Serving All Men

Wednesday, November 30th, 2016

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 9:

16 For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!

17 For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a stewardship.

18 What is my reward then? That when I preach the gospel, I may present the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel.

19 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more;

20 and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might win those who are under the law;

21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God, but under law toward Christ), that I might win those who are without law;

22 to the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

23 Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you.

I am compelled to write these blogs unto those who are willing to hear.  FATHER prepared me to write and publish these as a part of my calling.  Woe to me if I do not preach or write the revelation given to me!  If I were a volunteer then that would be my reward but instead I have set aside my will that HIS Will be done.  Though I am beholden to no one, I am a servant to all that I might draw men closer to FATHER by revealing HIM in a greater manner.  I am called to tear down idols, customs, and doctrines contrary to that of Jesus Christ being LORD of all.  Not by the physical sword but by the Spiritual sword are we to war against the flesh.

Love is greater than bullets and the anointing is greater than any sickness, disease, or demonic influence.  We must not sit around and be passive observers to a dying world but take up the mantle of spreading the Gospel by any righteous means necessary.  Let us be partakers together in unity of Love.  There are those who are in “stealth” mode and are recipients of the anointing of others.  It is time for those to become active for Christ and quit riding the coat tails of those who have faithfully walked out their calling.  There are many ways to serve Christ and not all are called to the front lines.  Some are called to support whereas others are called to encourage.  Some readers take the time to write words of encouragement and I appreciate each letter we receive.

Jesus Himself spoke the Word “Many are called but few are chosen”.  Those Words came directly from FATHER and we must heed the inferred warning by understanding that many will fail to hear.  Let none of us be counted among those who have become deaf to the Call.  Men and women become complacent, unforgiving, and bitter toward others as though they are entitled to a free ride.  We must not allow such arrogance to be found among us.  Let us begin each day with gratitude for our very existence.  Let us approach each day as being mandated by FATHER to minister HIS Love to all mankind.  Let us serve all of mankind not just a select few!

Receiving Correction

Tuesday, November 29th, 2016

There are times in our lives when we need a “corrective interview”.  By THE SPIRIT Paul brings up this very point in 1 Corinthians chapter 4:

14 I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn you.

15 For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

16 Therefore I urge you, imitate me.

17 For this reason I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere in every church.

18 Now some are puffed up (arrogant), as though I were not coming to you.

19 But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up (arrogant), but the power.

20 For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power.

21 What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?

Everyone has an opinion but FATHER backs up HIS Word in Truth and power.  Unless we are willing to receive correction we will not receive power from On High.  FATHER sent HIS Son to be our primary Example yet many spend no time finding out His ways.  They would rather go down a rabbit trail that leads nowhere, ultimately ending at the point of exhaustion.  Those who have the heart of a father only want what is best for the brethren and it must include keeping Jesus Christ at the center of our consciousness.  What better example than the One Who is the perfect representation of Our Heavenly Father.

A father brings forth life for he plants the “seed”.  He is the protector of life and is given the responsibility to govern the family according to the ways of Our Heavenly Father.  A father has the experience of what works and what produces no return on investment yet those who are immature often do not have ears to hear and eyes to see.  Only when they end up in the “ditch” do they look up and wonder what went wrong.

Paul urged the Corinthian church to at least look to his example for instruction because of his Love for them.  A father cuddles a baby but disciplines the teenage son… by necessity.  Our goal must be to become perfected in Christ with HIS power and anointing as evidence of this perfection.  If the anointing isn’t there yet then we are not there yet.  We must continue toward the goal of full maturity which includes taking on the attributes of being a father to others.  There are many who are puffed up in their knowledge but lack the wisdom to properly deploy that knowledge.  Some will listen to wisdom, others will not.  We must be patient and longsuffering with those who persist in trusting only in knowledge and pray that FATHER opens their eyes to the realization of the need of wisdom and understanding as well.

If we are not producing good fruit or if we appear to be under some form of judgment then we should seek FATHER’S instruction.  If we can’t hear FATHER then we should seek one of those “fathers” who walk in Love and are mature to provide some insight.  Something must change and it is evident that instruction is required.  Embrace change and you open yourself up for blessing by FATHER.  Resist change and you will simply wallow in the mud and be in constant frustration.  It is your choice.

