Today’s Prayer

Saturday, December 7th, 2019

Today’s Prayer directed to each of you found in Ephesians chapter 1:

17 I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know him through your deepening intimacy with him.

18 I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones!

19 I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power 20 that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the heavenly realm! 21 And now he is exalted as first above every ruler, authority, government, and realm of power in existence! He is gloriously enthroned over every name that is ever praised, not only in this age, but in the age that is coming!

22 And he alone is the leader and source of everything needed in the church. God has put everything beneath the authority of Jesus Christ and has given him the highest rank above all others. 23 And now we, his church, are his body on the earth and that which fills him who is being filled by it!

Amen

I suggest you ponder each word in the above prayer for The Holy Spirit expressed these Words from FATHER’S Heart.  These Words are HIS Divine Intent for each of us to walk by on a daily basis.

The Secret Place Part 4: Being Energized

Friday, December 6th, 2019

The result of our persistence and abiding in the Secret Place is stated by Paul by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 1:5 “Your faith and love rise within you as you access all the treasures of your inheritance stored up in the heavenly realm. For the revelation of the true gospel is as real today as the day you first heard of our glorious hope, now that you have believed in the truth of the gospel.”

What is the purpose of having those treasures here on earth?  We are to do the works of Jesus.  Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2 Corinthians chapter 10:

3–4 For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide. 5 We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. 6 Since we are armed with such dynamic weaponry, we stand ready to punish any trace of rebellion, as soon as you choose complete obedience.

Because of our time in the Secret Place with FATHER, we are empowered to bring every thought into captivity that is contrary and defiant of the true knowledge of GOD.  Our mind must become a servant to our spirit and kept in full obedience to FATHER’S Word and Divine Intent for our lives.  When this happens we become energized with Divine Power for the pulling down of strongholds where people hide themselves.

Demons will try to convince us of something that is not true in order to deceive us into acting amiss of FATHER’S Word.  We must prepare ourselves for the times ahead when the “lying wonders” become rampant and attempt to deceive everyone, even the elect.  We must be able to discern Truth even when it appears that the observed “facts” would challenge our spiritual understanding.  The deceptions which lie ahead are directed toward the mind, will, and emotions thus will come across to many as reality.  Only those who have taken into captivity every thought contrary to The Word will be able to properly discern what is happening.

Paul also wrote in Colossians chapter 3:

3 Christ’s resurrection is your resurrection too. This is why we are to yearn for all that is above, for that’s where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honor, and authority! 2 Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm.

Our thought life should reflect Heavenly realities.  If we are easily distracted by the natural realm, then we are in need of more time in the Secret Place to reset our priorities.  I am the only one who can assess whether I am easily distracted.  It is up to me to fill my thoughts (set my mind) with the Heavenly realities given to me by The Holy Spirit and spending time in the Secret Place under the shadow of My Heavenly Father.

Holiness requires separation and the Secret Place is where you and I can experience the Presence of Our Heavenly Father on a consistent basis for The Holy Spirit resides on the inside of us, not in some distant temple built by man.  As each of us lives a “separated” life, the level of energized power grows within us and we become fully confident to deal with the challenges set before us.  The demons will recognize us just as they recognized Jesus and Paul.  They will depart from our midst and no longer rule over people’s lives with whom we come in contact.

When our spirit is united with The Holy Spirit, then we are walking in the Divine Nature.  1 Corinthians 6:17 expresses this Truth: But the one who joins himself to the Lord is mingled into one spirit with HIM.  Let us embrace this reality as we walk out each day.  The devil does not want us walking in the Divine Nature and will attempt to deceive us in any way possible to keep us from that union.

The Holy Spirit expressed through Paul in 2 Corinthians chapter 11:

13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

Our ability to discern will be heightened and we will be able to rightly judge the intent of those who claim to be ministers of righteousness thus we will not be led astray by their doctrines.  When we put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts, we are no longer subject to the devices of the devil no matter what form those devices take on.

The Holy Spirit warns us in 2 Timothy chapter 3:

3 But you need to be aware that in the final days the culture of society will become extremely fierce and difficult for the people of God. 2 People will be self-centered lovers of themselves and obsessed with money. They will boast of great things as they strut around in their arrogant pride and mock all that is right. They will ignore their own families. They will be ungrateful and ungodly.

3 They will become addicted to hateful and malicious slander. Slaves to their desires, they will be ferocious, belligerent haters of what is good and right. 4 With brutal treachery, they will act without restraint, bigoted and wrapped in clouds of their conceit. They will find their delight in the pleasures of this world more than the pleasures of the loving God.

