The Veil Was Torn Permanently

Saturday, March 23rd, 2024

Let us understand the ramification of the veil being torn in two at the entrance to the Holy of Holies!

Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 27:

49 The rest said, “Let Him alone; let us see if Elijah will come to save Him.”

50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,

This veil was rent in two FROM TOP TO BOTTOM at the death of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Beloved Disciple recorded by The Holy Spirit in John chapter 1:

29  The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

30 This is He of whom I said, ‘After me comes a Man who is preferred before me, for He was before me.’

31 I did not know Him; but that He should be revealed to Israel, therefore I came baptizing with water.”

32 And John bore witness, saying, “I saw the Spirit descending from Heaven like a dove, and He remained upon Him.

33 I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’

34 And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.”

Matthew added the following details in Matthew chapter 3:

16  When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.

17 And suddenly a Voice came from Heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in Whom I am well pleased.”

FATHER confirmed that Jesus was and is fully acceptable as the perfect Lamb of GOD that would ultimately restore our direct relationship and access to FATHER.  The veil of separation was removed at the death of the Lamb of GOD.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 3:

25  Jesus’ God-given destiny was to be the sacrifice to take away sins, and now He is our mercy seat because of His death on the cross. We come to Him for mercy, for God has made a provision for us to be forgiven by faith in the Sacred Blood of Jesus. This is the perfect demonstration of God’s justice, because until now, HE had been so patient—holding back HIS justice out of HIS tolerance for us. So HE covered over the sins of those who lived prior to Jesus’ sacrifice.

26 And when the season of tolerance came to an end, there was only one possible way for God to give away HIS righteousness and still be true to both HIS justice and HIS mercy—to offer up HIS Own Son. So now, because we stand on the faithfulness of Jesus, God declares us righteous in HIS Eyes!  TPT

Mercy is not receiving what we deserve.  Grace is receiving what we don’t deserve.

Jesus successfully removed the veil so that each of us could be restored in a direct relationship with Our Heavenly Father, not just once per year but in a daily continuous state.

The Veil

Friday, March 22nd, 2024

Let us understand the purpose of the veil at the entrance to the Holy of Holies!

Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 27:

45  Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land.

46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

47 Some of those who stood there, when they heard that, said, “This Man is calling for Elijah!”

48 Immediately one of them ran and took a sponge, filled it with sour wine and put it on a reed, and offered it to Him to drink.

52 and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;

53 and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

This veil was to separate and protect mankind from being judged unto to death by The Presence of THE LORD.

Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Exodus chapter 26:

31  “You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an artistic design of cherubim.

32 You shall hang it upon the four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold. Their hooks shall be gold, upon four sockets of silver.

33 And you shall hang the veil from the clasps. Then you shall bring the ark of the Testimony in there, behind the veil. The veil shall be a divider for you between the Holy place and the Most Holy.

34 You shall put the mercy seat upon the ark of the Testimony in the Most Holy. 35 You shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand across from the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south; and you shall put the table on the north side.

Because of man’s sinful nature, FATHER had to provide a separator between HIM and man when HIS Presence came into the Holy of Holies.  The high priest could only enter in one time each year once a sacrifice of innocent blood had been presented.  The sacrificial blood came from a lamb without imperfections.  The acceptance was temporary in nature.

The cherubim represented the judgment of attempting to enter in through unacceptable means.

Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter 3:

24 So HE drove out the man; and HE placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of Life.

Cherubim are warrior angels, not angelic babies with wings as has been depicted in the past.  They were charged with protecting the Zoe Life from being accessed by sinful men who would come under eternal judgment if they experienced the unrestricted Presence of THE LORD.  They were placed there because of the Agape Love of FATHER.

The veil was the boundary between earth and Heaven. Josephus and Philo agree that the four different colors from which it as woven represented the four elements from which the world was created: earth, air, fire and water. The scarlet thread represented fire, the blue was the air, the purple was the sea, that is, water, and the white linen represented the earth in which the flax had grown. In other words, the veil represented matter. The high priest wore a vestment woven from the same four colors and this is why the Book of Wisdom says that Aaron’s robe represented the whole world. He took off this robe when he entered the Holy of Holies because the robe was the visible form of one who entered the Holy of Holies.  Those who shed the earthly garments, on the other side of the veil, were robed in garments of glory. In other words, they became Divine.

Once each year, the high priest had a taste of The Divine, but it was only temporary.

It is critical that we understand the revelation of the veil if we are to become fully mature as Sons and Daughters of GOD.  More to come…

Past, Present, And Future

Thursday, March 21st, 2024

To truly know FATHER, we must rely and trust in the perfect Sacrifice of Jesus!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 10:

19  Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the Blood of Jesus,

20 by a new and living Way which He consecrated for us, through the Veil, that is, His Flesh,

21 and having a High Priest over the House of God,

22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,

25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

How is it that you and I can boldly enter into the Most Holy Sanctuary standing before Our Heavenly Father?  There is only one way, and it is by The Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ!  Which sins were included in His Perfect sacrifice?  All of them- past, present, and future.

