To Honor

Friday, February 17th, 2023

To honor is to value and respect.

To dishonor is to treat as common, ordinary, and not show respect or value… in action, word, and/or thought.

It is written by THE SPIRT in Isaiah chapter 29:

13  This is what the Lord says about these people: “They come near to Me with hollow words and honor Me superficially with their lips; all the while their hearts run far away from Me! Their worship is nothing more than man-made rules.

14 So therefore, I will again jolt this people awake with astonishing wonders upon wonders! And the wisdom of their wise ones will fail, and the intelligent know-it-alls will have no explanations.

15 Woe to you who think you can hide your plan from the Lord Yahweh. Ha! Do you actually think your secret schemes are so hidden that you say, ‘Who sees us doing this? No one knows what we’re doing!’

16 Oh, how great is your perversion! Who is more intelligent—the potter or the clay? Should a created thing say to its creator, ‘You didn’t make Me’? Should a clay pot say to the potter, ‘You don’t understand’?”  TPT

There are many who claim to honor the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY but do not really know HIM.  Those people will reap what they sow for their thoughts are fully exposed to FATHER and they will receive no reward from HIM.  Instead, they will receive HIS righteous judgment.

Mark recorded by The Holy Spirit in chapter 6:

1  Then He went out from there and came to His own country, and His disciples followed Him.

2 And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue. And many hearing Him were astonished, saying, “Where did this Man get these things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him, that such mighty works are performed by His hands!

3 Is this not the carpenter, the Son of Mary, and brother of James, Joses, Judas, and Simon? And are not His sisters here with us?” So they were offended at Him.

4 But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house.”

5 Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them.

6 And He marveled because of their unbelief. Then He went about the villages in a circuit, teaching.  NKJV

True honor brings forth the miraculous.  No honor, no miracles.

Put in other words:

He was unable to do any great miracle in Nazareth, except to heal a few sick people by laying his hands upon them.

The people of Jesus’ hometown operated in perception versus the reality of Who He is.  I call this the law of familiarity.  People look at the outward man rather than the inward man.  Our past does not define our present state.  FATHER dealt with our past through the Blood of Jesus.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 10:

40  “Whoever receives you receives (honors) Me, and whoever receives me receives (honors) the One who sent me.

41 Whoever receives (honors) a prophet because he is God’s messenger will share a prophet’s reward. And whoever welcomes (honors) a good and Godly man because he follows Me will also share in his reward.

42 And whoever gives a cup of cold water to one of my humble disciples, I promise you, he will not go unrewarded.”

Honor brings reward!

What If?

Thursday, February 16th, 2023

What if you were 24 hours from certain death, what would you do?

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter 13:

10   And Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere (before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah) like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt as you go toward Zoar.

Lot relied on his physical senses rather than hearing THE LORD.

12  Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent even as far as Sodom.

13 But the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the LORD.

Every man in Sodom made the choice to follow the path of sin thinking that there would no ramifications attached to that decision.

14  And the LORD said to Abram, after Lot had separated from him: “Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are-northward, southward, eastward, and westward;

15 for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever.

16 And I will make your descendants as the dust of the earth; so that if a man could number the dust of the earth, then your descendants also could be numbered.

17 Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.”

18 Then Abram moved his tent, and went and dwelt by the terebinth trees of Mamre, which are in Hebron, and built an altar there to the LORD.

Abram kept full separation from Sodom and Gomorrah.  Abram makes a covenant with THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, and his name (nature) is changed to Abraham.

And in Genesis chapter 19:

1  Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground.

Lot recognized righteousness when he saw it even though he dwelt among sin and passively accepted it.

2 And he said, “Here now, my lords, please turn in to your servant’s house and spend the night, and wash your feet; then you may rise early and go on your way.” And they said, “No, but we will spend the night in the open square.”

3 But he insisted strongly; so they turned in to him and entered his house. Then he made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.

Unleavened bread was another indication of his belief system.

4 Now before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both old and young, all the people from every quarter, surrounded the house.

5 And they called to Lot and said to him, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally.”

The lawless men believed themselves to be empowered to take matters into their own hands without negative repercussions.

6 So Lot went out to them through the doorway, shut the door behind him,

7 and said, “Please, my brethren, do not do so wickedly!

