Acceptance at Face Value

Saturday, December 31st, 2016

By THE SPIRIT it is published in Psalm 107:

20 He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

By THE SPIRIT the Beloved Disciple wrote in John chapter 1:

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 He was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

The Word, FATHER, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, are all in full unity concerning our health, healing, and restoration.  There is no compromise concerning sickness and disease for they are a contrary to the Word and Divine Intent of FATHER.  You cannot separate the Word from FATHER for It is HIS Divine Intent.  We must receive the Word at face value in innocence just as Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 19:

14  But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

The Word has power to those who accept it at face value.  Analyzing the Word to the nth degree will not increase the power contained in that Word but in some cases the analysis will dilute the Word.  Jesus’ Words are not complicated if we will accept them at face value.  He meant what He said.  Yes, there were times He spoke in parables but we He did not make the entire ministry about parables.  The more we tend to mentally dissect the Word there tends to be greater dilution of the intent and power to the point our opinion is interjected.  Let us not compromise the Divine Intent of HIS Word in our lives.

Let us accept that FATHER sent HIS Word to heal and restore us.  Let us not rationalize why it is no longer true because of our current state of health.  Our health is subject to change, not HIS Word.  By THE SPIRIT Isaiah proclaimed in chapter 53:

4 Surely He has borne our griefs

And carried our sorrows;

Yet we esteemed Him stricken,

Smitten by God, and afflicted.

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities;

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.

Accept this Truth at face value and your body will begin to conform to FATHER’S Divine Intent.  Let HIS Word be greater in our life than any sickness, disease, or affliction.  When the leper approached Jesus and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean” did Jesus give him a lengthy dissertation of how the Word works?  No, simply Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.  Nothing else mattered to that leper other than the results Jesus brought by The Word He spoke.  The leper accepted The Word at face value… so should we.

Polarity Is Progressing

Friday, December 30th, 2016

Grays are now being removed as the polarizing of mankind continues- light versus darkness.

Wisdom spoke in Proverbs chapter 25:

4 Take away the dross from silver,

And it will go to the silversmith for jewelry.

5 Take away the wicked from before the king,

And his throne will be established in righteousness.

Many Christians have been taught the “escape” doctrine of the rapture yet FATHER has us pray THY Kingdom come THY Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.  Throughout Scripture is the theme of “polarization”.  The separation of two distinct ways of life.  It all boils down to righteousness versus wickedness.  Jesus’ ministry was polarizing in the sense that He was a light that contrasted darkness.  His ministry was confirmed with miracles of healing and deliverance thus the people had to decide which path they would take.  No longer were they able to live with a multitude of philosophies for Jesus revealed the straight and narrow path for all to see.

In recent years people were threatened with legal action if they did not submit to the “politically correctness” doctrine of men.  Effectively they were to keep quiet about wickedness which has become acceptable and tolerant among those in control of the current system.  The problem is that if Love is not the center of one’s life, he will not separate the person from the sin.  Instead, he simply wants to get rid of the sinful person.  Love is all about restoring the person to FATHER’S Divine Intent and cleansing the person of the wickedness.

For silver to be used in jewelry you must first remove the impurities.  All silver mined from the ground contains dross so you don’t throw it away but instead purge the impurities by fire.  The same is true for gold.  The same is true for mankind.  A king wants to reign over peace and unity in his kingdom thus he will remove or contain the wickedness.

In Matthew chapter 13 Jesus spoke:

47 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind,

48 which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away.

49 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just,

50 and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

The wise man or woman will purge the dross on a daily basis for we are either ascending, standing still, or descending every single day.  Our thought, word, and deed determine where we are each day.  Those who choose to submit to the wickedness begin descending away from the light until they find themselves surrounded by wickedness without the protection of FATHER.  This is true for nations as well.  Once the covering is removed, a nation degenerates in a more rapid fashion.  Thankfully, FATHER’S mercies exceed man’s wickedness and nations can be restored through repentance.

As we ascend in Spiritual maturity, our light shines brighter and the contrast to darkness becomes stark.  The shades of grey fade away to the point where a decision has to be made.  In Deuteronomy chapter 30 FATHER spoke:

15 “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil,

16 in that I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the LORD your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.

17 But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them,

18 I announce to you today that you shall surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land which you cross over the Jordan to go in and possess.

19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;

20 that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

It doesn’t get any clearer than that!

Accept or Reject

Thursday, December 29th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Romans chapter 10:

14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:

“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,

Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “LORD, who has believed our report?”

17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

People who have not heard the Gospel are ignorant of its benefits.  Our responsibility to mankind is to spread the Gospel and give people the opportunity to accept or reject it.  Moreover we are to provide infallible proofs that the Gospel is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  There are a multitude of religions around the world and they have arisen from man’s attempt to understand the spiritual.  Generally those religions end up controlling and manipulating the masses for the benefit of the few who have managed to “work the system”.  They generally promote division and separation from those who do not conform to their way of thinking.  The one ingredient missing is unconditional Love.

