Revenge

Wednesday, June 20th, 2018

FATHER spoke in Leviticus chapter 19:

18  Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.

The spirit of revenge is a subtle issue among many.  The world promotes a competitive attitude among the people to the point of taking advantage of anyone when given the opportunity.  When someone cuts you off in traffic, how do you respond?  When someone beats you to the open register at the checkout in a grocery store, what rises up?

Professional sports promote dominance among the fans and when the team suffers a loss against a fierce competitor, the fans seek revenge.  The next encounter is often coined a “grudge” match in order to incite the fans.  Where’s the Love?

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 12:

17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.

18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.

When we live in Love and peace, our spirit man is not preoccupied with repaying someone who has wronged us.  We have all had our share of events where men and women have done evil things to us, intending to inflict harm in some manner.  We must not allow ourselves to repay them ourselves but allow FATHER to avenge the wrongdoing.  It makes our life simpler and allows us to focus on doing good rather than entering in to evil ourselves.

Jesus had the greatest justification for revenge when He was falsely accused, but FATHER used the situation for our benefit in the end.  He could have called a legion of angels to evoke wrath toward His accusers yet He remained silent.  When we are wronged, let us not allow our flesh to rise up and begin looking for ways to “right the wrong”.  Instead, let Love prevail in our hearts.

On Our Behalf

Tuesday, June 19th, 2018

By THE SPIRIT, it is written in Isaiah 52:

13 Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently;

He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.

14 Just as many were astonished at you,

So His visage was marred more than any man,

And His form more than the sons of men;

The above passage described Our Lord Jesus Christ and what He suffered on our behalf.  At the point in which we fully understand this act of Love, we will no longer be subject to sickness in our bodies.

Did He deserve to suffer this unbearable punishment?  Not in any way, but because of the Love of Our Heavenly Father for us, HE gave His Son who submitted His body for all the sicknesses and diseases of mankind.  Let us dwell in the revelation contained in this passage until it permeates every aspect of our being.

This passage describes reality, not theology or doctrine.  The adversary would like this passage to have never been written so that we would stand on it when we develop symptoms of a sickness or disease.  We need not suffer when Christ has already paid the price.  We are righteous through Him.  Peter understood this revelation as he wrote in 1 Peter chapter 2:

24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

The Word heals us and recreates us so we should place preeminence in The Word when we confront sickness and disease.  FATHER’S Divine Intent is for us to live completely healthy just as we desire our children to live in the same manner.  HIS Love provided a means for us to overcome any obstacle in life if we will only place our priority in studying and meditating on HIS Message of Love.  In it are the solutions to all our problems if we will only believe and doubt not.  Once we have comprehended and responded to what He did on our behalf, we will surely want to convey this benefit to those who are also in need.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:

7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Sickness and death are spiritual conditions manifested in a physical body.  When our spirits have been restored by HIS Word, our bodies will respond.  We must not allow unbelief to impede our restoration.

Men place their faith in the world’s answers to disease by taking medications.  Why not place our faith in FATHER’S long-term solution HE gave us through HIS Love for us!  Why not begin trusting HIM and HIS Word for our healing!  Am I telling you to quit taking your medicine?  No, FATHER will instruct you when you are ready to cease the medication.  In the meantime, begin dwelling and meditating on Christ’s sacrifice for us until you become fully immersed in HIS sacrifice on our behalf.  That Word will manifest in your body and then you will no longer have any need for man’s solutions.  Your doctor will be amazed at your recovery and you will have a glorious testimony to share with others.

Alive In Christ

Monday, June 18th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 6:

4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,

6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.

Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him

9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.

10 For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.

11 Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Sense Knowledge is an enemy to faith.  When we continually feed our senses, we subtly build our trust and reliance on the world’s ways and methods.  Today’s technology is designed to enslave us and constantly retain our focus.

When we make a decision to focus our attention on Christ and identify with Him, our faith grows strong.  We have been given a Book of Love by FATHER known as the Bible and we should specifically focus on the revelations contained in the New Testament.  Love should be our intent and faith should be our words and associated actions.

