Love in Action

Acts 9:32 Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he also came down to the saints who dwelt in Lydda.

33 There he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden eight years and was paralyzed.

34 And Peter said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ heals you. Arise and make your bed.” Then he arose immediately.

35 So all who dwelt at Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.

The disciples went out into the world and preached the Gospel.  Signs and wonders followed them.  Where is that happening today in the U.S.?  Frankly, I don’t see it and if it is happening on a major scale, no one is talking.  Yes there are isolated healings here and there but there appears to be no major move in the U.S.  If anything, there is a continual increase in sin and lawlessness.  The Truth has been perverted and now sin is accepted by the masses.  How much longer will FATHER withhold HIS judgment on the U.S.?

Those of us who believe that Love is the true answer to the problems around the world continue to prepare to be lights unto all the world.  It seems that FATHER is taking away alternatives to HIS direct healing power.  Our own EDS project speaks of this in that our manufacturing expert kept failing to deliver a rather simple project.  The door could not be opened.  The central planners continue attacking the alternative medicine and supplement industry in an effort to shut it down at the bequest of the large pharmaceutical companies.  Greed has taken control of healthcare for now.

What is the answer?  Love in action.  The disciples had two sets of adversaries when Jesus walked the earth-  Rome and the Jewish leaders.  Both thirsted after power yet the disciples continued their mandate to spread the Gospel throughout the known world.  It is no different today.  Mystery Babylon and the quest for power continue to challenge the Gospel.  We must expect FATHER to endue us with power from On High and confirm HIS Love by ministering life and healing to those whom HE sends us.  We are entering a new Age of Tabernacles and those with a pure heart will be the ones HE uses to spread HIS Gospel.

What should we be doing in the meantime?  We should be Love in action by planting seeds of Love to those whom we come in contact.  We must become consistent in our Love walk rather than just having “events”.  As our Love is expressed, it will grow in outward strength.  We will produced fruit of THE SPIRIT.  Peter denied Christ yet Jesus’ Love for Peter was greater than his sin of denial and thus Peter was empowered by the Holy Spirit to spread the Gospel.  We too must not look back at our past failures but instead press on to the high calling.

When Aeneas was healed, people turned to THE LORD.  People need to see the manifestation of The Gospel to believe.  They need to see examples of the power of FATHER in a known situation in order to believe.  They have no faith and only seeing is believing.  We need to plant seeds of faith as well.  If there is no seed, there is no crop to harvest.  Men are void of HIS Word in their lives thus they cannot walk in faith.  They need to hear the Gospel but what will draw them to hear it?  It is Love in its purest form.

36 At Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which is translated Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charitable deeds which she did.

37 But it happened in those days that she became sick and died. When they had washed her, they laid her in an upper room.

People are dying of sickness and disease all of the time in our midst.  Is it FATHER’S Will for people to die from sickness and disease?  Isn’t it FATHER’S Will for those whose time it is to pass on, to simply fall asleep and check out?

38 And since Lydda was near Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent two men to him, imploring him not to delay in coming to them.

39 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he had come, they brought him to the upper room. And all the widows stood by him weeping, showing the tunics and garments which Dorcas had made while she was with them.

40 But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up.

41 Then he gave her his hand and lifted her up; and when he had called the saints and widows, he presented her alive.

We must no longer accept “good” or “better” but we must expect the “best”.  It is HIS Perfect Will for us to do greater things than HIS first begotten Son.  We must forge ahead and focus on walking according to HIS Spirit and lay down every weight that hinders our progress.  We must expect and anticipate a greater anointing than what we have walked in previously.  For some that may have been no perceived anointing.  Do not let that dissuade you from expecting something greater.  We are given excellent examples of Peter and Paul to show how FATHER will turn men around and use them for HIS Glory.  What was the result of Tabitha being raised from the dead?

42 And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed on the Lord.

This is Love in action.
