Our Priority

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Psalm 46:

10  Be still, and know that I am God;

I will be exalted among the nations,

I will be exalted in the earth!

To know means to recognize and understand.  My intent is to assist you in your maturing process IN CHRIST.  Each of us has the Mind of Christ resident in us and FATHER awaits our realization of the power and its potential which currently lies dormant in most.  Our unbelief is the biggest hindrance to walking in this power but as we continue to press in, we will recognize and understand what it means to be a Son or Daughter of THE MOST HIGH.  When this occurs, FATHER will be exalted among the nations and in the earth.

Peter wrote by THE SPIRIT in his first Epistle in chapter 5:

6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,

7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

As we humble ourselves, at the appropriate time FATHER will exalt us.  This requires us to walk in faith with full assurance that The Holy Spirit will guide us in all we say and do.  Yes, we must be vigilant because the devil and his “sons” will attempt to derail us from our gifts and calling.  The devil promotes confusion and perversion thus the masses are walking around producing the corresponding fruit.  If you step back, you can easily identify the silliness of what is being promoted today.  It simply makes no sense to those with eyes to see.

In order to resist the devil, we must know The Word in the same manner as Jesus resisted the devil.  Each of us has the opportunity to become steadfast in faith by simply placing The Word as our top priority each day.

Am I going to suffer?  Yes, but our suffering will be temporary and it will be used to perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle us.  There is a lot of truth in the saying “no pain, no gain”.  We are to be strong and of good courage, not lazy, timid, and fearful of what may happen tomorrow.  Let us not become dull of hearing but let our faith grow strong in preparation of the trials and challenges we will surely face.

At the appropriate time, FATHER will judge the lawlessness and perversion promoted by the world.  Why should we try to predict this “appropriate” time when we have more important matters to consider?  There are many believers fixated on current world events at the expense of personal spiritual development.  In Matthew chapter 13, Jesus explained the parable of the tares:

36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.”

37 He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.

39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.

40 Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age.

41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,

42 and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

Yes, there are tares everywhere we look but know this, FATHER has a plan to deal with the tares.  Our focus is to mature into the full stature as Sons and Daughters and not be so concerned about the day or the hour that FATHER dispatches the angels to gather up the tares.
