Love for All

Colossians 1:3-4   We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love [which ye have] to all the saints,

How would you like to be known by your Love for all?  Do you have such a reputation?  Think about it, what do people know you for?  How would they describe you?  Many of us are legends in our own minds.  Are you willing to help others when it is inconvenient?  Are you willing to serve when called upon?  When you see the weak, do you look  for ways to lift them up?

Soon we will be opening up website for people to respond to the “call” for the Kingdom is at hand.  While the world around us in turmoil and headed for economic destruction, Our Heavenly Father does not sit passively by without a plan.  HE has been preparing a group of people for such a time as this.  These people have been patiently waiting and preparing for the fullness of their calling.  They have moved from a life of immaturity in their ideas and actions to a life in full submission to the Word of Our Heavenly Father.  When the call comes, who will respond?

Will people respond as the rich ruler of Luke 18, Matthew 19, and Mark 10?  Here we have three witnesses of this particular passage.  I suspect Our Heavenly Father wanted to make a very specific point that could not be rationalized away by our ego.  Worldly wealth will be a stumbling block to inheriting eternal life:

Mark 10:21   Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

Jesus LOVED him!  Do you think Our Heavenly Father would have you sell everything and give so that you could become one of the poor?  I  think not.  Jesus never walked around in lack and poverty.  Jesus was revealing what was in the young man’s heart- greed.  The young man knew the Law.  He had head knowledge of the Commandment to Love thy neighbor as yourself but he would not live the words he had memorized.  The young man’s calling had been one of stewardship and acquisition of wealth.  Do you think that his gifts and callings would cease once he responded to Jesus’ request?  I would suggest that upon completion of that call to Love, he would have been given stewardship of much greater magnitude.

In 1987, Our Heavenly Father  gave me a vision that “a group of Christian businessmen would fund the End-time Gospel”.  I was young and naïve at the time.  Just as Joseph was given a vision which he did not fully comprehend, I had no idea of all that would transpire before the fruition of the vision.  Little did I know that much revelation was needed before the vision could take place.  Little did  I know that my heart was not ready to embrace such a vision and that I was not yet equipped to be an active player of the vision.  Knowledge, skill, wisdom, and understanding were all needed before the vision could take place.  Is this the year for the vision to begin manifestation?  Jesus issued a “call” to the rich young ruler to respond.  He failed to act according to all he had learned.  He had no faith in the very presence of the Son of GOD.  How will you respond when you hear the Call?
