The Timeless Truth

We must be tenacious in our expectation of faith’s manifestation in our lives so that we can release this power to others and bring FATHER glory.

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 10:

1Jesus gathered his twelve disciples and imparted to them authority to cast out demons and to heal every sickness and every disease.

2Now, these are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon, who is nicknamed Peter, and Andrew, his brother. And then Jacob and John, sons of Zebedee. 3Next were Phillip and Bartholomew;  then Thomas and Matthew, the tax collector; Jacob the son of Alphaeus; Thaddeus;  4Simon, the former member of the Zealot party,  and Judas the locksmith, who eventually betrayed Jesus.

Even Judas was included in this directive though Jesus knew of his later plan to betray Him.

5Jesus sent out the Twelve with these instructions: “Don’t go into any Gentile or Samaritan territory.  6Go instead and find the lost sheep among the people of Israel. 7And as you go, preach this message: ‘Heaven’s kingdom realm is accessible, close enough to touch.’

8You must continually bring healing to lepers and to those who are sick, and make it your habit to break off the demonic presence from people, and raise the dead back to life. Freely you have received the power of the kingdom, so freely release it to others.

They were to heal, deliver, and raise the dead.  Receive and release was the directive.

9You won’t need a lot of money.  10 Travel light, and don’t even pack an extra change of clothes in your backpack. Trust God for everything,

You will get people’s attention when you perform miracles: heal the sick, cast out demons, and raise the dead.  Until then, most people today look at us as simply preaching another doctrine among many.  Confirming signs and wonders make the difference.  We need to operate in the supernatural.

Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 16:

14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.

15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My Name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

This declaration was not only for the disciples, it is for those of us WHO BELIEVE!

In John chapter 14, Jesus prayed for you and me:

12“I tell you this timeless Truth: The person who follows me in faith, believing in Me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with My Father! 13For I will do whatever you ask Me to do when you ask Me in My Name. And that is how the Son will show what the Father is really like and bring glory to Him. 14Ask Me anything in My Mame, and I will do it for you!”

Do you want to bring glory to FATHER?  I do.  We need to walk in the timeless Truth Jesus declared in the above passage.  If we only did similar miracles to that of Jesus, it wouldn’t be disappointing.  However He wants us to do greater miracles!

In the coming months, people will get desperate as the world events continue to unfold.  They will begin to look for a Savior and Our Savior DOES produce results.