5 They may pretend to have a respect for God, but in reality they want nothing to do with God’s power. Stay away from people like these! 6 For they are the ones who worm their way into the hearts of vulnerable women, spending the night with those who are captured by their lusts and steeped in sin. 7 They are always learning but never discover the revelation-knowledge of Truth.

Doesn’t this passage accurately describe what is happening all around us?  It is critical for us to walk in the power of The Holy Spirit so that we are not deceived in any manner.  Let us be fully energized as we dwell in the Secret Place so that we are adequately prepared each day to deal with this broken world.

Our Secret Place Part 3: Persistence

Thursday, December 5th, 2019

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 7:

7 “Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. 8 For every persistent one will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he longs for. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door.”  TPT

FATHER honors persistence.  To persist means to continue steadily and firmly in the pursuit of any path or course; to abide.  Why do we need to persist in the Secret Place?  As we spend time there, we change to a higher state of maturity.  Once we have changed sufficiently to receive what we ask, FATHER will joyfully respond to our requests.  HE will not give or respond to anything which will move us to unrighteousness resulting in distancing ourselves from HIM.  Jesus clarified this when He spoke in Matthew chapter 6:

33 “So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly. 34 Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.”  TPT

Jesus also expressed this Truth in John chapter 15:

5 “I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless. 6 If a person is separated from me, he is discarded; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire to be burned.

7 But if you live in life-union (abide) with me and if my words live powerfully (abide) within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. 8 When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are my mature disciples who glorify my Father!  TPT

Many immature believers want the benefits of fruitfulness without the commitment required to receive.  In FATHER’S great grace and tender mercy, HE will sustain us as we mature but at some point expects us to no longer be as children being tossed to and fro.  The more time we spend in the Secret Place, the more we abide in HIS Word and place it above anything promoted by the world.

Jesus warned “when you live separated from me you are powerless.”  In other translations, “without Me you can do nothing.”  Why should we continue in life in a powerless state?  The average person living in the world feels powerless to effect any change beneficial to him and his family.  He feels like a pawn or a servant to the current system without any hope.  This is not true in The Kingdom where Love, faith, and hope prevail!

Paul understood the importance of the inner man becoming dominant over the mind and body when he was led by The Holy Spirit to pray in Ephesians chapter 3:

14 So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah, 15 the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth. 16 And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.

17 Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.

18–19 Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God!

Our persistence in reaching maturity has a reward surpassing anything and everything we could pursue on earth and unlocks the unsearchable riches in Heaven.  Jesus is the Door and Love is the key.  As we persist into full maturity as Sons and Daughters, we will bring those riches to earth and be a blessing to mankind.  Agape Love will begin to cover the earth and destroy the wickedness in Its path.

Our Secret Place Part 2

Wednesday, December 4th, 2019

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1 Thessalonians chapter 3:

19 Never restrain or put out the fire of the Holy Spirit. 20 And don’t be one who scorns prophecies, 21 but be faithful to examine them by putting them to the test, and afterward hold tightly to what has proven to be right. 22 Avoid every appearance of evil.

23 Now, may the God of peace and harmony set you apart, making you completely Holy.  And may your entire being—spirit, soul, and body—be kept completely flawless in the appearing of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. 24 The one who calls you by name is trustworthy and will thoroughly complete his work in you.

There is an implication in the context of verses 19–20 that we put out the Spirit’s fire when we scorn prophecy. Prophecy is a valid gift of the Holy Spirit needed by believers today. There is no place in Scripture or in church history that indicates the gift of prophecy has ceased or disappeared. It is an active function of the Holy Spirit today, especially in our secret place.

We must not ignore, despise, or scorn any true gift of the Holy Spirit. Putting out the fire of the Holy Spirit (v. 19) is connected to scorning the prophetic ministry.  What does the word scorn mean?  It is the feeling or belief that someone or something is worthless or despicable; contempt.

We need prophets and prophecy to keep the fire (inspiration) of the Holy Spirit burning in our hearts.  Prophecies encourage us as we continue our walk on the path known as The Way.  Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians chapter 13:

8 Love never stops loving. It extends beyond the gift of prophecy, which eventually fades away. It is more enduring than tongues, which will one day fall silent. Love remains long after words of knowledge are forgotten. 9 Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, 10 but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away.

