Getting Closer To FATHER

Wednesday, September 20th, 2017

The tabernacle in the wilderness provides us with insight about our relationship with Our Heavenly Father.  In Exodus chapter 25 the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

9 “According to all that I show you, that is, the pattern of the tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings, just so you shall make it.”

FATHER gave Moses very specific instructions on the design and structure of the tabernacle.  There was no question that the artisans were to pay close attention to every detail given to Moses by FATHER.  Nothing would be left for interpretation by man.  Each detail would provide the children of Israel some form of instruction to be remembered in their relationship with FATHER thus the tabernacle would effectively serve to instruct the people.

In Exodus chapter 26 FATHER instructed Moses concerning the entrance to the tabernacle:

1 “Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine woven linen and blue, purple, and scarlet thread; with artistic designs of cherubim you shall weave them.”

And instruction concerning the veil which separated the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies:

31 “You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an artistic design of cherubim.

When entering the Holy Place from the courtyard the priest would see a two dimensional representation of the cherubim.  This was also true as the high priest would approach the veil separating the Holy of Holies from the Holy Place.  However, once you entered the Holy of Holies, things changed.  In Exodus chapter 25 FATHER describes the ark of the Testimony:

17 “You shall make a mercy seat of pure gold; two and a half cubits shall be its length and a cubit and a half its width.

18 And you shall make two cherubim of gold; of hammered work you shall make them at the two ends of the mercy seat.

19 Make one cherub at one end, and the other cherub at the other end; you shall make the cherubim at the two ends of it of one piece with the mercy seat.

20 And the cherubim shall stretch out their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and they shall face one another; the faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat.

21 You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you.

22 And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, about everything which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.”

Once you enter into the Holy of Holies, you will see the three dimensional representation of the cherubim.  This signifies moving into a higher dimension in our relationship with FATHER.  As we take steps to get closer to FATHER, we will proceed to a higher and more intimate relationship with HIM.  Once we pass through the veil and into HIS presence, we can expect to see a change in ourselves and our priorities.  We no longer are interested in what the world has to offer nor are we inclined to entertain anything which would distract us from our closeness with FATHER.

The precious blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ has allowed us to enter into the Holy of Holies and in the presence of FATHER.  It is good to get instruction from men and women who are called to teach but we must not settle for the “two dimensional” teaching when we have the opportunity to be in FATHER’S presence ourselves.  Entering into the “three dimensional” place is not easy in that it requires our full commitment to Love and purity.  Not everyone will make that commitment but there are those who will press in and experience this deeper level of relationship with FATHER.  It is HIS desire that we move in that direction and enjoy this higher level of communion.  Love promotes unity and unity is achieved as we move closer to HIM.

My friend Paul commented on Today’s post:

Isaiah 30:15 "for thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength: and you would not".  We are not in the "would not" category for we hear Jesus say to learn of him by entering into rest via taking His easy yoke and light burden.

Also, Hebrews chapters 3 and 4 teach the difference between the unbelief burden and the faith rest.

Inheriting The Promises

Tuesday, September 19th, 2017

By THE SPIRIT it is written in Hebrews chapter 6:

9 But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner.

10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,

12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

There has been much speculation about the fall Feast days this year, especially due to the alignment of the planets relating to Revelation chapter 12.  There have been many predictions over the years of this event and we must not be moved if FATHER does not do anything special this year.  Some of us were around and aware of the expected “return of Christ” in 1988, 1993, 1996, 1999, 2000, etc.  As we mature we are less moved by dates as we go about pursuing our calling and closer relationship with FATHER.  Would I like for a major event to happen this year?  Absolutely!  Will it change my relationship with FATHER if nothing happens? No.

In 1996, there were people who relied heavily on a “prophet’s” teaching and sold their house along with other preparations as the prophetic date approached.  Nothing happened yet they suffered due to their reliance on the prophet’s teaching.  This is precisely why I urge people to seek FATHER’S Voice rather than relying solely on the various ministries who claim to have revelation concerning end times.

If nothing happens, don’t become sluggish but continue on in faith and patience so that you will inherit the promises.  Any apparent delay allows us to become even more mature and minister to more people on behalf of the Kingdom.  Our lights will continue to grow brighter which in turn will attract more people to the Gospel.  After all, that is the Great Commission Jesus spoke of in the Gospels so why cut it short?

