The Importance Of Words

My Words are intended to deepen my relationship with FATHER, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 11:

3 Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s Words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen.

In their purest form, words have power.  This is why Jesus cautioned us concerning idle words.  Instead of saying something meaningless, devious, misleading, or manipulative, we must speak Truth. By attempting to speak honestly, concisely, and helpfully, we learn to yield to the Holy Spirit within us.

I suggest you and I repent of our past idle words and wipe the slate clean.

Our destination is the presence of Jesus, guided by The Holy Spirit.  With this perspective in mind, let’s revisit a well-known passage.

Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 11:

20 Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21 And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.”

22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

The proverbial mountain is anything in your path hindering you from arriving at the destination of Jesus’ presence.  Nothing can stand in your way if you speak faith-filled words and address that “mountain”.

If we will fully yield to The Holy Spirit, He will instruct us concerning the mountain.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 14:

2 When someone speaks in tongues, no one understands a word he says, because he’s not speaking to people, but to God—he is speaking intimate mysteries in the Spirit. 3 But when someone prophesies, he speaks to encourage people, to build them up, and to bring them comfort. 4 The one who speaks in tongues advances his own spiritual progress.

The most important words I can currently utter are those in tongues.  I want to speak to FATHER those intimate mysteries and advance my spiritual progress so that I remain qualified to be a partaker (partner) of the Divine Nature.  I want to work with Jesus as a fully mature Son rather than possibly work against Him in some immature state.

The devil and his demons have no idea what I am speaking when I speak in an unknown tongue thus they are unable to anticipate and/or prepare for the next good thing I am called to do.

It is written in Hebrews chapter 11:

6 And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that He is real and that He rewards the faith of those who passionately seek Him.

FATHER has rewarded my wife and I because by faith, we continually seek HIM day in and day out.  We know that through our forty-nine years of marriage, HE has rewarded us because of the Truth stated above.  We have navigated through all the challenges placed before because HE has instructed us to take the proper path even though it looked much less inviting than the other paths before us.  Later, we saw the Wisdom of HIS path and the catastrophic aspects of some of the others.  This strengthened our trust IN HIM and we no longer consider other options.

In Malachi, there were two groups of people: one group spoke against FATHER and the other group submitted to HIM.  Their words revealed which group they were in.

In Malachi chapter 3, it is written concerning the first group:

13 “Your words have been harsh (stout) against Me,”

Says the LORD,

“Yet you say,

‘What have we spoken against You?’

14 You have said,

‘It is useless to serve God;

What profit is it that we have kept His ordinance,

And that we have walked as mourners

Before the LORD of hosts?

15 So now we call the proud blessed,

For those who do wickedness are raised up;

They even tempt God and go free.’ ”

Now the 2nd group is spoken of:

Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another,

And the LORD listened and heard them;

So a book of remembrance was written before Him

For those who fear the LORD

And who meditate on His Name.

17 “They shall be Mine,” says the LORD of hosts,

“On the day that I make them My jewels.

And I will spare them

As a man spares his own son who serves him.”

18 Then you shall again discern

Between the righteous and the wicked,

Between one who serves God

And one who does not serve Him.

Your words and your actions (fruit) allow others to discern which group you are in because of fruit inspection.  What was the topic that caused the 1st group’s words to be stout against FATHER?  It was all about the tithe which was revealed to Abraham before The Law:

“Will a man rob God?

Yet you have robbed Me!

But you say,

‘In what way have we robbed You?’

In tithes and offerings.

9 You are cursed with a curse,

For you have robbed Me,

Even this whole nation.

10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,

That there may be food in My house,

And try Me now in this,”

Says the LORD of hosts,

“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven

And pour out for you such blessing

That there will not be room enough to receive it.

11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes,

So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground,

Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”

Says the LORD of hosts;

12 And all nations will call you blessed,

For you will be a delightful land,”

Says the LORD of hosts.

If your actions are contrary to your words, then your words will be judged to be idle words.  Faithless words without actions are dead and you will be judged accordingly.

My wife and I give above the monthly tithe and FATHER rewards us according to where we seek to go rather than where we are at financially.  I am unwilling to withhold what is HIS and through my Love for HIM, I want to be seen as one of HIS cheerful givers.  Some who are immature try to manipulate FATHER in their giving whereas my wife and I want to show our unconditional Love toward HIM as we give into the Kingdom.  It is all about intent behind giving.

It is my responsibility to you to share these Truths even though finances have always been a sensitive subject for many.  Giving into The Kingdom is no longer a sensitive topic for me since I know that I am now a jewel belonging to my FATHER.  This is where faith in action determines our level of fruitfulness on behalf of The Kingdom.
