Abiding In HIS Presence

Sunday, February 18th, 2018

THE SPIRIT wrote in Psalm 91 concerning safety of Abiding in the Presence of Our Heavenly Father:

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”

As we spend quality time reading, studying, and meditating on FATHER’S Word which contains HIS promises to us, we will abide in HIS Presence.  Those who get busy with the world’s priorities and cease spending quality time with FATHER will ultimately distance themselves from HIM and HIS benefits.  Our priorities are determined by our own choices thus we are accountable for our future on this earth.  If we get too busy with the world, we become void of HIS Word in various areas of our life and our faith becomes of none effect.  One of our goals at this ministry is to promote the correct priorities on a daily basis.  Those who read this site daily are embracing the Love walk and are surely increasing in faith resulting in moving toward the safety of abiding in HIS Presence.

9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,

10 No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;

11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.

As we actively acknowledge and stand on HIS Promises, evil will not gain a foothold in our life.  There are those of us who have in some respects failed to stay fully under the shadow of THE ALMIGHTY and we have paid the price.  I look back and reflect on those times when I needlessly dealt with challenges because I got “too busy” and failed to keep proper perspective.  Yes, I paid the price.  I then repented and reprioritized my focus and moved back under HIS Shadow and then said “What was I thinking?”

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

Consider the importance of FATHER’S statement in verse 14.  When you Love somebody, you want to spend quality time with that person.  When FATHER sees our Love for HIM, HE will respond by delivering us in the time of trouble.  It is not out of duty I spend time with FATHER, it is because I Love HIM and am grateful for HIS deliverance from adversity.  HIS Love for me has been expressed over and over throughout my life as HE has protected my from the various attempts by the enemy to bring forth death and destruction.  HIS grace and mercy compensated for my immaturity… thankfully!

What are your priorities?

Let Us Glorify FATHER

Saturday, February 17th, 2018

To glorify means to praise, extol, magnify, celebrate, to honor, do honor to, hold in honor, to acknowledge someone to be excellent.  In Matthew chapter 5, Jesus spoke:

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Our works should glorify Our Heavenly Father and not ourselves.  When man sees our successes and inquires, we quickly give FATHER the glory and honor because without HIS intervention, we would not achieve the results man is acknowledging.  As we celebrate and do honor to FATHER, our light shines brighter with even greater works as HIS vessels of honor.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 1:

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,

23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

We are given the consequences of failing to glorify FATHER.  Man is no longer grateful for all HE has done.  The focus turns to man’s ego and he becomes futile in his thoughts resulting in his foolish heart being darkened.  True wisdom departs resulting in man’s attempt to create alternative doctrines and philosophies to fill his lack of understanding.  Man then looks to worship something he created which is utterly ridiculous.  If and when he finally has his eyes reopened, he will then say “What was I thinking?”  All men worship someone or some thing and tend to give priority and focus accordingly.  Our Heavenly Father is the only ONE WHO deserves to be given the honor and glory and acknowledgment.  Not one person, place, or thing deserves to be exalted above HIM.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 6:

19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?

20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Though Paul was writing about fleeing sexual immorality, this Truth has a broad application.  Shouldn’t I pursue Divine health and healing which in turn will glorify FATHER?  No matter what stage of sickness or disease I am experiencing, shouldn’t I seek FATHER to impart HIS promise of healing and restoration in my life?  Absolutely!  What better way to glorify FATHER than to be able to personally testify of HIS healing power.  Abraham walked in faith and glorified FATHER and then became the father of many nations.  In Luke chapter 13, Jesus ministered healing to a woman:

10 Now He was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath.

11 And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.

12 But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.”

13 And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.

Jesus did not criticize her for having no faith for the past eighteen years, He accepted her where she was at and by His Love for her, He restored her to normality.  There is no doubt that she heard the pure Word of Jesus’ teaching and her faith was energized.  She gave FATHER the glory and was truly grateful to be loosed.  What better way to glorify FATHER than to be a testimony of HIS Love and goodness.  Let us purify our souls with HIS Word as Peter wrote in 1 Peter chapter 1:

22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever

Our Love and faith will mature and produce good fruit for all to see.  As they seek to understand why we are successful, we are given the opportunity to glorify FATHER for all the good fruit coming forth in our lives.  As we act on The Word, HIS Glory will be manifested in us and through us to be lights unto the world.

Our Body Is Subject To Our Faith

Friday, February 16th, 2018

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter 18:

10 And He said, “I will certainly return to you according to the time of life, and behold, Sarah your wife shall have a son.”

(Sarah was listening in the tent door which was behind him.)

11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in age; and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing.

12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, “After I have grown old, shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?”

13 And the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, saying, ‘Shall I surely bear a child, since I am old?’

14 Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

15 But Sarah denied it, saying, “I did not laugh,” for she was afraid.

And He said, “No, but you did laugh!”

