Be Not Ignorant

Thursday, April 20th, 2017

We are spirit man and express ourselves through our human bodies.  Demons also have personalities in which they seek to express themselves in human bodies.  Our spirits are from Our Heavenly FATHER whereas demon spirits are from satan, the father of lies.

I am spirit and I dwell in a body.  I express myself through my body but others cannot see me but they can only see my body because the real “me” is a spirit living inside this body for my body is simply the house my spirit lives in.  At some point my body will return to dust but I shall never die for I shall return to FATHER in a state similar to that before entering the womb.  FATHER spoke to Jeremiah in chapter 1:

4 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying:

5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;

Before you were born I sanctified you;

I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

This Truth is not unique to Jeremiah but includes each and every one of us before we were formed in the womb.  Each of us has a unique calling as well as a unique personality which is expressed through our bodies.

Demons are evils spirits without bodies in which to express themselves in this world.  They desire to find expression but cannot until they are in a body.  In Luke 11 Jesus spoke concerning unclean spirits:

24 “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’

25 And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order.

26 Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”

As we are filled with The Holy Spirit, there is no place for the unclean spirits to dwell.  Jesus made it quite clear that unclean spirits not only exist but will plague men and women who are ill-equipped to deal with these spirits.  We must not be ignorant of the devil’s devices.  Given the fact that the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. we must prepare ourselves by understanding the devices of the enemy of Christ.  Demons seek to defile through use of the human body.

FATHER uses people to bless, inspire, encourage and minister to those who need HIS Divine help.  We are those vessels.  The LORD’S Prayer includes the passage spoken by Jesus in Matthew chapter 6:

10 Your kingdom come.

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Who is called to bring forth HIS Will on earth?  You and I are called.  The message of the Gospel must be reported by human lips to minister to those in need.  Satan likewise will use human lips to promote his message of darkness.  He will use some man or woman to defile an innocent child.  He will promote perversity among those who are weak and/or confused.  The god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not in the Gospel of Christ.

The devil is described in multiple ways.  In Matthew chapter 4 when Jesus went into the wilderness, He called the devil the tempter:

3 Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

In Matthew chapter 12:24 Now when the Pharisees heard it they said, “This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler (prince) of the demons.”

In Matthew chapter 13 Jesus identified the devil as He explained the parable of the sower:

19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.

Later in the chapter Jesus explains the parable of the tares:

38 The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one.

39 The enemy who sowed them is the devil (accuser, defamer, slanderer), the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels.

In John chapter 8 Jesus further speaks of the devil:

44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

In John chapter 14 Jesus spoke:

30 I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me.

In the Revelation of Jesus Christ chapter 12:

10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

And in Revelation chapter 20:

1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

By THE SPIRIT Peter wrote in 1 Peter chapter 5:

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

In Ephesians chapter 2, Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT:

1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,

In 2 Corinthians chapter 3, Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT and describe the devil as the “corruptor of minds”:

3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Jesus openly described and exposed the works of the devil thus we are not to be ignorant of who he is or his intent.  We must not fear the devil or demons for they have no power over those who are believers and filled with The Holy Spirit.  Demons will attempt to draw us away from our focus but as we mature in the area of discerning of spirits then we will know when their influence is challenging us.  Remember that the simplicity of Christ is for all to understand and let us not be deceived when the opposition attempts to challenge this simplicity with complexity of reasoning and logic.

It is better to know who the enemy is and what their goal is when you minister to those whom FATHER sends across your path.  Be not ignorant or afraid.

Ministering Healing

Wednesday, April 19th, 2017

In Luke chapter 10, Jesus instructed the seventy:

1 After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go

2 Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

8 Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you.

9 And heal the sick there, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

17 Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”

18 And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.

19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions (devils), and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”

The first priority is for the lost to be saved.  Next, heal the sick to physically restore people.  Lastly, cast out demons from the people who were oppressed by them so there would be no hindrance in their walk.  The seventy were most impressed with the third priority but Jesus corrected them and reiterated that salvation was the highest priority.  The main objective of ministry is to preach the Gospel to the lost.  In order for us to be fully effective in ministry, it is vital we understand and exercise our authority over the works of the devil.