Paul references Jeremiah chapter 31:33 as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in:

16  “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” 17 then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

18 Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

It is vital to achieving full maturity for us to understand and embrace the Truths in this Book to The Hebrews.

Paul wrote in chapter 8:

7  For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.

8 Because finding fault with them, He says: “Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah-

9 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them, says the LORD.

10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

13 In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

The Old Covenant was clearly insufficient and is now obsolete since Jesus’ Blood perfected The New Covenant.  Our daily lives, mindsets, and expectations should be focused solely on the New Covenant and Its benefits.  Let the performance requirements of The Old Covenant pass away from our thinking for it has become obsolete.

Let us base our relationship with FATHER on Jesus’ performance, not our own.  We don’t need a prayer chain of 100 people to get FATHER to respond.  We don’t need to beg HIM for results.  Instead, we need to exercise faith in HIM and HIS provisions that have already been allocated for our benefit.  I know that this transition to a new mindset can be challenging.  Most of us have grown up in a performance-based environment.  Much teaching in the past has at its core, required us to perform certain rituals to get results.  Let us trust in The Blood AND The Body of Jesus Christ, not our own performance.

Know Jesus

Wednesday, March 20th, 2024

To truly know FATHER, we must know Jesus!

Throughout our history God has spoken to our ancestors by HIS prophets in many different ways. The revelation HE gave them was only a fragment at a time, building one Truth upon another.

But to us living in these last days, FATHER now speaks to us openly in the language of a Son, the appointed Heir of everything, for through Him God created the panorama of all things and all time.

Jesus, Our Elder Brother, is the dazzling radiance of FATHER’S splendor, the Exact Expression of GOD’S True Nature—HIS Mirror Image!  If you want to truly understand FATHER’S Nature, you must focus on Jesus Christ.

Why should we spend an inordinate amount of time and focus on the Old Testament prophets when we really should focus on all aspects of Jesus Christ and the Epistles which further point to His Nature?

He holds the universe together and expands it by the mighty power of His Spoken Word. He accomplished for us the complete cleansing of sins, and then took His Seat on the highest Throne at the Right Hand of FATHER, the Majestic One.

The Old Testament was a legalistic, temporary approach toward GOD which simply identified what sin was and provided a temporary solution to reestablishing access to GOD in some manner.  Constant, innocent blood sacrifice was required for access.  Jesus Himself rectified the problem of access to FATHER.  The Old Testament was based on your performance and how well you lived.  In contrast, The New Testament is based on The Blood of Jesus and His performance, independent of our own performance… thankfully!

You cannot merge the New and the Old together.  The New Covenant replaced the Old Covenant!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 11:

6 But without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

FATHER rewards our faith, not our performance.  When we diligently seek HIM, our mindset changes and we begin to embrace everything He has already provided for us.  We don’t need to beg HIM for healing, we need to embrace the healing power HE has already provided.  The problem is between our ears, not HIM being reluctant to bless His Children!

And in chapter 12:

1  Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

2 looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the Right Hand of the Throne of God.

As I wrote yesterday, if you truly desire to walk in faith, you should focus on The One Who leads us into faith’s perfection.  His perfect sacrifice did what the Old Testament could not do: Bring us into full Sonship with FATHER!

You cannot mix the two Covenants together and expect to produce the same results Jesus produced.  The Old Covenant did not produce a new creation, however, The New Covenant did.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 5:

16  Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

18 Now all things are of God, Who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the Word of reconciliation.

Jesus emphasized the reality on the “new creation” when He spoke in Mark chapter 2:

18  The disciples of John and of the Pharisees were fasting. Then they came and said to Him, “Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples do not fast?”

19 And Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast.

20 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them, and then they will fast in those days.

21 No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; or else the new piece pulls away from the old, and the tear is made worse.

22 And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.

Being a new creation, we ought to walk accordingly and focus on the revelations contained in The Words of Jesus, not the incomplete, partial aspects of the Old Testament.  Those prophecies pointed to Jesus, the Author and Finisher (perfecter) of our faith!

Transitioning To The New

Tuesday, March 19th, 2024

We must transition to the reality of the New Covenant!

Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 7:

6  Jesus replied, “You are hypocrites! How accurately did Isaiah prophesy about you phonies when he said: ‘These people honor me with their words while their hearts run far away from me!

7 Their worship is nothing more than a charade! For they continue to insist that their man-made traditions are equal to the Instructions of God.’

