Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 2:
6 Yet when we are among the full-grown (spiritually mature Christians who are ripe in understanding), we do impart a higher wisdom (the knowledge of the divine plan previously hidden); but it is indeed not a wisdom of this present age or of this world nor of the leaders and rulers of this age, who are being brought to nothing and are doomed to pass away.
Paul clearly states there are two levels of wisdom: the wisdom of the world and the Wisdom from Above. The world’s wisdom is doomed to failure and will pass away. Those with eyes to see frequently observe this reality as mankind is constantly attempting to deal with their unsolvable problems without success.
7 But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden from the human understanding and now revealed to us by God—that wisdom which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification- to lift us into the glory of His presence.
FATHER does not hide HIS Wisdom from HIS mature Sons and Daughters. HE is willing to reveal certain mysteries as we are able to properly administer HIS Wisdom in our daily affairs. HIS Wisdom is outlandish to those who cannot grasp HIS Divine Intent of Love for they cannot see the outcome in the spirit. They have little or no faith in FATHER’S ability to bring forth HIS Word in their lives. Consequently, they cannot walk in complete peace.
8 None of the rulers of this age or world perceived and recognized and understood this, for if they had, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory.
Some of the smartest and well-educated men could not perceive, recognize, or understand who was standing before them. This ought to comfort us in that we are not required to have a PhD in Theology to be led by THE SPIRIT and be used mightily by FATHER. The smartest guys around killed the SON of GOD. As Paul stated in chapter 3:
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”;
20 and again, “The LORD knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.”
As we grasp this Truth, our walk becomes more peaceful. We are no longer moved by smooth talking individuals who will try to steer us off the path of our calling.
9 But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, all that God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who (Agape) love Him who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed. AMPL
FATHER has withheld certain mysteries from all of mankind. The one qualification to receive those mysteries is to walk in the revelation of Agape Love. Paul understood this first hand for he was well educated and trained by the finest instructor yet he had been blinded by the world’s wisdom until Jesus revealed Himself to Paul on the road to Damascus.
We should expect FATHER to reveal those mysteries which have been reserved for this particular time in history. HE is more than willing to show HIS mature Sons and Daughters these specific mysteries for they will not misuse what has been revealed to them. They will not “package them up” and sell revelation as some have attempted to do in the past. These mysteries will assist us as we fulfill our individual callings and bless those around us.