Love is not in a hurry to depart from an opportunity to express itself so we must let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.  As FATHER brings forth HIS Plan, we should rest IN HIM and be content no matter what state the world is in.  In Isaiah chapter 55 FATHER spoke:

8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.

9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways,

And My thoughts than your thoughts.”

We must keep this particular passage in mind when we are exposed to “prophetic” dates so that we are not moved when nothing happens on those dates.  FATHER has had me do many things in the past that had no apparent rhyme or reason but after the fact I could see the Wisdom in taking those actions.  As we rely on HIM and HIS Word, we are no longer moved by dates, signs, or cycles.  Don’t get me wrong, we are to be aware of those dates, signs, and cycles but we must ask FATHER if they are relevant to us and our individual callings.  HE once told me “All signs are from me but not all signs are relevant to you, I will tell you which signs are.”

We should keep ourselves in a constant state of readiness by maintaining our relationship and communication with FATHER.  Be assured that HE will alert us when HE is about to do something affecting our lives because HE wants all of us to inherit the promises.

First Of All, Truth

Monday, September 18th, 2017

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Ephesians chapter 6:

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

We must never forget that our battles are spiritual-based and are not directed toward people specifically.  The enemy may be using a person or persons to bring forth the agenda of darkness but we need to keep our focus on the spiritual battle taking place in the heavenlies.  The people being used are subject to change and repentance and we must not hinder FATHER’S plan for them to change.  Paul is an excellent example of what can happen to an enemy once they encounter Our Lord Jesus Christ.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

Truth is necessary for us to be fully prepared to stand against the wiles of the devil and there is only one true source of all Truth… FATHER!  If we stand on Truth then we do not need to remember or write down any detail since the Truth is what we stand on in all matters.  The Truth cannot be taken apart by lies and it will prevail in all situations.  In Proverbs chapter 12 it is written by THE SPIRIT:

17 He who speaks truth declares righteousness, But a false witness, deceit.

18 There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, But the tongue of the wise promotes health.

19 The truthful lip shall be established forever, But a lying tongue is but for a moment.

20 Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, But counselors of peace have joy.

The deceiver will always attempt to alter the Truth just enough to cause us to error and we typically identify this alteration has a half-truth for it has enough truth to deceive the immature otherwise even they would not be subject to the deception.  The devil attempted to use Scripture to entice Jesus to submit to him when being tested in the wilderness but was unable to deceive Jesus for He knew the intent of the Scriptures.  Truth contains Divine Intent so we must seek FATHER when testing anything describing itself as Truth.  Truth will promote righteousness, peace, and most of all… Love.

Notice that all aspects of spiritual growth rely on our willingness to seek an intimate relationship with FATHER.  Who better than OUR CREATOR to train us up into full maturity as Sons and Daughters.  Studying the Word and related materials is good but it does not replace the need to have direct fellowship with the ONE WHO initiates all Truth.  Let us build our foundation on pure Truth given to us by FATHER.

Into The Light

Sunday, September 17th, 2017

By THE SPIRIT it is written in 1 Peter chapter 2:

9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

10 who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

All of us were once in darkness but FATHER called us out and into the light thus we have known how it is to be blinded to the Truth and walk according to man’s doctrines.  We only need to look back at those times to realize our error and see how easy it is to be misled by those who claim to be mature in their understanding.  Who among us can claim to be mature in all areas of revelation?  Only FATHER!

Our maturity is directly affected by how well we hear FATHER and respond to HIS directives.  As we fully submit to hearing HIS Word and walking in it, then we become of greater use in the Kingdom.  We must not let our ego attempt to convince others that we are mature in areas where we have not received the light of HIS Word yet.  If FATHER called me into one area yet I counsel people in an area I am not called to then I may not lead them into the light.  FATHER has HIS experts in every area and we should not attempt to be “all things” to those around us but should direct them into the light and revelation through those who are anointed in a particular area.

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in 1 Corinthians chapter 12:

20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.

21 And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.”

22 No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.

23 And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable, on these we bestow greater honor; and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty,

24 but our presentable parts have no need. But God composed the body, having given greater honor to that part which lacks it,

25 that there should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

26 And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it;or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

As we move into the light we should be embracing unity among the brethren and should not esteem one part of the body greater than the others.  All members are important to FATHER so let us express our Love and support for each and every member.  We may not fully appreciate one member’s ministry today but there may come a time when that particular ministry is critical to us in some degree therefore let us esteem all members in the same manner.  Let our light shine and be a testimony to those who wish to come out of the darkness.

