Today’s Word

Sunday, July 31st, 2022

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 13:

16 We will show mercy to the poor and not miss an opportunity to do acts of kindness for others, for these are the true sacrifices that delight God’s heart. (TPT)

Attempting To Censor The Truth

Sunday, July 31st, 2022

From the Epoch Times: Collusion between the CDC and social media companies to censor free speech:

A small excerpt from their article:

Facebook executives, meanwhile, worked with the CDC on the company’s COVID-19 information page, and reached a deal that enabled the company to put the CDC’s logo on the page. Facebook also donated $15,000 in ad credits, which an agreement said “will be used by CDC’s COVID-19 response to support the agency’s messages on Facebook, and extend the reach of COVID-19-related Facebook content, including messages on vaccines, social distancing, travel, and other priority communication messages.”

The executives informed Crawford and other CDC officials in early 2021 of their efforts to crack down on COVID-19 misinformation, which included an announcement that the company would be working with groups to encourage people to get vaccinated while making it harder to find accounts “that discourage vaccination.”

Crawford at one point asked Google to tweak its search rankings to make it so a specific CDC page ranked higher in the results, and asked Google-owned YouTube to share a CDC video.

She also suggested YouTube staffers had assisted the CDC in a campaign.

“Thank you so much for all the assistance on the college influencers. We appreciate the special help you are providing us as we navigate this new territory,” she wrote.

My wife suggested we subscribe to the Epoch Times… a rarity. For whatever reason, The Holy Spirit wants us to be aware of the Truth being censored. The science continues to reveal the nefarious attempts to adversely affect the population. We must continue to be vigilant and not be swayed by the adversary’s attempts to manipulate our mindsets.

Greater Sensitivity

Saturday, July 30th, 2022

Your mindset will determine whether you live with a hardened heart or a sensitive heart.  It is solely up to each of us to guard our hearts.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 3:

1   And so, dear brothers and sisters, you are now made Holy, and each of you is invited to the feast of your Heavenly calling. So fasten your thoughts fully onto Jesus, Whom we embrace as our Apostle and King-Priest.

The world would like to eradicate the Name of Jesus from every reference possible.  Why?  They are led by the adversary who fully understands the power and authority behind the Name of Jesus.  The adversary also understands the power of His Blood.  The author of lies is promoting lies hoping to extinguish Truth from every aspect of the media but is failing.

2 For He was faithful to the Father Who appointed Him, in the same way that Moses was a model of faithfulness in what was entrusted to him.

3 But Jesus is worthy to receive a much greater glory than Moses, for the One who builds a house deserves to be honored more than the house He builds.

4 Every house is built by someone, but God is the Designer and Builder of all things.

You and I have been appointed for this time in history so accept this as reality.  You were not randomly placed here but were specifically to be here with your own set of unique gifts and calling (Psalm 139:16).  We are to be faithful to what FATHER has planned for us.  It is never too late to walk in your calling.  Moses spent the first 80 years on earth before he fully began his walk.  It’s not over until it’s over.

5 Indeed, Moses served God faithfully in all He gave him to do. His work prophetically illustrates things that would later be spoken and fulfilled.

Moses did his part and it is time for us to do our part in FATHER’S Grand Plan.

6 But Christ is more than a Servant, He was faithful as the Son in charge of God’s House. And now we are part of His House if we continue courageously to hold firmly to our bold confidence and our victorious hope.

Let us hold firmly!

7 This is why the Holy Spirit says, “If only you would listen to His Voice this day!

We must keep our hearts sensitive in order to hear HIS Voice.

8 Don’t make Him angry by hardening your hearts, like your ancestors did during the days of their rebellion, when they were tested in the wilderness.

9 There your fathers tested Me and tried My patience even though they saw My miracles for forty years they still doubted Me!

10 This ignited My anger with that generation and I said about them, ‘They wander in their hearts just like they do with their feet, and they refuse to learn My ways.’ 11 My Heart grieved over them so I decreed: ‘They will never enter into the calming rest of My Spirit!’ ”

We have been warned!  Do not do the same thing that the ancestors did in the wilderness.  It was their decision to allow the mindsets to focus on worldly thoughts and desires rather than learning FATHER’S Ways.

12 So search your hearts every day, my brothers and sisters, and make sure that none of you has evil or unbelief hiding within you. For it will lead you astray, and make you unresponsive to the Living God.

This is not a “one and done” issue.  It is vital that we focus daily on maintaining a sensitive heart.

13 This is the time to encourage each other to never be stubborn or hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

These writings are intended to encourage us to not become stubborn or hardened.