Sarah responded in fear to the promise given to Abraham and her.  She was afraid she could not perform because of the current state of her body.  She was old and well passed the age of bearing any children and she was moved by what her five physical senses were telling her.  Isn’t that true for most people today?  FATHER stated HIS Divine Intent to Abraham and Sarah heard HIS Word as well thus the seed of faith was planted in her in spite of her initial fear of failure.  FATHER expected both of them to walk in faith going forward and ultimately Sarah’s fear was overcome by her faith in FATHER’S Word.  Both Abraham and Sarah became unified in their faith in FATHER’S Word.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 4:

16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

The faith of Abraham and Sarah are such a clear examples of the power of great faith.  Once they became unified in their faith, the manifestation of a son was simply a matter of time and neither would waver or allow unbelief to dilute their faith.

18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”

19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Both Abraham and Sarah walked in great faith.  Generally, the focus is on the Abraham but we see that Sarah walked in the same manner.  FATHER would not override Sarah’s choice to accept or deny HIS Divine Intent thus we know she walked in unity with Abraham.

20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,

21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

22 And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

Our circumstances are subject to change as well. Is anything too hard for the LORD?  If HE can bring forth a dead womb to life in an elderly woman, HE can certainly succeed in resolving any issue or condition we may have.  My body does not dictate reality but is designed to respond to FATHER’S Word and HIS Divine Intent of Love.  Our mind must not be allowed to dilute our faith in HIS Word.  We must not accept the knowledge spewed forth by the world’s understanding or lack thereof.  Instead, let us stand on the infallible Word in whatever circumstance we face.  Let us develop great faith as did Abraham and Sarah.  Let us give glory to FATHER as HIS Word comes forth in victory over our situation!

FATHER’S Infallible Word

Thursday, February 15th, 2018

I base my life on the fact that FATHER’S Word is infallible as this is also true for every believer.  The word infallible means: incapable of making mistakes or being wrong; never failing; always effective; unfailing, unerring, guaranteed, dependable, trustworthy, reliable, sure, certain.  HIS Word is the basis for our assurance of salvation as well as the other promises we act upon in Scripture.  Throughout my life, HIS Word has produced good fruit which testifies to Its infallibility.  FATHER spoke to Jeremiah in chapter 1:

12 Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it.”

FATHER confirms to Jeremiah that HE is actively watching over HIS Word to make sure it comes to pass.  Who else has the power and authority to make such a statement?  No one.  For us to mature in our walk, we must act with the assurance that FATHER’S Word is fully reliable to us as individuals.  FATHER assured Jeremiah, and HE will assure us as well.  In 1 Kings chapter 8, Solomon spoke by THE SPIRIT:

56 “Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise, which He promised through His servant Moses.”

For us to exercise faith in HIS Word, we must know HIS promises, and we must fully trust HIM to perform HIS Word.  The children of Israel experienced the results of FATHER watching over HIS Word to perform it in their lives.  They were delivered out of Egypt and were sustained in the wilderness.  HE gave them victory after victory when they entered the Promised Land and Solomon was able to attest to this Truth.  By THE SPIRIT, Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians chapter 1:

18 But as God is faithful, our word to you was not Yes and No.

19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes.

20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

All of FATHER’S promises are “Yes” and “Amen.”  If FATHER has spoken a Word, you can count on it coming to pass.  However, if you don’t know HIS Word, how can you stand on It to be effective in your life?  This is why it is important to study and dwell in HIS Word on a daily basis.  By reading these blogs, you are exposed to HIS Word each day as The Holy Spirit directs me.  FATHER is faithful to provide the focus each day as I seek HIM, typically in the early morning hours.  I trust HIM to awaken me refreshed so that I can begin the day communing with HIM.  Frankly, I look forward to this time as it prepares me for the day ahead.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 24:

35 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.”

Jesus told us that He only speaks as FATHER directs Him and assures us of the permanent nature of FATHER’S Word.  HIS Word will still be true and effective even after Heaven and earth pass away.  What greater emphasis could be given to the infallibility of FATHER’S Word?  FATHER spoke to Ezekiel in chapter 12:

25 “For I am the LORD. I speak, and the word which I speak will come to pass; it will no more be postponed; for in your days, O rebellious house, I will say the word and perform it,” says the Lord GOD.

No matter what the situation, FATHER watches over HIS Word to perform it whether it be judgment or blessing.  In 1 Peter chapter 1, it is written by THE SPIRIT:

22 Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,

24 because

“All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away,

25 But the word of the LORD endures forever.”

Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.

Each of us has the responsibility to purify our soul through FATHER’S Word by obeying the Truth in Love.  To do this, we must trust FATHER’S Word to be infallible and abide forever.  Our redemption is based on this Truth, and as we embrace FATHER’S other promises, our faith will grow to the point where we will be unwavering in our expectation of HIS Word coming to pass in our individual circumstances.  In this regard, nothing will be impossible to those who ask according to HIS Word.