FATHER’S Judgment in America

Saturday, September 16th, 2017

In Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.”

We must never forget the importance of Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Words to us.  This is why we often focus on His Words in our writings.

The judges of the land and the “king” of the land can bring a curse on the land.  Same sex marriage and abortion are issues with Our Heavenly Father and thus as HIS elect they must be included in our prayers concerning our country’s direction.  Love will overcome these issues, not physical violence so we must not think that we are to take matters into our own hands.  FATHER will open the doors and by HIS Wisdom these laws will be changed and embraced by all.  It is important for us to pray and intercede on behalf of our neighborhoods, cities, and states for we are no longer called to be hidden and silent.  FATHER is raising up HIS elect in these times.  Jesus clearly stated that all authority has been given to Him therefore we as His brothers and sisters should be declaring that authority in our prayers in accordance with FATHER’S guidance.

We must pray for protection in areas we influence.  FATHER has placed each of us specifically and strategically for HIS use.  HE is looking to us as HIS vessels of honor to be lights unto the area of our assignment.  The enemy has been busy attempting to distract us by any means necessary in an attempt to keep us from rising up as a standard.  We must not let these attempts deter us from our mission.

There is a corrective judgment coming forth to America due to the leadership of the past attempting to remove FATHER, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and The Most Holy Spirit from our midst.  This corporate judgment will expose Truth for all the inhabitants to see.  I believe we will see a major shakeup at all levels of the political, religious, and social leadership.  FATHER will no longer allow the perversion to continue.  In my state this year there have already been several politicians resign from office due to their unrighteous actions.  I don’t recall a cleansing of this nature in the past.

When judgment was about to executed on Nineveh, the King and all the inhabitants responded:

5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them.

6 Then word came to the king of Nineveh; and he arose from his throne and laid aside his robe, covered himself with sackcloth and sat in ashes.

7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published throughout Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying,

Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything; do not let them eat, or drink water.

8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily to God; yes, let every one turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands.

9 Who can tell if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish?

10 Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.

FATHER has used earthquakes and floods as forms of judgment in the past.  These occur swiftly once FATHER has sufficiently warned the inhabitants.  Hurricane Harvey was definitely a wakeup call as was Irma.  Now Hurricane Jose is not moving in the manner that forecasters had predicted.  FATHER’S ways are higher than ours so we must rely on HIM to direct us as these events occur.  In Matthew chapter 7 Jesus spoke:

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:

27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

The rain fell on the just and the unjust. The just was not spared from the rain or the floods but his house was built on the Rock of our salvation and he came through the judgment without loss.  The critical difference is that the wise man not only heard the Words of Jesus but he honored them,  embraced them, and responded accordingly.  The foolish man was only wise in his own eyes.

Over the years I have heard and read many prophecies concerning earthquakes, especially the ones where the country is physically split into multiple parts with California being a major focus of disaster.  Now that many Californians are talking about secession from the United States there may be a judgment at hand specific to their intended path.  FATHER has blessed this country which has been a leader in spreading the Gospel for decades and much good seed has been sown which is yet to be harvested on its behalf.  When people are now sowing different seed of division and discord, there is a price to pay.  By THE SPIRIT in Proverbs chapter 6 it is written:

16 These six things the LORD hates,

Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:

17 A proud look,

A lying tongue,

Hands that shed innocent blood,

18 A heart that devises wicked plans,

Feet that are swift in running to evil,

19 A false witness who speaks lies,

And one who sows discord among brethren.

This country has been warned several times to repent of its corporate unrighteousness, especially in the areas mentioned above.  Aborted babies are indicative of innocent blood.  “False witnesses” at the highest levels have been exposed by their emails but little has been done in the past to cleanse the offices they have held.  I believe the change is upon us now.

The following are two videos concerning earthquakes and floods, one specific to Houston.  Let each of us seek FATHER concerning their veracity and applicability to our individual callings.  Let us be encouraged that FATHER provides us with plenty of warning so that we are not caught off guard but are instead prepared.  We must pray for our respective countries and know that FATHER will protect us when any form of judgment arrives.  It is up to each of us to respond accordingly.

