Our Holy Firstfruits

FATHER did not come up with the idea of the tithe and then create us to submit to it.  The tithe is for our benefit and to help us fulfill our calling.  The 10% was never yours or mine, it sets apart the whole as being Holy and off limits to the devourer.

Let’s take a close look at Malachi chapter 3 which was written by The Holy Spirit:

8 “Will a man rob God?

Yet you have robbed Me!

But you say,

‘In what way have we robbed You?’

In tithes and offerings.

9 You are cursed with a curse,

For you have robbed Me,

Even this whole nation.

10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,

That there may be food in My house,

And try (H974) Me now in this,”

Says the LORD of hosts,

“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven

And pour out for you such blessing

That there will not be room enough to receive it.

11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,

So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,

Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”

Says the LORD of hosts;

12 And all nations will call you blessed,

For you will be a delightful land,”

Says the LORD of hosts.

Where else in Scripture does FATHER say to “test” HIM or HIS Word?  This shows us how important it is for us to understand the benefit of tithes and offerings to us.  HE commits to rebuke the devourer for our sakes and HE commits to open up the windows of Heaven to pour out blessings to us.  What will be the result of my tithing?  All the nations will call me blessed.

The tithe protects the rest of our income from the devourer.  This Truth is also found in Romans chapter 11, written by The Holy Spirit:

16  For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

Jesus spoke the following parable in Luke 13:

20 Jesus taught them another parable: “How can I describe God’s kingdom realm? Let me give you this illustration: 21 It is like something as small as yeast that a woman kneads into a large amount of dough. It works unseen until it permeates the entire batch and rises high.”

When we tithe, the rest of the income we receive is Holy unto FATHER as well.  We need to understand this Truth so that we can proclaim it and be thankful when we give.  We will no longer see it as anything but an act of Love toward FATHER by giving HIM what is already HIS to begin with.  This act reinforces our position against greed and idol worship.  The tithe permeates all aspects of our life and we begin to see the blessings surrounding us.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 5:

17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Is the revelation of the Divine Intent of the tithe part of FATHER’S Law?  Isn’t this the one command HE said to test HIM in?

A law is a rule, particularly an established or permanent rule, prescribed by the supreme power of a state to its subjects, for regulating their actions, particularly their social actions. Laws are imperative or mandatory, commanding what shall be done; prohibitory, restraining from what is to be forborne; or permissive, declaring what may be done without incurring a penalty.

It is my responsibility to teach FATHER’S Divine Intent of Love toward us.  This includes showing others The Way out of enslavement by the world.  Tithing requires us to have faith in FATHER’S Word and expect HIS Word to come to pass in our life.  I can attest to the benefits of tithing thus I am speaking from experience.

It is up to each of us to get the revelation of this benefit because it is counterintuitive to what the world promotes… as usual.  FATHER says to test HIM.  Isn’t that a command as well?

FATHER sanctifies and protects the “whole” by receiving the tithe and as a result HE protects us from loss to the devourer who will steal from us without hesitation.  HE created boundaries for us in all areas, not for restriction but to benefit, protect us, and promote our Divine purpose.  Let our finances reflect HIS Divine Intent as well.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2 Corinthians chapter 9:

6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 9 As it is written:

“He has dispersed abroad,

He has given to the poor;

His righteousness endures forever.”

10 Now may HE who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, 11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God. 12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God, 13 while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men, 14 and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you. 15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!

Servias Ministries accepts tithes and offerings.  Since our overhead is extremely low, most of your giving will be directed to our current focus of helping impoverished children.  Be assured that their angels are communicating the blessings before FATHER’S Face on the behalf of those who support this ministry.  If you are not led to join us in this project, ask FATHER where to direct your giving.  It is FATHER’S Will that we bear much fruit… including our finances.  FATHER doesn’t want our 10%, HE wants us!