Jesus provided us the standard for our walk as well as unfettered access to Our Heavenly Father.  Yes, our old man died with Him at the cross, but now we are a new creation and old things are passed away.  We now have the potential residing on the inside of us to do greater things than we thought possible.

What is keeping us from changing the potential into reality?  The realization that we truly live with Him and are now alive in Christ.  We need to exercise our faith and claim our rights for we now have power-of-attorney to demand the same results as Jesus when He walked the earth.  He gave us this right by His resurrection on our behalf and making us alive with Him.

An aspiring overcomer is one who has been given the potential but not yet fully walking in it.  Until we deal with whatever unbelief is left in our soul, we will remain in this category.  Jesus made this point in Matthew chapter 17:

14 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying,

15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water.

16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”

17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.”

18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”

20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

21 However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

The difference between our potential and manifesting the maturity of being a Son or Daughter walking in the fullness of FATHER’S Divine Intent, is unbelief.  We must overcome this unbelief by properly directing our focus to what really matters.  It has become clear that these writings are not for the casual Christian but is directed to those who truly want to mature in Christ and become expressions of FATHER’S Love toward mankind.

Faith acts, hope defers to the future.  Those who constantly focus on signs and prophecy will only be observers of what FATHER is doing.  Those who develop their faith will be in the midst of FATHER’S business.  If you constantly focus on signs, the adversary will be happy to steer you away from the walk of faith and keep you as a babe in Christ.  You will be given signs to perpetuate your immaturity and will walk past those in need while you feed your soul with hope only.

We must walk in faith to overcome the adversary and minister life to those around us.  Hope is like a fruit tree with leaves and no fruit.  It only seems to promise some future fruit which never happens.

Let us embrace our inheritance and be alive in Christ, walking as He walked, ministering as He ministered, and expressing our faith by works.  This is what will establish the Kingdom of GOD on earth.

One With Christ

Sunday, June 17th, 2018

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Galatians chapter 2:

20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Jesus Christ became one with us in sin that we may become one with Him in righteousness.  He had no need to go to the cross for Himself but in an act of unconditional Love, He suffered and died for us.  Yet this isn’t the end, He arose from the dead for us as well.  He became one with us in death that we may become one with Him in life.  In order for us to fully mature as Sons and Daughters of GOD, we must embrace the latter aspect of this Truth as much as the former.  We are truly one with Him and as a result we are one with each other.  We are His Body.

Paul also wrote in Ephesians chapter 2:

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us

5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

We have been given the expressed right to sit together with Christ Jesus in heavenly places so let us embrace this Truth and take our position without hesitation.  No, we did not earn the right but it was freely given to us out of HIS Love for us for we were formed in the womb for this purpose.  The adversary wants to keep us from taking our rightful inheritance in the heavenlies.

Jesus died to make us live.  He became sin to make us righteous.  He became weak to make us strong.  He suffered shame to give us glory.  He went to hell in order to take us to Heaven.  He was condemned in order to justify us.  He was made sick so that healing would be ours.  He was cast out of the presence of Our Heavenly Father that we would be able to come into HIS presence.

In Jude:
24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling,

And to present you faultless

Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,

25 To God our Savior, Who alone is wise,

Be glory and majesty, Dominion and power,

Both now and forever.

Amen.

We are truly one with Christ and we must not let any thought convince us otherwise.

Our Purpose

Saturday, June 16th, 2018

What is FATHER’S Divine purpose for each of us?

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 2:

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

We have been placed here at this time for good works and we should progressively walk in them as we mature in Christ.  Our fruit should be a testimony to others and our words should confirm our good works at all times.  In addition, our thought life should line up with our word and deed which can be the most challenging aspect of our walk.  We constantly see and experience lawlessness but we must not be moved by such words and actions of people.  Jesus experienced the same environment and yet He came not to condemn the world but to be a light in the darkness.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in The Revelation of Jesus Christ chapter 18:

1 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory.

2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!

3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”

The term “Babylon is fallen” means it is in the fallen state now and rest assured that is the case in these times.  The merchants’ greed and quest for more have sacrificed the masses for money.  The current system is extremely fragile and there is much discussion about a monetary “reset” because of the global debt.  At the same time, lawlessness and perversion of the Truth are reaching new heights among the masses.  The unclean has been redefined as “clean”.  The “foul” has become acceptable by many.  In these times, it is imperative that we walk by THE SPIRIT yet not condemn the world but do our part as Sons and Daughters to save the world.