Jesus explained this great struggle in John chapter 10:

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

This should provide an easy comparison when dealing with people and where they are at.  If they are being hindered by the darkness then there is a great need for Jesus to be expressed in their lives.  Each of us is a spirit man and we express ourselves through our body.  The devil would attempt to express himself in our bodies as well and one outworking is sickness and disease.  Does that mean you are devil possessed if you are sick?  No!  It means there are forces fighting you in order to subject you to the one who kills, steals, and destroys.

Jesus came that we might have an abundant life.  It is not His will that any be sick or afflicted by the devil or his demons.  FATHER does not put sickness on us.  HE may permit it due to the lawlessness of the people but HE does not put it on the people HIMSELF.  Jesus being the full expression of FATHER was consistently healing and delivering people thus He confirmed FATHER’S Divine Intent time and time again.

Peter wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Peter chapter 5:

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

There should be no question who the adversary is and we need not read anything into these statements but simply take them at face value.  The Beloved Disciple wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 John chapter 3:

8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

As we grow into full maturity, we should expect to also destroy the works of the devil.  We must not leave out this important aspect of ministry.  In these times, there is such an influx of alternatives to healing that we must not allow the world’s methods to become our methods.  We must “undo” all that the world has infiltrated our thinking with and return to the pure Word for the true solution to healing the sick.  The solution is rather simple but may be a challenge in that the world’s methods provide great resistance to us when we promote Love, faith, and hope for those who are dealing with sickness and disease.  We must press in and allow the anointing to come forth for The Word will be confirmed to those who have ears to hear.  This is the only true solution to the healthcare crisis.  Jesus alerted us to the need to be in prayer and fasting to deal with the more advanced issues we will confront.  Direct and consistent communication with FATHER is an absolute necessity to walk in this area of ministry.

Commandment

Tuesday, April 18th, 2017

The word “commandment” means a Divine rule to be strictly observed.  FATHER gave the children of Israel Ten Commandments to live by and they had trouble keeping those Commandments for any period of time.  In addition, they were given other commandments and statutes to guide them in their daily affairs in order to promote life as they grew into a nation.  Those in the religious order started adding to the commandments with their own interpretations, customs, and traditions until the Divine Intent was compromised and you needed an expert to follow the various rules and regulations.  The simple was compromised by the complex.

Jesus was approached by a lawyer in Matthew chapter 22:

34 But when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together.

35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying,

36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”

If there is any passage we should place continued emphasis on, it is the following reply of Jesus:

37 Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

If we don’t fully embrace these Words of Jesus, how can we expect to embrace any other revelation in Scripture?  Jesus is providing us the key to all Scripture which will unlock greater revelation than most can fathom.  FATHER first Loved us and as we Love HIM we become trustworthy to receive greater revelation.  Why?  As we Love HIM we become like HIM and take on HIS Divine Intent and then we begin to Love our neighbor with the same Love.  No longer are we envious of anything our neighbor has for Love overshadows worldly possessions and we genuinely want the best for our neighbor.  We become content with whatever FATHER has in store for us and do not look elsewhere for satisfaction.

Often we consider these two Great Commandments fulfilling the Law but they also fulfill “the Prophets” as well.  Prophets are those who by Divine Inspiration are moved by the Holy Spirit to speak, having power to instruct, comfort, encourage, rebuke, convict, and stimulate, their hearers.  Every pure Word coming from a Prophet should have the Divine Intent of Love behind it.  A true prophet communicates with FATHER and should express only what he or she hears FATHER say.  False prophets can be observed when their word and/or timing fails to materialize or does not line up with FATHER’S Word.

We must be cautious when we claim to speak on FATHER’S behalf for HE will not be misrepresented without some sort of repercussion falling upon the one who speaks.  As we continue our walk in Love we become trustworthy to deliver HIS Word to those who need to hear.  Walking in the Commandment of Love keeps us from missing the mark in whatever area of ministry HE directs us in and as we walk in this manner we bless our neighbor.

