As

Tuesday, June 21st, 2016

There is a little word of great importance Jesus included in Our LORD’S Prayer- As.  Jesus gave us guidelines of entering into HIS Presence and when you seek to go before FATHER it is not a casual encounter.  You should do so with reverence and understanding that your connection with HIM is guarded and cannot be entered into in a lawless, impure, or other insincere manner.  One of the qualifications is forgiveness.  Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 6 as part of the passage known as The LORD’S Prayer:

12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.

If you expect to enter into HIS Presence you must forgive your debtors, those who owe you something.  Plenty of people have exploited and have spoken ill toward each of us but we must not let that prevent us from entering in.  Forgiveness is a prerequisite to come into HIS Presence.  Think about that word “as” for it will assure your forgiveness as well.

Innocence, Acceptance, and Forgiveness

Monday, June 20th, 2016

These are three attributes children have which we should take on as well.  If you walk in these attributes, you will see improvements in your health, outlook, and fruitfulness.  By The SPIRIT Peter wrote in his first epistle chapter 1:

22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

Innocence is gained by purification of the soul.  The old man must die and behold all things are new and innocent.  Our purity is legally and morally attained as we accept the Blood of Christ and no longer live the path of the old man.  We must not let the ego rise up and continually condemn us of our past for all have fallen short of HIS Glory but we have been lifted up out of the pit and have been selected to sit in Heavenly places with HIM, by HIM, and through HIM.

In Mark chapter 4, Jesus spoke a parable concerning the Word of GOD:

20 “But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”

Those who fully accept FATHER’S Word and instruction are going to bear fruit.  We can analyze the various returns but even thirtyfold would be an improvement over zero.  A child enjoys even the smallest improvements and is grateful for any opportunity to arise.  We must purpose to be good ground and enter into our “prayer closets” which is any quiet place separated from distractions brought on by the world.

Forgiveness among children comes quickly for they have not learned to hold a grudge.  Their egos have not been developed to take over their thoughts and actions as it has with adults.  We must become quick to forgive and understand FATHER will rectify any situation we find our self in that needs intervention.  We must not live in the past where acts have occurred which caused the seeds of unforgiveness to be planted.  We must remove any bitterness or resentment from our midst.  In Matthew chapter 6 Jesus spoke:

14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Once you are forgiven, blessings are released to come upon you.  FATHER cannot bless you if you cannot forgive your brother for his offenses.  This is why it is critical to embrace the revelation of Love in all areas of our lives and as we do, we break any yoke which would prevent the fullness of our calling from coming forth.  This purity of innocence, acceptance and forgiveness is fundamental to our walking the narrow path.  In Matthew chapter 18 Jesus spoke:

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them,
and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.
Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Clearly greatness in the Kingdom isn’t determined by our intellect, advanced studies, or physical ability.  Study young children and they may teach us a thing or two.

Who Do People See You As?

Saturday, June 18th, 2016

In Ephesians Chapter 5 Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT:

1 Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.

If it were not possible to imitate FATHER, HIS Holy Spirit would not tell us to do the impossible.  Think about, dwell, ponder, consider this simple Truth today!  It ties to what Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:

48  “Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in Heaven in perfect.”

Our Full Assurance

Friday, June 17th, 2016

In Romans chapter 8, by THE SPIRIT Paul wrote:

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

FATHER specifically set our expectations by HIS SPIRIT through Jesus Christ and affirmed once again through Paul in the above passage.  Above all else we should embrace this reality in our lives.   We should not let men’s words deter us from coming into the fullness of Christ.  Men would say it is impossible but nothing is impossible for FATHER to accomplish in us.  After all HE breathed life into Adam and that breath sustains us to this very day.

FATHER’S SPIRIT is in us awaiting our full acceptance and maturity to be led by HIM.  We have the choice to walk by the flesh or walk in THE SPIRIT.  HIS SPIRIT compels me to write this with a sense of urgency.  How could I write otherwise?  We are to embrace HIS Truth above all else and enter into HIS Flow and as we do we increase our sensitivity to HIS leading.  We are no longer moved by what we see or feel but are truly moved by HIS directives in our life.

What simplicity to have our being in HIM in such a complex world!  Men continue building complicated and complex systems believing there is a better way when they simply need to hear one Word from FATHER and bypass all the expended time and energy of systems destined toward failure.  Resources are available as FATHER deems necessary and we should live each day knowing that there is no need to be anxious.  In Philippians chapter 4 Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT:

19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Need I further expound on HIS Promises to us?  Let us be fully assured!

