Preparing For Warfare

As we spiritually mature, we will confront opposition to our walk.  This is why it is important to become vigilant in our daily lives and continue to prepare for this eventuality.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 6:

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

Paul provides us with the most important aspect of overcoming the wicked one: the shield of faith which is strengthened by the indwelling Word of GOD in us.  Don’t think you can be slack for days, weeks, months, and years then expect to overcome all the fiery darts of the wicked one.  This is one of the many reasons FATHER has me write to you daily.

There are signs of upheaval ahead and we should be prepared as lights unto a world whose past perceptions and assumptions will be shaken.  Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 7:

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:

27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

Jesus provides us a stark contrast of doing versus not doing His Word.  Who else would we trust to take us through chaos and collapse of Mystery Babylon’s fall?  Let us not become collateral damage when the systems no longer work because the perceptions based on smoke and mirrors are finally exposed.  It is only a matter of time when Truth will expose the lies and deceptions of carnal man.

28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching,

29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

We have been warned.  Don’t be one the the “astonished”!
