Embrace The Words Of Jesus

Monday, September 21st, 2020

In Luke chapter 11, Jesus spoke:

14 One day there was a crowd gathered around Jesus, and among them was a man who was mute. Jesus drove out of the man the spirit that made him unable to speak. Once the demon left him, the mute man’s tongue was loosed and he was able to speak again. The stunned crowd saw it all and marveled in amazement over this miracle!

15 But there were some in the crowd who protested, saying, “He casts out demons by the power of Satan, the demon king.” 16 Others were skeptical and tried to persuade Jesus to perform a spectacular display of power to prove that He was the Messiah.

Rather than full acceptance of Jesus being the Messiah, people looked at Him through their own bias.  Some were positive but wanted more proof whereas others were negative and wanted to hold on to their past doctrines.  The one person who I am sure expressed true thankfulness and accepted this miracle was the man who was formerly possessed of a devil causing him to be mute.  I am also sure he had much to say to those who would listen.

17 Jesus, well aware of their every thought, said to them, “Every kingdom that is split against itself is doomed to fail and will eventually collapse. 18 If it is true that Satan casts out his own demons through Me, how could his kingdom remain intact? 19 If Satan gives Me the power to cast out his demons, who is it that gives your exorcists their power? Let them become your judges! Go and ask them and they will tell you. 20 Yet if I am casting out demons by God’s mighty power, God’s kingdom realm is now released upon you—but you still reject it!”

Jesus explicitly speaks of the reality of demons and the devil.  We must not downplay this reality we are facing today.  We must not look the other way when we see demonic activity but expect FATHER to empower us with the same power and authority as Jesus, even more so.

Jesus continues:

21 “Satan’s belongings are undisturbed as he stands guard over his fortress kingdom, strong and fully armed with an arsenal of many weapons. 22 But when one stronger than he comes to attack and overpower him, the stronger one will empty the arsenal in which he trusted. The conqueror will ransack his kingdom and distribute all the spoils of victory. 23 This is a war, and whoever is not on My side is against me, and whoever does not gather the spoils with Me will be forever scattered.”

Were you expecting to live in a passive manner as a Son or Daughter of GOD?  Jesus said “This is war!”  Those who think otherwise are living in blindness and the adversary has them right where he wants them… doing nothing, seeing nothing, and hearing nothing.

Are you willing to gather the spoils of war with Jesus?  What are the spoils?  Souls, deliverance, healing, peace, joy, finances, and the list goes on.  We are meant to be warriors for Christ and overcome the kingdom of darkness.  Don’t remove this passage from your Bible thinking that the war will go away.  Embrace the Words of Jesus and proceed to full preparation.

Important Truths

Sunday, September 20th, 2020

Jesus is more concerned about our character than our comfort thus we will go through tests and trials which will build up our character and our faith.  As we grow, we will see where our weaknesses lie and we must address those areas of weakness and make them strong.  As a result, we will not be moved when evil forces attack us.  We will not be fearful in any circumstance, even if it is deemed “life threatening” by the world.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 6:

10 Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important Truths for last:

Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of His explosive power flowing in and through you.

If The Holy Spirit tells us these are most important then we must keep these Truths before us at all times and not allow these Truths to become “commonplace” and lessen their importance in our daily lives.  Dwell and meditate on these Truths often.

11 Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser! 12 Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. 13 Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.

Is there any question that this class of demon-gods and evil spirits are powerful?  Just look around at the gross darkness around the world.  Consider all the confusion and “fake” news intended to keep us in bondage.  The Holy Spirit instructs us in how to deal with this darkness:

14 Put on Truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on Holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart. 15 Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.

16 In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One! 17–18 Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God.

Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all HIS believers.

We must walk in Truth and Holiness… without compromise!!!  Have I done a perfect job in this walk?  Regrettably no.  Thankfully FATHER’S great grace and mercy has prevailed and the Blood of Jesus Christ has not failed me in any aspect of Its intent.