Lot clearly developed a relationship of acceptance of their sinful nature.

8 See now, I have two daughters who have not known a man; please, let me bring them out to you, and you may do to them as you wish; only do nothing to these men, since this is the reason they have come under the shadow of my roof.”

9 And they said, “Stand back!” Then they said, “This one came in to stay here, and he keeps acting as a judge; now we will deal worse with you than with them.” So they pressed hard against the man Lot, and came near to break down the door.

The men perceived that they were in full control of the situation… for the moment.

10 But the men reached out their hands and pulled Lot into the house with them, and shut the door.

11 And they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great, so that they became weary trying to find the door.

The angels prevented the men from entering in so that Lot would remain safe so that he could depart the evil.

12  Then the men said to Lot, “Have you anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and whomever you have in the city-take them out of this place!

13 For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the LORD, and the LORD has sent us to destroy it.”

24  Then the LORD rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the LORD out of the heavens.

25 So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.

FATHER Loves the sinners but hates the sin.  Don’t let HIS mercy and patience be misconstrued as HIS acceptance of sin.  Judgment will come in some form to those who persist in practicing lawlessness.  FATHER hasn’t changed HIS position or intent.

What would you do if you only had 24 hours to live?  How would your priorities change?

It Is Your Choice

Wednesday, February 15th, 2023

We have the choice!

James wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 4:

8  Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.

FATHER is waiting and willing to be intimate with each of us.  What are we waiting on?

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Isaiah chapter 30:

18  For this reason the Lord is still waiting to show His favor to you so He can show you His marvelous Love. He waits to be gracious to you. He sits on His Throne ready to show mercy to you. For Yahweh is the Lord of justice, faithful to keep His promises. Overwhelmed with bliss are all who will entwine their hearts in Him, waiting for Him to help them.

19 Yes, the people of Zion who live in Jerusalem will weep no more. How compassionate He will be when He hears your cries for help! He will answer you when He hears your voice!

20 Even though the Lord may allow you to go through a season of hardship and difficulty, He Himself will be there with you. He will not hide Himself from you, for your eyes will constantly see Him as your Teacher.

21 When you turn to the right or turn to the left, you will hear His Voice behind you to guide you, saying, “This is the right path; follow it.”

22 Then you will see your idols as they are-unclean! Your silver-overlaid idols and gold-plated images are defiled. You will discard them like a filthy menstrual cloth, saying to them, “Good riddance!”

23 Then God will supply you with abundant rain for the seeds you sow. He will bless you with an incredible, plentiful harvest. And in that day He will give you lush, broad pastures for your cattle.

The closer we are to FATHER, the easier it is to hear HIS Voice and be led in all matters.  However, we must tune out the worldly voices who attempt to cause us to be offended.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 17:

1 One day Jesus taught his disciples this: “Betrayals are inevitable, but great devastation will come to the one guilty of betraying others.”

If you take on an offense, get rid of it for its focus will consume you and prevent you from getting closer to FATHER.  Pray for those who despitefully use you.

Jesus also spoke in Luke chapter 6:

27  “But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,

28 bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.

35 But Love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be Sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.

36 Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.

A mature Son will not allow an offense or betrayal by others to divert his focus from drawing near to FATHER.

And Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 24:

3  Now as Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”

4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you.

5 For many will come in My Name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.

6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

14 And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Lawlessness is any position or action apart from the Divine Intent of FATHER.  It is your choice to draw near to HIM or to be offended and take matters into your own hands.

The Observable Standard

Tuesday, February 14th, 2023

We are to be the observable standard of who true believers are.

As it wrote yesterday:

If you fellowship with FATHER, you will take on HIS character and nature.

Matthew wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 7:

17-19 So if the tree is good, it will produce good fruit; but if the tree is bad, it will bear only rotten fruit and it deserves to be cut down and burned.

20  Look at the obvious fruit of their lives and ministries, and then you’ll know whether they are true or false.”

There is no excuse for ignorance of what is in FATHER’S Heart.  Let not what HE hates to be found among us.

Wisdom wrote by THE SPIRIT in Proverbs chapter 6:

16  These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:

17 A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood,

18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil,

19 A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.

James wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 4:

8  Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.

Each of us must critically assess where are loyalty is.  Where you focus your resources and time reveals your priorities.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 7:

13   “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.

