Purpose

What is the point of your time on earth?  It is to be fruitful, multiply, and have dominion as FATHER told Adam In Genesis chapter 1:

28  Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

The mandate has not changed though man has added and subtracted his own opinion arising out of his soul.  The first of the three aspects of purpose is to be fruitful.  This fruitfulness means to be productive in the area of your gifts and calling.  If you are a carpenter you should look for opportunities to be a blessing in your craft.  If you are an artist you should seek to produce magnificent works in the area of your anointing.  There is an overall mandate that Jesus gave to His disciples which does include all believers.  It is found in Mark chapter 16:

15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”

This commission is for all believers not just evangelists.  You might say that you don’t feel equipped to preach the Gospel and I say let your actions speak loudly to those you come in contact with on a daily basis.  As you become a blessing with your gifts and attitude, people will inquire about your beliefs.  They will want to know what brings you such peace in your life.  Not all of us are called to the office of evangelist but we can evangelize one at a time.

When you give to a bona fide ministry you are participating in the Great Commission.  My family has supported ministries in the past which have evangelized various parts of Africa, Asia, and South America.  It please FATHER for us to give and support this effort.  The Body of Christ is meant to be a living organism with each part being fruitful in its purposeful manner.  Each part of the Body should give unconditionally to the other parts.

FATHER told Jesus to express the following words in Mark 16:

17 “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Is there any sick among your family or friends?  Have you encountered anyone who appeared to be oppressed by a demon?  When confronted with these situations what did Jesus do?  He healed them all.  What have we been doing?  Recommending the best healthcare professional.  Of late I have been writing in the area of healing and what Jesus taught about it.  It is my belief and experience that the Word has power to cause itself to come to pass but we must know and immerse ourselves in that Word for it to be effective in our lives.  Smith Wigglesworth was a plumber who became a great evangelist.  T.L. Osborn grew up in a small town in Eastern Oklahoma and became a world evangelist.  These were ordinary men FATHER anointed with HIS power to do great works.  We too should expect HIM to use us even if it is one-on-one in ministry.

Let our Love not grow cold but let the Word energize our Love so that we fulfill the purpose given to us before we were formed in the womb.  Embrace your purpose and spend quality time with FATHER for HE is your biggest supporter.  There are none who are sick in Heaven so let us bring Heaven to earth.  Isn’t that one aspect of having dominion?