I can assure you that it is never too late to repent and ask FATHER for help in walking in absolute Truth and Holiness.  Yes, you will be required to give up relationships which promote various paths of unrighteousness.  Those whose priorities conflict with Truth and Holiness must not be allowed to divert our walk away from the Highway of Holiness.

Will you lose “friends”?  Yes.  Will you lose fellowship with some family members?  Probably.  Would you prefer to fellowship with their unrighteousness and give up your Holiness?  These seem like tough decisions.  You can move from fellowship to ministry toward those whom The Holy Spirit directs ministry.

If we are to be supernaturally infused with strength through our life-union with the Lord Jesus and stand victorious with the force of His explosive power flowing in and through us, we must be uncompromising.  We must protect our hearts at all cost.  Holiness is required as the protective armor that covers our hearts.

As Jesus said in Matthew chapter 5:

8 Blessed are the pure in heart,

For they shall see God.

Father’s Love

Saturday, September 19th, 2020

If you and I are not receiving from Heaven, FATHER is not the problem… we are.  Each of us must assess our priorities and determine where the Word is in our list of priorities.  Is it at the top?  If not, that is a sure indication that something is amiss.

It we are not receiving the revelation of HIS Word, It will not operate in our lives.  This is why I begin the typical day by praying in The Holy Spirit.  I choose not to turn on the TV and focus on the world’s events of the day.  My focus must begin with FATHER, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit.  After all, They are the reason I am still alive.

If you are not receiving the Love of GOD in your life, it is because you have not received HIM as your FATHER.  Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians chapter 4:

14 I’m not writing this to embarrass you or to shame you, but to correct you as the children I Love. 15 For although you could have countless babysitters in Christ telling you what you’re doing wrong, you don’t have many fathers who correct you in Love. But I’m a true father to you, for I became your father when I gave you the Gospel and brought you into union with Jesus, the Anointed One. 16 So I encourage you, my children, to follow the example that I live before you.

Each day I write, it is intended to have you focus on what The Holy Spirit is saying that day.  I have no agenda apart from hearing The Holy Spirit and conveying what He intends to bring forth.  Each day is a new day and I hardly ever know ahead of time what will be written.

I need to continue changing until I am perfected in Christ and I am sure it is true for you as well.  I purpose to remove every spot and wrinkle as well as keeping my lamp trimmed with the oil of The Holy Spirit.

The most important revelation we can receive is the Love of THE FATHER.  It is not analyzing books of The Bible or mapping out time cycles.  It is not becoming an expert on “signs”.  It is not becoming an expert on Biblical numerology.  All of that is generally “head” knowledge.  It IS all about Agape Love!

Agape Love both nurtures and corrects.  As we become mature, we are to walk in discipline and obedience to The Holy Spirit.  Why?  FATHER has instructed us that both are required to come into full maturity.

In Luke chapter 22, Jesus spoke:

39 Jesus left the upper room with his disciples and, as was His habit, went to the Mount of Olives, His place of secret prayer. 40 There He told the apostles, “Keep praying for strength to be spared from the severe test of your faith that is about to come.”

41 Then He withdrew from them a short distance to be alone. Kneeling down, He prayed, 42 “Father, if you are willing, take this cup of agony away from Me. But no matter what, YOUR Will must be Mine.”

43 Jesus called for an angel of Glory to strengthen Him, and the angel appeared. 44 He prayed even more passionately, like one being sacrificed, until He was in such intense agony of spirit that his sweat became drops of blood, dripping onto the ground.

If Jesus fully submitted in discipline and obedience, so should we.  Jesus knew FATHER’S Love Plan must be fully executed so that you and I could be restored to an intimate relationship with THEM.  Jesus sacrificed Himself for our benefit and we must never let that Truth become “commonplace” in our thinking.

I must stay away from any teaching that distracts from the preeminence of these Truths I am sharing today.  Do I need more intellectual knowledge and instruction?  No, I need revelation from the Throne Room.  I need greater revelation of Agape Love and FATHER’S desire for intimacy with me.  I need to remove any hindrance or distraction which would steer me away from HIM.  I am “all in” and I hope you are too!