14 For we are mingled with the Messiah, if we will continue unshaken in this confident assurance from the beginning until the end.

15 For again, the Scriptures say, If only today you would listen to His Voice. Don’t make Him angry by hardening your hearts, as you did in the wilderness rebellion.

16 The same people who were delivered from bondage and brought out of Egypt by Moses, were the ones who heard and still rebelled.

17 They grieved God for forty years by sinning in their unbelief, until they dropped dead in the desert.

18 So God swore an oath that they would never enter into His Calming Place of Rest all because they disobeyed Him.

19 It is clear that they could not enter into their inheritance because they wrapped their hearts in unbelief.

I have been asked more than once how I am able to hear Father’s Voice.  It is all about my heart being sensitive and willing to change my mindset.  I have made many mistakes in my walk with FATHER over the last 50+ years.  However, I am willing to change because I know that I have so much to learn and understand which is beyond my current understanding.  I live my life knowing that I need to constantly change so that I can reach a higher level of maturity.  I am unwilling to think that I have arrived.

If you approach life with a sensitive heart and a willing mind to accept change, you have prepared yourself to be used in a greater manner by FATHER and hear HIS Voiced with greater clarity.

Tuning In To FATHER’S Words

Friday, July 29th, 2022

Your mind has a “tuner” in it and you can tune out the world and tune in the Words Our Heavenly Father speaks.  However, the opposite is also true.

The first time I heard FATHER speak to me was at about 1 PM on a Friday afternoon in August of 1972.  HE instructed me to go to a certain tall building in downtown Oklahoma City where there was a part-time job for me while I completed college.  Little did I know that it was a bank.  That is how I began my career in banking.  I submitted to HIS Divine Intent.  I had never considered working at a bank.  Am I special?  No more than you.

Wisdom records in Proverbs chapter 4:

20   Listen carefully, my dear child, to everything that I teach you, and pay attention to all that I have to say.

21 Fill your thoughts with My Words until they penetrate deep into your spirit.

We are to “tune in” to FATHER’S Word and tune out the world.  You can’t have it both ways for it is like trying to hear two conversations at the same time.

22 Then, as you unwrap (discover) My Words, They will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being.

Do you want to live with radiant health?  The word radiant means: sending out light; shining or glowing brightly.  Father’s Word ultimately will produce radiance in you and me and that state will draw people unto us.

23 So above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life.

We must diligently guard our hearts at all cost.  This can be a notable challenge in today’s world.  Our first priority is to renew our minds daily with The Word.  By doing this, our hearts become more sensitive which results in our actions being aligned with FATHER’S Divine Intent.

How do we keep our hearts sensitive?  The next verses instruct us:

24 Avoid dishonest speech and pretentious words. Be free from using perverse words no matter what!

25 Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions.

26 Watch where you’re going! Stick to the path of Truth, and the road will be safe and smooth before you.

27 Don’t allow yourself to be sidetracked for even a moment or take the detour that leads to darkness.

Wisdom gives us specific instructions to guard our hearts and keep them sensitive to hearing FATHER’S Word.  The more sensitive our hearts are, the easier it is to hear FATHER.  We must be willing to change in order to mature into the fullness of walking as Sons and Daughters.

It is vital that we set our “tuners” to hear what FATHER is saying so that we can be a blessing to others just as Jesus was and is.  We will be blessed in all that we set our hands to no matter what state the global economy is in.

A Sensitive Heart

Thursday, July 28th, 2022

Life can be simple but it won’t be easy. It requires total commitment to THE LORD!

However, a complex life is guaranteed to be difficult and less rewarding.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 1:

18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

21   because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened (hardened).

If we want to make ourselves more sensitive to FATHER, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit, we must do the opposite of what causes men’s hearts to become hardened or darkened.  It is that simple!

We will glorify GOD because HE is worthy and valuable to our lives.

We will be thankful and remember what HE has done in our lives.

We will think on Spiritual things thus producing a positive imagination which precedes hope.  Hope precedes faith and faith precedes manifestation of FATHER’S Divine Intent in our lives.

As we do the above, our hearts will become sensitive to GOD rather than sensitive to what the world is promoting.

People with hardened hearts promote division, anger, and rage.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 11:

8   Faith motivated Abraham to obey God’s call and leave the familiar to discover the territory he was destined to inherit from God. So he left with only a promise and without even knowing ahead of time where he was going, Abraham stepped out in faith.