Attaining Perfection

Thursday, June 16th, 2016

Each of us is accountable and responsible for our personal growth and maturity.  Though it is important to receive instruction in our areas of weakness, we must not perpetually look to others to determine our state.  At some point we are to minister to others with the calling we have been given by FATHER and to become a blessing ourselves.  To grow we must endure trials and testings and those of us who have been on this path longer can provide assurance that those trials will pass at some point and you will be stronger as a result.  James wrote by THE SPIRIT in the first chapter of his epistle:

2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.

4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

We must acknowledge that we can become perfect and complete in order to attain perfection in our walk.  If we belittle ourselves and listen to others who would attempt to disparage us, we will lose sight of this goal of perfection. It is important for each of us to realize that FATHER would not urge us to attain perfection if it were not possible and reasonable to expect it.  Thus we should be mindful and pursue it.

There are two aspects of “lacking nothing”.  First, FATHER will provide you everything you need and second, as you mature in Christ you will find that you need less than you thought for the world’s trappings are no longer important.  There is a balance in walking in HIS provision.  You should only have what you can truly Love and no more.  How many of us have things that once obtained are no longer of value to us?  The ego has an extreme thirst for “things”, acknowledgment, and position usually at the expense of others.

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

I can assure you that if you walk in wisdom, it will serve you well in achieving the balance of having all your needs met.  Your decisions will dramatically improve and your resources will become more effective in their purpose.  You will walk without anything weighing you down and you will take no thought for tomorrow but embrace what is in front of you today.  You will let the past go and no longer dwell on those past mistakes and apparent failures that were actually meant to mature you rather than oppress you.

6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

We need to simply accept FATHER’S Word.  That seems simple but men would try to complicated HIS Word and change its intent by adding or subtracting to it.  If FATHER says HE will give you wisdom then simply expect it as a child who is quick to believe without hesitation.  Quit complicating the simple Truth.  We must expect FATHER to perform HIS Word in our lives and stop making excuses.  We must repent of our past unbelief and move on.  FATHER does not dangle a carrot in front of us, keeping it just beyond our grasp.  We must settle it once and for all in our minds that FATHER is our Provider in all areas without exception.  We must doubt not!  James warns us if we don’t:

7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;

8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

HE is our rock, unmovable, and we are to become like HIM in the same manner.  As we do we become stable, others will see our stability in times of trials and will be drawn to the light we project.  My goal for those who read this blog is that we all come into the fullness of the perfection FATHER has promised.  If we do, then the collapsing world around us will not impact us but we will instead impact it.

In order to reach perfection we must fully embrace the revelation of Love in our lives.  In Matthew chapter 5, Jesus spoke:

43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

47 And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors do so?”

Most of us have focused our Love for THE FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT however Jesus made it clear that we must move to the horizontal plane and also focus our Love for mankind.  This is a sign of maturity moving toward perfection.  We must Love our enemies and as we do we will become perfect and complete.  Our opinion about our enemy will cease and FATHER’S Spirit will guide our speech toward life.  If words of judgment are to be spoken it will be by THE SPIRIT rather than by our flesh.  As we overcome the challenge of Loving our enemies or anyone we might be at odds with, Jesus discloses our reward:

48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Embrace this Truth: “as HE is so are we”.

Reigning in Life

Wednesday, June 15th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Romans chapter 5:

17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

The word grace is first used in Genesis 6:8 “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.” and it denotes acceptance and favor.  Grace denotes deliverance from enemies, affliction, or adversity as well as enablement, daily guidance, forgiveness, and preservation. Many Bible teachers have defined grace in the New Testament as GOD’S unmerited favor.

An abundance of grace suggests more than just a sufficiency of grace.  The word abundance exceeds minimum requirement so this abundance of grace is necessary to reign.  I would suggest that we must employ Divine unconditional Love as the motivation of grace and the recipient is able to walk in it in order to reign in life.

To reign means:

  1. to be king, to exercise kingly power, to reign

    1. of the governor of a province

    2. of the rule of the Messiah

    3. of the reign of Christians in the millennium

  2. metaph. to exercise the highest influence, to control

There is a tendency to express the power and authority promised to us in this verse by restricting it to one realm such as the Spiritual realm but I would submit that Jesus operated and reigned in the physical as well.  He was not restricted in resources nor did anyone place Him in bonds or restrictions.  His body was glorified as necessary as well as invisible when the need arose.  He knew the intent of men’s hearts and dealt with them accordingly.  He cured sickness and disease as well as He set the captives free.