A preacher is anyone who publishes, proclaims, or spreads the Good News of Jesus Christ.  You can spread the Good News by your acts and your speech.  Giving to those whom you don’t know is an example of unconditional Love for you have no strings attached when you give.  Most anyone can give to family or to those whom they are associated but to give to someone strictly in obedience to FATHER’S Word or the leading of The Holy Spirit is Agape Love.

If there is anything this earth needs today, it is peace.  As I write this, people are being killed, starved, and exploited all around the globe thus the field is truly white ready for a harvest.  We must take on the mantle of Love and actively pursue the fullness of our calling.  We must set aside anything that would divert our focus at this critical hour.  We can spend an inordinate amount of time researching and exploring topics which simply entertain us or we can “be still and wait upon THE LORD”.

There are those who will allow the cares of the world to enter in but this is the time for us to truly hear FATHER and let our faith become ”great”!  Let our Agape Love abound!  As we do, hope will spread throughout the land.  We must give people the opportunity to accept or reject the Gospel of Love.  It is our mandate.

The Warnings

Wednesday, December 28th, 2016

In Luke chapter 17 Jesus spoke:

1 Then He said to the disciples, “It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!

2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

3 Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.

4 And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”

As I have mentioned in the past: “You become like the company you keep.”  Jesus gives us a stern warning against causing others to sin for there is a definite judgment that will arrive to the person whose motivation leads others to sin.  Over the years I have observed such judgments to come upon certain individuals who were persistent in their actions which did harm to others.  Our words and actions have consequences thus it would be better to say and do nothing than to cause others to have their spiritual walk negatively impacted.

On the other hand if we are the one being offended, we must forgive the person as they repent and seek forgiveness.  Jesus knew that correcting such ingrained motives would require much forgiveness as the person sees the error of his ways.  In many cases it takes time and commitment to correct and remove those things which caused us to sin and negatively impact others.

We must admit we were wrong in order to embrace the Truth.  I look back at the belief system I had at various times in the past and realize how little I knew then and thus I must admit that I still know very little in the overall scheme of things.  This is precisely why I must seek FATHER’S Wisdom, understanding, and knowledge in all matters.  I must be led by THE HOLY SPIRIT throughout the day and I must compare my words and acts to that of Jesus in order to determine if I am a blessing or a hindrance to those I come in contact.

I have been around long enough to witness the reality that man’s wisdom is a temporary fix to the symptom of the problem.  FATHER’S Word and Wisdom is the only Source that stands the test of time.  Often It goes contrary to the world’s current views but in the end, FATHER’S directives will sustain us when the world’s views either change or evaporate under pressure.

The best way to insure we don’t entice others to sin is to continually walk in Love.  There are those who consciously direct people away from FATHER in order to fulfill their own lusts and there are those who provide light to others and help steer them toward eternal life.  Let us be those vessels of honor by which life flows to and through so that all the individuals we encounter have good seed planted in their hearts.

Jesus made it quite clear that there are ramifications to leading others astray.  The stakes are high when you are on a path which affects a great number of people.  There have been ministries in the past which have fallen apart due to the leadership’s persistent path of sin.  FATHER will not allow the sheep to be fleeced indefinitely.  There is a point where longsuffering has come to a conclusion and judgment must be enacted to correct the problem.

In Matthew chapter 5, Jesus issued a specific warning against adultery in the heart:

27 “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’

28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.”

Whatever causes you to move away from FATHER, GET RID OF IT!  That is the message.  If a person persists in drawing you away, you must separate yourself in order to protect yourself from their impending judgment.  You can pray for that person from afar but do not take on their sin by association.  These are critical warnings or Jesus would not have brought them to our attention.  Let us be careful of our words, behavior, and associations for we should let nothing keep us from being a blessing to mankind.

Active Love

Tuesday, December 27th, 2016

The Beloved Disciple by THE SPIRIT wrote in 1 John chapter 4:

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

Most people are sitting around waiting for others to love them before they act.  The general exception is family.  We need to move on from conditional love and walk in unconditional Love if we are to fully mature in Christ.  Unconditional Love does not wait for people to perform in order for Love to act.  Love initiates relationships, healing, and restoration.  For FATHER so Loved the world HE acted and sent HIS first begotten Son for you and me.  Jesus did not sit inside a house having His disciples parade people through and minister to them.  He went forth to where they were at, teaching, preaching, and healing.

Love does not isolate Itself but becomes known by It’s willingness to give and serve others.  At yearend it is always a good time to make an assessment of our walk.  Are we Loving as FATHER Loves us or are we still lacking is some areas?  Are we sharing our resources with others or are we building greater barns for ourselves?  Love flows and nothing should restrict Its blessings to others.

FATHER sent His Son so that we could live through Him and ultimately for Him to live through us to others.  Let us expand our influence in the coming year by allowing greater flow of our gifts, resources, and calling.  Active Love is as a light that cannot be hid under a basket but should become the brightest light around.  This is a simple message that does not need to become complex in order to impact others.

I fully embrace this Word from FATHER and expect Servias to expand this coming year and reach more people.  This is what life is all about.  If you know of people who might benefit from these writings, share our link with them and make them aware of the Good News.

