The Fullness Of Faith

Luke wrote by THE SPIRIT in chapter 5:

17 Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

18 Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him.

19 And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus.

20 When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”

21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts?

23 Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’?

24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

25 Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God and were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today!”

Jesus established the reality of His two-fold mission to not only provide salvation to mankind but also healing of our bodies.  “Which is easier?” He said.  Of course, the answer is “Both are equally easy.”  Once we grasp this Truth, we will come to expect the healing of our bodies to occur through faith in Christ and His work at the cross.  Clearly, the pharmaceutical companies are competing for our attention and our money.  What would happen if all of the Sons and Daughters were to walk in the power of the Lord to heal?  This is one of the Truths we must pursue in its fullness.  This power to heal is meant to solely exalt Jesus Christ and Our Heavenly Father.  The problem in the recent past is that healing ministries allowed self interest to prevail thus compromising their calling.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 13:

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself (boast or vaunt), is not puffed up;

5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own (self-seeking), is not provoked, thinks no evil;

6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;

7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

We must not allow ourselves to become boastful, puffed up, behave rudely, or seek out our own self interest.  As we mature in Agape Love, the power of the Lord will be present to heal those we encounter.  Let us pursue the fullness of Love as we also walk in the fullness of faith.  Paul understood this Truth as he was led by THE SPIRIT to write in Galatians chapter 5:

6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

As we become mature in both Love and faith, we will experience the power of the Lord flowing through us to minister life and healing to others, similar to our Elder Brother Jesus.