Be Encouraged

Friday, September 15th, 2017

Do not lose hope for FATHER is greater than anything the enemy can dish out.  We are in times of great change and we must not lose hope but instead place our trust solely in Our Heavenly Father’s ability to overcome any device or plan of the enemy.  The created is not nor ever will be greater than The CREATOR.  We as individuals must set ourselves in agreement with FATHER’S plan no matter what circumstances arise.  The enemy is constantly promoting its own agenda over the airwaves but we must not set ourselves in agreement with them.  This is why I believe we must start our day with FATHER’S directives then dwell and meditate on HIS Word.

We should be praying for the deliverance of our respective countries knowing that it is HIS Will to cover the earth with HIS Kingdom.  It is written in 2 Chronicles chapter 7 by THE SPIRIT:

14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.

16 For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.

As repentance spreads across the land, our land will be healed.  This is true at the personal level as well as the corporate level for one of the names that describes FATHER’S character is Jehovah Rapha (The Lord That Heals).  HE revealed this aspect of HIS character so that we would know to seek HIM for healing.  The enemy will bring on sickness and disease but FATHER provides the counter measure when the infirmity arises.  Our faith and trust must be built up in these areas and we must stay strong and not allow ourselves to become weak.  Those who exercise to stay fit know that one cannot stop the exercise and maintain the fitness for it you don’t regularly work out, you will begin to lose your strength and stamina in that area.

The remnant (AKA the elect) is the army of THE LORD and is prepared to do battle with the enemy.  In Mark 13 Jesus spoke:

21 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, He is there!’ do not believe it.

22 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

23 But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand.”

And again in Matthew chapter 24:

23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it.

24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

25 See, I have told you beforehand.”

Jesus warned us of the false message and “great” signs and wonders which would accompany the lies.  We must not allow ourselves to buy in to the current narrative of the enemy.  If we will place our complete hope, faith, and trust in what FATHER is instructing us to do by HIS SPIRIT on a daily basis, we will not fall into this great deception.  HIS SPIRIT is in us so let us yield to the instruction we receive which is squarely in accordance with FATHER’S Plan.  Turn off the TV if you find yourself moved by the constant negativism for it is not from FATHER.  FATHER has installed leaders according to HIS plan so we must not be moved by what the leaders say when it does not agree with FATHER’S directives.  The truth will come out no matter what the intent of the enemy.  Our prayers of agreement with FATHER’S plan assure us of victory in the end.  You can only be deceived if you do not know the Truth from FATHER’S Lips.

In Luke 21 Jesus spoke again about the end times:

25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring;

26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

Jesus warned us of these times so that we would not be caught unaware and unprepared.  However it is up to each of us to maintain our own state of preparedness so that we can and will function in our calling within the army of THE LORD.  Be encouraged because there are men and women all over this earth who are being prepared just like you and me and will respond according to the needs of Our Heavenly Father.

Personal Note:  There are days when I need this encouragement myself for I too must deal with whatever is being thrown at me by the enemy.  The three major attempts on my life by the enemy have been unsuccessful due to the intervention of FATHER.  I have to look back at these attempts of deliverance with great gratitude that FATHER has intervened on my behalf.  We all have a mission and must rely on the fact that HE is Our Deliverer and will not allow the enemy to keep us from our calling.

The Perspective

Thursday, September 14th, 2017

A look at the big picture-

From Steve:

If a person holds to the conservative biblical reckoning that the creation occurred some 7,000 years ago, then the average person throughout history would have personally experienced and/or participated in less than 1% of God’s Plan. If a person holds to a more "scientific" reckoning of billions of years, then the typical human experience and participation would be less than a blip.

What this means is, a person can experience and/or participate in anywhere from a blip to a maximum of 1% of God’s Plan and that’s it.

If we compare this to a 70 year lifespan, it means we have a maximum experience and participation of an 8 month old baby. Not much of an opportunity to gain any meaningful perspective, is there?

And yet, even with this infantile perspective, it’s not uncommon for us to assert, expound, postulate, require and predict all kinds of things about what God has done, is doing and will do. This, of course, usually comes from what we conclude from our study of scripture, which formulates our opinions and belief system from which we also measure everything else related to God. But, what we rarely consider is that what we extract, conclude and formulate from our study is also a product of that same infantile perspective. Hmmm. . .