Be Not Lukewarm

Monday, November 28th, 2016

I know many people who are filled with the Holy Spirit and they are good people.  However, many do not have the same fervor for the things of THE SPIRIT they once had.  The cares of the world enter in and cause us to become lukewarm in our walk.  We become complacent and edge into the ways of the world.  These writings are intended to stir you up and  reassess where you are spiritually.  The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 2:

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

It is my earnest desire to do FATHER’S Will and I trust it is yours as well or you would not be reading these words.  The things of the world are temporary and are never able to satisfy men’s souls.  Given that reality, why look to the world to be fulfilled when FATHER has given us the Holy Spirit to instruct us into all Truth?  People become addicted to searching the Internet in order to fill the void that is reserved for FATHER and HIS Holy Spirit.  Men are constantly searching for meaning and fulfillment when it is as close as your prayer closet.

27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

The Old Testament was given by Divine Inspiration of the Holy Spirit for men to record what they heard and saw.  They did not access some physical reference material but instead they accessed the Spiritual realm.  The purpose of the Old Testament is to testify of Jesus Christ, the Messiah.  The overall theme was intended to point to the arrival of the Messiah and to bring us closer to Our Heavenly Father.  The New Testament is the record of the manifestation of the First Begotten Son and the declaration that He is the Door for us to enter through.  Additionally many credible witnesses have testified of His power and authority both before and after His resurrection.  There is further testimony of Jesus sending the Holy Spirit being accessible to all men and women.  I am a personal witness to that reality.  Without any exhaustive research or extensive knowledge, I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit in October of 1971.  By hearing a few simple verses from the New Testament and the laying on of hands, I received.  That night changed the course of my life.

Over the last 45 years FATHER has shown HIMSELF mighty in my life.  I have chosen HIS Word over the counsel of men time and time again without regret.  I am now able to look back and see the destruction and loss associated with man’s wisdom.  The world will throw you under the bus without hesitation.  FATHER Loves us and only seeks to direct us according to HIS Righteousness which leads to life and fruitfulness.

There are times when we must shed/purge the junk supplied to us by the world.  We are not called to isolate ourselves but we are to protect ourselves from the trappings of the world.  Sometimes it is appropriate to simply go back and reread the New Testament while setting aside any and all bias.  We tend to develop doctrines or beliefs over time that are no longer applicable or were never valid to begin with.  We tended to settle for compromise rather than FATHER’S best for us.

We cannot do greater things than Jesus if we are lukewarm.  We must be earnest in our desire to operate in the gifts of THE SPIRIT.  We are only restricted by our hunger or lack thereof.  FATHER is willing to use us in whatever manner we are willing to ask, seek, and knock.

In recent months we have had much Spiritual activity at our house.  There are many doors closing which we have heard in THE SPIRIT as well as many instances of a knocking at the door.  There are doors now closing to seasons of the past and we are now being instructed to enter into another aspect of THE DOOR.  FATHER has been preparing many of us for such a time as this.  Let us be counted among those HE has chosen to bring forth life unto this earth.  In order to be led by THE SPIRIT we must dwell in HIS SPIRIT.  Those who are lukewarm will simply wonder what is happening as we go forth into all the world.  Some will even be blinded to the move of THE SPIRIT.

The Seeds of Expectation

Sunday, November 27th, 2016

What do you want out of life?  What are you drawn to?  The younger a person is, the lower the probability that answers to these questions are truly sought.  FATHER gives us the opportunity to impact our future by revealing a law that is associated with the future.  We are all on a journey through the “wilderness” toward the Promised Land and are told to live in “tents” or temporary dwellings for this physical life in the current state is not permanent.  We are to be witnesses unto all mankind and testify of WHO FATHER IS.  How do we do that?  By planting seeds of expectation.

In Matthew chapter 13, Jesus spoke:

18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower:

19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.

