Being A Good Receiver Too

We cannot be afraid of being in need thus living our lives in fear.  As we walk out the contents of our books (Psalm 139:16) which determined our destiny, FATHER will provide provision for our daily lives.  We must be willing “receivers” in all areas and expect blessing to come our way.  Let us not be reluctant to be led by The Holy Spirit in this area.  Reluctance is fear-based.

Angels are dispatched on our behalf the moment we obey FATHER and their job is to bring forth the resources required to fulfill FATHER’S Word.  It is up to each of us to actively respond to FATHER’S Word.  If you sit around and do nothing, that is exactly what you will receive… nothing.

I can attest to these teachings because they have been a reality in my family for years thus I don’t write from “theory” but instead I am writing from personal experience in responding to The Word.  We must not limit Our Heavenly Father from lack of revelation but we must embrace HIS Word and expect It to apply to each of us.  Let us remove our mind’s restrictions and allow The Word to prosper us in every area of our lives.

In order to be a good giver, you have to be a good receiver.  FATHER opens up doors for the purpose of blessing us so we must learn to expect the unexpected.  As it is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 11:

6 And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that HE is real and that HE rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking HIM.

And In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus spoke:

7 “Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. 8 For every persistent one will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he longs for. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door.

9 “Do you know of any parent who would give his hungry child, who asked for food, a plate of rocks instead? 10 Or when asked for a piece of fish, what parent would offer his child a snake instead? 11 If you, imperfect as you are, know how to lovingly take care of your children and give them what’s best, how much more ready is Your Heavenly Father to give wonderful gifts to those who ask him?”

We don’t have to overanalyze the above passage for we need to simply be persistent in our seeking of the intimate relationship with FATHER which is based on Agape Love.  When our focus is on HIM, HE desires to fulfill our needs and desires in a righteous manner.  Faith is not a system where you quote verses 100 times in order to wear out Our Heavenly Father until HE responds.  It is a relationship between FATHER and HIS children as Jesus spoke in the above passage.

Agape Love is all about relationship.  When we have a close relationship, there is no fear, uncertainty, or doubt.  This is why I emphasize the need to hear THE LORD in every area of your life.  If you are led to give, then give.  If you are being sent, then go.  If you are told to wait on THE LORD and do nothing, then wait until you hear HIS Directive.

We know we are told to be givers, the only question is to whom.  If you are not giving at all, then there is a “fear” issue which needs to be rooted out.  Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 6:

38 “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Jesus gave us this directive for our own benefit.  Generous givers will receive a generous reward.  When you engage the Kingdom, you come against what Satan is doing and this is one aspect of being an Overcomer.  It just as important to be a receiver as it is a giver.  Yes, there is a difference between a “receiver” and a “taker”.
