Spirit of Acceptance

It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in Psalm 139:

5 YOU’VE gone into my future to prepare the way,

and in kindness YOU follow behind me

to spare me from the harm of my past.

With YOUR hand of Love upon my life,

YOU impart a blessing to me.

6 This is just too wonderful, deep, and incomprehensible!

YOUR understanding of me brings me wonder and strength.

FATHER not only thought us into being and wrote a book about us based on HIS Divine Intent, HE prepares our future as we walk according to the leading of The Holy Spirit.  Additionally, HE spares us from the harm we created in our past actions and thoughts which were contrary to HIS Word.  Isn’t that the epitome of Agape Love?  Shouldn’t we walk in the same manner toward others?

How can I walk in this same Love?  It is only by maturing in the leading of The Holy Spirit else, my intervention in another person’s life will be less effective.  Who else knows the hearts of men besides FATHER?  What is in a man’s heart is a mystery to you and me but FATHER knows and The Holy Spirit will minister accordingly.

Jesus revealed the ministry of The Holy Spirit to Paul as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

14 The mature children of GOD are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. 15 And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading you back into the fear of never being good enough. But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding you into the family of GOD. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join HIM in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!” 16 For the Holy Spirit makes GOD’S Fatherhood real to us as He whispers into our innermost being, “You are GOD’S beloved child!”

17 And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all HIS treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of GOD himself. And since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that He is and all that He has.

Jesus never missed it when He ministered during His 3 ½ years on earth.  You never heard the disciples correct Him or console Him because of failure.  Jesus got it right every time and we can walk in that same manner as well if we will continue progressing in our development of walking in the fullness of The Holy Spirit.

Agape Love draws and leads me toward full maturity for I want to minister life to those around me.  I now have increased compassion for those who are in need where I can impact their lives in a positive manner.   Jesus had compassion for the poor and needy, so do I.  The stronger are meant to minister to the weaker whereas the worldly seek to exploit the weak for personal gain.

You and I have received the “Spirit of full acceptance” so shouldn’t we promote life and acceptance to others?  The world would tell me that since I have been working and earning money from the age of ten, I have earned the right to put my life on “coast” and kick back.  What if FATHER took that attitude and ceased from HIS Divine Intent coming to manifestation?  As for me, I will continue toward maturing in being led by The Holy Spirit until my last breath!  What else is there that is everlasting?

Agape Love does not cease Its ministry to the poor and needy.  Love will find someone to carry out the Intent of FATHER and it might as well be you and me.  I have no interest in pursuing anything or any area simply to pass the time away.  Everything I focus on should be central to the leading of The Holy Spirit.  I purpose to be led in “when, where, why, and how long” of all my actions so that I reinforce my submission to FATHER’S Divine Intent for my life.  Is it hard?  Sometimes.  Have I screwed up?  More than most I would guess.  However, I have received the “Spirit of full acceptance”, emphasis on “full”.

I share some of my own challenges only to encourage you that each of us has to deal with our own weaknesses as we pursue the full maturity of being led by The Holy Spirit.  Some people attempt to project their lives as having no challenges thus causing the rest of us to feel inferior.  Neither you nor I are inferior in FATHER’S Eyes for HE unconditionally Loves each of us and only wants the best for us.  Passages such as found in Psalm 139 are a comfort to me as I deal with daily challenges in my own life.  Hopefully today’s writing is an encouragement to you in your own walk.