Brother Eby wrote:

It is my conviction that all who treasure the beautiful hope of sonship will agree that the manifestation of the sons of God, the next great move of God in the earth, must be one hundred percent the work of God.  But it cannot be one hundred percent God’s work when there is still ninety percent of us, or eighty, forty, ten, or even one percent of us.  If the expression of God that is coming will be “Jesus and me,” then you will also give the glory to “Jesus and me.”  But if it is Christ alone, I may be the vessel, you may be the vessel, but the manifestation and the excellency of the power shall be of God and not of us.  So much manifestation has been “God and us.”  Our drive, our holiness, our spirituality, our faith, our commitment, our dedication, our prayer, our fasting, our ability, our wisdom, our strength, has been mingled with SELF.  But today the Spirit is saying, “We have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power, the glory, the authority, and the majesty may be of GOD” — Christ in us become the totality of wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption, power, and glory — and not of us.  How can it be of us, when we have become nothing?  That is the mystery of Babylon — mixture and confusion.  It is always human wisdom and the strength of the flesh trying to work for God!  But God shall now be glorified in us and through us, by Jesus Christ.  Truly coming out of Babylon means asking the Holy Spirit to enable us to make the ultimate commitment to become totally nothing, that HIS FULLNESS be found in us!  -End Quote

Amen!

Personal Testimony

Friday, June 15th, 2018

One year ago today I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer at the Foley Regional Hospital while on vacation at the beach in Alabama.  At first, the cardiologist thought I had congestive heart failure due to the excess fluid in my body.  After seven tests in 24 hours and draining 1.8 liters of fluid off my left lung, they identified the problem.  The cardiologist remarked that even though I was within days of death, due to my runner’s heart and lungs, I survived.  The previous three years I had completed four half-marathons (13.1 miles).  Needless to say, my family was shaken.  While in the hospital, I was prepared to die and was at full peace.  However, FATHER spoke to me and told me I would live and not die.  Then HE said, “Do exactly what the doctor says.”

There have been previous events where FATHER healed me miraculously but this was going to be a different restoration.  We returned home and our next door neighbor (a VA physician) recommended a particular oncologist thus we made an appointment.  At the first appointment, the doctor took one look at me and wanted to immediately walk me over and check me into the hospital.  I went in the next day for a battery of tests to confirm the diagnosis in Alabama.  I then went through four months of chemotherapy and lost about 55 pounds.  Frankly, I looked pathetic but was not moved by what I saw.  Throughout this process, I always had peace about doing whatever the doctor ordered.

During every appointment with the doctor, after reviewing my blood work, he would comment that I was doing much better than he expected… without exception.  I began gaining weight and looking better.  In January, I went through a stem cell transplant which was supposed to take 20 days in a quarantined wing at OU Medical Center, but I responded better and faster than the doctor expected.  I left in 17 days.  My old red and white blood cells were killed and I received my harvested stem cells which facilitated my body building brand new red and white blood cells.  I had a “rebirth” on January 10th, old things passed away.  I continue to gain strength and my blood work is totally normal with no signs of the myeloma.

What did I do to facilitate my quick recovery?  I spend time every morning listening to healing Scriptures thus planting FATHER’S Word concerning healing in my heart.  I do not dwell in fear, uncertainty, or doubt concerning FATHER’S Word, I know what HE said.

Why did I get cancer after living a healthy lifestyle, taking supplements, exercising, etc.?  The adversary attempted to remove me for the fifth time since 1984.  Each time FATHER intervened in some manner and I am truly grateful.  FATHER showed me where I was negligent in dwelling in HIS Word in the area of healing… of course HE was right.  Why didn’t I get healed right away?  My faith was not strong enough at the time.  There are times we need great faith when life-threatening issues arise.  It is clear I didn’t.   HE told me several weeks ago that the reason I was to do exactly what the doctor said was because “HE Loved me and needed to sustain me while I was building up my faith”.

