Giving And Words

I give out of my relationship with My Heavenly Father, never out of compulsion or coercion. My Words are intended to confirm my relationship with FATHER, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit.  Giving and my words go hand in hand in producing life in others.

I am HIS Son living on this earth and purpose to do HIS bidding in every area of my life.  I know that The Holy Spirit will instruct me to speak and act on His behalf if I am willing to submit to Him.  He will never force me to do anything for I have been given choice in all matters.  However, I choose to submit to The Holy Spirit.  This is what a mature Son or Daughter does.

Why did I choose this path?  I did so because Wisdom and understanding revealed His superiority in all areas of life affecting me.  I want the best for me and those whom I affect so why should I settle for less?

Those who agree with this path of Holiness should ask the question:  FATHER, what would you like for me to do today?  Shouldn’t we move away from our personal priorities to HIS?  This is what a mature Son or Daughter will arrive at in their mindset.  As Jesus spoke, “Not My will but Your will be done.”

Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:

5 “I am the sprouting vine and you’re My branches. As you live in union with Me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from Me you are powerless. 6 If a person is separated from Me, he is discarded; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire to be burned. 7 But if you live in life-union with Me and if My Words live powerfully within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. 8 When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are My mature disciples who glorify My Father!”

Watch your words.  It is better not to speak at all if you don’t have something good to say. Does Jesus’ Words life powerfully in us?  Do our idle words negatively impact that power by diluting our intent?

Wisdom recorded in Proverbs chapter 10:

19 In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,

But he who restrains his lips is wise.

And in Proverbs chapter 17:

27 He who has knowledge spares his words,

And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.

28 Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace;

When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.

Jesus wants us to speak our destination rather than simply speak idle words.  He is our destination and The Holy Spirit is our guide to our destination.  Our words should reinforce our path to our destination rather than cause us to stop our progress by those idle words.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 12:

33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. 34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. 36 But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Let us become vigilant in watching our words and purpose to speak only what The Holy Spirit instructs.  Jesus said that He only spoke what He heard FATHER say and those who attain full maturity will do the same.  Yes, both you and I can do this!
