Feasting On The Word

The mature Sons and Daughters actively do FATHER’S perfect plan, Will, and purpose on earth.  Jesus spoke in John chapter 6:

28 They replied, “So what should we do if we want to do God’s work?”

29 Jesus answered, “The work you can do for God starts with believing in the One HE has sent.”

30–31 They replied, “Show us a miracle so we can see it, and then we’ll believe in you. Moses took care of our ancestors who were fed by the miracle of manna every day in the desert, just like the Scripture says, ‘He fed them with bread from Heaven.’ What sign will you perform for us?”

32 “The Truth is,” Jesus said, “Moses didn’t give you the bread of Heaven. It’s My Father who offers bread that comes as a dramatic sign from Heaven. 33 The bread of God is the One who came out of Heaven to give His life to feed the world.”

34 “Then please, sir, give us this bread every day,” they replied.

35 Jesus said to them, “I am the Bread of Life. Come every day to me and you will never be hungry. Believe in me and you will never be thirsty. 36 Yet I’ve told you that even though you’ve seen Me, you still don’t believe in Me. 37 But everyone My Father has given to Me, they will come. And all who come to Me, I will embrace and will never turn them away. 38 And I have come out of Heaven not for My own desires, but for the satisfaction of My Father who sent Me. 39 My Father who sent Me has determined that I will not lose even one of those HE has given to me, and I will raise them up in the last day. 40 For the longing of My Father is that everyone who embraces the Son and believes in Him will experience eternal life and I will raise them up in the last day!”

We should eat of the Bread of Life daily and this is accomplished by “feasting” on The Word, especially those that Jesus spoke.  The adversary knows Scripture as confirmed when he tested Jesus in the wilderness.

We should know the Word better than our adversary lest we be ensnared by someone’s interpretation of the Word which conveys their intent or bias.  We must allow The Holy Spirit to direct us to FATHER’S Divine Intent of each topic we study in Scripture.  When we know HIS Heart on a matter, the revelation in The Word comes alive within us and produces good fruit.

If your fruit is lacking, it may be due to your lack of understanding.  Meditating on The Word daily will increase your faith and keep your reverence for FATHER at the forefront.  If you meditate on the current events of the world, your heart will soon grow cold and you will ultimately become lukewarm.  I won’t let current events dictate my day and neither should you.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 12:

1 Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be HIS sacred, living sacrifices. And live in Holiness, experiencing all that delights HIS Heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.

2 Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern GOD’S Will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in HIS Eyes.

As we read and meditate on The Word daily, we are transformed and our mindset fully aligns with FATHER.  HIS priorities become our priorities thus our lives become satisfying in HIS Eyes.  The Word changes the way we think and this is critical to achieving full maturity IN HIM.

When I surrender my body, time, and focus as a living sacrifice, FATHER sees it as a “genuine expression of worship” and this is pleasing to HIM.  What do you think HIS response is when we are in this state?  It is HIS desire to bless everything we set our hands to do!

In Luke 4, Jesus spoke to the devil:

4  But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word of God.’ ”

This is how we are instructed to live and should not allow ourselves to go Spiritually hungry on any given day.

In Matthew chapter 13, Jesus compared those who were at various stages concerning reading, studying, and meditating on The Word:

18 “Now you are ready to listen to the revelation of the parable of the sower and his seeds:

19 “The seed that fell on the beaten path represents the heart of the one who hears the message of the kingdom realm but doesn’t understand it. The Adversary then comes and snatches away what was sown into his heart.

20 “The seed sown on gravel represents the person who gladly hears the Kingdom message, but his experience remains shallow. 21 Shortly after he hears it, troubles and persecutions come because of the Kingdom message he received. Then he quickly falls away, for the Truth didn’t sink deeply into his heart.

22 “The seed sown among weeds represents the person who receives the message, but all of life’s busy distractions, his divided heart, and his ambition for wealth result in suffocating the Kingdom message and prevent him from bearing Spiritual fruit.

23 “As for the seed that fell upon good, rich soil, it represents the hearts of people who hear and fully embrace the message of Heaven’s Kingdom realm. Their lives bear good fruit—some yield a harvest of thirty, sixty, even one hundred times as much as was sown.”

When we fully embrace The Word, our lives bear good fruit.  We must be accurate fruit inspectors, especially of our own fruit.  When I encounter believers with major issues, what does their fruit or lack thereof of tell me?  When I hear of no fresh testimonies attributed to FATHER, what does that indicate in that person’s life?

Why do you think FATHER has me write to you virtually every day?  It is to promote feasting on HIS Word and revelation that is being given for that day.  I look forward to hearing what is on FATHER’S Mind as The Holy Spirit directs my focus.  I may benefit more than any other reader of these blogs and I am good with that for in the end, it is all about pleasing FATHER.

The enemy wants to steal The Word but we must not allow this situation to occur for much is at stake.  The world needs us to lead them to the Light and away from spiritual darkness, death, and destruction.  We need to give hope to the world by our words and our actions.  They need to see our fruitfulness as a testimony of our walk with FATHER.  As for me, I make an investment in the Kingdom daily thus I am expecting to reap a great return so that I can bless others.  Join me in this blessed walk and you will be equally blessed.
