Calamity will come

Thursday, April 30th, 2015

Psalms 2 asks the rhetorical question “Why do the nations rebel?” and “Why do they plot a vain thing?”.  It is because they are led by their fleshly and carnal desires and are fully disconnected from a relationship with the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.  Throughout history when mankind has distanced itself from FATHER, vanity, rebellion, and division occur.

Once again, we are moving toward a crescendo where a major shift will occur.  Jesus alerted us of this period of time in Matthew 24:

3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.

5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Jesus instructed us not to be troubled and in order to fulfill His instruction we must have faith in His Word.  How else can we be at peace when war, famine, pestilence, and earthquakes are happening all around us?  In order to be of great faith, we must first comprehend FATHER’S great Love for us.  As we increase in the revelation of HIS Love we will have full assurance that HE will deliver us from the plotting of those who are currently in control.  Jesus continues:

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold

Is there any question whatsoever that lawlessness is everywhere?  Every single day there are a multitude of news reports of illegal, immoral, and unethical activities in every aspect of our society.  The moral fiber of this country is now missing for the most part.  Self-centered officials will sacrifice anyone who would attempt to challenge their positions.  The threat to national security is the default rationalization for lawlessness at the highest levels.  Who determines what is right and just now?  Actions are based on self-preservation rather than serving the public.

Jesus warned us that the Love (Agape) of many would grow cold.  Why?  Because they allowed themselves to be moved by what they see and no longer trusted in FATHER’S Plan to redeem all of mankind.  They have become so frustrated with the prevailing lawlessness that they have become impatient for change.  In response they begin taking action as though it has been ordained by FATHER… as though HE needs our help.  They are no longer waiting on THE LORD.  We must not let our Love grow cold!  This is why I implore you to spend time with FATHER moment by moment and return to your first Love.  As you do, your faith will be energized and the actions of others will no longer impact your peace.  It is my intent to stir up your Love and exhort you to not give up on FATHER’S Plan in spite of what you see and hear all around you.  Jesus is our High Priest and has shown us The Way to draw near to FATHER.  Let us exhort others to that full assurance we have as well:

Hebrews 10:19 Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,

20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh,

21 and having a High Priest over the house of God,

22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.

24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,

25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

No matter what happens we must guard ourselves from having our Love grow cold and we must not let our faith waver. “But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”  Our Love is being perfected and we will be found to have great faith as a result.

Moving toward Perfection

Wednesday, April 29th, 2015

The carnal man would have you believe that you cannot attain perfection.  It is the guilt of the past that often weighs you down as you proceed on the path FATHER has called you.  “Self” wants to keep you from moving higher in Spiritual understanding because the ego knows that as you ascend toward Mount Zion, you will shed the old man and the associated cravings.  We must take command of our mind and focus on the higher Truths FATHER is revealing to us in this hour:

Philippians 4:8  Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

As we meditate on the Truth, our thought life is cleansed of the impure, selfish thoughts.  We begin to see people through the eyes of Love rather than the eyes of judgment.  The fact is the vessels of dishonor are maturing toward their end at the same time the vessels of honor are coming to full perfection.  If anyone understood moving away from unrighteousness, it was Paul who was Saul.  His redemption assured him that there is hope for all and he understood the free gift given to all by the Blood of Jesus Christ as he wrote:

Romans 5:19  For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

This clear path to perfection is only hindered by our unwillingness to move forward in maturity.  Our salvation is a gift but those called to become overcomers require a full commitment.  HIS Blood is sufficient for your entrance to Heaven but your willingness to serve HIM determines which group or squadron you will function and participate in.  HE is drawing those who have a deep desire to serve mankind to a higher place in Spiritual terms.  These will be known by their Love for mankind and their willingness to be led by the HOLY SPIRIT rather than their own minds.  Not my will but yours, FATHER!

The priorities of those called to this higher calling to serve will cause them to put away old aspirations.  When the mind was in control, their priorities were different.  They may have focused on sports, the political scene, or other various organizations to associate with.  But as they moved away from the mind’s path to “The Way”, their priorities changed.  They didn’t isolate themselves from the others, their priorities simply changed.  They embraced fellowship over competition and status.  They began looking for ways to serve others rather than exploit them.  They began to appreciate life and all of creation and simply let life “be”.