20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;

21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it,who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

What we plant into our hearts are what we become and produce.  We are now seeing this play out over the last four decades with our children in school.  When I was in public school, we bowed our heads and quoted the LORD’S Prayer at the beginning of class each day.  Additionally, we joined in the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States looking toward the flag.  School prayer was removed and you can now see the death and destruction coming forth among the school children.  Metal detectors and police officers were never found in school “back in the day”.  The truth is that eventually what is planted in the heart will produce fruit… good or bad.  If no good seed is planted, don’t expect any good fruit.

These writings are intended to continuously plant good seed into the hearts of those who “therefore hear” and I am the first to hear and receive the good seed for FATHER gives me what to write each day.  Those who have focused on getting the revelation of Love and have protected that revelation by walking in it are surely changing for the better.  My wife bears witness!  Am I perfect?  No, but I am being perfected by FATHER’S Word.

In order for us to be credible witnesses of FATHER we should expect HIS power and authority to show up when we minister in HIS NAME.  As we focus on planting seeds of Love and faith along with earnestly desire the gifts of THE SPIRIT, we should expect a harvest to come forth.  The fruit confirms and testifies of the seed sown.  As we immerse ourselves in these areas of Scripture, our faith will increase because we are continuously sowing the Word into our hearts.  Let us protect these Seeds by not allowing the thorns to enter in.

In Mark chapter 7, Jesus warned:

20 And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man.

21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

22 thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.

23 All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

We can see that in secret some men have planted bad seed yet their actions reveal what has been planted.  If you constantly plant weeds, don’t expect good fruit.  FATHER has given us the law of seedtime and harvest for all to understand.  HE has given us the choice of what will impact our future, both good and bad.  Let us do our part and become the expressed image of HIM by planting the proper seed and developing our faith expecting the good fruit to come forth… one hundredfold.

To Be A True Witness

Saturday, November 26th, 2016

A witness is one who can give a firsthand account of something seen, heard, or experienced.

In Matthew chapter 24 Jesus spoke:

14 “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

In John chapter 1 by THE SPIRIT the beloved disciple wrote:

6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.

8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

In John chapter 8 Jesus spoke:

17 It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true.

18 I am One who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent Me bears witness of Me.”

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 8:

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

In Hebrews chapter 2: 4 “God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will”

In the Revelation of Jesus Christ chapter 3 Jesus is called “the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God”.  We too are called to be a true witness to FATHER for we are also HIS sons and daughters.  A credible witness will convey the Truth in the face of opposition.  We are warned against bearing false witness thus we must earnestly seek and hunger after the Truth in order that we can properly testify by our word, our actions, and our fruit.  Do you believe in Divine Healing?  I can testify as a true witness that FATHER does Divinely heal for HE healed me.  My wife is also a credible witness to FATHER’S miraculous healing.

What better way to be a credible witness than to be used as an instrument of HIS Glorious power.  We are commissioned for such power to be accessible for our ministry to the masses thus we can become credible witnesses to HIS Love and healing power of deliverance from sin, sickness, and demons.  Jesus demonstrated such power and bore witness that HE was the first begotten Son.  The Holy Spirit has born witness to me that I too am a begotten son.  The SPIRIT bears witness with my spirit.  As we hunger, ask, seek, and knock concerning the operation of the Spiritual gifts in our lives, we should expect FATHER to confirm HIS Word through us both with signs and wonders.  These signs and wonders are true witnesses to FATHER presented to the world in order that they would repent from their wicked ways.  The true witness raises the standard and thus the false gods and idols are exposed.  Let us seek to be a true witness and reveal FATHER to all the world!

Being A Witness

Friday, November 25th, 2016

The Beloved Disciple John wrote in chapter 1 by THE SPIRIT:

14  And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The word dwelt means to fix one’s tabernacle, have one’s tabernacle, abide (or live) in a tabernacle (or tent), tabernacle.  Jesus was manifested on earth as a witness or personal representative of Our Heavenly Father to “tabernacle” among us.  The glory of FATHER was witnessed by the multitudes as they encountered Jesus.

15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ”

16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.