In Matthew chapter 24 Jesus warns us about the risk of our Love growing cold in the end times:

9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

Do not become discouraged or weary in walking the Love walk.  FATHER would not give us the commandment if we were unable to keep it.  Now is the time to increase in maturity so when the lawlessness reaches its peak, we are able to stand and not be moved by the spread of lawlessness.  FATHER has a way of correcting large numbers of people in short order.  The phrase “and suddenly” comes to mind.  Stay the course and keep the Commandments of Love no matter what the world does.

Eternally Defeated Foe

Monday, April 17th, 2017

The result of Jesus dying on the cross and being resurrected from the dead was to forever defeat the god of this world once and for all.  Annual sacrifices were no longer required in the Temple for Jesus forever satisfied that requirement.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 2:

1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,

2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,

3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,

5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

We must no longer accept the lies of the devil who would convince us we are not worthy to sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.  It would be like inheriting a large fortune and living in apparent poverty while your inheritance awaits your access and usage.  Why do we continue living in a substandard manner relative to our inheritance in Christ Jesus?

7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

The ego would try to tell you that you must earn your way but by grace we have been saved for it is the gift of FATHER to us.  Simply accept it and begin walking in it!  Will there be challenges during the transition of renewing our mind?  Absolutely!  Why?  We have been subjected to the world’s beliefs, half-truths, and biases which we have based many of our beliefs.  We must cast down all vain imaginations and replace them with the pure Truth which only comes from Our Heavenly Father.

Sometimes it is simply better to start reading the Gospels without any prior intent or bias and let the Word be planted into fertile ground.  You will find passages which were meaningless to you in the past but are now bursting forth in life.  You are now overcoming man’s interpretations based on their own biases and you are now allowing the Holy Spirit to minister life more abundantly to you.

Paul wrote 2 Corinthians chapter 5 by THE SPIRIT:

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

We must let the old things pass away and fully accept ourselves as a new creation.  We are no longer subject to the wicked one who would promote the lie that we are that old man.  That man is gone so don’t try to resurrect the old man for we are a new creation in Christ Jesus.  Paul further states in Ephesians chapter 5:

30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.

Here we have the pure Word telling us who we are.  Are we to challenge these emphatic statements given to us by FATHER through HIS SPIRIT?  Let us embrace these Truths and fully acknowledge that the foe is truly defeated… eternally.  Let us take on our rightful position with Christ and walk accordingly.

Jesus Paid The Price

Sunday, April 16th, 2017

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Galatians chapter 3:

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Let us consider the magnitude of this price Jesus paid for it includes all of mankind who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.  He is the same yesterday, today, and forever thus His sacrifice has no time limit.  He died for both our sins AND sicknesses so let us embrace the fullness of His offering to FATHER.  Jesus is Our High Priest before FATHER and no further sacrifice is needed to perfect the requirement to be restored.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 6:

20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

The precious blood of Jesus Christ was the price paid for our restoration so let us walk with respect and gratitude for such a dear price being paid on our behalf.  Shouldn’t we be quick to glorify FATHER in all that we do based on the price paid for our redemption?  Where is the gratitude and Love among the believers?  It should not be confined to one week of celebration per year but should be expressed in every breath and every step we take.

In Galatians chapter 5:

1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

We are directed not to be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.  We must not return to our old ways and allow the old man to rise up and once again rule over us.  If we do then we are diluting the price paid for us to be free from the law of sin and death.  Let our confession reflect life and Love rather than death and defeat.  Let our words be those directed by The Holy Spirit and be a blessing toward others.  Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians chapter 4:

3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,

4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.

6 For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

We must not let the god of this age prevail in those we have access to in our daily walk.  We must let the pure Gospel of Christ come forth and shine on them.  Jesus paid the price for these people and we must proclaim their emancipation from their slavery to the god of this world.  The resurrection of Jesus Christ assured us of our deliverance from the old man and we must not forget this event or allow it to become commonplace.  Let us shout this Good News from the rooftops for it was the greatest transaction of all time.

You were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit!

