The Mystery Of All Mysteries Revealed

Monday, April 30th, 2018

People thrive on a mystery which often involves a conspiracy.  People buy millions of mystery books each year to satisfy their desire to have mysteries revealed to them.  There are always twists and turns and we find the unexpected at the end of the book.  The most important mystery of the ages occurred in Paul’s time- the mystery of Christ.  Paul speaks of this mystery in Ephesians chapter 3:

1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles—

2 if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,

3 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already,

4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ),

5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:

6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel

Paul in essence was also a mystery writer after having the revelation of the mystery be made known to him.  We too can become “mystery writers” by walking in the revelation of Our Lord Jesus Christ toward others.  As we become immersed in the writings of Paul and others in the New Testament, we will become fully equipped to share the mystery of exceeding, great riches of FATHER and how others can have access to those riches which have been hidden before their very eyes.  Paul further wrote:

8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;

10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,

11 according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him

We now have full access to the manifold Wisdom of Our Heavenly Father.  By Love, HE has opened up our eyes of understanding so that we can deal with the principalities and powers thus we are no longer subjected to their devices if we will only walk according to the mystery revealed to us.  It is imperative that we study and dwell on all aspects of this mystery so that we can walk according to the revelation given to us by HIS Love.

14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—

19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us

The mystery centers around Agape Love and if we will seek to comprehend all facets of this Love, we will be filled with the fullness of FATHER.  There is a “mysterious” power associated with Agape Love which enables us to operate in a power which gives us the ability to receive what is beyond the greatest of our expectations.  If you like to solve mysteries, this is the ultimate mystery.  Let us continue our pursuit.

His Payment For Our Past

Sunday, April 29th, 2018

We must let the past go for the accuser of the brethren, the devil, will attempt to keep us there in order to impair our walk and calling.  We also must let go of the past of others who have negatively affected our lives.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 6:

5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,

6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.

8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.

If our old man has been crucified with Christ, then we must not allow our old acts to be brought up against us any longer.  We must also forgive others of their past acts against us.  In essence, we must truly believe and accept the purpose of Christ’s death and resurrection as it applies to us.  Whenever we have unforgiveness, we compromise our walk.

When people live in the past, they are effectively digging up their old man and allowing the accuser to prevail in their lives.  I cannot go back to various events and situations and rectify them according to the Law.  When Jesus bore all of my sins, His righteousness righted my wrongs once and for all for His act made me a new man, old things are passed away.  We must fully accept this Truth that we have been freed from sin by His Blood and are no longer slaves to sins of our past.

By THE SPIRIT, Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

16 Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation

Quit beating yourself up over your past and give no place to the devil when he tries to condemn you of your past acts.  Don’t hold a grudge against others who have victimized you in some manner.  If old things are passed away, don’t try to resurrect them and hold on to them.  Don’t hold the past over someone’s head and try to obtain some sort of compensation for a past wrong.  Jesus made this point in Matthew chapter 7 when He spoke:

1 “Judge not, that you be not judged.

2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?

4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye?

5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

The accuser wants to manipulate you by using the past against you.  If we let go of the past, then we cannot be manipulated.  Let Love prevail in our willingness to forgive past acts of ourselves and others so that we don’t lose our focus on our purpose for Christ’s payment was sufficient in all areas of our life.

Extent And Outreach

Saturday, April 28th, 2018

Jesus spoke in John chapter 14:

12  I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach], because I am going to the Father.

Jesus set a clear expectation of our ministry toward others in the above passage.  Our ministry to others should be expanding in one way or another.  If nothing else, when you share these writings which exalt Jesus Christ without limitation, you are expanding the extent and outreach of the Good News of Jesus Christ in Love.  We are not here to condemn the world but to minister life to all those who have ears to hear.  We have the potential of ministering to all the nations from this very site through the Internet.  Do you believe these writings to be true?  If so, you should actively spread these writing to those who are willing to receive direction from you.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 1:

18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power

20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

There is more available power in the name of Jesus Christ than any source of power on earth.  Its only limitation is our lack of understanding of how to tap into this power in a righteous manner.  The spiritual is greater than the physical in all respects.  If we seek FATHER in the fullness of Love, HE will impart the wisdom and understanding as well as the knowledge and skill required to operate in HIS mighty power.  In order to walk in the fullness of Love, we must have corresponding acts of Love, not in word only.  Even if we are dealing with our own afflictions, we should not allow our situation to keep us from ministering to others.  As we minister the Word, even our oppressions by the devil will depart for there is life in the Word and it overcomes all who are oppressed by the adversary.

In 1 Corinthians chapter 6, Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT:

20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

If my body is GOD’S, then I should glorify HIM in all areas of my life.  If I am sick, I should focus on healing Scriptures and immerse myself in them until I have recovered.  I will then have a testimony to share with others of HIS glorious healing power in my life.  This is one way we overcome the devil- by the word of our testimony.

