The following link is such a great and intense expression of Love, I believe it deserves your intense contemplation and should be read and reread. It encapsulates the meaning of becoming pure, mature Sons and Daughters who make up the Bride of Christ.

Jesus Went About Teaching

Monday, February 4th, 2019

What is a teacher?  One who imparts instruction, instills doctrine into one, explains or expound a thing, teaches one something, enlightens the student to facts and truth about a topic.  It is the teacher’s responsibility to convey something to the recipient which is unaware or uneducated in a particular facet.  The student most often does not even “know what question to ask” else he or she would not need to be taught about the subject.

Matthew recorded by THE SPIRIT in chapter 4:

23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.

24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

25 Great multitudes followed Him—from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

In chapter 7:

24 “Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

26 “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand:

27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

28 And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching,

29 for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

In order for us to change, we must be taught and enlightened by those inspired by The Holy Spirit.  How do we know if the teacher is conveying the facts and the Truth or the Kingdom?  By the fruits.  When you have been properly taught, you will begin to see positive changes in your life and will receive answers and revelation to the questions which have been unanswered in the past.  It is all about equipping the saints for what lies ahead.  FATHER is extremely interested in preparing each of us to be able to address all the challenges we will face and to walk in peace as we navigate through these challenges.  It is up to each of us to become occupied with whatever FATHER wants us to learn at each stage in our personal development.  Let us not grow weary in this time of preparation for there may be notable chaos and confusion ahead for those who rely on the world’s systems.

If Jesus’ ministry emphasized teaching and correction, so should we.  It is up to those of us who are at a greater level of spiritual maturity to properly instruct the immature.  Many of them do not even realize what they don’t know so don’t expect them to draw the revelation out of you.  A good teacher will lead the student into all Truth.  Many students may be astonished at your teaching but in their hearts, THE SPIRIT will witness to them the veracity of the teaching.  Teaching is a central aspect of establishing the Kingdom.

The Unicorn

Sunday, February 3rd, 2019

My friend Alan wrote:

A few days back my daughter-in-law questioned me for an explanation; “Why am I suddenly being confronted with unicorns everywhere I look”? That wasn’t her exact wording, but that was the crux of the inquiry. The first thought that popped up in my mind was “I don’t know. I am not being confronted with unicorns”. And I felt a little jealous, and somewhat cheated; she was seeing something Spiritually that I was not. So, we started to talk, and here is some of what has since surfaced from her challenging inquiry.

The English word ‘unicorn’ is a western expression of the original Latin word ‘unicornus ‘ literally translated from two thoughts; ‘one (uni; unique) horn (kornis)’. Unicorn is literally ‘one horn’. The Spiritual implications of this concept began to flood over me, and I’m still trying to put the pieces into place.

When we consider all of the ‘horned’ animals referred to in scripture, and which were designated as sacrificially acceptable, we see that all of these ‘beasts’ have two horns; duality. I found myself dumbfounded at not having already acknowledged this simplicity. I won’t belabor the implications of duality versus singularity; you know all of that as well as I. What I find stunning, however, is that the vast majority of history has relegated the unicorn to the realm of fantasy; mythology; an imaginary impossibility. Only in the Mind of Christ can we begin to see, and begin to accept, the possibility of Oneness; complete Unity. To be One with Father is to be ‘unicorn’. Yashua told us, “Though you have two eyes, let your Eye be single”. (My paraphrase). Yashua was challenging us to be single-minded; unity of purpose and unity of expression. [James 1:8, 4:8]

Most of us, as Believers, can readily embrace the idea of ‘uni’, even if we can’t imagine ourselves ever being ‘uni’. We accept the idea that sometime, somewhere or somehow, God Our Father can accomplish the task of unifying us with Him. We ‘believe’ that Our Father has the potential to bring that to pass. But what we struggle with imagining is how that ‘uni’ could possibly apply to me (us) as individuals. How can I be One (uni) with My Father. And yet Yashua ‘prayed’, “Father, let them be One with You as I AM One with You”. [John 17:21-23]

