Our Best Interest

GOD’S Power in us is expressed as Love in action through us.

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Malachi chapter 3:

10  Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of Heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.

11 “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the LORD of hosts;

12 “And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land,” Says the LORD of hosts.”

When FATHER said, “Bring all the tithes”, HE did not “Would you please…”.  HE did not beg us or plead with us.  After all, HE does not need our resources.  HE is creative and can manifest anything HE needs.

This passage is really all about how much we Love and trust HIM.  It establishes true ownership in the most fundamental sense.  FATHER has given us the ability to choose thus HE leaves the decision to us.  Our decision reflects our current state of maturity and serves as a barometer of where we truly stand with HIM.

HE did the same thing in Deuteronomy chapter 28:

1  “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth.

2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God

Everybody wants the blessings mentioned in verses 3 through 14.  However, FATHER further instructs us:

15   “But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

Has FATHER changed in HIS Divine Intent?  No.  Actually, HE had Jesus further disclose details of obedience when Jesus spoke in John chapter 15:

9  “As the Father Loved Me, I also have Loved you; abide in My Love.

10 If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.

12 This is My commandment, that you Love one another as I have Loved you.

13 Greater Love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.

14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My Name He may give you.

17 These things I command you, that you Love one another.

Did Jesus get these Words from Our Heavenly Father?  Totally.  FATHER only has our best interest at heart in all matters.

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 6:

38   “Give generously and generous gifts will be given back to you, shaken down to make room for more. Abundant gifts will pour out upon you with such an overflowing measure that it will run over the top! Your measurement of generosity becomes the measurement of your return.”

My wife and I have lived by these Words and can testify to their validity.  Generosity brings forth favor, often from unexpected sources.
