Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 3:
14 For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,
Our inner man can and will be strengthened with might through The Holy Spirit. By HIS glorious, unlimited resources, FATHER will empower you and me with inner strength so that we can walk according to HIS glory. Paul prayed this prayer because he knew it to be true so we should expect it to occur in our lives without reservation. His prayer also bases the ability to walk according to HIS glory on certain conditions being met. Paul continues:
17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—
19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Love and faith are necessary to being filled with the fullness. Our comprehension to pursuing the fullness requires us to be fully rooted and grounded in Love. The intellectual person will spend countless hours gathering facts in Scripture hoping to find the key to understanding but without Love being the foundation, the revelation will be out of reach. Only by focusing on Love, its attributes, and its fruit will we be prepared to be filled with the fullness.
Jesus was fully motivated by Love in all that He did and all that He spoke. His commandment was centered around Love. FATHER sent Him because HE so Loved the world. I marvel at those people who claim to be mature in Christ yet they do not have the revelation of Love, based on their word and deed. Each day we should be looking to be a blessing of Love to others. Our daily lives should be filled with acts of kindness and forgiveness. We should live each day with gratefulness for simply being alive at this hour. As we walk in this manner, we will be filled with the fullness. Thank YOU FATHER for providing The Way!