8 “You abandon God’s Commandments just to keep men’s rituals, such as ceremonially washing utensils, cups, and other things.”

9 Then he added, “How skillful you’ve become in rejecting God’s law in order to maintain your man-made set of rules.

10 For example, Moses taught us: ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and, ‘Whoever insults or mistreats his father or mother must be put to death.’

11 “But your made-up rules allow a person to say to his parents, ‘I’ve decided to take the support you were counting on from me and make it my Holy offering to God, and that will be your blessing instead.’

12 How convenient! The rules you teach exempt him from providing for his aged parents.

13 Do you really think God will honor your traditions passed down to others, making up rules that nullify God’s Word? And you’re doing many other similar things.” TPT

In essence, the traditions of men make The Word of GOD of none effect!  People are more interested in convenience than to be doers of The Word, especially those Words spoken by Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 1:

1  God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,

2 has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the Right Hand of the Majesty On High,

4 having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent Name than they.

Why focus on the Old Testament prophets when we should be focusing on The Words of Jesus Christ?  Does that mean that we should disregard the Words of the prophets?  No, however, our primary instruction should come from The Words of Jesus and the New Covenant.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 12:

1  Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

2 looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith, Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the Right Hand of the Throne of God.

If you truly desire to walk in faith, you should focus on The One Who leads us into faith’s perfection.  His perfect sacrifice did what the Old Testament could not do: Bring us into full sonship with FATHER!

Revelation Of The Word

Monday, March 18th, 2024

We need more revelation knowledge of The Word of GOD!

Hosea recorded by THE SPIRIT in 4:6, “My people are destroyed by a lack of knowledge.”  What is the opposite of destruction?

FATHER wants us blessed!  HE wants us to walk in Divine health!  HE wants us to prosper in every area of our life!  HE is not withholding any good thing from us.

Did Adam and Eve have any lack before the fall?  No.  Once sin entered in, FATHER brought forth The Law to reveal sin.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be Spiritually minded is Life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.

8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

As we receive revelation knowledge in any area of The Word of GOD, we become Spiritually minded in that area.  When we embrace the whole Word of GOD, we become mature Sons and Daughters of GOD.  It is imperative that we embrace the entire Word and not just portions.  A carnal mind will reject anything that challenges its supremacy in a particular area.  It wants to keep you in bondage.

Paul further explains:

12  Therefore, brethren, we are debtors-not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.

13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are Sons of God.

15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are Children of God,

17 and if children, then heirs-heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

We did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading us back into the fear of never being good enough. But we have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding us into the family of God. And we will never feel orphaned, for as He rises up within us, our spirits join Him in saying the Words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!”

As we fully embrace the Truth that Our Heavenly Father only wants the best for us, we will no longer desire to be tied to the carnal things of the world.  Our priorities will change.  Our resources will become tools rather than accumulating them for self-serving worldly desires.  After all, earthly resources are temporary in nature.

What is the purpose of being blessed here on earth?  To bless others in need and be a testimony of Our Heavenly Father’s Divine Intent.

The Truth Shall Make You Free

Sunday, March 17th, 2024

We need to fully embrace the Priesthood of Our Lord Jesus Christ for it is eternal!

Jesus spoke in John chapter 8:

31  Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My Word, you are My disciples indeed.

32 And you shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.”

The Words Jesus spoke are vital to our lives in the here and now.  Do we want to be free of sin consciousness, sickness, and disease, or are we willing to tolerate a lesser existence until our passing?

If you aren’t free in any area of your life, whether it is financial, your physical body (i.e. healing), your emotions, if you are bound in any area, then you do not know and fully understand the Truth that Jesus is referring to in the above passage.  His Truth supersedes the lesser understanding people have embraced that has negatively impacted them in those areas.

We need to embrace ALL that Jesus teaches for that is the definition of a true, mature disciple.  Acknowledging the Truth is not the same as embracing the Truth!

If you have some need and you want it resolved, then you need a greater revelation of the Truth and fully embrace it.  I can personally attest to dealing with issues that required a greater commitment to the Truth than what I was consciously walking in at various times in the past.  I became “void” of HIS Word by not renewing my mind of HIS Truth in the area of healing and had to repent.  In response, I immersed myself in Scriptures on healing and was healed of a life-threatening disease.  It took commitment on my part.

We must change the way we think.  Renewing our minds to conform to The Word is the issue.  The adversary wants us to accept the narrative of the world.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Peter chapter 1:

2  Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,

3 as His Divine power has given to us all things that pertain to Life and Godliness, through the knowledge of Him Who called us by glory and virtue,

4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the Divine Nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

“Through the knowledge of Him” is the key to understanding how we walk in Life and Godliness.