9 He lived by faith as an immigrant in his promised land as though it belonged to someone else. He journeyed through the land living in tents with Isaac and Jacob who were persuaded that they were also co-heirs of the same promise.

10 His eyes of faith were set on the city with unshakable foundations, whose architect and builder is God Himself.

11 Sarah’s faith embraced the miracle power to conceive even though she was barren and was past the age of childbearing, for the authority of her faith rested in the One who made the promise, and she tapped into His faithfulness.

12 In fact, so many children were subsequently fathered by this aged man of faith—one who was as good as dead, that he now has offspring as innumerable as the sand on the seashore and as the stars in the sky!

13 These heroes all died still clinging to their faith, not even receiving all that had been promised them. But they saw beyond the horizon the fulfillment of their promises and gladly embraced it from afar. They all lived their lives on earth as those who belonged to another realm.

14 For clearly, those who live this way are longing for the appearing of a Heavenly city.

We too are to embrace the other realm as we navigate through this temporary life.

15 And if their hearts were still remembering what they left behind, they would have found an opportunity to go back.

16 But they couldn’t turn back for their hearts were fixed on what was far greater, that is, the Heavenly realm! So because of this God is not ashamed in any way to be called their God, for He has prepared a Heavenly city for them.

We must also forget what we left behind and keep our focus and faith looking forward just as Abraham and Sarah did.  They were fully committed to what FATHER showed them and did not allow themselves to look back at the past as they moved forward into uncharted territory. They had sensitive hearts to THE LORD.

Seedtime And Harvest

Wednesday, July 27th, 2022

One sows the seed and another reaps the harvest.

After His initial encounter with the woman at the well, Jesus spoke in John chapter 4:

31  Then the disciples began to insist that Jesus eat some of the food they brought back from the village, saying, “Teacher, you must eat something.”

32 But Jesus told them, “Don’t worry about Me. I have eaten a meal you don’t know about.”

33 Puzzled by this, the disciples began to discuss among themselves, “Did someone already bring Him food? Where did He get this meal?”

34 Then Jesus spoke up and said, “My food is to be doing the Will of Him Who sent Me and bring it to completion.

The word Jesus uses isn’t the common word for “food,” but is actually a word that means “nutrients.” It is also a homonym (the same word but different meanings) that is more commonly translated “kingdom.” Jesus has a Kingdom feast that no one else knows about. He feasts upon the devotion of His bride. The church is truly the “woman at the well.”

As it is written by The Holy Spirit in Song of Songs chapter 4:

15 Your life (Jesus) flows into mine, pure as a garden spring. A well of living water springs up from within you, like a mountain brook flowing into my heart!

35 As the crowds emerged from the village, Jesus said to his disciples, “Why would you say, ‘The harvest is another four months away’? Look at all the people coming—now is harvest time! For their hearts are like vast fields of ripened grain—ready for a spiritual harvest.

36 And everyone who reaps these souls for eternal life will receive a reward. And those who plant spiritual seeds and those who reap the harvest will celebrate together with great joy!

With all that is going on in the world, people are ready for a true solution to their problems: poverty, sickness, disease, etc.  Jesus IS the solution and it is up to us to plant Seeds (The Word) when the opportunity arises.  The Word will enter into their hearts and some will soon be ready for harvest.  Yes, there will be some who reject The Word but we must not be discouraged with them.  There are plenty of others who have nowhere else to turn.

37 And this confirms the saying, ‘One sows the Seed and another reaps the harvest.’

38 I have sent you out to harvest a field that you haven’t planted, where many others have labored long and hard before you. And now you are privileged to profit from their labors and reap the harvest.”

Let us profit from those who labored in the past but we must prepare ourselves for those opportunities by renewing our minds daily, coming to full maturity.

39 So there were many from the Samaritan village who became believers in Jesus because of the woman’s testimony: “He told me everything I ever did!” 40 Then they begged Jesus to stay with them, so He stayed there for two days,

41 resulting in many more coming to faith in Him because of His teachings.

42 Then the Samaritans said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you told us, but now we’ve heard Him ourselves and are convinced that He really is the true Savior of the world!

Jesus Loved the people of the Samaritan village and stayed two days with them.  This was a testimony to the disciples who were constantly being challenged because of the past teachings by the Pharisees.  We must set aside traditions and opinions so that we can fully embrace seedtime and harvest of souls for The Kingdom.

Wellspring Of Life

Tuesday, July 26th, 2022

Do you have a “well springing forth life” or are you half-empty?

Do most Christians have an overflowing life?  These writings are intended to move each of us to such a life and in all areas.