As we move toward perfection, we must focus on submitting fully to HIS Spirit in our daily walk, not just during the heat of the battle.  For in HIM we live and move and have our being as Paul stated in Acts 17:28.  Our faith must have a foundation of Love supporting it because any other foundation will be as sand when the rains come and the winds blow.  When Love is your primary intent, nothing that man does will dissuade you from your expectation of what FATHER states will come to pass.  Your expectation lines up with FATHER’S Word to you.

Romans 10:17  So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

When FATHER speaks, faith comes to those who have ears to hear.  Every Word HE speaks has power within it to cause it to come to pass.  The carnal mind cannot comprehend the reality that there is “substance” to faith-filled words.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

When FATHER speaks, manifestation occurs.  We only have to look at the universe and its constant expansion to observe this Truth.  If HE says we can attain to a pure heart, we must accept that Truth and proceed accordingly and quit listening to the carnal mind which is forever condemning us for our past actions and thoughts.  We must cast down vain imaginations and be tenacious in our quest to become the full expressions of HIS Love on this earth.  As for me, I will not be denied this Truth in my life.  I will continue to run the race knowing that the most difficult leg of the race is the last 100 yards.  That final leg of the race is where you find full commitment to the high calling.  Anyone can start a race, but how many are truly committed to finishing?  When we see the finish line, we are refreshed and tap into an energy that remained dormant until this very hour.  Let us move on toward perfection!

The Seven Challenges to Our Maturity

Tuesday, April 28th, 2015

Fear or terror is often associated with confusion due to the unknown, especially when given a bad or adverse report.  When we become distressed, our peace is challenged and if we don’t deal with the adversity, our emotions will take control over our spirit.  Peace in our hearts will become a distant reality.  By spending time with FATHER our peace will once again increase and overtake the fear that has gripped our hearts.  We must not let the world determine our state of being.  We must overcome fear by trusting in FATHER’S Love for us:

Psalm 23:Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

The carnal mind of spiritual darkness is the second challenge.  Those who approach Scripture on an intellectual basis have their understanding darkened.  FATHER is multifaceted in every area whereas the mind is binary in nature- up/down, in/out, white/black, etc.  When the mind is in control, it will create problems to fix instead of walking according to the SPIRIT.  Much time and resource are wasted by those who walk intellectually.

1 Corinthians 2:13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.

16 For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Pride and vain imaginations represent the third challenge.  Self-importance is a hallmark of those who walk around in spiritual pride and they move the focus away from FATHER in order to be at the center of attention.  They would lead you to believe that without them, FATHER’S Plan will not be fulfilled.

2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

You can be assured that those hung up in this third challenge will have their day of reckoning.  It may not be today or tomorrow but be assured it will come.  They will finally believe their own vain imaginations and take some course of action that will expose them for what and who they are.

Proverbs 16:18  Pride goes before destruction,
And a haughty spirit before a fall.

The forth challenge: The harlot spirit of using external gimmicks to falsely indicate an anointing.  Oh what a sensitive topic.  This area is where we must be vigilant not to be taken in by the appearance of godliness but without GODLY fruit.  A harlot will lure you away from the true relationship by the outward appearance only to leave you empty afterward.  There is often a formula to success and “if you will only walk out those steps you will be blessed” will be their declaration.  Jesus specifically warned us of those who would deceive us with a “false” anointing:

Matthew 24:23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it.

24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

25 See, I have told you beforehand.

26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it

Challenge number five is the “defenseless” walk.  In the sight of these people, every solution is on the outside and there is nothing within them to guide them.  They rely on everyone else for their blessing or solution.  They do not see FATHER inside of them thus they cannot be led by the HOLY SPIRIT.  They are not overcomers but are overcome themselves and go from one crisis to another.  There is nothing internally to draw from.  As FATHER lives in us and thus HIS Life is within, we no longer view ourselves as defenseless but now know HE is with us and will never leave us.  As we receive HIS SPIRIT, HE has granted us life within us just as HE did Jesus:

John 5:26 For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself.

Conformance to the world’s way is the sixth challenge.  “This is the way we have always done it” is the excuse those people use to conform us using peer pressure.  FATHER moved the camp 41 times before the children entered into the Promised Land.  We must not allow revelation to become tradition, a recurring theme in the church world.  FATHER is refreshing by having us break the mold and often directing us to do unconventional things which make no sense to the world.  HE is outside the box of the world’s thinking and would like for us to join him.

