Miracles, The Differentiation

Tuesday, April 24th, 2018

What differentiates us from the religions of the world?  Our Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ are in the miracle-working business.  In Matthew chapter 28, Jesus spoke:

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

And in Mark 16:

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 “they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Jesus committed to be with us always and confirm His Word with miracle-working power.  Miracles draw the multitudes to hear the Gospel for those miracle confirm the Word is truly from Our Heavenly Father.  Men cannot deny miracles resulting from teaching the Gospel and praying for the sick.  James wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 4:

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

For us to flow with FATHER in HIS miracle-working power, we must draw near to HIM and increase our faith by hearing and dwelling on HIS Word.  It must not only be in our head, but in our heart as well.  HIS Word should become our first response in any situation, not a secondary consideration when the natural fails.  How do we draw near to FATHER?  By giving HIM our time and attention.  This is one reason I start the day by studying HIS Word.  I want it to be the foundation of each day before I hear the world’s noise.  Abraham, Moses, and Noah were not encumbered with technology and receiving a multitude of differing views of life as we are today.  They became men of great faith.  As we separate ourselves unto FATHER, HE will draw near to us and as a result, we will come to expect HIS miracle-working power to flow through us.

Our faith must overtake any doubt of FATHER’S willingness to bring forth miracles in our lives and in the ministry toward others.  As our faith increases, we will come to fully expect confirming miracles when ministering to others.  Jesus spent 3 1/2 years preparing disciples by teaching them the Word with confirming miracles.  When He sent the seventy in Luke chapter 10, they came back with success- Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”  We are never given details of who they were but we know that the ministry was not limited to the original twelve disciples therefore we should expect similar results.

We are called to live above the natural and no longer be subject to the natural progression of the world’s ways.  FATHER has provided The Way of His Son to lead us into the supernatural.  Let us draw nigh unto HIM and expect HIS power to flow not only to us but through us to minister to a hurting world.  This separates us from man’s religions and philosophies for it provides proof that The Way of Jesus Christ in the only way unto FATHER.

Love By Actions

Saturday, April 21st, 2018

John wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 3:

16  By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

17  But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

18  My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

There are many who study The Word and go to meeting yet they are only willing to give to others when it is convenient and they have an abundance thus requiring no faith.  Instead, we should be giving when the Holy Spirit directs us even though our logic and reasoning would dictate otherwise.

Sometimes, FATHER will direct us to give primarily for the purpose of blessing the other person whereas other times, HE will direct us to give in order to reveal the true state of our heart.  If we are directed to give and withhold then our lack of trust IN HIM is manifested for us to acknowledge.  If we give grudgingly, then our faith in FATHER’S ability to provide is in question.  However, if we give with a cheerful heart, then we are pleasing to FATHER.

At any rate, we will reveal the Truth of what is in our hearts when we are presented with a situation where someone is in need.  Thankfully, Our Lord Jesus Christ had no hesitation in manifesting the Love of Our Heavenly Father when He gave His life to meet our need of redemption.

Let us give with the proper intent and not allow the doctrine of scarcity to keep us from expressing Love to one another.  FATHER has plenty of resources at our disposal if only we will believe and trust in HIS provision.  HE is more than willing to distribute to us for us to further bless those in need.  This is the ministry of Love in action.

I Am The Truth

Thursday, April 19th, 2018

Jesus stated in John chapter 14:

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

That is a bold statement and Jesus knew such a statement would require confirmation in a manner so compelling that no one would be able to question His integrity.  Otherwise, He would be just another promoter of some religious sect.  How did Jesus confirm His Word?  He performed miracles, wonders, and signs.  In Act chapter 2, Peter spoke by THE SPIRIT:

22 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—”

Jesus’ birth was a miracle, His ministry was one of miracles, and His resurrection was a miracle.  What separates the Truth from the religions of the world are miracles confirming the Truth sent to us by FATHER through His Holy Son.  The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 3:

8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

How did Jesus destroy the works of the devil?  By performing miracles and reversing the curse brought on by the deception of the devil.  This is exactly why Jesus proclaimed “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”  The miracle-working power of the Gospel restores mankind to FATHER and we must no longer settle for anything less.  Jesus expects us to believe and trust in Him and His Word concerning miracles.  In Mark chapter 16, Jesus spoke:

15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

The early church embraced this commission and we see the results throughout the Book of Acts.  There have been moves of The Holy Spirit in the 20th century where ministries fulfilled this Great Commission.  Isn’t it time for us to rise up and press in to continue this Great Commission?  Are we willing to believe the Words of Jesus and walk according to His commands?  Did His commands have a time limit or restriction attached?  Not in any manner.  Those of us who seek to mature in Christ and fulfill the call to sonship must not let Jesus’ commands go unanswered in the time we live in.  We must remember that Love acts on behalf of FATHER and the only way we will have true credibility with the lost is by signs following.