Peter experienced this abundance of grace when he was placed in prison as recorded in Acts chapter 12:

5 Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.

6 And when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison.

7 Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands.

8 Then the angel said to him, “Gird yourself and tie on your sandals”; and so he did. And he said to him, “Put on your garment and follow me.”

9 So he went out and followed him, and did not know that what was done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.

10 When they were past the first and the second guard posts, they came to the iron gate that leads to the city, which opened to them of its own accord; and they went out and went down one street, and immediately the angel departed from him.

11 And when Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent His angel, and has delivered me from the hand of Herod and from all the expectation of the Jewish people.”

As we continue to press in and fully align ourselves with FATHER and HIS Divine Intent of Love, we will reign with HIM in all circumstances.  We will walk in an abundance of grace without limitation or restriction.  Restrictions are only placed on those who have yet to mature to the fullness of Christ and this is done for their protection.  Until one is fully matured, he or she is incapable of handling the unrestricted power and authority granted by Our Heavenly Father.  However, we must understand that the goal of full maturity is definitely in our grasp and should be our expectation as we walk this narrow path for FATHER would not express this promise otherwise.

HE is the One Who sets our expectation thus we know HIS Intent.  If we know HIS Intent then we know our goal.  Expect to reign in life.

Assurance In Our Boldness

Tuesday, June 14th, 2016

In Proverbs chapter 28 we are told the righteous are bold as a lion.  Why?  Because FATHER equips us as we seek HIM thus we will understand all.  We keep HIS Law of Love as mature, discerning Sons and Daughters.  There are currently lawless ones who increases their riches by exploiting the poor but ultimately they are gathering up the wealth for those who will distribute to those in need.  The Righteous Ones will promote the flow of exchange and the economy will flourish.  Unlike the lawless who hoard their temporary wealth, those discerning Sons and Daughters will flourish and leave an inheritance:

Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children,
But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.

When the lawless pray, they wonder why their prayer is not answered.  It is because the prayer of the lawless in an abomination to FATHER.  James wrote in his epistle in chapter 4:

2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. 4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously”?

6 But He gives more grace. Therefore He says:

“God resists the proud,

But gives grace to the humble.

There are those who would attempt to cause you to go astray.  You must distance yourself from them and not allow them to influence your walk as you are maturing in Christ.  FATHER is fully aware of those who attempt to exploit your gifts and will remove them from your midst if they persist in their efforts.  They will be judged according to their intent but as we walk according to FATHER’S Intent we will be blameless and inherit good.

There is a saying- He is a legend in his own mind.  Those who are currently rich believe they need no further understanding but if anything, they need greater understanding to handle the greater responsibility of stewardship.  Otherwise, their wealth will develop wings at some point.  The righteous look at wealth in the same manner as FATHER… as a commodity, a basic manner of interchange among parties which promotes trade and flow thus sustaining life.  When the flow is broken, death and destruction begin to set in.  As those who walk in Love come into full maturity, they will see wealth as a means to promote life in others who are in lack.  As the disciples walked being full of the Holy Ghost, people responded to this flow.  In Acts chapter 4 we find:

32  Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

As we embrace these Truths, our boldness will increase and our days will be prolonged.  Our faithfulness will be rewarded with blessings in all areas of our lives and we will walk without any lack in any aspect.  Our gifts will be fully operational as we are sensitive to FATHER’S directives.  We will navigate through any attempts to prevent us from walking out our calling.  Jesus, our Example, is the full expression of FATHER’S manifested Son.  Even though men conspired to remove Him from the midst of the people, FATHER would not allow His mission to be thwarted.  Neither will ours.

We must not grow faint or weary in our walk as the world around us continues to collapse.  Man’s structures are destined to fall as they are being judged by FATHER.  FATHER told the children of Israel in Exodus chapter 12:

23  “For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.”

All indications point to the destruction of the economic paradigm we current live in and it appears to be an epic event.  Those in power are clueless to the solution to the world’s demise.  FATHER is empowering HIS Sons and Daughters who are reaching full maturity with the answers men and women will be searching out.  We must walk in all assurance and boldness when the fullness of judgment arrives.  The wicked (tares) will perish and the righteous will increase.

Are We Reliable Yet?