Pursue HIS Ways

Wednesday, February 14th, 2018

Isaiah wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 55:

6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts;

Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him;

And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.

9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways,

And My thoughts than your thoughts.”

We are admonished to forsake our own thoughts and ways and pursue FATHER’S thoughts and ways.  If we are to mature as Sons and Daughters, we must pursue FATHER’S ways.  How am I to represent FATHER if I don’t reflect HIS Divine Intent?  How can I be trusted with power and authority if I don’t know HIS thoughts and HIS ways?  We are called to be in unity with HIM but there is no way for us to achieve unity if we don’t know HIS ways.  FATHER has given us HIS Word and HIS SPIRIT to enable us to pursue HIS ways.

Wisdom wrote in Proverbs chapter 9:

10 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,

And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

11 For by me your days will be multiplied,

And years of life will be added to you.”

Giving FATHER reverence establishes the fact that HIS Ways are higher than our own.  These writings are intended to promote a long life, wisdom, and understanding.  It can only be done by each of us changing and becoming more like our elder Brother Jesus Christ.  As I change internally, the external is affected.  Simply look at Paul who had to change internally before he could positively affect the external.  All of the disciples had to change internally before they could effectively minister.  On the day of Pentecost in Acts chapter 2, the disciples had a dramatic internal change when they were filled with The Holy Spirit.  They continued to mature and were able to effectively spread the Gospel as Jesus directed.

We must forsake the world’s way of living and pursue a life of Agape Love and great faith.  Both are needed and we should have corresponding actions to affirm our walk.  James wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 2:

14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith alone without works save him?

Faith requires corresponding actions to truly be profitable.  James then gives an example of Love without corresponding actions:

15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food,

16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?

Both Love and faith require “fruit” and if you have none, then they are said to be dead and of no profit to you.  It is extremely important to grasp this Truth in order to mature in the nature of Christ.

17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!

20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

A foolish man is empty, vain, and devoid of truth.  Let us not be foolish and think we have Love and faith when there are no corresponding actions as a result.  We must take our eyes off the world and its ways and place our focus solely on FATHER’S ways.  As we pursue HIS ways, we will ascend to a higher Spiritual state resulting in the fruitfulness we all have hoped for in our walk.

Overcoming The Curse

Tuesday, February 13th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Galatians chapter 3:

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Did Jesus need to redeem Himself from the curse of the Law?  No, He needed to redeem you and me from the curse thus the cross was explicitly for our benefit.  We should never downplay the importance of the cross and its impact on our lives.  Paul referenced Deuteronomy chapter 21 in the above passage:

22 “If a man has committed a sin deserving of death, and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree,

23 his body shall not remain overnight on the tree, but you shall surely bury him that day, so that you do not defile the land which the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance; for he who is hanged is accursed of God.”

Jesus did not deserve to be put to death until He took on our sin, the ultimate act of unconditional Love.  How can we deemphasize the importance of such a critical act on our behalf?  This very act should be an important aspect of our expression of gratitude toward Our Heavenly Father.  When Jesus hung on the tree, He redeemed us from death as well as sickness and disease.  He suffered thirty-nine stripes on our behalf and our faith in our healing should equal our faith in our redemption.  However in many believers’ lives, faith in healing seems to be more difficult than faith in our redemption.

By THE SPIRIT, Peter wrote in 1 Peter chapter 2:

22 “(Jesus) Who committed no sin,

Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;

23 who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;

24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

25 For you were like sheep going astray, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Verse 24 expresses both aspects of the cross, our redemption and our healing.  Let us each build our faith up in the latter so that we no longer accept the curse of sickness and disease in our life.  I know how difficult this can be but as I purify my heart and fully accept FATHER’S promises in my life, my faith will grow strong in the area of health and healing.  Instead of having faith in man’s methods, contraptions, and treatments of sickness and disease, my faith will rely on FATHER’S supernatural power to heal the very body HE created.  What a blessing!

Psalm 23

Monday, February 12th, 2018

1 The LORD is my shepherd (Jehovah-Raah); I shall not want.

2 He (Jehovah-Jireh) makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

3 He (Jehovah-Rapha) restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You (Jehovah-Tsidkenu) are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You (Jehovah-Shalom) prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD (Jehovah-Shammah) (Jehovah-Nissi) Forever.

By this Psalm it is clear that David knew FATHER’S redemptive nature of being Protector, Provider, Healer, Our Righteousness, Our Peace, always Present, and Our Covering or Protection forever.  FATHER has not changed since David wrote this Psalm by THE SPIRIT.  This redemptive nature of FATHER is meant for you and me as well.  If we are not operating with this Truth prevailing in our life, then we need to change.  David wrote by THE SPIRIT in Psalm 27:

13 I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.

14 Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!