There are those who look at healthy people and say “They don’t know what I am going through!”  I am sharing this testimony to show the readers of this site that we can overcome extreme adversity with FATHER’S help.  We don’t need to fear cancer or death.  We need to put our trust in Our Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit, and everything will work out for HIS Glory.

I believe that I am one of the most grateful guys you know.  Also, what the world has to offer has no appeal because my joy comes from above.  Love is what life is all about and there is great clarity when you are days from dying.  Hopefully this testimony will encourage you if you are confronted in an overwhelming situation as I was.  The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in the Revelation of Jesus Christ, chapter 12:

10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

PS:  My oncologist believes in Divine Healing too.

Follow His Steps

Thursday, June 14th, 2018

By THE SPIRIT, Peter wrote in 1 Peter chapter 2:

21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:

22 “Who committed no sin, Nor was deceit found in His mouth”;

We are specifically told to follow the steps of Jesus and if we were unable to follow His steps, FATHER would not have instructed us to do so.  In the past, many of us were taught that we are sinners saved by grace yet The Word teaches us we are a new creation as Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Who are we going to identify with, The Holy Spirit, Our Comforter, or a preacher who wants to keep us in submission to his guidance and control?  As for me, I am a follower of Christ and with great joy will walk and follow in His footsteps.  Are not the Sons and Daughters of GOD instructed and encouraged to fulfill the work of Christ on earth?  In order to do this, we must take on the Words of Jesus in thought (intent), Word, and deed.  If deceit rises up in our mind, let us cast it out immediately before it takes hold and activates logic and reasoning of why it should remain.  In order to do this, we must know The Word and utilize It to combat those vain imaginations which evoke fear, uncertainty, and doubt.

In order to walk in this manner, we must know The Word and keep It before us day and night.  We should not allow the trappings of the world to take precedence over our quality time with FATHER and HIS Word.  By THE SPIRIT, James wrote in chapter 1:

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

How simple is the directive by FATHER.  We must choose to walk in the same footsteps of HIS Son and we will become like Him in all aspects of our life.  We will be blessed in everything we do.  The key is to change our expectations based on The Word rather than some past preaching.  The devil would try to reason with us why we can’t walk like Jesus but we must cast down those vain imaginations which would deceive us if possible.  Deceit began the death process in Adam thus let us remove deceit from the midst of us to promote the life process.  Jesus has shown us The Way so let us continue in His Words and deeds.  Let us follow His steps.

Who Do You Identify With?

Wednesday, June 13th, 2018

The world wants us to identify with some person, institution, sports team, etc. steering us away from identifying with Christ.  When I was young, I was a Dallas Cowboys football fan and wanted to emulate various players who were successful.  I even had a team jersey with one of the players’ number on the back.  I wanted to be like the player and hoped to achieve success in similar fashion.  But now my priorities have changed, I purpose to identify with Our Lord Jesus Christ, our Elder Brother.  As I align myself with Him and in Him, I take on His nature and characteristics.  Identifying with Christ is far superior than another person, institution, or team.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 2:

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

The world attempts to put peer pressure on us to identify with someone or something other than Our Lord Jesus Christ yet they cannot offer eternal life nor the fruitfulness of THE SPIRIT.  Their alternatives are always temporary by nature.  The world cannot offer life but only offers a perception which promotes and exalts “self”.  “Self” wants to project success by identifying with someone else who has achieved success as though their success will somehow transfer to us and change us into some superstar.  Paul wrote in Romans chapter 6:

5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,

6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

Let us direct our focus to fully aligning ourselves with Jesus Christ in His current state of being alive and living unto GOD.  Let not the old man redirect our attention to past worldly identifications but let keep our hearts from being misled.  When we consider the goal of our maturing process as Sons and Daughters, it is not to become some worldly superstar, we are to be counted among those who have fully taken on Christ and all His attributes.  Let us exalt Jesus Christ in both word and deed.  We will then walk in the fullness of Agape Love.  The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 4:

17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

When we fully identify with Christ, Love is perfected in us and “As He is, so are we”.

