The Lost Coin

Thursday, August 29th, 2013

Luke 15:8  “Or what woman, having ten silver coins,  if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!’  10 Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Let’s look at the big picture of this parable.  If you have read Dr. Speckhart’s book “Quantum and Non-Quantum States of The Lord Jesus Christ”(www.unity153.net) or have joined us in the latest online Bible studies (http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-baptism-of-love) you would now have some understanding about Our Heavenly Father’s “Non-Quantum” nature.  There are no anti-particles in the non-quantum area, in other words, there is no resistance.  It is where the pure Divine Intent prior to any “work” resides.  Divine Intent has at its source- Love.

Jesus spoke words originating from the Divine Intent of Our Heavenly Father.  You either believe this or you don’t.  I happen to fully believe it.  In this parable, Jesus uses a silver coin as a metaphor for a soul.  This is fully consistent with the use of a silver ransom coin we are using in the current Census.  Why do you think Our Heavenly Father would institute a census among the tribes of Israel twice in the Book of Numbers?  Could HE find no other source of silver to build the Temple?  Don’t you think that the Creator knows where all the gold and silver is found around the globe?  Our Heavenly Father wants us to discover a greater truth in these stories and parables.

Over a decade ago, I was praying and Our Heavenly Father spoke a Word to me, “You view money as scarce, I view money as a commodity.  You need to change your view of it.”.  People get hung up over money.  I knew this when we called forth this Census.  I am sure that is one reason why Our Heavenly Father had us make the silver coin optional for those who for one reason or another wanted to register but were unable to supply a silver coin.  HE knew that we would have no reluctance to supply any amount of silver coins needed for those who did not provide a coin.  That is what Love does.  HE also knew there would be those who would be led to send extra coins on the behalf of others unknown to them personally.  That has happened as well.

Let’s face it, Our Heavenly Father has established the need for money on earth.  We shouldn’t fight this reality.  One of the uses of money in Scripture is to satisfy a claim of liability.  Exodus 21 provides a discussion of liability.  The owner is liable for what his oxen does.  We are liable for what we do.  Yes, we are saved, but we must accept responsibility for our actions both individually and corporately.  When we sin, we ask for forgiveness.  Is there any restitution to be paid?  If you wrong your brother, shouldn’t you go and ask to be forgiven?  Is there ultimately a reconciliation of liability required to take place, even for Christians?

Silver represents redemption in Scripture.  Redemption requires a transfer of ownership, obligation, and/or authority.  To satisfy a Heavenly requirement, could this Census money be a lawful redemption of the Remnant to satisfy a corporate liability?  Wouldn’t it be just like Our Heavenly Father to institute a means to satisfy a liability claim against the Remnant brought against them by an adversary in a Heavenly Court?  Could the Court date be the Day of Atonement?  Could a “remnant within the Remnant” be called to fulfill this liability on behalf of the rest… out of Love for all mankind?  Not everyone is called to participate in everything Our Heavenly Father is doing in the earth.  Each of us has a specific responsibility to do our part in the overall plan.  Some are called to travel to destinations and make proclamations, some are called to the prayer closet and intercede, some are called to write a book on the revelation given them…  We should encourage each calling and do nothing that would hinder the fulfillment.  If we hinder someone else’s calling, we become an adversary, or resistance, to Our Heavenly Father.  HE will remove resistance.  Then we must be “found” again.  Thankfully, HE has accounted for this as well.

Census with the Son of Nun

Wednesday, August 28th, 2013

As you may recall, our Census reflects the 2nd Census of Numbers.  Twenty years ago, Stephen Jones was called to do a Census for the purposes of spiritual warfare.  This Census focuses on “Inheritance of the Promised Land”.  This Census was taken just prior to entering into the Promised Land and to be used by Joshua, not Moses.  Moses knew this.

Joshua, or “Hoshea,” was the son of Nun (נון), “fish, posterity” as in a swarm, teeming with life (from Stephen’s web blog).  This ties directly to our www.unity153.net website Our Heavenly Father has us name and build prior to any revelation about taking a Census.  This description of ‘”Nun” correlates to the 153 fish ordained to be placed in the net in John 21.  These are the “sons of GOD” teaming with the fullness of life.