14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to Life, and there are few who find it.

And Jesus also spoke in Luke chapter 13:

24  “There is a great cost for anyone to enter through the narrow doorway to God’s Kingdom realm. I tell you, there will be many who will want to enter but won’t be able to.

25 For once the head of the house has shut and locked the door, it will be too late. Even if you stand outside knocking, begging to enter, and saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open the door for us,’ He will say to you, ‘I don’t know who you are. You are not a part of my family.’

26 “Then you will reply, ‘But Lord, we dined with You and walked with You as You taught us.’

27 And he will reply, ‘Don’t you understand? I don’t know who you are, for you are not a part of My Family. You cannot enter in. Now, go away from Me! For you are all disloyal to Me and do evil.

28 “You will experience great weeping and great anguish when you see Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, along with all the prophets of Israel, enjoying God’s Kingdom realm while you yourselves are barred from entering.

29 And you will see people streaming from the four corners of the earth, accepting the invitation to feast in God’s Kingdom, while you are kept outside looking in.

30 And take note of this: There are some who are despised and viewed as the least important now, but will one day be placed at the head of the line. And there are others who are viewed as ‘elite’ today who will become least important then.”

Jesus expressed a vital Truth:  An unrepentant heart will be unable to enter through the narrow doorway.  In the past, pastors broadened the definition of what it takes to be a Christian by removing the requirement to repent.  They wanted to fill seats or increase their Facebook views, podcasts, and/or sell more books.

Do we want to be popular with the world or lead people to the True Christ?  Let us set the righteous standard.

Encountering The Fire

Monday, February 13th, 2023

We need a manifested encounter with GOD which will purify us.

Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Exodus chapter 20:

20  And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His Fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.”

There is the fear, which is being afraid, where you run away for protection.  Then there is the reverential Fear in awe, where you run to be close to THE LORD.  Which direction you run is determined by the state of your heart.

Wisdom recorded in Proverbs chapter 16:

6  By mercy and Truth iniquity is purged: and by the Fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

The Love of GOD keeps us from legalism, whereas the Fear of GOD keeps us from lawlessness.

It is written by THE Spirit in Daniel chapter 11:

32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know (intimately) their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

To know someone intimately and walk in that intimacy continually, we must be totally trustworthy and reliable.  Moses had his first encounter with the Fear of THE LORD at the burning bush.  That encounter changed his life and he left all his worldliness behind.  FATHER could now rely on him to lead the Children of Israel out of Egypt (aka the world).

You become like the company you keep!

If you fellowship with liars, betrayers, and manipulators, you will take on their characteristics through compromise of your prior values.  If you fellowship with FATHER, you will take on HIS character and nature.

Matthew wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 7:

15  “Constantly be on your guard against phony prophets. They come disguised as lambs, appearing to be genuine, but on the inside they are like wild, ravenous wolves!

16 You can spot them by their actions, for the fruits of their character will be obvious. You won’t find sweet grapes hanging on a thorn bush, and you’ll never pick good fruit from a tumbleweed.

17-19 So if the tree is good, it will produce good fruit; but if the tree is bad, it will bear only rotten fruit and it deserves to be cut down and burned.

20  Look at the obvious fruit of their lives and ministries, and then you’ll know whether they are true or false.”

I have seen many ministries over the years, some truly fruitful and most unfruitful.  You and I are to judge their fruit.  A church/ministry can grow to the size of a megachurch and totally miss it.  Their focus and marketing efforts may simply be to fill the seats and their bank accounts, and/or build up their social media numbers.

Good fruit is determined by the supernatural, not worldly increase.  A minister can claim to have a spiritual encounter which will draw many to become members of the church.  One local church allows the gay and lesbian community to attend the services without repentance.  Did they cut out all references to this sin from their midst?

GOD Loves the sinner but hate the sin.

Moses wrote by THE SPIRIT in Genesis, chapter 13:

13  But the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the LORD.

FATHER wiped out Sodom and Gomorrah by HIS Holy Fire.  The people were known by their fruits.  FATHER hasn’t changed.

Genuine Faith

Sunday, February 12th, 2023

There is no genuine faith in Jesus Christ without repentance.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 6:

1  Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Once again, in order to move on to deeper Truths, we must have a foundation of repentance.  Counterfeit faith doesn’t work!