Jesus spoke in John chapter 4:

5   Jesus arrived at the Samaritan village of Sychar, near the field that Jacob had given to his son, Joseph, long ago.

6 Wearied by his long journey, he sat on the edge of Jacob’s well. He sent His disciples into the village to buy food, for it was already afternoon. Soon a Samaritan woman came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink of water.”

Jewish Law prevented them from associating with Samaritans but the Law of Love is above all other laws and traditions.  Legalism has caused many to fail in the area of Love.

9 Surprised, she said, “Why would a Jewish man ask a Samaritan woman for a drink of water?”

10 Jesus replied, “If you only knew who I am and the gift that God wants to give you—you’d ask Me for a drink, and I would give to you living water.”

Jesus made it clear that He was here for all of mankind no matter who they are.  The disciples were not ready for this revelation yet.

11 The woman replied, “But Sir, you don’t even have a bucket and this well is very deep. So where do You find this ‘living water’?

12 Do you really think that You are greater than our ancestor Jacob who dug this well and drank from it himself, along with his children and livestock?”

13 Jesus answered, “If you drink from Jacob’s well you’ll be thirsty again and again,

14 but if anyone drinks the Living Water I give them, they will never thirst again and will be forever satisfied! For when you drink the Water I give you it becomes a gushing fountain of the Holy Spirit, springing up and flooding you with endless life!”

Only Jesus can totally fulfill us, nothing else.  Men are never content with what they have so they are always looking for fulfillment.  They think entertainment, cars, houses, etc. will fill their void.  Only Jesus and The Holy Spirit can do that.  Are we good examples of the fulfillment?  We were at a hotel in Missouri this weekend when a Pentecostal church convention was to begin.  The Pentecostal ladies had scowls on their faces and the kids were running amuck.  The men were not happy either. There was no indication of joy in their expressions… sadly.

15 The woman replied, “Let me drink that water so I’ll never be thirsty again and won’t have to come back here to draw water.”

16 Jesus said, “Go get your husband and bring him back here.”

17 “But I’m not married,” the woman answered. “That’s true,” Jesus said,

18 “for you’ve been married five times and now you’re living with a man who is not your husband. You have told the truth.”

Jesus was not moved by her past sins.

19 The woman said, “You must be a prophet!

20 So tell me this: Why do our fathers worship God here on this nearby mountain, but Your people teach that Jerusalem is the place where we must worship. Which is right?” Jesus responded,

21 “Believe me, dear woman, the time has come when you won’t worship the Father on a mountain nor in Jerusalem, but in your heart.

22 Your people don’t really know the One they worship. We Jews worship out of our experience, for it’s from the Jews that salvation is made available.

23 From here on, worshiping the Father will not be a matter of the right place but with the right heart. For God is a Spirit, and He longs to have sincere worshipers who worship and adore Him in the realm of the Spirit and in Truth.

It is vital that we keep this revelation at the forefront of our daily walk!

25 The woman said, “This is all so confusing, but I do know that the Anointed One is coming—the true Messiah. And when He comes, He will tell us everything we need to know.”

26 Jesus said to her, “You don’t have to wait any longer, the Anointed One is here speaking with you— I am the One you’re looking for.”

Consider the fact that Jesus revealed Himself to this woman before He revealed Himself to most of the Jews.

27 At that moment the disciples returned and were stunned to see Jesus speaking with the Samaritan woman. Yet none of them dared to ask Him why or what they were discussing.

Jesus challenged the disciples’ mindsets with this encounter.  The teachings of the Pharisees were shattered.

28 All at once, the woman dropped her water jar and ran off to her village and told everyone,

29 “Come and meet a Man at the well who told me everything I’ve ever done! He could be the Anointed One we’ve been waiting for.”

30 Hearing this, the people came streaming out of the village to go see Jesus.

How many people are running out to see us as The Sons and Daughters?  Revival will begin when the power and authority is manifested in us.  Once that happens, the current system will begin to come apart and the unrighteous activities will no longer be tolerated among the masses.

Kids In Need Update

Monday, July 25th, 2022

A fasted life should be lived based on Love.

Isaiah spoke by THE SPIRIT in chapter 58:

6 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen:

To loose the bonds of wickedness,

To undo the heavy burdens,

To let the oppressed go free,

And that you break every yoke?

7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,

And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out;

When you see the naked, that you cover him,

And not hide yourself from your own flesh?

Now the results of a fasted life based on Love:

8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning,

Your healing shall spring forth speedily,

And your righteousness shall go before you;

The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.

9 Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer;

You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’