Back in 1998-99, Stephen contacted me about participating in a Bible Law project to be placed on the Internet.  He chose 12 men.  I was number 7 (per his comment).  Being the only left-handed man among the group, I knew there was a connection to Benjamin.  We picked lots to determine our topics.  Mine happened to be “inheritance” laws.  In Exodus 1 and in the Book of Joshua, Benjamin happened to be the seventh tribe listed, another coincidence.  It turns out the all but two of us left the project before it was finished.  Myself and my Aussie buddy finished the project in early 2000.

It is interesting to see the chronology of events that brings us to this day.  September 14th is the final day of the 2nd Census.  Many have been led to respond.  Of course, this Census has nothing to do with salvation.  But just as I have been called to do many prophetic works in the past, I am sure Our Heavenly Father will use this act for something of note.  By faith, we respond.  For the last 42 years I have heard and responded to HIS Voice.  Today, it will be no different.  We will await HIS further instructions about the results of the Census.  The Heavenly Court System demands a lawful accounting.  The adversary can challenge our claims to inheritance, but as we by faith respond to this Census HE called, we have satisfied the requirements of The Law in the Heaven.  We are the witnesses on earth and value has been exchanged to prove our intent.

The Census was proclaimed on May 1st.  In seventeen days, the Census will end.

The Census of Wisdom: building The Temple

Friday, August 23rd, 2013

With 22 (= light/revelation) days until the Census ends, Our Heavenly Father directed me to another Census story in Scripture:

David wanted to build a House for Our Heavenly Father but was denied the opportunity since he was a man of war (1 Chronicles 22:8).  However, his son Solomon was able to take on the calling as ordained by Our Heavenly Father.  Once Solomon became king, he knew he was lacking so the first order of business was to ask for a “gift” to insure he could walk out his calling.  The gift was wisdom:

2 Chronicles 1:7 On that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, “Ask! What shall I give you?”

8 And Solomon said to God: “You have shown great mercy to David my father, and have made me king in his place. 9 Now, O LORD God, let Your promise to David my father be established, for You have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. 10 Now give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this great people of Yours?”

11 Then God said to Solomon: “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life—but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king— 12 wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before you, nor shall any after you have the like.”

Our Heavenly Father gave Solomon more than he asked for, as is always the case.  HE never holds back needed resources from HIS perspective.

Now that Solomon was equipped to build The Temple, we are given some details of those who were to do the actual work:

2 Chronicles 2:1 Then Solomon determined to build a temple for the name of the LORD, and a royal house for himself. 2 Solomon selected seventy thousand men to bear burdens, eighty thousand to quarry stone in the mountains, and three thousand six hundred to oversee them.

17 Then Solomon numbered all the aliens who were in the land of Israel, after the census in which David his father had numbered them; and there were found to be one hundred and fifty-three thousand six hundred. 18 And he made seventy thousand of them bearers of burdens, eighty thousand stonecutters in the mountain, and three thousand six hundred overseers to make the people work.

153,600 total workers.  Little did I know when we were told to conduct the census at www.unity153.net would it be connected with Solomon’s Census.  Our Heavenly Father is very precise in HIS numbers and their relationships.  On the shore, Jesus called forth a Census of fish to feed the revelation of glorification. This number was 153 fish + existing fish on the coals.  There were seven disciples but Peter had not yet been restored for his denial.  One could conclude that there were 153 + 6 for the existing workers.  You can draw your own conclusions to the connection between workers in Solomon’s time versus the census of fish in John 21.

At any rate, Wisdom chose 153,600 workers to build the 1st Temple Our Heavenly Father was willing to ”glorify”.  The workers of the revelation of Jesus’ glorification were to be as 153 fish given to men to eat.

Other details of the “building of the 1st Temple”:

Solomon raised a levy: a tribute of men for free labor, not the bond-service of forced labor  David employed (1 Chronicles 22:2):

1 Kings 5:13  And king Solomon raised a levy out of all Israel; and the levy was thirty thousand men

We are all free to decide in what we participate.  None of us should be forced or coerced to take any action.  This is why this Census utilizes the privacy of the Internet to explain various aspects of the revelation.  There is no pressure to respond.  No collection plate will be passed over and over until people feel enough guilt to participate.  You should only respond if you are led to by the Holy Spirit.  There were other workers in the land that simply watched the construction of the Temple and they still benefited from the end result.  However, Our Heavenly Father knew who HE wanted to build each aspect of HIS Dwelling Place.  Wisdom never gets it wrong.