Isaiah 55:9   “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

The final challenge is overcoming our own trials and tribulation… the ego, flesh, carnal man.  This is where the wheat is separated from the chaff, where we put off the old man which is the final challenge of the true overcomer.

Revelation 2:26 And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—

27 ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron;

They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter’s vessels.

The rod of iron is the anointing of power and authority to be given the Overcomers to rule and reign over the nations.  This true anointing will be sufficient to overcome all the turmoil and confusion of the current system.  The overcomers are not fearful but instead are enlightened and see the stark lawlessness of the current system.  These overcomers know that all power is from FATHER and they are HIS vessels of Honor and are fully dependent upon HIS SPIRIT.  They are not deceived by the trickery or external gimmicks proposed by those who would appear to have the solutions.  They have put on the full armor of GOD and will no longer conform to the world’s ways that lead toward death and destruction.  Finally, they have overcome their own carnal nature and put the old self to death.  Yes there are challenges to your maturity but FATHER has provided the means and the methods to overcome them all.  Those who address these challenges head on will be rewarded accordingly and will enter into the Promised Land.

Finishing the race set before us

Those who run half marathons are only half crazy!

My Creation’s Nutrients supplements must get some of the credit, especially Super Limber.  There were many younger runners in the “Ice” tent after the race for joint inflammation issues.  I simply walked with Pam back to the car after the race to go have some breakfast.

Generous Giving

Monday, April 27th, 2015

The current system promotes scarcity yet FATHER continues to create galaxies at an exponential rate.  Man’s ways move toward scarcity whereas FATHER’S way moves toward abundance.  Why are so many barely getting by?  I would suggest that they are living without being fully connected with FATHER.  Why?  Do you think a loving father would withhold any good thing from his son or daughter?  Jesus clearly stated the Love of FATHER for HIS children:

Luke 11:9  “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

10  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

11  If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?

12  Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

13  If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

In the above passage, Jesus is speaking about asking for and receiving the Holy Spirit to become resident and operational in men’s lives.  Do you think this is the only application and manifestation of FATHER’S Love?  This is the critical first step in being led by THE SPIRIT for you must receive the Holy Spirit in order to be led.  But to what end?  Isn’t being led by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of establishing FATHER’S Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven?

One of the simplest ways to get people’s attention is to be generous.  When you seek to give more than what is requested, it impacts the recipient in a notable fashion.  What message does it send?  “I want you to live beyond scarcity and I will be a part of overcoming lack in your life.”  What is your response when you buy a good or service and receive more than what you bargained for?  How do you feel about the other party?

Luke 6:37 “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Generous giving requires that the giver to judge not, condemn not, and forgive for this is what Love does.  It is so easy for the one who has resources to rationalize why the recipient should not be given too much.  “They are poor stewards so it won’t do any good.”  “They don’t need my help, they already have plenty.”  “They wronged me so why should I help them?”  The list goes on and on.  Consider your past acts toward FATHER?  You too were ungodly when Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for you.

If you are not a generous giver, you are void of HIS Word in that area.  I learned this reality the hard way in 1984.  I had been living in Divine health for over 5 years at the time and FATHER told me to slow down.  My job was extremely demanding and I had much to do.  In April of that year I contracted Hepatitis A from shellfish and it turned out to be the worst case our doctor had encountered.  Upset, I went to FATHER about this unexpected illness and HE told me I was “void of HIS Word”.  I pleaded my case and reminded HIM of all the Christian books and tapes I consumed, intense study associated with those materials, etc.  His question to me- “When was the last time you studied My Word in the area of health and healing?”  Oops!  Since I had been healthy, the topic was not a priority.

In looking back, that was selfish of me for others could have received ministry by HIS Word from my mouth.  I repented and was given specific instructions for removing the void in this area.  The result was that after 11 days, I was healed of Hepatitis when according to my doctor I should have been off work for a minimum of six weeks.  It was a tough lesson but I am grateful.

You can’t give what you don’t have.  In James chapter 4 we read:

3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.

Do you earnestly seek to be a conduit for FATHER’S Love to mankind or are your prayers mainly about getting your own needs met?  The flesh cannot understand that when you have others’ best interest at heart, your needs are met as well.  You may say that you have nothing to give?  We all have time we can give.  We all have words and acts of kindness to distribute.  Start with what you have and see if FATHER doesn’t expand your sphere of influence.  It starts with the seeds of generous giving.  HE will provide the increase for HE is not slack to perform HIS Word.