Our faith should grow to the point where we expect miracles.  We should expect FATHER to confirm HIS Word.  We should expect Jesus to be with us as we preach the Gospel.  In Matthew 28, Jesus stated:

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Let us expect the Truth to come forth and be with us as we go forth in His Name.  Let our faith grow to the point where we expect Jesus to be with us as miracles confirm His Word.  Those miracles will be a testimony to The Truth.

Relying On HIS Word

Wednesday, April 18th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 1:

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

And the Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in John chapter 20:

30 And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book;

31 but these Words are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

And in Ezekiel 12, FATHER spoke:

25 For I am the LORD. I speak, and the word which I speak will come to pass; it will no more be postponed; for in your days, O rebellious house, I will say the word and perform it,” says the Lord GOD.’ ”

When FATHER speaks, we should listen and act accordingly.  Is there any other source able to compare with FATHER’S Word?  Absolutely not, yet many people express more faith in men who are so-called experts than the Word of GOD.  We have no issue in taking a pill that our doctor prescribes because we have faith in his education and experience.  Shouldn’t we have greater faith in The Word which has prevailed for thousands of years?  The Amplified version of Romans chapter 1 provides expresses more detail”":

17  For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed in a way that awakens more faith]. As it is written and forever remains written, “The just and upright shall live by faith.”

In order for us to live a more productive life, we must grow our faith in the most reliable source- FATHER’S Word.  It is not enough to read the entire Bible once and call it good.  FATHER tells us how to live abundantly in Proverbs chapter 4:

20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.

21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;

22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.

23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

In this passage, we are given a specific mandate which is beyond a casual study of HIS Word.  FATHER expects us to act on HIS Word in order for us to live a blessed life.  In HIS Word are the solutions to every problem that we will face if only we will put HIS Word as the first priority in our life.  If we want an overcoming life, then we must set our priorities according to FATHER’S instructions.  This is not a casual request of a secondary nature, but a command by The ONE WHO Loves us and desires that no harm comes our way.

Our Redeemer and Deliverer has given us the key to overcoming all of life’s obstacles but many have chosen to look to the world instead.  Let us repent and move into FATHER’S perfect Will and plan today.  Let us give the proper attention to HIS Words and incline our ears to HIS sayings.  Let us keep our heart with all diligence so that the life force originating from FATHER will flow out of it.  Let us place our full trust in HIS Word today and we will go from faith to greater faith.

Made Alive For Good Works

Tuesday, April 17th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 2:

1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air (Satan), the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,

3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

Paul identifies Satan as the one who motivates the children of disobedience which included you and me when we were separated from FATHER.  The devil used our mind and flesh against us when we were among the sons of disobedience.  Knowing this, we must be careful to not allow logic and reasoning to supersede FATHER’S Word in our lives.  Common sense is “common” in the world, not in the Heavenlies, so we must be led by THE SPIRIT in all matters in order to walk according to FATHER’S perfect will.  FATHER through HIS Son Jesus has made us alive and able to walk according to THE SPIRIT but it is up to each of us to draw near to HIM.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

We must understand the reality that we are FATHER’S workmanship and were created in Christ for good works.  FATHER intends for us to walk in those good works so it is up to us to embrace this Truth on a daily basis.  HIS great Love made us alive in Christ so we should not think it difficult to walk according to HIS SPIRIT.  FATHER is kind toward us so we should not think it impossible to rise up and sit together with Christ Jesus.  Though common sense would challenge this reality, we must not allow our minds to restrict us in this manner.  Our faith should expect results in what the world calls impossible.  If FATHER was willing to provide us the gift of grace by HIS great Love, HE is also able to raise us up if we are willing to believe.

HE expects us to grow in faith so that we will walk in the fullness of good works.  He prepared us beforehand which means HIS Divine Intent was imparted into each of us as we were formed in the womb.  HE then gave us HIS Word so that we would be able to embrace HIS Divine Intent here on earth.  HIS Great Plan of redemption was implemented and included each of us so that we now can fulfill our individual, unique callings.  By THE SPIRIT James wrote in chapter 4:

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Though we have been redeemed by the Blood of The Lamb, the devil will continue to challenge us in our daily walk.  We must resist him and he will depart our presence as we draw near to Our Heavenly Father.  As we draw near to FATHER, our hearts become pure and we also become one with HIM.  Our minds become our servants as we command our focus to be on FATHER’S Divine Will for our lives.  As we meditate on HIS Word, our hearts and minds are cleansed of any worldliness keeping us from fulfilling our mandate.  We are no longer walking according to the course of the world, but are now alive IN HIM and bringing forth good works on behalf of The Kingdom.

Proof Of Our Faith

Monday, April 16th, 2018

Faith is expressed in action once The Word resides in our heart.  Those in unbelief may acknowledge the existence of one of FATHER’S promises to us, but they do not trust and fully rely on HIS Word.  Their minds have a greater trust in their senses and what the world says to them.  James wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 1:

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

We are given a key to walking in faith- continue in The Word.  In the Amplified Version of verse 25, “But he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully abides by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favored by God in what he does [in his life of obedience].”