Census Coin Acquisition Update

Friday, August 23rd, 2013

Recently, I indicated that we could obtain on your behalf a 1 oz. Silver Eagle for 24.24.  Today’s quote (locally) is now 28.24 per ounce.  Those who have requested our assistance in acquiring their coins, there is no need to send us the difference.  Any new donations through www.unity153.net for coin acquisition should be at 28.24 per coin.  As always, if you are short of cash, send what you are able and we will make up the difference.  Silver has continued its march higher as you can see by the $4 increase for one coin.  No money?  No worries, some people have donated extra coins to assist brothers and sisters in need.  We just need to know if assistance is needed.

Once again, if you want us to acquire the coin and you use the “Donate” function on the www.unity153.net website, used the following formula:

1 coin = 28.24

2 coins =  56.48

3 coins =  84.72  etc.

The Census of Manna

Monday, August 12th, 2013

Isn’t it amazing as you are focused on a particular aspect of Scripture, Our Heavenly Father reveals other subtleties of the topic!

Exodus 16:16 This is the thing which the LORD has commanded: ‘Let every man gather it according to each one’s need, one omer for each person, according to the number of persons; let every man take for those who are in his tent.’ ”

In effect, the manna required a mini-census by each head of the family.  Our Heavenly Father made it quite clear that the manna was to be allocated and consumed each day without hoarding any additional pieces.  Twice the daily amount was to be gathered on the day before the Sabbath.  No work was to be done on the Sabbath.  Clearly, Our Heavenly Father kept an accurate count of the children of Israel in the Wilderness.  Our Heavenly Father used this “daily” census of manna collecting as part of their training to enter the Promised Land:

Deuteronomy 8:1 “Every commandment which I command you today you must be careful to observe, that you may live and multiply, and go in and possess the land of which the LORD swore to your fathers.

:2 And you shall remember that the LORD your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.

:3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.

On a daily basis for forty years, HE commanded them to observe the census when collecting the manna.  In order to “live”, they needed to carefully observe every Commandment.  Later, Jesus told us the essence of the Commandments were to Love.  In turn, we should carefully “observe” the Commandments to Love on a daily basis.

John 6:35  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Isn’t Love the true “bread of Life”?  Wasn’t He the full expression of Love from Our Heavenly Father?  Isn’t the Remnant to be “consumed” in similar fashion?  The manna was counted.  The children in the Wilderness were counted.  The 153 fish were counted.  Now we are being counted.  Count me in!

Special Note: To Those in Need

Sunday, August 11th, 2013

Each of us has a unique calling.  Some are called to very public callings and others are called to be hidden in the prayer closet as intercessors.  Each calling is equally important to Our Heavenly Father.  Each piece to the puzzle is needed to complete the puzzle.

When I was three years old, my parents were so broke that at Thanksgiving Mom fed us chicken noodle soup and told us it was turkey.  We grew up in a modest two bedroom house with a floor furnace and no air conditioning other than open windows at night.  Back then, we left the front door open and simply locked the screen door for “flow through” ventilation.  It was common for us to play outside barefooted in the summer.  My life was rich with memories.  To get ahead, my Dad and uncle opened up a drive-in cafe and Mom worked 60-70 hours per week.  My brother and I worked also.  I made 11 cents per hour.  I was afraid to ask Dad for a raise so I was content to work at that level for some time.

The point of my little stroll down “Memory Lane” is to share with our readers that I understand what it is to be in need.  I never take finances for granted and I don’t feel that I am “entitled” to anything but I am thankful for HIS Grace in my life.  When Pam and I were first married, I wanted to go to a Men’s Retreat being held at a lake lodge.  The cost was $35 and I didn’t have the money to go.  My friend Roy (one of the members of our Bible study) paid my way.  I have been forever grateful for this act of Love and kindness.  Forty years later we are still the closest of friends.

Our Heavenly Father has led me to write about preparing for the coming volatility and chaos.  I know there will be those who are unable to take precautions and set aside funds, food, etc.  I trust Our Heavenly Father will supply need and move upon those who have the ability to assist.  This is just one of the reasons for www.unity153.net.  Wouldn’t it be great for those with extra resources to deploy them to those in need?  I believe we are being prepared to fully understand:

Acts 4:32  And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any [of them] that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

I believe these people had the revelation of Love and I also believe that is why Our Heavenly Father led me to focus on Love beginning in 2005… for such a time as this.  When Servias Ministries was organized in 2006, we fully stated in our “mandate” that we planned to distribute to those in need as funds were available, to help the poor, the widows, the orphans, the less privileged.  We have done so in a limited fashion to date.  As Our Heavenly Father sees fit to fill the HIS Treasury for distribution, we will distribute.