Love’s Intent

Tuesday, June 12th, 2018

FATHER speaks to us in Jeremiah chapter 33:

3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

Every Word FATHER speaks reveals HIS Character and Divine Intent whether HE speaks It to Jeremiah, Israel, Jesus, you, or me.  HE does not change HIS Word depending on who HE is talking with at the time.  You can trust HIS Word wherever you find It in Scripture.  FATHER is constantly revealing HIMSELF to us as well as mysteries hidden until now.  We simply must have ears to hear and not allow unbelief to enter in.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 7:

7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?

10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?

11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”

Notice that FATHER awaits your request, or petition, to answer you according to HIS Word, Will, Purpose, and Nature.  If HE says anything, HE means it.  Jesus clearly states FATHER’S willingness to give to HIS children as He gives the analogy of an earthly father and son.  We can attempt to complicate matters by analyzing the above passages or we can simply believe HIS Word at face value.  I choose the latter.  We need not attempt to reason away the revelation contained in the above passages, simply believe.

Men, women, and children of all walks of life are intended to believe the Words of Our Heavenly Father expressed through Jesus.  Our mental capacity does not improve our ability to believe.  In fact, some who are highly intelligent have difficulty in the simplicity of the Gospel.  Their logic and reasoning are so developed, they have difficulty in submitting to the spirit man inside them.

FATHER Loves each of us the same no matter what our mental capacity is for HE created us all to be unique in our gifts and callings.  HE Loves you just as much as HE Loves me and will meet each of us where we are.  HE will answer our petitions according to HIS Word and will deploy HIS unlimited resources to fulfill HIS Word toward us.  HE is never too busy to answer each of us.

HIS Law applies to all but moreover HIS Love applies to all.  Even the most nefarious person can receive salvation because the Blood of Jesus and the Love of FATHER is greater than all the sin committed by such a person.  Let us see each person we encounter as a potential believer.  That person is one decision away from becoming a new creation,  the old man passing away.  Let us see Love’s Intent in the same manner as Jesus looked upon the people with compassion.  Let us not be reluctant to pray for FATHER stands ready to hear us and respond to us in Love.

Renew The Mind

Monday, June 11th, 2018

Jesus Christ is Our Redeemer and Our Healer for His work on the cross removed the veil from us being able to stand before FATHER and receive from HIM.  It is solely because of Him that we receive answers to prayer, not by our own works.  Unanswered prayer is not due to FATHER’S inability to answer but the problem lies within us.  In John chapter 14, Jesus speaks to us:

12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

Our unbelief in Jesus Christ’s redemptive power specific to each of us will hinder our prayer results.  When we come to FATHER in Jesus’ Name, we must not let unbelief enter in.  What causes unbelief to those who once walked in faith?    James wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 1:

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

When we are no longer a doer of The Word, we begin to focus on the world and its solutions to our problems.  When problems arise, we have three options: do nothing, seek the solution from the world, or seek FATHER in Jesus’ Name for the solution.  Which option do you find yourself taking?  When our prayers go unanswered, our flesh tells us to seek the world’s solution as an alternative rather than to seek FATHER and find out where the problem lies.  If we start trusting the world, then our trust in FATHER wanes and becomes diluted.  At some point we forget what kind of person we are.

How do we correct the problem?  Wisdom tells us in Proverbs chapter 4:

20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.

21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;

22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.

23 Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.

We must once again renew our mind by spending quality time in The Word.  I have had to do this more than once in my own walk and I suspect I am not alone.  I know people who once walked in great faith yet they now have succumb to the ways of the world.  These days people want instant solutions and often become impatient if their solution does not come right away.  Their mind has been programmed to become impatient by the world’s current but ever-changing standards.  Our trust in The Way of Jesus Christ must remain strong for us to be able to receive answers to the issues confronting us today.  We must trust in His redemptive and restorative power, not the world’s alternatives.  By THE SPIRIT, Paul reminds us in Romans chapter 1:

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

We are transformed by the renewing of our mind and this is not a one time event.  Let us seek FATHER daily and exalt Our Lord Jesus Christ with our lips above all.  We must not allow ourselves to be conformed to this world and give it priority over our relationship with Jesus Christ.  Let us repent if we have become lukewarm in our walk and let the fiery Word burn away the wood, hay, and stubble we allowed to enter in.