The crux (uh oh, I’ve used that word again) of this dilemma is in the word ‘corn ‘, which is a hold-over from the Latin ‘unicornus ‘, a word used to describe having ‘one horn’. So; what is special in the idea of a single horn? What does a horn represent? What do the ‘horns of the alter’ communicate to us? What about the ‘ram’s horns’ (shophar) that the trumpeters used to sound out messages to the encampment? What is the primary purpose of a horn, if not solely to send forth a communication that the receivers thereof can readily understand, interpret and accept? Is not a ‘horn’ a direct communication, intended to be easily understood? And when a horn is sounded, it is not intended to be received and/or understood by only a discreet few, while the other hearers are left in confusion and dismay. Granted, there may be only a select few that truly understand what specific message the ‘trumpeter’ is communicating, but there is no way to control who hears the ‘blast’, and who does not. A horn is a communication to “…whom so ever will hear”. A ‘unicorn’ is a communication to “…whom so ever will see”.

Duality, or double mindedness, is a condition that we as Believers are told to avoid. And if as Believers we are to be single eyed and single minded, are we not also to be singular in our communication; of who we are, and of our purpose and intent? And how are we to accomplish any of this unless we are One with Our Father? My communication to my daughter concerning the significance of unicorns popping up all over is as follows: I believe Our Father, via the Holy Spirit of God within us, is bringing the uniqueness of the unicorn to our attention, telling us it is time to acknowledge and pursue being One with Our Father in Heaven. And the Kingdom of Heaven is within us; all of us. We may have never recognized that concept previously, but I truly believe a major aspect of The Third Day is in our beginning to acknowledge the reality of the Kingdom of Heaven within.

Does God use the ‘signs’ in the constellations to communicate to us a Spiritual Kingdom message? First the natural, then the Spiritual. Does Our Father have the ‘sense of humor’ to communicate to us about His Nature and his pageant in horse races, football games, the fish of the sea and the fowls of the air (literally, heavenlies)? First the natural, then the Spiritual. Does Our Father have the ability to awaken us to the chaos we are creating in our carnality and selfishness by using storms and weather oddities to speak to us? First the natural, then the Spiritual. Can Our Father also use the age-old symbol of the unicorn, hidden in plain view for thousands of years, to call us to the ultimate purpose of our being One with Him? I declare, unabashedly and un-reservedly, Yes and Amen! First the Natural, then the Spiritual.

The word ‘unicorn’ shows up only nine times in scripture; six times as singular, and three times as plural. The massive volume of Spiritual information involved in the Hebrew word translated as ‘unicorn’ is much too deep to dive into in this brief. However, the unique use of the Hebrew word translated as ‘unicorn’ is actually used ten times in the scripture. Nine times this unique expression is translated as ‘unicorn’. The tenth time, in Zechariah 14:10, it is translated as “…shall be lifted up,” The ‘unicorn’ is one that is “…lifted up” by being single minded; One with Father. WoW!!! How simple!

When we begin to have the courage to declare we are One with Our Father, just as Yashua prayed for us to be, we will start to hear a different communication from our own mouths. We will become a different kind of horn. We will realize we are becoming a ‘unicorn’; singular in vision, singular in sound and singular in purpose and intent. When we begin to acknowledge our being One with Our Father, we will begin to be the manifestation of Christ that Our Father always intended us to be. “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at will begin to change”. I am reminded, as I write this, that 2019 is to be a time of ‘hearing’ like we have never ‘heard’ before. In Strong’s Greek, #2019 is ‘epiphoneo’.

I’m going out to get a unicorn.

Shalom, Y’all!

The Door: Part 4

Saturday, February 2nd, 2019

Isaiah recorded by THE SPIRIT in chapter 55 The Words of Our Heavenly Father:

1 “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price.

2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.

3 Incline your ear, and come to Me (Ask). Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you— The sure mercies of David.

4 Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people.

5 Surely you shall call a nation you do not know, And nations who do not know you shall run to you, Because of the LORD your God, And the Holy One of Israel; For He has glorified you.”

6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him (knock) while He is near.

7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

In the above passage, FATHER communicates the essence of what Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 7:7-8.  Further, FATHER explains to us that there is a definite separation between where most people reside and where FATHER resides:

8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.