In looking back, HE saw fit to have me experience lack, hunger, failure, isolation, heartbreak, imminent peril so that I would never take for granted anything.  HE has made it a point not to trust riches nor take the attitude of the entitled.  All of this allows me to have compassion on those in need.  Servias is willing to distribute the books at no cost to those in need.  They simply must write us.  We are willing to acquire “Ransom coins” for those who wish to register for the Census but cannot afford the coins.  As a matter of fact, we currently have a surplus of coins set aside for those in need.  We are all in this together.  Let us each fulfill our individual calling and supply the Body of Christ with our gifts and resources.

If you want to register for the Census, go to www.unity153.net and “Register”.  If you cannot afford the coin, mark the box for assistance needed.  We will allocate a coin on your behalf.  Each coin is specifically assigned by name.

If you want any of the books we offer but can’t afford them, write us at:

The Second Census and the Covenant at Shechem

Saturday, August 10th, 2013

In looking at the big picture, Our Heavenly Father has continued revealing the connections of certain events over time.  There are many time cycles orchestrated by Our Heavenly Father but my focus today is a 21 year time cycle beginning in the Fall Feast days of 1992 and how they relate to the 2nd Census and the Covenant at Shechem with Joshua (Yeshua in Hebrew, a type of Christ under the New Covenant).

Without going into great detail, Our Heavenly Father had put it on my heart that we should move to a larger house that would accommodate Pam’s parents.  Her dad had become totally disabled.  We looked at 200 houses in a northern suburb only to have Our Heavenly Father direct me to Bethany (a western suburb) to look at one house.  When I walked into the house, HE said, “This is the house”.  I knew it, then Pam knew it.  Our Heavenly Father told us the price to pay and the owner accepted it, without negotiation.  We closed on the house and took possession unexpectedly early… on the 1st day of Tabernacles in 1992.  Back then I had no understanding of Tabernacles at all, I didn’t know it existed.

Fast forward to 1995 when Our Heavenly Father gave me the revelation of Tabernacles, eight years after being given the vision of establishing the Kingdom. HE had placed us in a “financial” wilderness for 18 months and thus I had plenty of time to study Scripture.  During that time I met Stephen Jones and others in the Minneapolis area.  I attended my first Tabernacles meeting in the fall of 1996 at Moon Plaza in Fridley, MN.  The study of the Law began then.

In 1997 while in the midst of a study on Biblical names and their meanings, Our Heavenly Father told me of the prophetic nature of the house HE had us move into in 1992.  This is where the Book of Joshua comes in.  In Joshua 5, the children of Israel “cut” a covenant in preparation of taking the Promised Land:

8 So it was, when they had finished circumcising all the people, that they stayed in their places in the camp till they were healed. 9 Then the LORD said to Joshua, “This day I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.” Therefore the name of the place is called Gilgal (Rolling) to this day.

10 Now the children of Israel camped in Gilgal, and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight on the plains of Jericho.

These were the men of the 2nd Census taken in Numbers 26.  That Census was to determine inheritance in the Promised Land.  They were about to engage in warfare.  In 1993, Our Heavenly Father called Stephen Jones to Spiritual Warfare:

In September of 1993 I sent out a “Call to Arms” notice to the mailing list, so that anyone who felt led to participate in the Jubilee prayer campaign could sign up for it. I was also led to ask each one who responded to the call to arms to send a half-shekel silver coin, according to the law found in Exodus 30:12-15,

For the last twenty years, Stephen has led many in “Spiritual Warfare”.  A full understanding of the Law has been crucial to the victories.

After the conquests of the Promised Land, Joshua called forth the children of Israel to reaffirm their commitment to Our Heavenly Father.  This is known as the Covenant at Shechem:

Joshua 24:1 Then Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem and called for the elders of Israel, for their heads, for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God.

He further commanded:

:14 “Now therefore, fear the LORD, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the LORD!… But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

And the people said: “We will serve the LORD!”

:22 So Joshua said to the people, “You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen the LORD for yourselves, to serve Him.”

And they said, “We are witnesses!”

