The true Treasury is not Egyptian artifacts, fiat currencies, gold, silver, or other tangible assets. The Apostle Paul states:
Colossians 2:1 For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh,
2 that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,
3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
Wisdom, understanding, and knowledge from Above are the real treasures. “IN HIM” is where those treasures are stored. There are those who are solely focused on the wealth of the world and believe they are called to manage that wealth. If that is what is in their hearts, let them pursue that path. As for me, being IN HIM is treasure enough. I gladly give up the corruptible for the incorruptible.
Our Heavenly Father orchestrated the depositing of the Egyptian artifacts with me as a test. Would I pursue the things of this world? I was not moved by their value or scarcity. When the time arrived, I was glad to be rid of them. The Iraqi Dinar was deposited with the legal right to exchange them for US Dollars. I knew the intent of the givers- await revaluation before exchanging them. It was necessary to do nothing with them since the intent was clear. Once again, Our Heavenly Father instructed me to distribute the deposit to someone who understood the intent. This deposit is a type and shadow of the current age just as the artifacts represented the previous age. My focus is on the age to come. I believe the true treasury is found IN HIM. Yes, we must occupy till that time is fully manifested. In the meantime, HE will supply our need according to HIS riches. We will all see how this plays out before are eyes. Let’s do some knitting.
