Mercy, Peace, and Love

Jude 1:2 May mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you.  NASB

As you focus on a greater revelation of Love, mercy and peace increase in your life.  I am a testimony of that reality.  Additionally, faith in Our Heavenly Father increases.  As Love permeates your essence, you begin to change.  Your outlook and your priorities align with HIS plan.  Your sensitivity to THE SPIRIT increases and you begin to tap into HIS riches in glory.  Adversity no longer moves you as it once did.  You look at others through a different set of eyes.  You know have compassion has a primary motivation in your life.  Your aura appeals to babies as they pass by you, they gaze at you with interest.

We are given adversity to mature us.  We are given a daily report card of our progress as we are bombarded with challenges.  As a notable revelation and/or manifestation is about to arrive, you can be sure that the adversary’s focus on you will be much greater.  Just as Jesus was tested prior to the fullness of His calling, each of us will be subjected to our own test to pass and satisfy the requirement of being fully matured.

As we impart mercy, we receive mercy.  “Give and it shall be given unto you” is a basic law we should not forget in our maturing process.  It works in many realms.  As we see others as Our Heavenly Father’s workmanship and know that if they are currently vessels of dishonor, we can be assured that the Potter will reform them into vessels of honor.  The only question is “when”.  The Creator has full authority over the created.  Nobody is here by mistake.  The devil’s calling included testing Jesus in the wilderness.  He did his job appropriately.  Some are called to be instruments of judgment.  Others are called to be instruments of mercy.  Those who embrace the revelation of Love will operate in the latter.

Romans 15:13  Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

The power of the Holy Ghost increases as you walk in Love.  Paul understood this.  He received a full expression of Love from Our Lord Jesus Christ on the road to Damascus.  He was converted from a vessel of dishonor to a vessel of honor.  Love, mercy, peace, and hope abounded in his life.  Adversity had no hold on him as he spread the Gospel.  He was at peace no matter what circumstance presented itself.  Who better to write on Love than the one who received much Love and forgiveness.

Are you running low on mercy, peace, or Love?  I have good news, they can “multiply” in your life.  As Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 13:11:

Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