If we measure this dynamic and attitude against everyday life, we start to get God’s point. After all, who seeks the perspective of an 8 month old when dealing with the issues of a 70 year life?

This perspective gives a whole new meaning to the answer Jesus gave to His disciples about who is the greatest in His Kingdom. His answer to them (and to us) was that they needed to "make an about-face" in their attitudes and "transition to becoming like and as a young child." Otherwise, they (and we) couldn’t "come into the important purpose of the Kingdom of Heaven."

So what does a young child do? They pursue, cling to and wholly depend on their parents alone. And so it should be with all of us 8 month olds!

Jesus demonstrated the reality of a "young child’s" capacity to understand the things and Plan of God through His famous, and oft times taught, Sower of the Seed parable in Mark Chapter 4. After telling His story, His followers and disciples pursued Jesus to find out what He meant by the parable. Before telling them, He first explained what happens to those who pursue Him vs. those who don’t. He, then, asked the revealing question, ". . .Do you not understand by observation this parable, this comparison? How, then, in what manner will you understand by experience the totality of each and every parable or comparison through each individual part that applies?" (Mark 4:13)

The answer is we can’t on our own. Even the simple stories are too complex for us to understand as this parable demonstrates. Our infantile perspective just doesn’t have the capacity or breadth of knowledge, experience and understanding to know "by experience. . .the totality of each and every. . .part that applies."

But, this lack of capacity doesn’t disqualify us IF we will pursue Jesus for His message and meaning about what He’s saying and doing. Instead, our pursuit demonstrates that we’ve made the about-face and transitioned to become like a young child to whom Jesus then, ". . .offers to give and put in place the mystery, the hidden things of the Kingdom of God, which can only be known by revelation. . ."

By contrast, to those who’ve decided on their own what His message and meaning is, He says, ". . .they are without [revelation] and on the outside, with everything being and happening for them in the realm of parables and comparisons; so while looking at and being observant to see something physical with spiritual results, they may see something physical with spiritual results but not perceive or attend to it with inward spiritual perception. And, while listening and hearing, they may listen and hear but not put together the facts into a comprehensive whole or arrive at a final understanding. . ." (Mark 4:10-12)

They simply cannot get it because everything God does remains a parable to them even though they may be "observant to see." Their insistence to hold on to their own assessment and conclusions about what Jesus is saying and doing keeps them on the "outside" where the Kingdom remains to them a "mystery" even though they may be "listening and hearing."

So, what does all of this have to do with the emails below?

Well, we’re not sitting along the shore listening to and hearing Jesus tell a story about how to maximize agricultural productivity. We’re reading a couple of emails on our smartphones, iPads or computers and listening to and hearing Jesus tell a "parable" about what He’s doing with my friend and the circumstances facing President Trump. And, the moment we read this "parable" we become like those who were listening to and hearing Jesus tell His parable along the shore. We are challenged with the same question they were challenged with; namely, will we decide on our own the message and meaning of the "parable" or will we pursue Jesus for His message and meaning?

This is exactly what Jesus is inviting us to do. We may not have the capacity as 8 month olds in God’s Plan to understand or explain all that He is doing with my friend and President Trump but what we can do is to perform a role. And, Jesus is mobilizing His people to become more involved in performing their roles in what He’s doing. This exercise is an example. He’s not asking us to understand what He’s doing, He’s inviting us to fulfill our role by pursuing Him for our prayer assignment. This is where it all begins. And if we will accept the invitation, He will give and put in place the mystery of His Kingdom, which can only be known by revelation, that will make us full and active participants in bringing about the Will and Reign of God in our time.

Sounds like a perspective any 8 month old might want to consider.

The Time of Judgment For The Lawless

Wednesday, September 13th, 2017

It is written in Isaiah by THE SPIRIT:

1 Behold, the LORD makes the earth empty and makes it waste, Distorts its surface And scatters abroad its inhabitants.

2 And it shall be:

As with the people, so with the priest;

As with the servant, so with his master;

As with the maid, so with her mistress;

As with the buyer, so with the seller;

As with the lender, so with the borrower;

As with the creditor, so with the debtor.