Eventually, we will not need to pray in Tongues nor will we need prophecy.  When the fullness of Agape Love is operational in our spirit, mind, and body, the partial will no longer be needed and will fade away.  For the last fourteen years, FATHER has instructed me to focus on Agape Love and write on the expanding revelation HE is giving for the benefit of those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

FATHER is interested in each of us who are called to be set apart, making us completely Holy in spirit, mind, AND body.  It is our individual choices to immerse ourselves in receiving the revelation of Agape Love.  Agape Love has the solution which supersedes every issue we will confront.

You can choose to walk in a lower level of revelation but you will walk in the limitations of that lower level.  Why walk in an incomplete manner when we have been given the path to full maturity?

When we consistently dwell in our secret place, The Holy Spirit will confirm true prophecies which have been declared and are specifically relevant to us.  There are many false prophets out there who have consistently prophesied and were later found to be false.  Often, they declare timelines as though no one else is hearing from FATHER but those dates come and go without consequence.  We are told to examine and test those prophecies to determine their validity.

We must hold only to true prophecies and jettison the rest from our midst.  Let us not scorn true prophecy just because there are false prophecies being declared in our midst.  The Holy Spirit will rightly divide the prophecies for us.

If I want to fix a broken world, I first must be fixed myself in my soul and body.  Agape Love “fixes” me and I become a Son whom FATHER can trust to empower and give Heaven’s authority to so that I can bring forth Heaven to earth.  As I enter into the “secret place” (aka the closet in Matthew 6:6), I submit to whatever repair work is needful in order for me to become fully useful to FATHER.  My revelation of Agape Love draws me into the secret place daily where I can expect that revelation to increase.  What a blessing!

Our Secret Place

Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm 91:

1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High

Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

A secret is something kept hidden or unexplained; a mystery.  When we abide under the shadow of Our Heavenly Father, HE will explain mysteries and reveal secrets to us so that we will be effective emissaries on HIS behalf.  HE will supernaturally reveal what is In HIS heart concerning our walk which will make us more effective as we spread HIS Agape Love to the world.  Doors will open which were firmly closed in the past.  Opportunities will arise seemingly out of nowhere.  The unusual will become the expected.

As we abide in the secret place each morning, FATHER will reveal the appropriate mysteries which in the past seemed to be beyond our grasp.  Our past failures will no longer have an impact on us in any way, shape, or form.  We will grasp the brevity of Jesus’ Blood and Its sufficiency to deal with our past.  We will finally be freed from that past in our minds as Jesus’ Blood completes the cleansing and purging in the area where the adversary once had his playground.

Satan and his minions will no longer be able to put shame and regret into our consciousness for we have fully accepted the Truth that we are new creations in Christ Jesus.  FATHER’S Glory will make us untouchable and the demons will look elsewhere for weak vessels to influence.

Each day I sow to THE SPIRIT thus I reap what I sow… a deeper walk in The Holy Spirit.  Jesus spoke in John chapter 16:

13 However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.

We must take these Words extremely serious.  The Holy Spirit will provide us the reality of all Truth and Its application to our individual walks.  He tells us of things to come, in essence, He prophesies to each of us.  The Holy Spirit knows what is written in our individual books in Heaven and is willing to reveal and declare what is yet to come.  There are no “maybe’s” in our books and we need to grasp this reality as we choose to walk fully led by The Holy Spirit.

If we know where we are going as declared by The Holy Spirit, then we will speak appropriate words of faith in that direction.  He will guide us into the fulfillment and manifestation of our calling given to us before we were formed in the womb.  FATHER has provided a safe and secure secret place for each of us to dwell in so that we can receive HIS Divine Intent specific to our daily lives.  If Jesus found it necessary to separate Himself for this very purpose, so should we.

Satan will try to stop our momentum as we grasp the importance of dwelling in the secret place of The Most High.  As for me, it is too late for the adversary to thwart me in this area.  I look forward to being awakened by The Holy Spirit each morning and receiving whatever is needed for that day.  There is an empowerment associated with coming before the Throne of FATHER.  It is a Loving acceptance of being HIS son whom HE is well pleased.

Since Jesus conquered death, hell, and the grave, what can the enemy threaten us with?  Everything FATHER has for us is framed by HIS Word thus we should expect the promises contained within to be applicable to us.  Many teachers have watered down HIS promises when they failed to see them materialize in their own lives.  They preferred to protect their limited understanding by redefining and diluting the Divine Intent of the Word.  Jesus never failed in any area of FATHER’S promises because His intent always aligned with Our Heavenly Father.

