A Portal Of HIS Power

The power of GOD is always present to heal and HE is always available but we don’t tap into IT, we have to yield to The Holy Spirit in order to walk in that power.  Jesus fully submitted to FATHER’S directives.  Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 26:

36 Then Jesus led his disciples to an orchard called “The Oil Press.” He told them, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.” 37 He took Peter, Jacob, and John with Him. However, an intense feeling of great sorrow plunged His soul into deep sorrow and agony. 38 And He said to them, “My heart is overwhelmed and crushed with grief. It feels as though I’m dying. Stay here and keep watch with Me.”

39 Then He walked a short distance away, and overcome with grief, He threw himself facedown on the ground and prayed, “My Father, if there is any way You can deliver Me from this suffering, please take it from Me. Yet what I want is not important, for I only desire to fulfill YOUR plan for Me.” Then an angel from Heaven appeared to strengthen him.

How many of us have fully come to the same place?  FATHER, I only desire to fulfill YOUR plan for me!  If we truly want to fully mature according to FATHER’S plan, we must be led by The Holy Spirit… especially in our weaknesses.  Jesus was overcome with grief yet He would not submit to that grief and turn away from FATHER’S plan.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

21 all creation longs for freedom from its slavery to decay and to experience with us the wonderful freedom coming to GOD’s children. 22 To this day we are aware of the universal agony and groaning of creation, as if it were in the contractions of labor for childbirth. 23 And it’s not just creation. We who have already experienced the firstfruits of the Spirit also inwardly groan as we passionately long to experience our full status as GOD’s Sons and Daughters—including our physical bodies being transformed. 24 For this is the hope of our salvation.

But hope means that we must trust and wait for what is still unseen. For why would we need to hope for something we already have? 25 So because our hope is set on what is yet to be seen, we patiently keep on waiting for its fulfillment.

26 And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to FATHER with emotional sighs too deep for words.

27 FATHER, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet HE also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before FATHER for us, his Holy ones, in perfect harmony with FATHER’S plan and our destiny.

28 So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into FATHER’S perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are HIS lovers who have been called to fulfill HIS designed purpose. 29 For HE knew all about us before we were born and HE destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of HIS Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like Him.

30 Having determined our destiny ahead of time, HE called us to HIMSELF and transferred HIS perfect righteousness to everyone HE called. And those who possess HIS perfect righteousness HE co-glorified with HIS Son!

As we submit to the Holy Spirit and pray in “Tongues”, FATHER enlightens our understanding in the areas of our weakness and we are brought into HIS destined plan to share the likeness of HIS Son in all areas.  This is when we begin to flow in the power which is present to heal and deliver.

Paul also wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 12:

7 The extraordinary level of the revelations I’ve received is no reason for anyone to exalt me. For this is why a thorn in my flesh was given to me, the Adversary’s messenger sent to harass me, keeping me from becoming arrogant. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to relieve me of this. 9 But HE answered me, “MY grace is always more than enough for you, and MY power finds Its full expression through your weakness.” So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me. 10 So I’m not defeated by my weakness, but delighted! For when I feel my weakness and endure mistreatment—when I’m surrounded with troubles on every side and face persecution because of my Love for Christ—I am made yet stronger. For my weakness becomes a portal to GOD’S power.