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 7:

13  “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.

14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

We enter the narrow gate through repentance!

In the last forty years, the church has watered down the Message of Jesus in order to fill seats and generate revenue.  They preached Love without repentance allowing lawlessness to be retained in people’s hearts.

How many couples live together outside of marriage?  How many use abortion as birth control?  How many marriages end up in divorce?  How much perversion is now tolerated and accepted?  How can this happen?  They have been introduced to a fake Jesus who doesn’t require repentance.

What is the core value of a true believer?  He or she says, “I will no longer live as the judge of what is best for me.  From this moment forward, I will live according to what FATHER says is best for me, no matter what!”

This is not meant to promote legalism.  A person who walks in legalism modifies his behavior without changing his heart.  A person who walks in Love and fully accepts FATHER’S Word is due to a changed heart.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 13:

1  No matter what, make room in your heart to Love every believer.

2 And show hospitality to strangers, for they may be angels from God showing up as your guests.

3]Identify with those who are in prison as though you were there suffering with them, and those who are mistreated as if you could feel their pain.

4 Honor the sanctity of marriage and keep your vows of purity to one another, for God will judge sexual immorality in any form, whether single or married.

5 Don’t be obsessed with money but live content with what you have, for you always have God’s Presence. For hasn’t He promised you, “I will never leave you alone, never! And I will not loosen My grip on your life!”

6 So we can say with great confidence: “I know the Lord is for me and I will never be afraid of what people may do to me!”

Jesus is the Bridegroom and we are the Bride.  We are instructed to keep our hearts pure, and repentance is a requirement for that purity to take effect.  This is what genuine faith requires.

HIS Sacred Word’s Authority

Saturday, February 11th, 2023

Is your relationship with GOD sacred and is HIS Word your final authority?

As I wrote in the last blog:

The unrepentant person:  The Word of God is optional for my choices.

The repentant person: The Word of God is the final authority for my choices.

Our relationship with FATHER must be based on a repentant heart.  Yes, we will mess up and when we do, we must repent.  FATHER understands our humanity and that is why grace abounds on our behalf.  However, we must purpose to walk in HIS final authority.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 26:

19  “Therefore, King Agrippa, I (Paul) was not disobedient to the Heavenly vision, 20 but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they must repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.

21 For these reasons the Jews seized me in the temple and tried to kill me.

22 Therefore, having obtained help from God, to this day I stand, witnessing both to small and great, saying no other things than those which the prophets and Moses said would come-

23  that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.”

“Works benefitting repentance” means: to turn to God and demonstrate it with a changed life.

Paul also spoke and is recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 17:

30  “In the past God tolerated our ignorance of these things, but now the time of deception has passed away. HE commands us all to repent and turn to HIM.”

In order to move on to deeper Truths, we must have a foundation of repentance.

Paul continues:

3  So with God’s enablement we will move on to deeper Truths.

4 It is impossible to restore an apostate. For once a person has come into God’s light, and tasted the gifts of the Heavenly realm, and has received the Holy Spirit, 5 and feasted on the good Word of God, and has entered into the power of the age that is breaking in,

6 if he abandons his faith, there is no use even trying to lead him to repentance. By their sin of apostasy they re-crucify the Son of God, and have publicly repudiated Him.

7 For men’s hearts are just like the soil that drinks up the showers which often fall upon it. Some soil will yield crops as God’s blessing upon the field.

8 But if the field continues to produce only thorns and thistles a curse hangs over it and it will be burned.

It is vital that we walk with a repentant heart and yield good fruit.  By focusing on FATHER’S Word and fully obeying It in all situations, we will be found trustworthy to receive the sacred, deeper Truths.

Draw Near: Part 2

Friday, February 10th, 2023

How do we perfect Holiness?

Remember:

FATHER revealed HIS Holiness before HE revealed HIS Love so if we want to come into full maturity, we must pursue Holiness as well.  We cannot treat our relationship with Our Heavenly Father as common for it is sacred.

2 Corinthians 7:1 NKJV

Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting Holiness in the Fear of God.

You perfect Holiness in the Fear of GOD, not in the Love of GOD.  You can Love GOD with all your heart and still be lawless.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 10:

26  “Don’t be afraid or intimidated by others, for God will bring everything out into the open and every secret will be told.