3 The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered, For the LORD has spoken this word.

4 The earth mourns and fades away, The world languishes and fades away; The haughty people of the earth languish.

5 The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, Changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

The media is now pushing the notion that the hurricane activity is being brought on by global warming and that the current administration is promoting it.  They are trying to redirect our attention away from judgment by Our Heavenly Father by suggesting the cause of natural disasters is attributable to some political motivation.  Rather than getting down on our knees and seeking FATHER’S mercy, they are steering the population away from the real answer.

FATHER has and will judge the earth according to the lawlessness of the inhabitants.  The problem is at the spiritual level and then manifests in the natural.  There is a price to pay for all of the lawlessness which has now become acceptable and sanctioned by the various countries around the world.  Men can pass laws to allow perversion and promiscuity but that does not change the reality that they have transgressed FATHER’S Laws and ordinances.

How long will it take for people’s eyes to be opened?  Until there are enough people become desperate, we may see more natural disasters heading our way.  As indicated in verse 2 above, all will be affected by FATHER’S judgment in some manner.  Many will be directly affected and suffer accordingly whereas those who have subjected themselves to FATHER’S plan and purpose will be spared the direct impact of judgment.  They will be observers.

Every facet, detail, and function of this earth is determined by FATHER as confirmed in Psalm 24:

1 The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness,

The world and those who dwell therein.

2 For He has founded it upon the seas,

And established it upon the waters.

FATHER created the earth along with every aspect of its governing physical laws thus HE alone has the power and authority to bring forth weather conditions, earthquakes, etc.  Mankind can tamper with those laws but will suffer some form of judgment as a result.  It is up to each of us to make sure we are walking in accordance to FATHER’S directives so that we are spared the brunt of any judgment coming forth.  The children of Israel were spared during the judgment of Egypt by placing the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts.  In response, THE LORD passed over the door and did not allow the destroyer to come into their houses to strike them.  We too must act according to FATHER’S Word when judgment is at hand.

FATHER will not destroy the earth but HE will remove the lawlessness so that HIS Kingdom will fill the earth with righteousness.  We must not allow ourselves to grow cold because of apparent delays in HIS plan.  Instead let us be refreshed by HIS Word and HIS SPIRIT on a daily basis so that we remain under HIS protection when judgment comes.

Christ’s Preeminence

Tuesday, September 12th, 2017

Paul wrote by THE SPIRIT in Colossians chapter 1:

13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Paul speaks of the preeminence of Jesus Christ over all of creation and this is why we must keep Our Lord Jesus Christ at the forefront of our consciousness and adoration.  The existence and purpose of all things on the earth center around the firstborn Son who is our example.  This is why it is so important to weigh our views in accordance with the words and actions of Jesus as He is our standard of conduct toward others.

Without Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior we would have no future or Heavenly inheritance so we must not let our past familiarity of His Words become commonplace in our studies.  Instead, we should treat His Words with the same reverence as if FATHER were to appear before us and require us to remove our shoes on Holy ground.

Jesus Christ is our perfect example and no other person who has walked this earth could come close to taking on that honor.  Out of Agape Love, Our Heavenly Father has provided us with “The Way” to walk in accordance to HIS perfect will and plan thus we should pursue The Way on a daily basis without regard to our current circumstances.   The things around us are subject to change without notice whereas Our Heavenly Father’s path is true and reliable.

There are many challenges each of us face as we pursue our individual, unique callings.  FATHER is aware of them all and HE alone has the power and authority to help us through those challenges as we learn to become overcomers.  The solutions to those challenges will often be counterintuitive to what the world would recommend so we must be careful to obey HIS Word even when we get conflicting advise from well-intended brethren.  FATHER knows our individual weaknesses and will minister to us accordingly so that our weaknesses become our strengths IN HIM.

We ought to live our lives in a perpetual state of gratitude for what Our Lord Jesus Christ has done on our behalf.  Our level of gratitude may indicate our acknowledgement of how much Jesus delivered us from when considering  our past acts and thoughts as sinners.  Those who are blind do not realize their need for being delivered from their past sins.  From their perspective they think their words and actions do not need a Deliverer or Redeemer.  Until they see the light of The Word, they  will simply continue on their path toward destruction.  As we become like Jesus Christ Who walks in unconditional Love, we will draw them to the light and their eyes will be opened allowing them to see their failed state.  As we change, the world will change.

Let this be our daily prayer:

‘I walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.”  In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