9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways,

And My thoughts than your thoughts.”

There is a lower sense realm and a higher Spiritual realm with a definite separation.  If we want to access HIS thoughts and ways, we must ascend to the level where FATHER resides.  This level is accessible for HE said that HE can be found in verse 6.  The children of Israel were invited to reside in this higher level of existence in order that FATHER could bless them with an abundant life when HE spoke “Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.”  FATHER further spoke:

10 “For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,

11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

12 “For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.”

When we access this higher realm in a lawful manner by entering through the door (Jesus Christ), we are invited to walk in an abundant life filled with joy and peace.  We are to produce good fruit which in turn will provide all with bread to eat and additional seed to sow for the future.  Peace will precede our steps as we walk into various situations of chaos and turbulence.  I have personally seen and experienced this phenomenon many times in the past.  Let us walk according to FATHER’S Word and reaffirmed by Our Lord Jesus Christ.  BOTH invited us to occupy this higher realm of a life filled with abundant living where not only our needs are met, but we become conduits to meet the needs of those around us no matter what situation we encounter.  Let us fully embrace the Words of Jesus when He spoke in John chapter 10:

9 “I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

The Door: Part 3

Friday, February 1st, 2019

The term “door” expresses an entrance which separates two distinct areas which can be restricted by the closing of the entrance by an efficient barrier.  A door is meant to be opened or closed by the intent of one who has authority over the door in some manner.  The term “knock” is an expressed notice requesting lawful entrance through a door.  In Matthew chapter 7, Jesus spoke:

7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”

There are many facets to the above passage, but let’s consider the simplicity of what Jesus said.  When He told us to ask and it will be given to us, what is to be given?  How about directions to the door?  If that be the case, then what is it that we are to seek?  Once again, the answer is the door.  Once we come face to face with the door, what are we to do?  Knock with the expectation of the keeper of the door to open it to us so that we can enter through the door and access the restricted area which the door has been protecting from unlawful entrance.  Though this may seem very basic to many, in a few words, Jesus conveyed an important spiritual reality.

There is a restricted area unknown to many else Jesus would not have first indicated that we should “ask”.  He initiated the question about a mystery for each of us to become aware of in our spiritual walk.  In essence, He said “Ask me about the door?”  Until Jesus arrived on the scene, none of us knew there was a door to ask about.  Once we are told to ask, Jesus willingly told us to seek it out so it must be FATHER’S Divine Intent for us to find the door.  Otherwise, the mystery would remain hidden.  Finally, we are told to knock which establishes an expectation for the door to be answered by the keeper of the door.  Lastly, Jesus clearly states that the door will be answered and opened to us in order that we are able to gain lawful entry.

With this fundamental understanding, Jesus further spoke:

9 “Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?

10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?

11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”

Once one enters lawfully through this door, Jesus immediately speaks of FATHER responding to those who ask HIM about receiving “good gifts”.  Once we have entered this restricted area as instructed by Jesus, we do have access to good and advantageous gifts for our benefit.  We now have access to the spiritual realm where we can and should communicate with Our Heavenly Father and ask HIM to meet our needs.  We should have no reluctance to come boldly to HIM for Jesus urged us to ask, seek, and knock so that we could find this door in the first place.  It is out of FATHER’S unconditional Love that we enter through the door and come boldly into HIS presence so that we have access to those good and advantageous gifts HE desires to give us.

Should I apologize for being a recipient of those good and advantageous gifts?  Absolutely not!  I simply took Jesus at HIS Word and FATHER has not only sustained me throughout the years but has blessed me and my family because of my willingness to believe and have faith IN HIM.  You can go through life in scarcity or abundance, its your choice.  I chose to ask, seek, and knock as Jesus instructed.  I took Jesus at His Word which happens to be FATHER’S Word as well.  Those good and advantageous gifts were not only spiritual in nature, but physical as well.  Let us not restrict FATHER’S willingness to be a giver.  In response to HIS giving to me, I have become a cheerful giver to others, thus emulating My Heavenly Father.  How else would I respond once I received the Love revelation of ask, seek, and knock?