Today’s Prayer For You

Slaying Our Goliath

Thursday, September 17th, 2020

It is written by The Holy Spirit in 1 Samuel chapter 16:

1 Now the LORD said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go; I am sending you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided Myself a king among his sons.”

2 And Samuel said, “How can I go? If Saul hears it, he will kill me.”

But the LORD said, “Take a heifer with you, and say, ‘I have come to sacrifice to the LORD.’ 3 Then invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what you shall do; you shall anoint for Me the one I name to you.”

4 So Samuel did what the LORD said, and went to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, “Do you come peaceably?”

5 And he said, “Peaceably; I have come to sacrifice to the LORD. Sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice.” Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons, and invited them to the sacrifice.

6 So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, “Surely the LORD’s anointed is before Him!”

7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.

FATHER makes it quite clear that HE looks at our heart, not our external appearance or age.  You and I are qualified for the “anointing” based on the condition of our hearts thus we do not need to be concerned about what others think or say concerning their observations and opinions.  We must not listen to the world in determining what we are able to do for THE LORD.

10 Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, “The LORD has not chosen these.” 11 And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all the young men here?” Then he said, “There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep.”

And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and bring him. For we will not sit down till he comes here.” 12 So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the LORD said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!” 13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

We are not told how old David was when Samuel anointed him but his family did not consider him to be mature enough to be considered by the prophet.  People always underestimate FATHER’S Plan.

In chapter 17, David asks the question:

26 Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?

If you have no covenant with Our Heavenly Father, you are uncircumcised.  David understood covenant and stood upon that covenant when confronted with a “giant”.  David then provides us with the state of his heart:

34 But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, 35 I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it. 36 Your servant has killed both lion and bear; and this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, seeing he has defied the armies of the living God.” 37 Moreover David said, “The LORD, who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.”

David stated that he was no longer keeping sheep and had relied on FATHER to deliver him from both a bear and a lion.  FATHER had been preparing David to conquer Goliath just as FATHER has been preparing you and me to be delivered from our “Goliaths”.

What is your Goliath?  Is it sickness, disease, age, your job, your relationship with another?  No matter what overwhelming issue is facing you, FATHER has provided HIS anointing for you to overcome your situation.  David had spent years practicing with a slingshot.  He had also spent years practicing with a stringed instrument.  Both served him well when it came time to deal with overwhelming issues.

FATHER has your and my provision awaiting our request for activation and implementation.  We are meant to be overcomers, not just onlookers.  It is time to slay our “Goliaths” once and for all.

Who are what is your “Goliath”? Think about it. More tomorrow when I return from a trip.

Pleasing Father

Monday, September 14th, 2020

In Hebrews chapter 11, The Word is recorded by The Holy Spirit:

11 Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen. 2 This testimony of faith is what previous generations[a] were commended for. 3 Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s Words! HE spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen.

We must focus on the Book of Hebrews for It is critical to those who will reach maturity as Sons and Daughters.

FATHER wrote a book about each of us before HE formed us in the womb (Psalm 139:16).  In this book is HIS Divine Intent specific to each of us.  Our righteous hopes are contained in our book so we need to exercise our faith for it empowers us to bring forth our destiny.  Stop and ponder this!

You and I each have a specific purpose while on this earth and it was decided before we were formed.  Wouldn’t you like to know and walk fully in this destiny?  To do so, walk and be led by The Holy Spirit and your destiny will be fulfilled… period!

Let not you current circumstances dissuade you from focusing on your intended destiny.  Repent and ask FATHER to help you to get back on track if need be.  I know I have gotten off track and found it necessary to repent so I am sure many of you have done the same.

I need to “eat” the Word daily for It is truly my daily bread.

5 Faith lifted Enoch from this life and he was taken up into heaven! He never had to experience death; he just disappeared from this world because God promoted him. For before he was translated to the heavenly realm his life had become a pleasure to God.

6 And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that HE is real and that HE rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking HIM.

I am passionate about seeking the fullness of my relationship with FATHER in all areas of my life.  Nothing else is important.  I truly want to be a “pleaser” to My Heavenly Father.  How about you!