He called us to do even greater things than Him and that would seem like an overwhelming command if we are unprepared.  We should focus on whatever resources we have at our disposal to satisfy His expectation and deploy those resources accordingly.  Do we really need bigger storehouses which are temporal in nature?  You may say “I don’t have a storehouse.”  You do have “time” and doesn’t it really belong to FATHER?  Let us extend ourselves on behalf of the Kingdom and reach out to those in need of salvation and healing.

Testing Our Sincerity

Friday, April 27th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 8:

8 I speak not by commandment, but I am testing the sincerity of your love by the diligence of others.

9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.

10 And in this I give advice: It is to your advantage not only to be doing what you began and were desiring to do a year ago;

11 but now you also must complete the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to desire it, so there also may be a completion out of what you have.

People make resolutions all the time but many fail to complete their commitment.  Jesus set a standard of giving through His acts of Love toward us and has provided the means for us to rise to His standard.  If we were tested in the sincerity of giving, would we pass the test?  Are we diligent to fulfill our commitments to give with whatever means we have at our disposal?  Some may say “I don’t have the money”, then give time.  Other may say “I don’t have the time”, then give money.  Yet others may say “I don’t have either”, then ask FATHER to provide both.  Paul states in the next chapter:

6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

9 As it is written:

“He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.”

10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,

11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.

FATHER provides seed for the sower thus HE expects the sower to give liberally to those in need.  If we sow sparingly, we will reap sparingly.  These are FATHER’S Words not mine.  Let HIM convince you of HIS promise for I know HIS promise is true and my family has lived by HIS promises for decades.  It requires faith to get beyond the mindset of scarcity and as long as a person can keep his or her focus solely on the spiritual side of promises, the promises designated for the current physical realm will not be realized.  FATHER does not exclude the physical in HIS promises and HE expects us to rise up and walk in the same manner as our Elder Brother.

Is FATHER looking for excuses to why we can’t be cheerful givers when HE has clearly stated that HE is Our Provider?  HE is looking for us to build up our faith and expect HIM to provide our needs in an abundant manner… only believe!  The Word is not complicated and we need to place our trust in HIM that HE will do what HE has committed to do in HIS Word.  How sincere are we in our commitment to rise up to Christ’s standard?  Will we pass the test of sincerity?

Walking In Self-Control

Thursday, April 26th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Galatians chapter 5:

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

The fruit of self-control was the last one listed though it is as needful as the others.  Without it, your testimony could be compromised by those who are observing your walk.  Self-control becomes easier as we gain a greater revelation of Love for self-control is required when things are not happening as expected.  When our expectations are not met and adversity comes our way, self-control keeps us from responding in a manner unbecoming of one who walks in Love.  Those who lack self-control often embarrass themselves and others when dealing with adversity.  Paul expressed this issue in earlier verses:

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Have you ever regretted your words and/or actions after having been exposed to some type of adversity?  Before you knew it, you acted in an undesirable fashion and immediately you were convicted by THE SPIRIT of your words and actions.  This battle with the flesh rages on inside of us but be of good cheer, as we walk in a greater revelation of Love, we will have less and less occurrences requiring us to repent.  Why?  The fruit of self-control is now expressed in our walk and our flesh is finally coming under submission to our spirit.

If self-control was not an issue, THE SPIRIT would not have Paul write about it to the churches at Galatia.  Lack of self-control provides each of us with a barometer of our progress in our pursuit of “walking in THE SPIRIT”.

Paul also provided a detailed list of the fruit of the flesh:

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,

20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,

21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Within this list are envy, hatred, contentions, jealousies, and selfish ambitions.  These works tend to be more subtle than the other works of the flesh.  People can often hide selfish ambition from others for a period of time.  The ego will attempt to use any weakness in our personality to its benefit thus we need to be brutally honest with ourselves when we assess our fruit.  Since Love is the foundational fruit, we must never allow ourselves to grow lax in our production of this valuable fruit.  As we continuously plant the Word in us, our faith in our walk with FATHER will strengthen.  We will grow more sensitive to THE SPIRT and begin responding to the leading of THE SPIRIT rather than our own logic and reasoning.  We will grow more comfortable in being led by THE SPIRIT and the fruit we produce will confirm it.  People will see the change in us.

Love will produce change is us and will result in greater self-control.  Internal peace will prevail even though chaos is all around us.  We will no longer be moved by the circumstances and people will begin to look to us for solutions to the chaos at hand.  Our self-control will encourage peace in them.

Setting Our Love

Wednesday, April 25th, 2018

The Psalmist wrote by THE SPIRIT in Psalm 91:

14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

When we enjoin and cleave to Our Heavenly Father in Love, HE will deliver us out of all our troubles.  As we exalt and honor FATHER in our words and acts, we can expect FATHER to intervene in our daily affairs and protect us from those who would do us harm.  We can expect miracles to follow us as we pursue The Way of Jesus Christ and thus we will be known as overcomers to all who observe our walk.