Planning For The Future

Monday, December 26th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT in Luke chapter 12 Jesus taught the parable of the rich fool:

13 Then one from the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”

14 But He said to him, “Man, who made Me a judge or an arbitrator over you?”

15 And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”

16 Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully.

17 And he thought within himself, saying, ‘What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?’

18 So he said, ‘I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods.

19 And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.” ’

20 But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’

21 “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

People plan for a myriad of reasons but it is better to seek guidance from FATHER and keep our perspective in line with laying riches up in Heaven rather than earthly treasures.  There is nothing wrong with saving and planning but it should not be at the expense of our Spiritual wellbeing and future.  Edwin Louis Cole who had a men’s ministry once said “Peace is the umpire of any decision” and I have found this little bit of wisdom to serve me well over the years.  When there is that gnawing conflict deep inside, it is a good indicator that whatever is at issue should be dealt with right away.  It may be time to reverse or alter your course.

Greed frequently causes people to act in a similar manner to the rich fool.  He had his future laid out only to find he didn’t have the future he expected.  This is why I keep directng our focus to being led by THE SPIRIT and spending time with FATHER.  We won’t be disappointed with our lives or our future.  Yes, there will be some who appear to be “living the life” but we must not focus on their temporary good fortune but instead be content with the path FATHER has us on.  We must remember that this world and its systems are not permanent but temporary in nature.  The circumstances existing today will change without notice.  Only FATHER knows how the future will play out so why not simply go to the SOURCE when planning for the future?

Quality Time

Sunday, December 25th, 2016

By THE SPIRIT Luke wrote in chapter 6:

12 Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

13 And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles

Jesus found in necessary to pray all night to FATHER and thus we should not take this time lightly.  He was about to select the twelve apostles among the other disciples.  There were three, there were twelve, and there were seventy who had various levels of disclosure in His earthly ministry.  Jesus Himself said that He and FATHER were One thus He took  His directives from FATHER at all times.  We too must be willing to spend the necessary time with FATHER as Jesus did.  His time with FATHER was not one of drudgery but instead of revitalization.  He prayed all night and was refreshed then ministered all day.

After His selection of the apostles:

17 And He came down with them and stood on a level place with a crowd of His disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem, and from the seacoast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear Him and be healed of their diseases,

18 as well as those who were tormented with unclean spirits. And they were healed.

19 And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for power went out from Him and healed them all.

As we spend more time with FATHER we too will have the necessary resources to minister in a greater fashion.  Let us establish priorities which lay up riches in Heaven for that is our final destination.  WE must not assume that a two minute prayer can satisfy the requirements of each day but let us place priority on spending time with FATHER.  Consider a place without distraction.  If your mind wanders while meditating on the Word then speak to it and realign it with your priority and focus.  If you have a lot going on, write down all the issues at hand so you can clear your mind.  Spending time with FATHER should become our highest priority, not some occasional afterthought.

Jesus did not “accidentally” heal them all, He already knew what to expect by His quality time with FATHER.  Have a blessed Christmas as we celebrate Our Elder Brother on this day as we should everyday.

Expect Miracles

Saturday, December 24th, 2016

Many Believers have been lulled into a passive state by the world’s ways and traditions.  Everyday there is another news cycle that catches the attention of all who thirst for more information and stimulation.  There are those who are in constant search for something new and seek after signs which point to major change.  It was no different when Jesus walked the earth.  By THE SPIRIT John wrote in chapter 7:

25 Now some of them from Jerusalem said, “Is this not He whom they seek to kill?

26 But look! He speaks boldly, and they say nothing to Him. Do the rulers know indeed that this is truly the Christ?

27 However, we know where this Man is from; but when the Christ comes, no one knows where He is from.”

28 Then Jesus cried out, as He taught in the temple, saying, “You both know Me, and you know where I am from; and I have not come of Myself, but He who sent Me is true, whom you do not know.

29 But I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent Me.”

30 Therefore they sought to take Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

31 And many of the people believed in Him, and said, “When the Christ comes, will He do more signs than these which this Man has done?”

Without miracles, Christianity would just be another philosophy.  Because FATHER confirms HIS Word with signs and miracles we know this is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  When the children of Israel were to be led out of Egypt, FATHER performed miracles as evidence they were HIS chosen people.  Elijah and Elisha’s ministries were confirmed by miracles.  Jesus spent as much time healing the sick as He preached the Gospel.  When John’s disciples were sent to confirm whether Jesus was the Messiah, Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 11:

2 And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples

3 and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?”

4 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:

5 The blind see and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

6 And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.”

FATHER is still in the miracle-performing business today.  There are many religions and philosophies of man in this hour but there is only one Gospel of Christ and FATHER will confirm HIS Word with signs and wonders.  HE wants us to be one with HIM where we too will be able to say without any doubt whatsoever “I know Him, for I am from Him, and He sent Me.”

Now is the time reaffirm our priority in being in full unity with HIM.  I expect this coming year to see major changes manifest among those who have been diligently seeking HIS FACE in an uncompromising manner.  We should no longer expect anything less than HIS Miracle Working Power flowing through us to those whom HE places before us.  We must veer not to the left or the right but walk that straight, narrow path into the fullness of Christ in us, the Hope of Glory.
