Does FATHER Want You Well?

Does Our Heavenly want us to live a healthy life?  The answer is yes and even more so than an earthly father and mother wants the best for their child.  By THE SPIRIT Luke wrote in chapter 11:

11 If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish?

12 Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”

None of us can fathom the Love FATHER has for us and HE simply tells us to ask in faith, doubting not.  Faith, trust, and belief are all related when it comes to receiving from FATHER.  If there is any issue in receiving we must conclude  it has to do with us and our current state.  FATHER does not change but on the other hand we need to change when we are not walking according to HIS promises.  I have come to embrace change in my life rather than try to defend why I am lacking in some area casting the blame elsewhere.  Isaiah wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 53:

4 Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows;

Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted.

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,

He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,

And by His stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way;

And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

FATHER likens us to sheep who have gone astray, going our own way based on our mind, will, and emotions.  Our ego causes us to believe men who use soulish means to convince us to accept their doctrines which depart from the Truth in FATHER’S Word.  We will then read Scripture with embedded bias causing us to err in our understanding.  This is one reason for all the different dominations in every city.  In John chapter 10 Jesus speaks:

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.”

Jesus Who fully reflects FATHER’S Will gives His life for us in all areas just as the shepherd gives his life to protect his sheep from the wolves.  Sheep are incapable of protecting themselves without the shepherd and this metaphor is most appropriate in all areas of our life.  The shepherd represents unconditional Love for his sheep just as Jesus represents unconditional Love for us.  He took on stripes so that we would be healed of sickness and disease.  He took on the cross to enable us to be fully reconciled to FATHER.

Every word and action by Jesus is intended to make us whole in all areas of our lives and His actions and words were all directed by FATHER for our specific benefit.  We should take the opportunity to receive the fullness of FATHER’S Word in every area of our life so that we will fully mature and become overcomers of the world.  I must allow HIS Word to become greater in me than the logic and reasoning of my mind.  My eyes see failure of men in the area of sickness and disease thus my mind wants to view this as acceptable yet The Word tells me otherwise.  FATHER wants me to accept HIS Word and not my observation which is temporary by nature.  I am determined to stand on HIS Word and not my own understanding based on logic and reasoning.  I only have to look at past failures of my logic to convince me WHO I should follow.

As for me, I will follow the Good Shepherd WHO leads me to still waters and WHO heals and restores me in all areas of my life, my body included.  Join me in exalting OUR LORD above all else and let THE LORD be magnified in our individual lives above all we see and hear in this world.