Truth originates from Heaven and it is absolute.  On the other hand, facts can be observed but can be misinterpreted by the observer resulting in a departure from Truth.  As we submit to The Holy Spirit, we have access to absolute Truth and can make decisions based on Truth rather than interpretations of facts.  Isn’t it best to do nothing until you have the Truth?

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 6:

5 “Whenever you pray, be sincere and not like the pretenders who love the attention they receive while praying before others in the meetings and on street corners. Believe me, they’ve already received in full their reward. 6 But whenever you pray, go into your innermost chamber and be alone with Father God, praying to him in secret. And your Father, who sees all you do, will reward you openly. 7 When you pray, there is no need to repeat empty phrases, praying like those who don’t know God, for they expect God to hear them because of their many words. 8 There is no need to imitate them, since your Father already knows what you need before you ask him.

Jesus gave us the important key to hearing FATHER- go to your secret place, FATHER is waiting!

The Broken World

Monday, December 2nd, 2019

It is time for transformation, an impartation to glory.  Each writing in the past has been intended to move us toward transformation at a personal level.  Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 12:

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

And in 2 Corinthians chapter 3:

16 Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

This is our reasonable service.  The Passion Translation says it like this:

12 Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.

2 Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.

It is my desire to have no opinion or position other than FATHER’S Divine Intent and be the expression of HIS Intent on this earth.  Not my will but HIS!  Effectively, I am overthrowing “self” once and for all.  This is transformation because it is a permanent change, not a temporary change brought on by the latest doctrine of man which has to be revisited periodically.

Walking in transformation will place The Holy Spirit at the forefront of our consciousness throughout each day and we will seek HIS guidance at every turn and in every situation.  We will be alert to the adversary’s means and methods and not be taken by surprise.  Our ability to spiritually discern will become highly sensitive as we see through man’s intents behind his actions and words.

Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 12:

25 Now, Jesus supernaturally perceived their thoughts and motives, so he confronted them by telling them this parable:

“Any kingdom that fights against itself will end up in ruins. And any family or community splintered by strife will fall apart.”

Demons will no longer be able to redirect our thoughts and responses away from the leading of The Holy Spirit.  Arguments and debates will be a thing of the past for our souls will line up with our spirit man.  None of us will take credit for this transformation for Our Lord Jesus Christ is fully credited for our transformation.  I am simply grateful for FATHER’S Goodness!

We are called to breakthrough this life of walking by The Holy Spirit.  Jesus ordained this walk when He sent The Holy Spirit to dwell in us and be our Teacher and Comforter, to guide us into all Truth.  As I walk according to The Holy Spirit, the world’s deceptions become abundantly obvious.  Their deceptions no longer impact my decisions or focus.  The world is broken and temporary so let us not put any trust in anything the world promotes.

Praying in Tongues is the number one way to participate in the supernatural.  The Holy Spirit is supernatural and resides on the inside of us.  There are those who will despise us for they want to hold on to their lusts.  In their arrogance, they will mock us in our walk just as Jesus was mocked.  They have submitted to confusion and demonic influence but The Holy Spirit will not allow us to be snared by their words or actions.  Our boldness will be supernatural and appropriate for each situation we face.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in his 2nd epistle chapter 2:

9 If the Lord Yahweh rescued Lot, he knows how to continually rescue the godly from their trials and to reserve the ungodly for punishment on the day of judgment. 10 And this especially applies to those who live their lives despising authorities and who abandon themselves to chasing the depraved lusts of their flesh.

They are willfully arrogant and insolent, unafraid to insult the glorious ones (angels). 11 Yet even angels, who are greater than they in power and strength, do not dare slander them before the Lord.

We are to submit to FATHER’S judgment of those who resist us.  As vessels of honor who walk by The Holy Spirit, we are to minister to all who are willing to hear The Gospel whether by word or deed.  This broken world needs a true solution and there is only one which will restore mankind… Our Lord Jesus Christ.  Let us walk as Our Elder Brother walked on earth for we have the assurance of The Holy Spirit.

It’s Never Too Late

Sunday, December 1st, 2019

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2 Peter chapter 2:

2 In the past there arose false prophets among God’s people, just as there will continue to be false teachers who will secretly infiltrate in your midst to divide you, bringing with them their destructive heresies. They will even deny the Master, who paid the price for them, bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow immoral lifestyles. Because of these corrupt false teachers, the way of truth will be slandered. 3 They are only out for themselves, ready to exploit you for their own gain through their cunning arguments. Their condemnation has been a long time coming. But their destruction does not slumber or sit idly by, for it is sure to come.