Hosea spoke by THE SPIRIT in Hosea chapter 4:

6   My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

This Truth still applies today.  Many have become forgetful hearers and have allowed themselves to walk in ignorance of the Truth that makes us free.

FATHER wants to bless you more than you want to be blessed!  HE wants you to be well more than you want to be well.  HE wants you to prosper more than you want to be prospered.  HE wants you to walk in Love, joy, and peace.  You don’t have to beg for these benefits, they have already been given for your benefit.  However, you cannot benefit from them if you don’t know how to receive them.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 7:

7  “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?

10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?

11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will Your Father who is in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

If you don’t know what to ask for, can you expect to receive anything?  Why accept mediocrity when FATHER wants you to walk in the fullness of Life?  Jesus paid the price for such a relationship with Our Heavenly Father!

Past, Present, And Future

Saturday, March 16th, 2024

The Priesthood of Our Lord Jesus Christ is eternal!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 7:

1  For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,

2 to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated “king of righteousness,” and then also king of Salem, meaning “king of peace,”

3 without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually.

If there is a change in the priesthood, there must be a change in the Law.  What does that mean to you and me?  Paul explains the importance of this change in Hebrews chapter 8:

11 None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.

12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”

13 In that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Jesus perfected not only the priesthood, but also the sacrifice for us individually so that FATHER would remember our sins “no more”!

Paul continues in Hebrews chapter 9:

11  But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.

12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His Own Blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

When did Jesus present His Blood to FATHER?  2,000 years ago.  When did He present His Body as a sacrifice for our healing?  2,000 years ago… once and for all!

13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh,

14 how much more shall The Blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the New Covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the Eternal inheritance.

His Blood was given for our past, present, and future sins!  His Blood sacrifice which occurred 2,000 years ago, includes all sin in the future… yours and mine.  This is why we are no longer classified as sinners.  As we understand this Truth, we will embrace the reality of being Sons and Daughters of GOD, without condemnation of our past.

Paul further wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 3:

10  For you have acquired new creation life which is continually being renewed into the likeness of the One who created you; giving you the full revelation of God.

11 In this new creation life, your nationality makes no difference, nor your ethnicity, education, nor economic status—they matter nothing. For it is Christ that means everything as He lives in every one of us!

12 You are always and dearly Loved by God! So robe yourself with virtues of God, since you have been Divinely chosen to be Holy. Be merciful as you endeavor to understand others, and be compassionate, showing kindness toward all. Be gentle and humble, unoffendable in your patience with others.

Don’t let your mind bring up the past and put you into condemnation.  Instead, look to Our High Priest in gratitude for dealing with the past, present, and future!

An Additional Kids In Need Update

Friday, March 15th, 2024

Today, your contributions were used to pay off school cafeteria lunch debt for 71 elementary students who could not afford to buy their own meals. This elementary school has a substantial number of kids in the poverty level.

The cafeteria worker stated that she looks forward to telling each of these students, “Your debt has been wiped out!”

Your contributions (whether large or small) are central to us ministering to the poor. Thank you!

Renewing Our Mind Daily

Friday, March 15th, 2024

It is vital that we renew our mind daily!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 12:

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

In other Words, stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in His Eyes.

James wrote by The Holy Spirit in his Epistle in chapter 1:

22  But be doers of The Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

23 For if anyone is a hearer of The Word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

25 But he who looks into the Perfect Law of Liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

In other Words, if you listen to the Word and don’t live out the message you hear, you become like the person who looks in the mirror of the Word to discover the reflection of his face in the beginning.

You perceive how God sees you in the mirror of the Word, but then you go out and forget your Divine origin. But those who set their gaze deeply into the perfecting law of liberty are fascinated by and respond to the Truth they hear and are strengthened by it—they experience God’s blessing in all that they do!

Focusing on the Spiritual occasionally, causes one to become forgetful of who they are in Christ.  They slowly become impacted by the ideas and opinions of the current culture.  They slowly change their priorities to conform to the current narrative of what and who they listen to on a daily basis.  Ultimately, they go astray and water down The Gospel and no longer exalt Jesus Christ.

My wife and I have begun taking Communion daily.  Why?  It is imperative for us to renew our minds daily of the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us individually.  It is more important that we exalt Our Lord daily than to focus on the world six days and then focus on Jesus one day.  Some churches have communion once a month, some less.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 2:

46 Daily they met together in the temple courts and in one another’s homes to celebrate Communion. They shared meals together with joyful hearts and tender humility.

47 They were continually filled with praises to God, enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were coming to Life

Could this be the reason that they added to the church daily?

Do you want to be blessed occasionally or daily?  Do you want doors to open occasionally or daily?

We are taking Communion not out of duty, but out of desire to keep Our Lord Jesus Christ at the forefront of our daily walk… doing so in remembrance of Him.  It is all about intent!