Delivered From Darkness

Saturday, April 15th, 2017

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Colossians chapter 1:

12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

FATHER did the delivering and transferring out of darkness.  HE is the ONE WHO qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance for it was not of our own ability.  Disease and sickness do not have any place in the Kingdom of HIS dear Son so let us no longer accept anything from the kingdom of darkness as being normal or a part of our walk.  Old habits can no longer control our lives so let us embrace those actions springing forth out of the life which now reside on the inside of us.  We are of the light!  Let FATHER’S WORD from Isaiah chapter 41 sink in:

10 “Fear not, for I am with you;

Be not dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you,

Yes, I will help you,

I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Challenge anything in your life which did not originate from FATHER or Love.  Assess your habits to see if they no longer apply to your life.  Let not the old things weigh you down so as to hold you back from fully walking in the light.  Accept the change and only retain what is useful and necessary to walking in the light.  Get rid of the “stuff” in your life which is a constant reminder of the old man.  Behold all things are new.

Quit looking for acceptance from those who have been withholding it as a form of manipulation and control.  FATHER accepts you and delivered you into HIS Kingdom so quit worrying about being acceptable to the “darkness” found in men or women who were once esteemed in some manner.  They must work out their own salvation.  Make Isaiah 41:10 part of your daily “washing” until you fully realize, accept, and walk in the Truth contained in those Words to you.  Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Romans chapter 8:

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

The Beloved Disciple wrote in 1 John chapter 4:

1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,

3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.

6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

It is imperative that we no longer accept and aspect of darkness in our lives.  We have the means to discern and reject the darkness no matter what form it takes.  FATHER gave us The Holy Spirit to help in this area so let us walk in THE SPIRIT and constantly move toward the Light and at the same time reject the darkness which would consume us if possible.  Let the Truth of the Word in the above passages give us assurance that FATHER will strengthen, help, and uphold us as we are challenged by the darkness.  We have been delivered!

We Are HIS New Creation

Friday, April 14th, 2017

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 2 Corinthians chapter 5:

17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

You and I are ambassadors for Christ so shouldn’t we speak, act and walk accordingly?  Shouldn’t we immediately begin to fully understand our responsibilities and authority associated with the position given to us through Christ Jesus?  We need to cease acting like we need to do something further to attain this position and simply accept it and begin walking accordingly.  We received this position not by our works but by the ultimate work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We did not earn this title by our own actions but through Christ and His Blood.  Simply accept it!

Our job is to remove anything not reflecting who we are in CHRIST.  Let the old things pass away and do not try to take them back up.  Pack up the old junk and simply get rid of it for it no longer represents who you are or who you represent.  We are the righteousness of GOD in Him so let us embrace this Truth rather think we must somehow pass some lengthy test in the future.  His Blood was and still is sufficient today so our ambassadorship is fully intact.  The problem with most of us is that we allow the old man to convince us we are not worthy of the post.  His Blood made us worthy and we are inheritors because of HIM.

We are new creatures now, not later after some prophetic event which has been designated by some timeline.  We must quit allowing man’s traditions and reasoning to overshadow the Truth contained in this passage and begin reading each Word contained in Scripture as a new creation!  It matters not if you have spent years without accepting this Truth but let today be the day when you finally accept the reality of who you are IN CHRIST.  Activate your inheritance for it is still there waiting on you, it has no time limit.  Until you accept your inheritance, it will simply remain dormant with respect to you.

An ambassador of Christ walks in Love, speaks in Love, and responds in Love.  Focus on taking on the attributes of Love so you can adequately fulfill your commission.  There will be those around you who try to redirect your focus elsewhere but each morning let yourself be recharged with HIS Word and direction, all centered around Love.  Each evening reflect on how you could have better represented FATHER to those you came in contact with for you are HIS ambassador now.  Make the necessary corrections and continue on.  Ask to be forgiven if you failed to carry out your mandate but do not allow others to determine your walk for only FATHER has the Wisdom and Truth to direct your steps each day.

The Life, nature, and ability of FATHER is in us now that we are HIS new creation.  We must keep that Truth and reality before us at all times.  With that being said, let us receive our marching orders from HIM daily rather than rely on logic and reasoning.  As we do that, FATHER will make life more interesting and blessings will flow freely as we minister HIS Love through us to those in need.  Let us become mature representatives of the Kingdom today.  Let the Truth of us being HIS new creation be a testimony to all.

The Emphatic Statement

Thursday, April 13th, 2017

In Matthew 28 Jesus spoke:

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority (and power) has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.”

