We need to access what has already been deposited in us. Why ask FATHER for something we already have?

The following passage must be understood and embraced if you want to become fully mature as a Son or Daughter.  Now is the time to no longer accept a passive life which produces little or no fruit.  This passage provides the answer to the problem.  Paul’s writings are in full agreement with Peter.  They both embraced this revelation and their fruit is evidence of it.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Peter chapter 1:

3a  Everything we could ever need for life and complete devotion to God has already been deposited in us by His Divine power.

We are made In HIS Image and we already have everything we need for life and to walk in full Godliness IN US!  This is who we are and we must no longer think of ourselves as being separated from Our Heavenly Father.

3b For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing Him Who has called us by name and invited us to come to Him through a glorious manifestation of His goodness.

HE called you and me to come to Him.  The Holy Spirit wooed us to Him as it was written in our books in Heaven before we were formed.  We were destined to become mature Sons and Daughters hence this is why you are reading the blog now.

4 As a result of this, He has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises you can experience partnership with the Divine nature, by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.

The difference between “can” and “will” is based on us opening our eyes of understanding and taking and operating in what has been deposited in us.

Those who are devoted to the Lord are most Holy and are His to do with as He chooses.  “FATHER, not my will but YOUR will be done.”

5 So devote yourselves to lavishly supplementing your faith with goodness,

and to goodness add understanding,

6 and to understanding add the strength of self-control,

and to self-control add patient endurance,

and to patient endurance add Godliness,

7 and to Godliness add mercy toward your brothers and sisters,

and to mercy toward others add unending Love.

8  Since these virtues are already planted deep within, and you possess them in abundant supply, they will keep you from being inactive or fruitless in your pursuit of knowing Jesus Christ more intimately.

9 But if anyone lacks these things, he is blind, constantly closing his eyes to the mysteries of our faith, and forgetting his innocence—for his past sins have been washed away.

Don’t let what is deposited in you go unclaimed!