Time To Repent

Sunday, September 13th, 2020

Powerless religion is trying to hide the fact that “the ark is not there”.

What happened to inviting people to receive the Baptism of The Holy Spirit?

Why are the gifts of The Holy Spirit not operating in most services these days?

Do you think that FATHER will allow these “churches” continue on?

Jesus spoke in Revelation chapter 2:

5 Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. 15 Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. 16 Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.

Chapter 3:

15 “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked”

It is time to repent!

Persistence

Friday, September 11th, 2020

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 7:

7 “Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. 8 For every persistent one will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he longs for. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door.

Jesus gave those who are FATHER’S Sons and Daughters a directive: ask, seek, and knock.  We are to do this with expectation of fulfillment for we trust and rely on Our Heavenly Father.  Jesus continues:

9 “Do you know of any parent who would give his hungry child, who asked for food, a plate of rocks instead? 10 Or when asked for a piece of fish, what parent would offer his child a snake instead? 11 If you, imperfect as you are, know how to lovingly take care of your children and give them what’s best, how much more ready is your Heavenly Father to give wonderful gifts to those who ask him?”

Jesus is revealing the depths of FATHER’S Agape Love for us.  Many who read this passage don’t want to rely on it because of their fear of failure and exposing their state of true immaturity.  Their trust in FATHER is simply incomplete and there is a need to move on to greater maturity.  Don’t stop now!

James wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 4 of his epistle:

1 What is the cause of your conflicts and quarrels with each other? Doesn’t the battle begin inside of you as you fight to have your own way and fulfill your own desires? 2 You jealously want what others have so you begin to see yourself as better than others. You scheme with envy and harm others to selfishly obtain what you crave—that’s why you quarrel and fight. And all the time you don’t obtain what you want because you won’t ask God for it! 3 And if you ask, you won’t receive it for you’re asking with corrupt motives, seeking only to fulfill your own selfish desires. 4 You have become spiritual adulterers who are having an affair, an unholy relationship with the world. Don’t you know that flirting with the world’s values places you at odds with God? Whoever chooses to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy!

The one criteria for receiving from FATHER is to ask with the proper motives.  HE will not fulfill our selfish desires, it is that simple.  This is why we must focus on The Word and hearing The Holy Spirit.  The Truth not only sets us free but provides the guidance for what we ought to expect when we ask, seek, and knock.

For those who need healing, FATHER expresses HIMSELF as The Healer.  It is not asking amiss for healing.  Do you think FATHER wants HIS Children to suffer?  For those who need deliverance, HE is the Deliverer.  We must not allow inaccurate or corrupt teachings in the past prevent us from receiving FATHER’S promises to those who Love HIM.

Persistence is the firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.  What or who opposes us?  The adversary and his demons do not want us to fully mature as Sons and Daughters for we will then be formidable enemies against his agenda.  His deceptions are meant to keep us from rising as “lights” unto the world.

The devil tempted Jesus in order to sidetrack HIS mission and he will do the same to those of us who are maturing into Sons and Daughters.  We must not let up as we rise to full maturity.  Let us intensify our persistence to the point where the adversary gives up.  He failed with Jesus and he will fail with each of us who are fully committed to walk in Holiness.

Stubbornness And Unbelief

Thursday, September 10th, 2020

It is written in Hebrews chapter 3 by The Holy Spirit:

12 So search your hearts every day, my brothers and sisters, and make sure that none of you has evil or unbelief hiding within you. For it will lead you astray, and make you unresponsive to the Living God.

As long as I am in this world in its current state and dealing with people of an unregenerate heart, I find in necessary to repent daily.  I do not want any spot or wrinkle to be found within me.  The adversary will use people we interact with to initiate reactions contrary to The Word.  We must be on guard against such attempts.  We must not allow them to affect our walk and cause us to be distracted from our intent to ascend to a higher state.

There are times we must distance ourselves from those who continuously distract us with their issues.  Often, they want us to take on the responsibility and accountability for their problems.  Their immaturity, neglect, and/or fleshly desires must not be allowed to become a perpetual distraction… including family.