If there is any emphatic statement we should rely on it is this one spoken by Jesus.  Have we been lulled into thinking that power and authority simply rests with a small group of elite men who have an agenda of their own without regard to FATHER’S Divine Will and Purpose?  I Think not.

As long as we submit to man’s will rather than FATHER’s, the wicked one will remain as one with derived, assigned power by us.  This is why FATHER is speaking each day to us to move toward full maturity so that we can walk in and be led by HIS SPIRIT to overcome the plan of the wicked one.

The number of demons did not matter to Jesus when He confronted the man in Mark chapter 5:

When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him.
And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”

For He said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!”
Then He asked him, “What is your name?”

And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.”
10 Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.

11 Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains.
12 So all the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us to the swine, that we may enter them.”
13 And at once Jesus gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea.
Demons are spiritual entities who want bodies to express themselves.  Many had taken up residence in this one man but Jesus was not moved by their intent.  They knew Him and knew His power and authority.  Jesus did not hesitate to cast out these demons and did so without some big prayer campaign to lengthy procedure.  Shouldn’t we come to expect the same as we walk in His power and authority?  Let us set aside the excuses and man’s reasoning and grow closer to FATHER so that we too can minister in like manner.  Let us no longer settle for the diluted version of the Gospel which has been interpreted by man’s own weaknesses in order to justify his current state.  Jesus is our example and none else.

We Are Warned

Wednesday, April 12th, 2017

By THE SPIRIT it is written in Hebrews chapter 5:

11 of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.
12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
We must be vigilant in our pursuit of growing in maturity in our walk with FATHER.  I personally believe this is a daily consciousness of be led by HIM in all we do.  The above passage clearly states we can become slack in our walk and return to the state of being dull of hearing.  What is the key to partaking of solid food?  Discerning both good and evil.

We must protect ourselves from the constant influx of the world’s perversion which is attempting to dilute our understanding, knowledge, and wisdom.  The world is constantly projecting humanistic ideas and philosophies that at best only have half-truths.  We must protect ourselves by hearing FATHER and being fully led by THE SPIRIT as we navigate the constant influx presented by the world.

Truth is only found with FATHER’S Word and Divine Intent and all else is a deviation of the Truth.  Yet if we don’t keep the Standard of Truth before us how can we discern between good and evil?  If we will start the day out with a specific Truth from FATHER, we will be better prepared as we are exposed to all the deviations being promoted from all types of external sources.

There will be those who will attempt to manipulate us away from the Truth and it could even be a loved one but we must remain steadfast in our focus of keeping the unadulterated Word before our eyes.  We must trust FATHER to deal with those who would try to steer us away from HIS Truth and allow HIS judgments to come forth as HE sees fit.  If we attempt to evoke judgment then we have restricted the fullness of HIS judgment.

Let each of us purpose to not lose sight of our overall pursuit toward maturity and become dull of hearing.  Do not grow weary in studying and meditating on The Word.  Let our relationship with FATHER be first and foremost in our priorities.

Our Citizenship

Tuesday, April 11th, 2017

By THE SPIRIT Paul wrote in Philippians chapter 3:

17 Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.

18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.

20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

21 who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Living in Oklahoma, there are many who now associate with their native American heritage.  They buy license tags supporting the various tribes, especially the Choctaw and Chickasaw.  My focus is being a citizen of Heaven where I am 100% rather than an eighth or sixteenth of some tribe.

We must embrace the cross of Christ and die to the flesh rather than live by the cravings of the flesh.  Their flesh is their glory and at best it is temporary in nature.  Why focus on the temporary?  Let us be long term in our orientation for the temporary has “wings” and will fly away.

We look to that fateful day when we are fully conformed to His Glorious Body and we can be assured of the Truth because FATHER ordained it and intended the end result by HIS Love for us.

Earthly things are fleeting at best and are subject to deterioration.  New houses and cars become old and in disrepair so why place so much emphasis and focus on the temporary?  Let us invest our time in the eternal rather than the external knowing that all things will be subdued BY HIM.  Paul continues in chapter 4:

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

While we are in this transition, we are urged to be in prayer and supplication with FATHER knowing HE will provide us with our needs. This will result in HIS peace guarding our hearts and minds no matter what is happening in the outside world.