27 What I say to you in the dark, repeat in broad daylight, and what you hear in a whisper, announce it publicly.

28 Don’t be in fear of those who can kill only the body but not your soul. Fear only God, who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

The Fear of GOD has nothing to do with being afraid of HIM.  It is terrified of being distant from HIM.

It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in Exodus chapter 20:

18   Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off.

19 Then they said to Moses, “You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.”

20 And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear (H3372); for God has come to test you, and that His Fear (H3374) may be before you, so that you may not sin.”

H3372 means to be afraid.  H3374 means to be in awesome Fear.

It is vital that we ponder this verse.  First of all, we are not to be afraid, but to be totally reverent with absolute respect.

In the 1990s during my morning prayer, FATHER spoke to me and told me not to use the word “awesome” unless I was addressing or describing HIM.  People had begun using that word as a common response to worldly occurrences.  It is clearly a Sacred Word.

21 So the people stood afar off, but Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was.

Do you seek to come closer to FATHER and draw near or do you continue focusing on the temporary?

Repent!

Friday, February 10th, 2023

Where is your loyalty?

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 11:

2  You need to know that God’s passion is burning inside me for you, because, like a Loving father, I have pledged your hand in marriage to Christ, your true Bridegroom. I’ve also promised that I would present His fiancée to Him as a pure virgin bride.

3 But now I’m afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s clever lies, your thoughts may be corrupted and you may lose your single-hearted devotion and pure Love for Christ.

4 For you seem to gladly tolerate anyone who comes to you preaching a pseudo-Jesus, not the Jesus we have preached. You have accepted a spirit and gospel that is false, rather than the Spirit and Gospel you once embraced. How tolerant you have become of these imposters!

And…

James wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 4:

7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

8 Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.

Repentance means “a change in the whole personality from a sinful course of action to GOD.”  FATHER uses the illustration of a husband and wife, bridegroom and bride in conveying the loyalty HE expects of us to HIM.  The following provides a comparison between pseudo-Christians and true Christians:

The unrepentant person:  The Word of God is optional for my choices.

The repentant person: The Word of God is the final authority for my choices.

Is your relationship with GOD sacred?

After Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, the first Words He spoke in Matthew chapter 4:

17  From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”  NKJV

17 From then on Jesus began to preach, “Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.  NLT

The only way you can turn to God is to repent of your sins.

Matthew wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 11:

20 Then He began to rebuke the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they did not repent

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 13:

2  Jesus turned and asked the crowd, “Do you believe that the slaughtered Galileans were the worst sinners of all the Galileans?

3 No, they weren’t! So listen to Me. Unless you all repent, you will perish as they did.

4 Or what about the eighteen who perished when the tower of Siloam fell upon them? Do you really think that they were more guilty than all of the others in Jerusalem?

5 No, they weren’t. But unless you repent, you will all eternally perish, just as they did.

Jesus reiterated the need for us to repent for repentance opens the door to our relationship with Him.  Lawlessness closes the door.  The disciples got the message!

Mark wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 6:

12 So the disciples went out, telling everyone they met to repent of their sins and turn to God.

13 And they cast out many demons and healed many sick people, anointing them with olive oil.

When repentance comes, so does healing.

Luke 16, Jesus speaks:

27 “Then the rich man said, ‘Please, Father Abraham, at least send him to my father’s home.

28 For I have five brothers, and I want him to warn them so they don’t end up in this place of torment.’

29 “But Abraham said, ‘Moses and the prophets have warned them. Your brothers can read what they wrote.’

30 “The rich man replied, ‘No, Father Abraham! But if someone is sent to them from the dead, then they will repent of their sins and turn to God.

31 “But Abraham said, ‘If they won’t listen to Moses and the prophets, they won’t listen even if someone rises from the dead.’”

The rich man knew the reality of his demise and wanted to warn his family.  Repentance is critical.

Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 2:

38 Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Our loyalty to Jesus as His bride requires us to fully repent of our sins.  Anything less is unacceptable for the bride.

Kids In Need Update

Thursday, February 9th, 2023

Hello!

I was able to give a family some gift cards who needed some extra help right now. They recently agreed to be a kinship placement for a couple of brothers at our school. They took a total of 5 children in and the Uncle came in to ask for help. They are overwhelmed! One of the children is special needs and wheelchair bound.