I cannot overemphasize the importance of meditating on The Word each day.  When in the wilderness, the children of Israel had a daily reminder of FATHER’S promises when they looked at the pillar of smoke during the daytime and pillar of fire at night.  They received manna for each day’s consumption thus they were given the opportunity to build up their faith in preparation of entering the Promised Land.  The younger ones were more receptive since they had little of the world’s ways to be removed.

In chapter 2 of James:

20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

Once we receive the Word in our hearts, there must be corresponding action to complete the work of faith.  Some people will hear a message on faith, mentally agree with it, and then act out an action resulting in failure.  They fail because The Word was not yet in their heart and they were attempting to “work the system” rather than truly walk in faith.  We must hear, dwell, and meditate on FATHER’S Word in order for it to be firmly planted in our hearts.  Sometimes it occurs quickly and other times it takes longer, depending on the condition of our heart.  Jesus explained the issues of receiving The Word in our heart in Matthew chapter 13:

18 “Therefore hear the parable of the sower:

19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.

20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;

21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares (and distractions) of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it (and grasps it), who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

It is my deepest desire for all who read these writings become fully established in faith by Love.  The world is in desperate need of the good fruit produced by those who have matured in Christ.  There is no other solution to the issues at hand, whether they be personal or worldwide in nature.  Our success in resolving issues set before each of us depends on our commitment to growing our faith to the point of having “great” faith.  The proof is in our actions.

Abraham’s Example

Sunday, April 15th, 2018

In Genesis chapter 15, FATHER spoke:

1 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

2 But Abram said, “Lord GOD, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?”

3 Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!”

4 And behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.”

5 Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”

6 And he believed in the LORD, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.

Abraham was in his mid eighties when FATHER spoke to him concerning Isaac.  Sarah’s womb was dead but that did not keep FATHER’S promise of a son from coming forth.  Abraham heard The Word from FATHER and was willing to exercise his faith in The Word despite what he experienced with his five physical senses.  Paul wrote of Abraham’s faith In Romans chapter 4:

16 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

18 who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”

19 And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory (, praise, and honor) to God,

21 and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.

22 And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

Abraham considered not his own body nor was he moved by Sarah’s age and condition.  He spent years confessing FATHER’S Word and giving FATHER the glory, honor, and praise before the manifestation of FATHER’S promise arrived.  Abraham’s body responded to his faith first for he fathered Ishmael at the bequest of Sarah.  Over the next thirteen years, her faith grew until the restoration of her womb was manifested.  She heard FATHER’S Word often as Abraham gave FATHER the glory for HIS promise of a son with Sarah.  She went from little or no faith to great faith.

We must not consider our current circumstances to be permanent but allow FATHER’S Word to work in us and produce great faith.  There is no better day than today to begin building our faith.  Let us consider not our five physical senses but let us stand on the integrity of The Word and the redemptive act of Our Lord Jesus Christ as our foundation for building our faith.  Let us not waver at the promises found in The Word concerning our situation.  Let our mouth be filled with praise, honor, and glory directed to Our Heavenly Father and expect the manifestation of HIS promise to come forth, nothing wavering.

The Seven I Am’s

Saturday, April 14th, 2018

The Beloved Disciple expressed the Gospel of John from the revelation of Love.  He recorded the Words of Jesus in a manner to lead us into the fullness of walking as mature Sons and Daughters.  In the final chapter of this Gospel, Jesus introduced the 153 fish which happens to represent the Sons of GOD.  Each Gospel depicts a different facet of Our Lord Jesus Christ thus none should be deemphasized.  However, in the Gospel of John we find a progression of who Jesus is in relation to our advancement toward full maturity.

John 6:35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

We are to feed on Him and “eat” His Words so that we will be sustained in our walk.  As we take communion which effectively deals with our hunger and thirst, we reflect on who He is to us.

8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

We will no longer be blinded but will be able to see and receive revelation of walking according to FATHER’S Divine Will and purpose.  This will allow us to grow and mature so that we can ultimately fulfill our purpose.

10:9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

There is only one way to peace and fulfillment and Jesus proclaimed Himself as that door by which we can enter into true peace.

10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

Jesus expressed His Love for us and His willingness and desire to give His life for us.  This involves His active intercession for our good.

11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.

He has overcome death so that we too will overcome death.  He provided the means for us to have eternal life and be fully reconciled to Our Heavenly Father.

14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

This sixth reference sums up His ministry of reconciling and restoring us to FATHER.  The way is narrow and there are no alternate means of reconciliation.  Because we can see the light of the Gospel, we have the confidence or our restoration.  We rest in the confidence of eternal life and know that death has lost its sting.

15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Once we have progressed into maturity through Christ, we are to bear much fruit.  In order to bear an abundance of fruit, Jesus Christ must be preeminent in our thoughts and actions.  We must not allow ourselves to grow cold in the revelation of these seven “I am’s”.  We received the gift of righteousness because of Christ’s work at the cross so let us exalt Him in all that we think and do as mature Sons (and daughters) of GOD.
