Good, Better, and Best

When it comes to health and healing, which would you prefer?  Good, better, or best?  We are currently living in a time where we have been subtly directed to move down the scale toward “good”.  We have been bombarded with toxins from all directions as a result of following lawless practices in farming.  I asked my friend Loren, a lifetime farmer, how he dealt with insect problems.  His reply, “Grow a healthy plant.”

Our body Is designed to live forever and it is designed to heal itself.  Those are the two truths Dr. Speckhart would proclaim during various discussions about alternative medicine.  The pharmaceutical companies would have us believe that sickness and disease are due to a lack of their product.  The American society has been dumbed down to rely on pills for health rather than faith in Our Heavenly Father’s willingness to heal our infirmities.  As a whole, we have become weak in faith to the point of being faithless.

Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

My mandate is to point you to a direct relationship with FATHER, not some god in a distant galaxy.  Are you diligently seeking HIM or are you diligently seeking those whom you believe have a special anointing as though their anointing will somehow rub off on you?  When Jesus told the disciples that He must leave in order for the Comforter to come, He omitted any discussion about departing so thousands and thousands of books could be written for mankind to learn more about FATHER.  Wasn’t HIS Holy Spirit sufficient to lead us and guide us into all Truth in Love?  Consider what David wrote in Psalm 43:

3 Oh, send out Your light and Your truth!

Let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your tabernacle.

4 Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy;

And on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.

5 Why are you cast down, O my soul?  And why are you disquieted within me?

Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

Don’t misunderstand me, teaching aids are good and helpful in our maturing process.  However, they should not replace our time with FATHER but instead should enrich it.

I am not against doctors or pills (good).  If you cannot seem to recover from a malady, by all means seek assistance.  I am not against alternative medicines and methods such as essential oils, electro-dermal screening (EDS) and associated technologies, and other non-invasive methodologies (better).  If they work for you then by all means don’t quit using those methods to gain relief.  My interest is in believing the Word of FATHER that HE will heal our sicknesses and infirmities (best).  Divine health is a blessing and it is FATHER’S Divine Intent that we walk in this state.  As we focus on our relationship with HIM, we should expect improved health as a result:

Exodus 23:25   “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you.”

Matthew 4:23   And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Matthew 10:1   And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

In the past, I have attended many Pentecostal “healing” meetings.  Being realistic, I would say that 5 to 10% of the people received healing on the spot.  Others did not yet Jesus healed all manner of sickness and disease except when there was unbelief:

Matthew 13:53  Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, that He departed from there.

54 When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works?

55 Is this not the carpenter’s son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas?

56 And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?”

57 So they were offended at Him.  But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.”

58 Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

If you never spend time with HIM, your unbelief will be in empowered and in control of your destiny.  As we move toward a moment by moment relationship with FATHER, HE will move us toward better health.  HIS Holy Spirit will increase our awareness of those nutrients that our specific body needs.  We will be drawn to those minerals that we are missing.  HE will lead us and guide us into all Truth and that does not exclude the area of health.  If we need healing, we will begin to trust in HIS Promises of Blessing over the other means of treatment.

There has been an overall “silence” for the last 20 years, especially in the U.S. in the area of healing.  The major healing ministries have generally ceased with the passing of the one who headed up the organization.  The Pentecostal anointing had to subside and end before the Tabernacles anointing would come forth.  I believe FATHER wants no one to associate this new anointing with the old, somehow considering it to be renewed or revived.  It was necessary for the old to pass away, behold all things are new.  I am anticipating FATHER empowering those who Love HIM and share HIS Love for mankind to soon be endued with power and authority.  I believe this anointing to bring a full close to the Age of Pentecost will include what Jesus imparted to the twelve disciples but in a greater degree.  There will be no question that those with this ministry are sent from FATHER.  They will be in contrast to those who society relies on today.  A new standard of Love and Truth will be raised and the nations will be healed.  We will once again see HIS “best” in contrast to “good” and “better”.
