The Fear of THE LORD: Part 4

The Fear of THE LORD is the beginning!

You cannot get FATHER to do something HE already wants to do OR won’t do.  We cannot convince HIM to part from HIS Divine Intent.  So, how do you find out what HIS Divine Intent is?  The Word and The Holy Spirit will communicate HIS Divine Intent.  How can you hear better?  By moving closer to HIM.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Peter chapter 1:

3  Everything we could ever need for Life and Godliness has already been deposited in us by His Divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing Him Who has called us by name and invited us to come to Him through a glorious manifestation of His goodness.

4 As a result of this, He has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises we can experience partnership with the Divine Nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.

The Old Testament illustrates the process of moving closer to Our Heavenly Father.  In Exodus chapter 26, FATHER gives Moses precise instructions for the construction of The Tabernacle where FATHER would dwell among the people.  The artisans had been anointed by FATHER before they were formed in the womb to be able to construct the various elements in superior fashion.  There was nothing to be commonplace in this construction!  Construction The Tabernacle was a form of worship within itself.  Excellence was required in every aspect of construction!

The Holy of Holies, The Holy Place, and The Court of The Tabernacle were all constructed with concise directions.

Moses records by THE SPIRIT in Exodus chapter 26:

20  “And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually.

21 In the tabernacle of meeting, outside the veil which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening until morning before the LORD. It shall be a statute forever to their generations on behalf of the children of Israel.

The oil represents the continuous light (revelation) given to us by The Holy Spirit.  We are meant to walk continuously led by The Holy Spirit in all matters.

The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in Revelation chapter 1:

4  From John to the seven churches in western Turkey: May the kindness of God’s grace and peace overflow to you from Him Who is, and Who was, and Who is coming, and from the seven Spirits who are in front of His Throne,

5 and from Jesus Christ the Faithful Witness, the Firstborn from among the dead and the ruling King, who rules over the kings of the earth! Now to the One Who constantly Loves us and has loosed us from our sins by His Own Blood,

6 and to the One Who has appointed us as a Kingdom of priests to serve His God and Father—to Him be glory and dominion throughout the eternity of eternities! Amen!

You and I have been appointed to serve as priests to Our Heavenly Father.  It is our responsibility to keep the Light burning, without exception.  The seven churches given this command did not heed the Words of Jesus.  They cease to exist today.

James wrote by The Holy Spirit in his Epistle, chapter 4:

7  So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will turn and run away from you.

8 Move your heart closer and closer to God, and He will come even closer to you. But make sure you cleanse your life, you sinners, and keep your heart pure and stop doubting.

9 Feel the pain of your sin, be sorrowful and weep! Let your joking around be turned into mourning and your joy into deep humiliation.

10 Be willing to be made low before the Lord and He will exalt you!  TPT

In other Words:

7  Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.  NKJV

The four steps to drawing near to FATHER:

1 Humble yourself and yield to HIS Authority

2 Resist the devil

3 Don’t allow yourself to be enticed by the devil

4 Don’t be afraid to express deep sorrow for your past lawlessness