17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

John the Baptist bore witness of Jesus for he was shone by Divine Inspiration the SON OF GOD and it was confirmed at the baptism of Jesus.  John was the witness at the beginning of Jesus’ public ministry.  Jesus tabernacle’d or temporarily dwelt among us in order to establish the witness on earth for all to see.  In Matthew chapter 14, Jesus fully represented the Divine Intent of FATHER toward the multitude:

14 And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick.

By being a witness to all mankind of FATHER’S Will and purpose, we are not ignorant of WHO FATHER is and what HIS Divine Intent is toward all mankind.  Jesus proved His credibility with signs and wonders following Him.  No one could deny His witness because of the power and authority by which He operated.  Jesus confirmed His relationship in John chapter 14 when He spoke:

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”

8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”

9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority;but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.

11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves.”

Today, we are called to be witnesses as well and Jesus sent The Holy Spirit to dwell in us in order to empower us to confirm FATHER’S Glory to mankind just as Jesus did.  Very few have truly embraced this Truth as others assumed this power and authority were to be given to a select few.  Jesus did not restrict who could become a viable witness on His behalf for He left the choice up to us.  Those of us who hunger and thirst for a deeper relationship with FATHER are the ones to be chosen as witnesses unto all mankind.  Do you want to become a credible witness with firsthand experience of HIS Glory?  Then join me in full pursuit of speaking and walking according to HIS Word.  In John chapter 20:

21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”

22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

We have been commissioned and authorized to walk in the same manner as Jesus.  Let us come boldly to the Throne and receive our instructions so that we may be fully credible witnesses to all mankind.

Being A Follower Of Christ

Thursday, November 24th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT Matthew wrote in chapter 12:

22 Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.

23 And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”

24 Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”

Jesus had just cast out a demon and was accused of being aligned with satan.  Jesus removed the demon keeping a man from being able to speak and hear but instead of praising Our Heavenly Father, the Pharisees sought to discredit Jesus.  Can you believe how those who want to control others’ lives can be so bold as to challenge the miracles performed before their very eyes?  Their spiritual blindness was truly great.  Jesus spoke:

25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

26 If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?

27 And if I cast out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges.

28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.

29 Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house.

30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.”

The solution to our problems is always found at a higher level than the problem.  Sin and sickness is not resolved at the same level where it occurs or it would not have occurred in the first place.  Man cannot save himself thus he must seek a higher power to save him from his sin.  Miracles are not performed by men but instead they originate from FATHER and men are simply the vessels used by FATHER.  Jesus spent more time healing the sick and casting out demons than preaching salvation.  Why?  The needs of the multitudes were great and Jesus was filled with compassion.  We too should be focused on serving mankind by accessing the Power from Above.  Instead, many have simply become observers of the Gospel rather than followers of Christ and actively walking in His footsteps.

We must not be intimidated by demons, sickness, or disease.  Rather than agree with man’s diagnosis of the problem, we should seek Heaven’s solution to the problem.  Some solutions may require much prayer and fasting but Jesus never spoke of impossibilities.  On the contrary, He provided the solution to man’s problems.  As a follower of Christ we should press in and expect results even greater than what Jesus produced.  Why?  Because Jesus specifically said in John 14:12-14:

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.  And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

Those who are embracing the revelation of Love will most assuredly pursue this declaration.  This is not a time to sit back and watch but instead the time is at hand to be stirred up and rededicate our priorities as followers of Christ.  A follower will pursue that same narrow path that Jesus walked.  We should expect the same fruit to come forth… even greater as our Elder Brother declared.  There are those who will fall by the wayside but it is their choice to allow “the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in to choke the Word”.  My responsibility to those who read this Is to present the choice given to us.  Until the Kingdom of FATHER has fully manifested, there is much for us to do.  Let us be doers of The Word and not hearers only.

Raised To A Higher Level

Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians chapter 6:

12 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

13 Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

14 And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.

FATHER called us to live at a higher level rather than submitting to the cravings or physical desires of the body.  As children many of us sought out cookies and ice cream to the point of excess.  If one cookie was good, two were better.  If we weren’t held back by Mom, we would eat all the dessert before dinner was served.  We were growing boys.  As we mature, we must bring our bodies into subjection and not be moved by any whim or craving for if left unchecked that whim could become a major focus in our life.