The Flow of Resources

Sunday, April 26th, 2015

Psalm 24:1 The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness,

The world and those who dwell therein.

2 For He has founded it upon the seas,

And established it upon the waters.

King David very specifically acknowledged and established WHO is the Possessor of Heaven and earth… Our Heavenly Father.  Men may have been given derivative power but it is only been given to carry out FATHER’S Plan, Will, and purpose.  All three aspects have Love as the Divine Intent.

Yesterday I referenced the rich man who had been given resources to steward over.  Those who are wealthy and fail to acknowledge and reverence FATHER tend to believe that they are someone special and entitled.  Generally, they end up living in lack in some critical area in life, an area money can’t buy.  Others live in constant lack.  They are always looking for ways to extract resources from other in order to make ends meet when they should be looking to FATHER to supply all their need.  They have yet to receive the revelation that FATHER is willing to meet their need as they pursue a relationship with HIM, not just HIS resources.  They are too self-centered and need to get beyond themselves and look to FATHER with a pure, repentant heart for HE will meet them where they are at but they take control of their thoughts and cast down vain imaginations.

We should be anxious for nothing and Paul addressed this anxiety in Philippians chapter 4:

6  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

7  and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Once HIS Peace begins to permeate your soul and body, you will begin to view your life in a new and different light.  You will become empowered and optimistic about the future.  You will rest assured that HE is hearing your prayers and you are content in whatever state you are currently in.  Paul understood this reality:

8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

9 The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

The Apostle Paul dealt with many physical challenges as he ministered to the Gentiles: “In stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often.  From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one.  Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep;  in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;  in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness—”.  Most of us will never experience the extreme hardships Paul faced yet he stated:

11  Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:

12  I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

It is the anointing of Christ that empowers us to be content and to have peace in whatever state we are in.  FATHER has unlimited resources and has sufficient resources for all who dwell on the face of the earth.  HE will use those who walk in HIS Wisdom and understanding to deploy those resources once they step into their calling.  This remnant will close out the Age of Pentecost and usher in the Age of Tabernacles according to HIS perfect plan.  They understand the need for resources to flow through them rather than for those resources to be hoarded or fully consumed stemming from a view of lack or scarcity.

The Philippians understood this flow as Paul stated:

18 Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus (means lovely) the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God.

19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Verse 19 has been used as a plea to receive by those in the “Faith” movement of the past and without regard to the context of giving mentioned in verse 18.  FATHER wants to meet all our needs but in proper fashion.  HE will not supply abundance to be consumed improperly.  That is why it is so important to understand HIS Character so that we can properly steward HIS resources.  Only then will those resources flow freely through us, not just to us.  Psalm 24 continues:

3 Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD?

Or who may stand in His holy place?

4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,

Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,

Nor sworn deceitfully.

5 He shall receive blessing from the LORD,

And righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Let us ascend to FATHER’s Divine Intent of Love that we may become vessels of HIS Love and resources to flow through!

FATHER provides the increase to Cheerful Givers

Saturday, April 25th, 2015

The following can and will be a blessing to you if you embrace its Truths.

One of the stickiest subjects to write on is financial.  Why?  Because of what Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 6:

10 For the love of money (greed) is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

I have been around many wealthy people over the years as well as many who were poor.  Your current financial condition does not determine whether you are greedy, it simply impacts your intent and actions.  Wealthy people will attempt to hoard what they have, never considering they have enough to sustain them.  Jesus warned us “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions" and then spoke of the self-serving wealthy in the Parable of the Rich Fool in Luke 12:

16 Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully.

17 And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’

18 So he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods.

19 And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.” ’

20 But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’

21 “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

We are to be rich toward FATHER by laying up treasures in Heaven, not by building bigger barns.  What does by rich toward FATHER mean?  Psalms 112 provides us some insight:

1 Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, Who delights greatly in His commandments (of Love)

2 His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed.

3 Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever

As we pursue to closer relationship with Our Heavenly Father, we open up the windows of Heaven to provide blessing.  Fear and greed cannot and will not stand in the Presence of FATHER.  FATHER will bless those according to their calling and will meet every need for HE is faithful and trustworthy to do so.  As we hear HIS Word specifically to us, we will respond and pursue the path HE directs us to.  This path will produce the finances not only to sustain us but will also provide an increase that we may become cheerful givers.  I know this from firsthand experience.

