In the last twelve months there has been a prevailing theme of bookends which I became aware while visiting my cousin on Fox Island, Washington State. As usual, my wife unknowingly alerted me to the subtlety of what was going on. We started getting closure on many “cycles” of varying lengths. The second bookend was being placed as a reference point of completion. In an increasing frequency, bookends are being set and loose ends are being unexpectedly resolved. As we purpose to walk fully submitted to FATHER’S SPIRIT, things and issues get removed from us and we able to walk in a freedom not experienced until now. We finally come to the end of ourselves and let FATHER work things out on our behalf. We begin to move and have our being IN HIM.
On August 10th, a notable activation in the Spiritual occurred that I have yet to fully comprehend. The other bookend to an activation is an authentication. Let me explain by an example in Acts. I am now fully convinced that before the Day of Pentecost was to manifest, a couple of bookends had to be established. A bookend can complete one phase and begin another phase. In Acts chapter 1, Jesus had just completed 40 days of instruction with the disciples and had ascended. Now they are all in one accord waiting on the Promise:
12 Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey.
13 And when they had entered, they went up into the upper room where they were staying: Peter, James, John, and Andrew; Philip and Thomas; Bartholomew and Matthew; James the son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot; and Judas the son of James.
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
The only way for about 120 people to be in unity is to look to FATHER’S perfect plan and will as the basis of their focus and belief. Without any disputing:
15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples…
As my friend Kemper appropriately noted, this represents the pillar of Truth being raised up and a pillar is like a “bookend”. Of a Truth did they need to replace Judas as the 12th disciple prior to the Day of Pentecost and not have the office of treasurer be left vacant. This tells us that FATHER’S government will not be incomplete and the treasury is as important to HIM as any other office in HIS Kingdom. Only after the office had been filled would everything be in place for the next Age to come forth. The pillar of Truth must be raised up prior to manifestation of that fateful day.
But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel
Soon after filling the treasurer position, the Day of Pentecost was at hand. An authentication of what had been spoken of (activated) the the Holy Spirit would now be observed by mankind:
Acts 2:1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Once again the pillar of Truth arose and revealed what was happening:
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words.
15 For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day.
16 But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
In this short time, the bookend completing the “government” aspect of the Kingdom by restoring the 12 disciple had been activated and authenticated by the second time when Peter stood up with “the eleven”, not “the ten”. Secondly, the bookend of what was spoken by the prophet Joel (activated) was now being authenticated.
I am now anticipating further activations are now at hand. When FATHER activates callings, it is because there is a need arising that must have these callings in place. These activations will minister life during any form or type of judgment coming upon the earth. FATHER always has a remnant in place to lead people from death to life. This time will be no different. HE will place the appropriate bookend in place and leave no loose ends for us to deal with on our own.