Monday, June 13th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT, David wrote in Psalm 25:

14  The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him,
And He will show them His covenant.

The “secret” is HIS intimate, Divine counsel and instruction.  HE directs those who reverence and obey HIS Word.  In Deuteronomy chapter 13 FATHER gave a specific directive:

4 You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.

We should purpose to walk each day obeying HIS Voice and we do that by hearing and responding accordingly.  HE will guide you into a purity in all your actions and those actions will be uncompromising according to HIS Divine character of Love.  You will simply do the right thing no matter how small or inconvenient.  FATHER is looking for those who will obey HIS every command and embrace the SPIRIT behind the command.  In Deuteronomy 13 FATHER begins the chapter describing a test:

1 “If there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he gives you a sign or a wonder,

2 and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods’—which you have not known—‘and let us serve them,’

3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the LORD your God is testing you to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.”

Notice that signs and wonders can mislead you.  This is why I am constantly emphasizing the importance of hearing FATHER in all matters.  If this were not an issue, FATHER would not be warning us about it.  I got caught up in paying to much attention to signs in the 1990’s and went through a severe correction because of the diversion.  FATHER poses a question to us- Do we Love HIM with all our heart and all our soul?  When we obey HIS commands with joy and purity, we can truly answer “Yes”.

In Luke chapter 12, Jesus spoke:

35 “Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning;

36 and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately.

37 Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them.

38 And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

39 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.

40 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

We need to walk in consistent obedience so that we are "dressed in readiness, and are keeping our lamps lit”.  We need to be ready to do the right thing in all instances no matter what it takes.  We must remove the compromise out of our thoughts and actions for we have the choice to do so.  When a contrary thought comes to me, I simply say “I don’t want to think about it” and cast it down.  I am unwilling to dwell on any thought which would move me away from FATHER’S directives.  Paul wrote of this response in 2 Corinthians chapter 10:

5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Has someone wronged you?  Get over it immediately so that you are not hindered in your walk.  FATHER will take care of the other party in HIS Divine Love and correction.  As the above passage in Deuteronomy states, we will be tested to see where our level of obedience to HIM stands.  As we mature in our walk of hearing and responding to HIS Word, we will be given greater responsibility in the Kingdom.

In Matthew 25 Jesus shared the parable of the talents where there were three servants given directives by the Master.  At the conclusion of this parable, Jesus spoke:

29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Daily circumstances test each of us to reveal where we are at in our walk.  Let us listen and obey HIS Voice in all matters so that we will be known as good and faithful servants.  As we become consistent in our walk we will be given more responsibility in HIS Kingdom and our lights will shine brighter.  HE will see us as reliable Sons and Daughters.

Building Up Strength

Sunday, June 12th, 2016

In Proverbs 24, Wisdom speaks:

10 If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.

Why does FATHER have me write these blogs on a daily basis?  They are meant to build us up and strengthen us in the coming days of adversity.  I can attest to you that FATHER is speaking to those who seek HIM and is willing to become a greater part of each person’s daily walk.  If you are having difficulty hearing HIS Voice do not be discouraged but continue pressing in for once you overcome whatever hindrance is keeping you from the clarity of HIS Voice, you will be glad you did.  Each of us has the choice to increase our strength in our known areas of weakness.

Wisdom also spoke in the same chapter:

3 Through wisdom a house is built,

And by understanding it is established;

4 By knowledge the rooms are filled

With all precious and pleasant riches.

The house is “us”.  We all need wisdom, understanding, knowledge which will ultimately result is skill as we exercise those attributes.  Strength requires consistent exercise and nutrition and we must feed our spirits on a daily basis to maintain our spirits.  As you probably realize, I begin the day with an undivided focus on Spiritual matters.  This provides me with a notable advantage over the adversities I deal with throughout the day.

The word adversity means: distress, trouble, narrow, tight, straits, distress ,adversary, foe, enemy, oppressor, hard pebble, flint.  It is anything that would challenge you in a negative sense.  We are to be lights unto the world that is growing in darkness thus we must expect greater adversity as this darkness culminates before our very eyes.

By THE SPIRIT, Jude warned us:

16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage.

17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ:

18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts.

19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

Jude then encouraged us:

20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

As we press in daily we are strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; and we will give thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.   HE will deliver us from the power of darkness for HE has conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.  We must not grow weary but instead continue in a daily manner to increase in Spiritual strength.  Those who continue on this path will be fully empowered and strengthened in the day of adversity.  Their strength will not be small.