Once HE leads us away from lack, we must be vigilant in properly stewarding the abundance.  We must not become like the rich fool and continue to hoard, thinking only of “self”.  We have brethren in need and we must be sensitive to HIS Voice when he directs us to give.  FATHER will use those with a willing heart to carry out HIS Plan.  Paul provides a warning to those who have wealth:

1 Timothy 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.

18 Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share,

19 storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Faith requires us to give before the fruit of this giving comes forth as the Law of seedtime and harvest applies.  You must plant seed before you can yield a crop.  However the seed must be planted with a motivation of Love rather than greed.  FATHER knows your heart and will respond accordingly.  When seed is planted in good ground, thirty, sixty, or a hundredfold is the result.  The Parable of the Sower applies in many areas with finances being just one of them.  Psalm 112 continues and provides us a contrast between the righteous man and the greedy:

9 He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor;

His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted with honor.

10 The wicked will see it and be grieved; He will gnash his teeth and melt away;

The desire of the wicked shall perish.

We must quit being so sensitive about money.  FATHER once told me: “Money is a commodity to ME, you should treat it the same way”.  As we seek to bless other, we take on HIS Divine Intent of Love and HE opens up HIS treasury to replenish the supply.  HE is not broke and has unlimited resources to draw from.  Selah!

Opportunity to Bless

Friday, April 24th, 2015

I will soon be traveling to the UK to visit with Brian Williams (not the NBC news anchor) who was called to bring forth the message of Love over a period of several decades to different countries throughout the world.  His last public ministry occurred at Port Austin and abruptly and unexpectedly ended.  Those that heard him speak were truly blessed.  During the conference, he read “The Law” for one hour each day under an anointing so notable that those who were present can still recall.  I plan to video Brian as he shares what FATHER is showing him for he still has a passion to share “Christ in us, the hope of glory”.  I hope to post these videos on our ustream channel upon my return.  Brian’s life is a testimony to those who have spent much time with him.  He lives what he proclaims and is unwavering in his passion for FATHER.

If you wish bless Brian and Freda in a financial manner, you may send your donations to Servias Ministries.

Good, Better, and Best

Friday, April 24th, 2015

When it comes to health and healing, which would you prefer?  Good, better, or best?  We are currently living in a time where we have been subtly directed to move down the scale toward “good”.  We have been bombarded with toxins from all directions as a result of following lawless practices in farming.  I asked my friend Loren, a lifetime farmer, how he dealt with insect problems.  His reply, “Grow a healthy plant.”

Our body Is designed to live forever and it is designed to heal itself.  Those are the two truths Dr. Speckhart would proclaim during various discussions about alternative medicine.  The pharmaceutical companies would have us believe that sickness and disease are due to a lack of their product.  The American society has been dumbed down to rely on pills for health rather than faith in Our Heavenly Father’s willingness to heal our infirmities.  As a whole, we have become weak in faith to the point of being faithless.

Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

My mandate is to point you to a direct relationship with FATHER, not some god in a distant galaxy.  Are you diligently seeking HIM or are you diligently seeking those whom you believe have a special anointing as though their anointing will somehow rub off on you?  When Jesus told the disciples that He must leave in order for the Comforter to come, He omitted any discussion about departing so thousands and thousands of books could be written for mankind to learn more about FATHER.  Wasn’t HIS Holy Spirit sufficient to lead us and guide us into all Truth in Love?  Consider what David wrote in Psalm 43:

3 Oh, send out Your light and Your truth!

Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.

4 Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy;

And on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.

5 Why are you cast down, O my soul?  And why are you disquieted within me?

Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

Don’t misunderstand me, teaching aids are good and helpful in our maturing process.  However, they should not replace our time with FATHER but instead should enrich it.

I am not against doctors or pills (good).  If you cannot seem to recover from a malady, by all means seek assistance.  I am not against alternative medicines and methods such as essential oils, electro-dermal screening (EDS) and associated technologies, and other non-invasive methodologies (better).  If they work for you then by all means don’t quit using those methods to gain relief.  My interest is in believing the Word of FATHER that HE will heal our sicknesses and infirmities (best).  Divine health is a blessing and it is FATHER’S Divine Intent that we walk in this state.  As we focus on our relationship with HIM, we should expect improved health as a result:

Exodus 23:25   “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.”