The lust of the eyes and the lust of the flesh must be dealt with before either becomes a major issue.  We must not let ourselves be brought under the power of anything which would prevent us from living according to FATHER’S perfect plan, will, and purpose.  We must bring our mind and body into submission and stay away from the door which leads to the path of destruction.  It is better to eat to satisfy hunger rather than satisfy one’s appetite.  We must not become a slave to anything and this is accomplished on a daily basis as we journey through life.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 10:

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

We must be in command of our minds and bodies.  We must bring all things into captivity which would deter us from being raised to a higher level.  The body wants to be in control and have its desire to be fed and to be passive.  The mind wants to be “tickled” by every wind of doctrine and pursue its curiosity and burn up hours of the day.  If either were given control we would no longer mature to a higher state.  We must keep both in submission to our spirit.  In order to be led by THE SPIRIT we must not be led by they mind or body.

Those who live in moderation in both body and mind will inherit “the earth” as Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5.  We must be about OUR FATHER’S business thus we must focus on what matters to HIM, not our body or our mind.  As we restrain the flesh and bring it into submission, we become more sensitive in the Spiritual realm.  As we quiet our mind, we are better able to hear in the Spiritual realm.  In order to “Go into all the world” we must be prepared both physically and mentally to do so.  Let us make sure that our bodies and our minds submit to our Spirit Man where the true power lies.

The Interim Financial Issue

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016

We know the “endgame” of what FATHER is doing by HIS Word.  In the meantime, there is the need to be wise in understanding what the current system is doing.  The following presentation provides an interesting perspective to financial issues around the globe:

THE Call

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2016

The Holy Scripture is not just another interesting read but is a call to action!  Inspired by The Holy Spirit countless men and women prophesied of the arrival of Our Savior and when He arrived full of The Holy Spirit and power, He confirmed The Word with signs and wonders.  Jesus Christ is the manifested Word and He called us to action as well.  Multitudes have read The Word but have not been doers of The Word thus they failed to respond to the calling by The Word.  In Matthew chapter 22, Jesus spoke:

1 And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said:

2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son,

3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come.”

Who restricted access to the wedding?  Not the King.  Every man and woman were given the opportunity to attend yet they were unwilling to heed the Call.  Their interest was not sufficient to set aside all else in order to attend the wedding.  Their priorities lied elsewhere because they were not being led by THE SPIRIT.  The King provided a “second witness” to His attempt to bless the people:

4 Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.” ’

5 But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business.

6 And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them.

Man’s sensual wisdom prevailed and blinded them from being blessed.  They disrespected the King’s authority and power by their actions.  Some were too busy and some were simply wicked and lawless.  The excuses were many but the result was the same- they failed to answer The Call.  The mind would tell you this parable was limited to the call of Israel and it was intended and restricted to the children of Israel.  Wrong!  This parable goes beyond history and applies to this very day.  It is just a relevant today as it was when Jesus spoke these Words two thousand years ago.  FATHER isn’t limiting those who are called, men are by their unwillingness to respond.

7 But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.

9 Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’

10 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.

The King was determined to have the wedding even though many invitations were unfulfilled and rejected.  FATHER has given each of us a calling and HE has also given us the choice to reject that calling.  It is solely up to us how we respond.  Once we make the decision to earnestly seek HIM, the choice becomes so obvious in our eyes versus the alternative.  FATHER is determined to have the wedding AND the guests no matter who rejects HIS invitation.

11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment.

12 So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.

13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

We have another choice to make.  Are we preparing ourselves to attend or do we simply try to do the minimum in order to attend the wedding.  There is a ramification to being unprepared.  If you choose to attend but fail to prepare accordingly, you will not be allowed to stay in the midst of The King.  You will be escorted away from The Glory of the Wedding.  We actually are given two choices in the matter.  Respond to The Call and once we respond, make preparations to fully embrace The Call.  Those who are “chosen” are those who decide to be chosen.  We must quit acting like FATHER places restrictions that most are unable to attain.  FATHER is the limiting factor, our decision to respond is.  Respond and embrace The Call today!