False prophets and false teachers promote division by their words and/or teachings.  They try to separate us into factions or groups by promoting the “have” versus the “have not” mentality.  Who is to say what person or persons have been selected to be a part of the elect?  Only Our Heavenly Father WHO formed us in the womb knows the end from the beginning.  Since each of us has been given a free will to decide what path we pursue, there is no certainty among us of who will come into the full revelation of HIS Love prior to the end of the age.

Instead of pondering who will make it and who won’t, shouldn’t each of us focus on our own growth and maturity?  Aren’t we to Love all no matter what their current state?  If a man embraces The Way just one day before his death, isn’t he rewarded just like you and me?

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 20:

20 “This will help you understand the way heaven’s kingdom operates: “There once was a wealthy landowner who went out at daybreak to hire all the laborers he could find to work in his vineyard. 2 After agreeing to pay them the standard day’s wage, he put them to work. 3 Then at nine o’clock, as he was passing through the town square, he found others standing around without work. 4 He told them, ‘Come and work for me in my vineyard and I’ll pay you a fair wage.’ 5 So off they went to join the others. He did the same thing at noon and again at three o’clock, making the same arrangement as he did with the others.

6 “Hoping to finish his harvest that day, he went to the town square again at five o’clock and found more who were idle. So he said to them, ‘Why have you been here all day without work?’

7 “‘Because no one hired us,’ they answered.

“So he said to them, ‘Then go and join my crew and work in my vineyard.’

8 “When evening came, the owner of the vineyard went to his foreman and said, ‘Call in all the laborers, line them up, and pay them the same wages, starting with the most recent ones I hired and finishing with the ones who worked all day.’

9 “When those hired late in the day came to be paid, they were given a full day’s wage. 10 And when those who had been hired first came to be paid, they were convinced that they would receive more. But everyone was paid the standard wage. 11 When they realized what had happened, they were offended and complained to the landowner, saying, 12 ‘You’re treating us unfairly! They’ve only worked for one hour while we’ve slaved and sweated all day under the scorching sun. You’ve made them equal to us!’

13 “The landowner replied, ‘Friends, I’m not being unfair—I’m doing exactly what I said. Didn’t you agree to work for the standard wage? 14 If I want to give those who only worked for an hour equal pay, what does that matter to you? 15 Don’t I have the right to do what I want with what is mine? Why should my generosity make you jealous of them?’

16 “Now you can understand what I meant when I said that the first will end up last and the last will end up being first. Everyone is invited, but few are the chosen.”

FATHER is not interested in our soulish opinions.  In the above parable, the laborers who started early viewed their work as “performance based” rather than “Love based”.  Who is the greatest in the Kingdom?  One who serves all.  I need not compare myself to anyone else for my book written in Heaven is specific to me and I should concentrate on being excellent in my own calling, no matter whether it seems large or small in other peoples’ eyes.  Each of us is valuable to Our Heavenly Father and we must not allow ourselves to be compared to others.

Each day Jesus spent time with FATHER receiving instructions for His ministry and He is our Example to be followed.  In Matthew chapter 14:

22 As soon as the people were fed, Jesus told his disciples to get into their boat and to go to the other side of the lake while he stayed behind to dismiss the people. 23 After the crowds dispersed, Jesus went up into the hills to pray. And as night fell he was there praying alone with God.

24 But the disciples, who were now in the middle of the lake, ran into trouble, for their boat was tossed about by the high winds and heavy seas.

25 At about four o’clock in the morning, Jesus came to them, walking on the waves!

If Jesus found it necessary to be separated and spend time in prayer with FATHER, then so should we.  Each day I purpose to awaken when The Holy Spirit nudges me, no matter what time.  I am immediately alert and know it’s time to get up and go before FATHER.  I look forward to this quiet time with HIM.  I have no agenda but to hear what The Holy Spirit wants to say.  I am content with whatever topic is to be addressed for that day and know that I am being prepared for what lies ahead.

As our relationship with FATHER becomes intimate, then we will not be moved by what false prophets or false teachers say.  We will not be moved by the world’s opinions for we will have the Truth in our hearts to compare everything spoken to us on a daily basis.  We will be at peace while others are in turmoil.  We will also embrace each situation and be led by The Holy Spirit to speak or hold our tongue.  As Jesus taught in the above parable, it is never too late to become a laborer for FATHER for HIS generosity isn’t defined by time spent.