David had the revelation of faith when he wrote “I had believed that I would see.”  Is it false or a lie for us to proclaim one of FATHER’S redemptive blessings before we see it manifested in the physical?  Did Jesus lie when He told the ten lepers they were healed before their manifestation?  No, on both accounts.  The reality of the Spiritual supersedes the temporary reality of the natural.  Faith requires us to stand on FATHER’S Word rather than what we see, hear, feel, smell, or taste.  FATHER is creative and HIS Divine Intent is as much reality as the end result manifested and experienced by our senses.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 4:

16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

Did FATHER misrepresent reality when HE called those things which do not exist as though they did?  No.  Does HE expect us to call those things HE has promised us which do not exist as though they do?  Yes.  This is what faith is all about.  David was a man after FATHER’S own heart because he walked in faith and understood FATHER’S Promises based on how FATHER described HIS nature by those seven redemptive Names.  When we ask FATHER to manifest one or more of HIS redemptive promises indicated by those Names, we are to believe and doubt not.  Psalm 23 encapsulates the results of FATHER’S redemptive nature.

Avoid Dilution

Sunday, February 11th, 2018

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Psalm 91:

14 “Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him;

I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble,

I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him

and show him my salvation.”

FATHER’S Word is irrevocable and each of us can count on HIS promises stated in Scripture.  As we hear, receive, and stand in faith, we can and should expect HIS Word to come forth in its entirety in our lives.  FATHER does require us to walk in unwavering faith and stand on HIS Word no matter what our senses try to tell us otherwise.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

We could also say “For we walk by faith, not by sight, hearing, touch, smell, or taste.”  Our physical senses want to challenge our faith but we should not succumb to the temporary nature of the physical.  Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians chapter 10:

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ

FATHER’S Word and HIS promises are true, trustworthy, and reliable to those who are willing to stand on them in faith and walk on a foundation of Love.  The world has diluted the faith of many of the brethren and has caused their faith to be compromised.  Persistent exposure to the world’s ways will cause us to be weakened unless we protect our hearts by spending quality time in The Word and prayer.  We must cast down any argument that challenges FATHER’S Word to us and not allow anything to exalt itself above HIS promises to us.  We must maintain our obedience and comply with the blessings Jesus provided us at the cross.

Should we comply to a lower authority than Jesus Christ?  Absolutely not!  Let us renew our minds by The Word and not allow any lower authority to dilute the pure Word in our lives.  Do not allow man’s teachings, opinions, or perverted doctrines to enter in and dilute your faith in the words of Jesus or FATHER.  FATHER’S Divine Intent toward us is Love and HE has only our best interest at heart.  As we avoid dilution, our faith will grow strong.

FATHER’S Promises

Saturday, February 10th, 2018

A promise is a declaration or assurance that one will do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 4:

13 For the promise that he would be the heir of the world was not to Abraham or to his seed through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

14 For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect,

15 because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression.

16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

Our entire belief system as Christians is based on the fact that FATHER’S promises are fully reliable and trustworthy and as a result, we have exercised our faith based on HIS promises.  You and I exercised a measure of faith when we received salvation, one of the promises of FATHER.  We believed the reality of Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and that He was resurrected from the dead and sits at the right hand of FATHER today. Our faith resulted in a manifested change in our lives.

17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”

19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,

21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

22 And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

When Our Heavenly Father spoke to Abraham, HE called those things which did not exist as though they did.  Did FATHER lie?  No, HE made a promise or oath to fulfill HIS Word given in the Spiritual realm to be manifested in the physical realm.  HE is able and willing to perform each and every promise spoken to us in HIS Word.  Unlike man who makes empty promises and has no power to bring them forth, FATHER is not a liar.  Notice that Abraham did not waver at the promise through unbelief.  Our unbelief in FATHER’S Love and willingness to perform on our behalf is a fundamental reason why we do not receive answers to our prayers.  Our minds want to see to believe rather than exercise faith in HIS Word.

Abraham was strengthened in faith as he gave glory to GOD and he was not moved by his body or the deadness of Sarah’s womb.  Why?  He truly believed FATHER WHO called those things (their bodies) which did not exist with the ability to reproduce, as though they did.  FATHER is THE CREATOR and will change the physical to match the Spiritual.  The physical is temporary and does not have preeminence over the Spiritual thus when FATHER gives us a promise, HE is able to exceedingly perform HIS Word on our behalf.

Faith trusts HIS promises over what our senses can detect.  Our five physical senses are designed to provide us with knowledge of the natural but faith operates in the supernatural and is not confined to the current temporary situation.  Let us not allow our physical senses dictate our future through unbelief in FATHER’S Word.  Let each of us be strengthened in faith and give glory to FATHER for those promises HE has provided out of HIS Love for us.