Matthew 4:23   And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Matthew 10:1   And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

In the past, I have attended many Pentecostal “healing” meetings.  Being realistic, I would say that 5 to 10% of the people received healing on the spot.  Others did not yet Jesus healed all manner of sickness and disease except when there was unbelief:

Matthew 13:53  Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, that He departed from there.

54 When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works?

55 Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?

56 And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?”

57 So they were offended at Him.  But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.”

58 Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

If you never spend time with HIM, your unbelief will be in empowered and in control of your destiny.  As we move toward a moment by moment relationship with FATHER, HE will move us toward better health.  HIS Holy Spirit will increase our awareness of those nutrients that our specific body needs.  We will be drawn to those minerals that we are missing.  HE will lead us and guide us into all Truth and that does not exclude the area of health.  If we need healing, we will begin to trust in HIS Promises of Blessing over the other means of treatment.

There has been an overall “silence” for the last 20 years, especially in the U.S. in the area of healing.  The major healing ministries have generally ceased with the passing of the one who headed up the organization.  The Pentecostal anointing had to subside and end before the Tabernacles anointing would come forth.  I believe FATHER wants no one to associate this new anointing with the old, somehow considering it to be renewed or revived.  It was necessary for the old to pass away, behold all things are new.  I am anticipating FATHER empowering those who Love HIM and share HIS Love for mankind to soon be endued with power and authority.  I believe this anointing to bring a full close to the Age of Pentecost will include what Jesus imparted to the twelve disciples but in a greater degree.  There will be no question that those with this ministry are sent from FATHER.  They will be in contrast to those who society relies on today.  A new standard of Love and Truth will be raised and the nations will be healed.  We will once again see HIS “best” in contrast to “good” and “better”.

Respond to HIS Call

Thursday, April 23rd, 2015

Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Who are you led by?  This is a question that each of us must answer in an absolute transparent fashion if we truly want to change.  When entering into a spiritual discussion, who do you quote?  Is your foundation of understanding based on a man’s writings, sermons, or broadcasts or are they based on what the Holy Spirit ministers to you as you spend time with FATHER?

It is time for us to awaken our souls and respond for He is summoning us to the Door.  You can read volumes about FATHER and increase your knowledge or you can respond to HIS call and know HIM on a personal basis, which path you take is up to you.

Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians chapter 8:

1 Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.

2 And if anyone thinks that he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.

3 But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.

If we continue to focus on knowledge, we feed our mind, will, and emotions and we further empower our mind.  At the same time we feed our emotions by satisfying the need to appear to be seeking the Spiritual.  We can point to the time we spend reading as though it increases our Spiritual sensitivity and provides us satisfaction toward meeting and achieving some goal.  In reality, we must spend time seeking FATHER and listening for HIS Voice.  Don’t get me wrong, HE will direct us to various reading materials etc. as HE determines the need, but it should be in response to HIS direction, not our soul’s desire.  On the other hand, if we focus on Love, we are known by HIM.  It is critical that you understand the difference between the pursuit of knowledge versus Love!

If you pursue the external, your fruit will be lacking in the Spiritual and your reward will be temporal.  Jesus made it very clear in Matthew 6:

5 “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.”

The hypocrite wants to impress others of his apparent spirituality by placing the focus on him and his ministry.  He redirects the attention of others by his outward actions and words.  It should be every mature believer’s purpose to direct others to maturity in Christ, not himself.  Each of us should be pursuing a personal, intimate relationship with FATHER, not becoming disciples of men who would convince us of their “anointing” by outward acts void of Spiritual fruit.  You are not called to judge men’s hearts but you are called to be “fruit” inspectors.

Paul spoke this warning in Acts chapter 20:

27  For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.

28  Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church (called out ones) of God which He purchased with His own blood.

29  For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.

30  Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves.

As each of us mature, we must direct the focus of others to HIM, not us.  When Jesus knocks, our souls must be awaken to immediately respond to His call.  In Revelation chapter 3, Jesus emphatically stated:

20 “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”

You must prepare yourself to respond to His Call.  Don’t be caught asleep when the knocking at the door comes forth.
