Hardness of the Heart

On Sunday in our live broadcast of our weekly Bible study, we discussed “hardness of the heart”.  Let’s review.  In Mark 6, Jesus fed the five thousand men (besides women and children) with loaves and fishes, a display of His command over GOD particles.  Immediately He made His disciples get into the boat and go before Him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while He sent the multitude away. And when He had sent them away, He departed to the mountain to pray.

I would suggest to you that Jesus was accessing “Divine Intent” of Our Heavenly Father.  He had understanding of the Non-Quantum aspects of Elohim and was receiving instruction.  The Divine Intent is Love-based and cannot be affected by the Quantum realm where work is done.  The Divine Intent precedes work or action.  Jesus told us He only did according to what He heard from His Father.  Once He finished praying on the mountain, He is then seen walking on the water.  The waves and wind were great, an indication of resistance in the quantum realm to Divine Intent.  Dr. Speckhart would refer to this being an aspect of “anti-particles”.

As many of us know, the disciples saw Jesus walking on the water.  Peter temporarily walked on the water with Jesus until fear entered in.  For a few moments, Peter had command of GOD particles as well.  From the boat, Peter called out to Jesus “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”  So He said, “Come.”  Jesus spoke one word, Peter heard and responded to the one word, and then his faith was sufficient to temporarily walk on water.

A key point is both Jesus and Peter walked on water.  Command of GOD particles is not waiting for some future event to take place but is lawfully accessible now.  We tend to delay responsibility and accountability to a future event.  Now is the time.  Today is the day.  In the Gospel of Mark, we are given the reason for the disciples’ amazement of Jesus walking on the water.  After all, they had just seen Him multiply loaves and fishes to feed the multitudes.  What was the problem?

Mark 6:51 Then He went up into the boat to them, and the wind ceased. And they were greatly amazed in themselves beyond measure, and marveled. 52 For they had not understood about the loaves, because their heart was hardened (G4456).

Strong’s G4456 – pōroō

  1. to cover with a thick skin, to harden by covering with a callus

  2. metaph.

    1. to make the heart dull

    2. to grow hard, callous, become dull, lose the power of understanding

This word and usage would denote that they had lost understanding, they had become dull of hearing.  Let us not fall prey to the loss of understanding.  Let us continue in Love, faith, and hope that Paul spoke of in Thessalonians 1: “remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father”.

We must labor in Love to enter into HIS rest for we have a promise of “Rest”.  In Psalm 95, the revelation of Rest is mentioned:

9  “Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, As in the day of trial in the wilderness,

When your fathers tested Me;

They tried Me, though they saw My work.

10  For forty years I was grieved with that generation,

And said, ‘It is a people who go astray in their hearts,

And they do not know My ways.’

11 So I swore in My wrath,

‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ”

We must not become dull of hearing and understanding as the children of Israel in the Wilderness.  We must have ears to hear and not allow our understanding to become “dull”.  We must allow Wisdom from Above to correct us and adjust our walk accordingly.  Let’s face it, our reasoning cannot get us to the point of walking on water.  We must be able to hear and understand.  We must be able to access the Divine Intent of Our Heavenly Father’s heart.  Love is in the center of HIS heart.  If we purpose to walk in Love, we will soon be found worthy of accessing the Divine Intent.  HE will not give access to a worldly and lawless group of people who would use the power to consume it on their lusts.  Wisdom realizes there is a door.  The key to the door is Love.  Understanding knows where to place the key to unlock the door.  Faith turns the key.  Hope pulls the knob.  Lawfulness allows entry past the threshold.

Hebrews 4:8  For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day. 9  There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. 10  For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

The Non-Quantum correlates to “Rest”.  Divine Intent has no resistance or work associated with it.  When we are able to access the Non-Quantum, resistance will depart, chaos will depart, abnormality will depart.  Healing, restoration, and blessing occur when the resistance is removed.  Multiplication of loaves, walking on water, healing the sick should become commonplace as we labor in Love to enter into HIS rest:

Hebrews 4:11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.

Remember: “Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established.”  Let our hearts not become hardened.