:23 “Now therefore,” he said, “put away the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the LORD God of Israel.”

:24 And the people said to Joshua, “The LORD our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey!”

:25 So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and made for them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.

:26 Then Joshua wrote these words in the Book of the Law of God. And he took a large stone, and set it up there under the oak that was by the sanctuary of the LORD.

On that day, the Covenant was decreed (statute) and established as a judgment (ordinance).  A large stone under the oak was a witness

Afterward:  :28 So Joshua let the people depart, each to his own inheritance.

Their inheritance had been established by the 2nd Census in the Book of Numbers.  At the beginning of the conquest of the Promised Land they cut a covenant at Gilgal (Rolling).  After the completion of the Warfare, the reaffirmed their covenant at Shechem (Ridge).  Maybe that is why Our Heavenly Father selected our house on a street named Rolling Ridge in Bethany where the 2nd Census was initiated, to be completed 20 years to the month of the 1st Census called by Stephen.  Who would have thought it!

By the way, when doing some landscaping a few years ago, I was led to put a large stone in the front yard among the oak trees.  My grandson called it his “thinking stone”.

Census Update

Tuesday, August 6th, 2013

We continue to receive Census registration and coins in the mail.  I open each package and read the notes included.  Thank you for your encouraging remarks about the work we are doing for the Kingdom.  Our goal is to minister life to those who read our blogs, read the books we publish, and watch our broadcasts.

We track each coin and keep the coin separated for audit purposes.  We take this Census seriously.  For those without an email address, we post the Census information using a generated, unique email address in the www.unity153.net website so that we can keep an accurate tally.

It would appear that our Census is running parallel with the prophetic intercession Stephen wrote about yesterday.  See: http://www.gods-kingdom-ministries.net/daily-weblogs/2013/08-2013/part-1-intercession-to-end-the-famine-august-6-to-september-14/

What are the implications?  At this point I couldn’t tell you.  Our Heavenly Father has not revealed the ramifications of this Census to me.  However, your participation is an indication of the relevance at this time.  Thanks again!

To read more on the details and understanding of the Census, go to:  http://www.servias.org/?cat=11  and start at the oldest posting.

It’s the Act of Giving

Wednesday, July 31st, 2013

When giving your Ransom Coin in the Census, you activate an expression of faith.

James 2:18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says,“Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”  And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

I have told the story in the past about the Word of THE LORD coming to me on October 16th, 1987 at 5 AM.  HE said, “Buy $25,000 of IBM Puts (Options) today”.  I failed to respond because of my unbelief that it was HIM speaking.  On Monday, October 19th, those $25,000 of IBM Puts were worth $1.2 Million.  The point of this story is that I know Our Heavenly Father can transfer wealth quickly and efficiently, and does not need a large number of people to do it.  That lesson was seared into my brain as you can imagine.  By the way, HE has not seen fit to do that again… yet.  I trust that I will respond differently when HE does.

I told you of that event to say that the Census is not so much about Servias Ministries accumulating coins as it is about providing a means for the Remnant to express its faith.  Yes, everything Our Heavenly Father does is multi-faceted but there are other ways for Servias to receive coins into the Treasury.  When Our Heavenly Father conducts a Census, HE makes sure that even those without financial means can participate:

Exodus 30:15 The rich shall not give more and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when you give an offering to the LORD, to make atonement for yourselves.

A half shekel was the normal equivalent to one day’s wage at common labor.  Today in the U.S., minimum wage is $7.25.  An eight hour day of work generates $58.00.  In many other countries the equivalent of a day’s labor would be lower.  Today, a one ounce U.S. Silver Eagle coin costs about $22.90.

This ransom coin was an expression of commitment during the roll call of those who would be counted on to do warfare on behalf of Our Heavenly Father’s plan to take Canaan.

Number 1:18  And they assembled all the congregation together on the first [day] of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.

Our Heavenly Father did not need their coins to conquer Canaan.  HE could have simply used great hailstones to do the job.  However, HE uses men and women of faith who say “Amen” to HIS purpose to bring forth the Kingdom.  HE is looking for obedience rather than sacrifice.  If HE wanted sacrifice, HE could have made the ransom money requirement equivalent to a month’s or year’s wage.  Instead HE required a token amount to insure all could participate.  Did some need assistance?  Yes, just as today.  All were given the opportunity to say “Yes and Amen” to the roll call.