What is an overcomer?  It is one who has committed his or her walk to become a mature son or daughter of GOD and has turned away from the ways of the world.  Our focus has moved away from the world’s trappings and has turned to the commandments of Love and overcoming faith in the integrity of FATHER’S Word.  Our guidance comes from Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We are increasingly led by The Holy Spirit and only desire to do FATHER’S perfect Will.

As we walk in The Way, the Truth, and the life, we begin to expect miracles to occur in our daily lives.  A miracle in an expression of Love by FATHER to us and it transcends the common course of nature.  When we pray, aren’t we expecting FATHER to perform a miracle thus intervening in the common course of the situation we find ourselves in?  I can attest that when I prayed the sinner’s prayer, the course of my life changed and FATHER performed a miracle in me.  Further, when I was baptized in The Holy Spirit, my walk and my priorities took a dramatic change from the path I was on.

By being in this world, we will deal with troubles, afflictions, and challenges. yet FATHER has provided a clear solution to overcome anything contrary to HIS Word.  It is such a simple decision yet man’s ego tries to make it complex.  When trouble comes our way, FATHER urges us to call upon HIM and HE will answer us and deliver us out of our trouble.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 10:

11 For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.”

12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;

13 for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.”

FATHER has abounding riches for all who call upon HIM.  Those riches are not restricted and limited to the spiritual but also include the physical.  As we set our Love on HIM, we open up HIS storehouse in Heaven to bless us in our endeavors.  We cannot “out Love” Our Heavenly Father for HE wants us to prevail in all areas of life.  Just as we want our children to do great things and make a positive impact in their area of focus, moreover, FATHER wants us to reflect HIS Love and make a difference in people’s lives.  FATHER will sustain us in all areas as we walk according to HIS Way.  As we are led by THE SPIRIT, we will be satisfied with blessings and long life.  We need to simply set our Love upon HIM and allow HIM to direct our footsteps on a daily basis.

Miracles, The Differentiation

Tuesday, April 24th, 2018

What differentiates us from the religions of the world?  Our Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ are in the miracle-working business.  In Matthew chapter 28, Jesus spoke:

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

And in Mark 16:

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 “they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Jesus committed to be with us always and confirm His Word with miracle-working power.  Miracles draw the multitudes to hear the Gospel for those miracle confirm the Word is truly from Our Heavenly Father.  Men cannot deny miracles resulting from teaching the Gospel and praying for the sick.  James wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 4:

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

For us to flow with FATHER in HIS miracle-working power, we must draw near to HIM and increase our faith by hearing and dwelling on HIS Word.  It must not only be in our head, but in our heart as well.  HIS Word should become our first response in any situation, not a secondary consideration when the natural fails.  How do we draw near to FATHER?  By giving HIM our time and attention.  This is one reason I start the day by studying HIS Word.  I want it to be the foundation of each day before I hear the world’s noise.  Abraham, Moses, and Noah were not encumbered with technology and receiving a multitude of differing views of life as we are today.  They became men of great faith.  As we separate ourselves unto FATHER, HE will draw near to us and as a result, we will come to expect HIS miracle-working power to flow through us.

Our faith must overtake any doubt of FATHER’S willingness to bring forth miracles in our lives and in the ministry toward others.  As our faith increases, we will come to fully expect confirming miracles when ministering to others.  Jesus spent 3 1/2 years preparing disciples by teaching them the Word with confirming miracles.  When He sent the seventy in Luke chapter 10, they came back with success- Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”  We are never given details of who they were but we know that the ministry was not limited to the original twelve disciples therefore we should expect similar results.

We are called to live above the natural and no longer be subject to the natural progression of the world’s ways.  FATHER has provided The Way of His Son to lead us into the supernatural.  Let us draw nigh unto HIM and expect HIS power to flow not only to us but through us to minister to a hurting world.  This separates us from man’s religions and philosophies for it provides proof that The Way of Jesus Christ in the only way unto FATHER.

Love By Actions

Saturday, April 21st, 2018

John wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 3:

16  By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

17  But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

18  My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

There are many who study The Word and go to meeting yet they are only willing to give to others when it is convenient and they have an abundance thus requiring no faith.  Instead, we should be giving when the Holy Spirit directs us even though our logic and reasoning would dictate otherwise.

Sometimes, FATHER will direct us to give primarily for the purpose of blessing the other person whereas other times, HE will direct us to give in order to reveal the true state of our heart.  If we are directed to give and withhold then our lack of trust IN HIM is manifested for us to acknowledge.  If we give grudgingly, then our faith in FATHER’S ability to provide is in question.  However, if we give with a cheerful heart, then we are pleasing to FATHER.

At any rate, we will reveal the Truth of what is in our hearts when we are presented with a situation where someone is in need.  Thankfully, Our Lord Jesus Christ had no hesitation in manifesting the Love of Our Heavenly Father when He gave His life to meet our need of redemption.

Let us give with the proper intent and not allow the doctrine of scarcity to keep us from expressing Love to one another.  FATHER has plenty of resources at our disposal if only we will believe and trust in HIS provision.  HE is more than willing to distribute to us for us to further bless those in need.  This is the ministry of Love in action.