13 This is the time to encourage each other to never be stubborn or hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. 14 For we are mingled with the Messiah, if we will continue unshaken in this confident assurance from the beginning until the end.

15 For again, the Scriptures say,

If only today you would listen to HIS Voice.

Don’t make HIM angry by hardening your hearts,

as you did in the wilderness rebellion.

16 The same people who were delivered from bondage and brought out of Egypt by Moses, were the ones who heard and still rebelled. 17 They grieved God for forty years by sinning in their unbelief, until they dropped dead in the desert. 18 So God swore an oath that they would never enter into HIS calming place of rest all because they disobeyed HIM. 19 It is clear that they could not enter into their inheritance because they wrapped their hearts in unbelief.

Those in the wilderness are a perfect example of unbelief and hardness of heart.  They were simply unwilling to change even though they saw and experienced great miracles of deliverance and provision.  If you continually associate with people like that, they will simply pull you down as they want you to stay at their level of immaturity.  Misery loves company.

Jesus dealt directly with unbelief.  He spoke in John chapter 6:

47 “I speak to you living truth: Unite your heart to Me and believe—and you will experience eternal life! 48 I am the true Bread of Life. 49 Your ancestors ate manna in the desert and died. 50 But standing here before you is the true Bread that comes out of heaven, and when you eat this Bread you will never die. 51 I alone am this living Bread that has come to you from heaven. Eat this Bread and you will live forever. The living Bread I give you is My body, which I will offer as a sacrifice so that all may live.”

52 These words of Jesus sparked an angry outburst among the Jews. They protested, saying, “Does this man expect us to eat his body?”

53 Jesus replied to them, “Listen to this eternal Truth: Unless you eat the body of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will not have eternal life. 54 Eternal life comes to the one who eats My body and drinks My blood, and I will raise him up in the last day. 55 For My body is real food for your spirit and My blood is real drink. 56 The one who eats My body and drinks My blood lives in Me and I live in him. 57 The Father of Life sent Me, and HE is My life. In the same way, the one who feeds upon Me, I will become his life. 58 I am not like the bread your ancestors ate and later died. I am the living Bread that comes from Heaven. Eat this Bread and you will live forever!”

59 Jesus preached this sermon in the synagogue in Capernaum.

Jesus was speaking directly to the mindsets of those whom He was called.  Once again they were rejecting God with their unbelief.  They preferred to stay in the comfort of their religion even though they produced no fruit.  The miracles of Jesus did not break through their bias.  They had closed minds and were unwilling to change.

60 And when many of Jesus’ followers heard these things, it caused a stir. “That’s disgusting!” they said. “How could anybody accept it?”

61 Without anyone telling Him, Jesus knew they were outraged and told them, “Are you offended over My teaching? 62 What will you do when you see the Son of Man ascending into the realm from where he came?

63 “The Holy Spirit is the One who gives life, that which is of the natural realm is of no help. The words I speak to you are Spirit and life. But there are still some of you who won’t believe.” 64 In fact, Jesus already knew from the beginning who the skeptics were and who his traitor would be.

65 He went on to say, “This is why I told you that no one embraces Me unless the Father has given you to me.”

66 And so from that time on many of the disciples turned their backs on Jesus and refused to be associated with Him. 67 So Jesus said to his twelve, “And you—do you also want to leave?” 68 Peter spoke up and said, “But Lord, where would we go? No one but You gives us the revelation of eternal life. 69 We’re fully convinced that you are the Anointed One, the Son of the Living God, and we believe in You!”

Let’s face it, not everyone is going to like you and me.  When confronted with righteousness, they will reject change.  Jesus did not beg those who were leaving to come back, He let them go.  We must be willing to do the same… no matter who they are.

We are in the midst of the separation: wheat from tares, sheep from goats, wise virgins from unwise virgins.  Don’t be surprised as the separation intensifies.  Stubbornness and unbelief brought forth judgment in the wilderness and it is occurring once again.
