360 Billion Locusts

Tuesday, February 4th, 2020

The following is why I believe it is critical for us to place the highest priority in being led by The Holy Spirit.

Its is written by The Holy Spirit in Exodus chapter 10:

1 Now the LORD said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh; for I have hardened his heart and the hearts of his servants, that I may show these signs of Mine before him, 2 and that you may tell in the hearing of your son and your son’s son the mighty things I have done in Egypt, and My signs which I have done among them, that you may know that I am the LORD.”3 So Moses and Aaron came in to Pharaoh and said to him, “Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews: ‘How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, that they may serve Me. 4 Or else, if you refuse to let My people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your territory. 5 And they shall cover the face of the earth, so that no one will be able to see the earth; and they shall eat the residue of what is left, which remains to you from the hail, and they shall eat every tree which grows up for you out of the field. 6 They shall fill your houses, the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians—which neither your fathers nor your fathers’ fathers have seen, since the day that they were on the earth to this day.’ ” And he turned and went out from Pharaoh.7 Then Pharaoh’s servants said to him, “How long shall this man be a snare to us? Let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God. Do you not yet know that Egypt is destroyed?”8 So Moses and Aaron were brought again to Pharaoh, and he said to them, “Go, serve the LORD your God. Who are the ones that are going?”9 And Moses said, “We will go with our young and our old; with our sons and our daughters, with our flocks and our herds we will go, for we must hold a feast to the LORD.”10 Then he said to them, “The LORD had better be with you when I let you and your little ones go! Beware, for evil is ahead of you. 11 Not so! Go now, you who are men, and serve the LORD, for that is what you desired.” And they were driven out from Pharaoh’s presence.12 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land—all that the hail has left.” 13 So Moses stretched out his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind on the land all that day and all that night. When it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts. 14 And the locusts went up over all the land of Egypt and rested on all the territory of Egypt. They were very severe; previously there had been no such locusts as they, nor shall there be such after them. 15 For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they ate every herb of the land and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left. So there remained nothing green on the trees or on the plants of the field throughout all the land of Egypt.

The Mark of True Maturity

Sunday, February 2nd, 2020

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 3:

12 You are always and dearly loved by God! So robe yourself with virtues of God, since you have been divinely chosen to be holy. Be merciful as you endeavor to understand others, and be compassionate, showing kindness toward all. Be gentle and humble, unoffendable in your patience with others. 13 Tolerate the weaknesses of those in the family of faith, forgiving one another in the same way you have been graciously forgiven by Jesus Christ. If you find fault with someone, release this same gift of forgiveness to them. 14 For love is supreme and must flow through each of these virtues. Love becomes the mark of true maturity.

Since Love is the mark of true maturity as Sons and Daughters, we must look at our fruit to ascertain where we are at in our spiritual growth.  Paul describes how we should be acting:

5 Live as one who has died to every form of sexual sin and impurity. Live as one who died to diseases, and desires for forbidden things, including the desire for wealth, which is the essence of idol worship. 6 When you live in these vices you ignite the anger of God against these acts of disobedience.

7–8 That’s how you once behaved, characterized by your evil deeds. But now it’s time to eliminate them from your lives once and for all—anger, fits of rage, all forms of hatred, cursing, filthy speech, 9 and lying.  Lay aside your old Adam-self with its masquerade and disguise.

Our words, thoughts, and actions will disclose our current level of maturity.  Yes, we can withhold our thoughts from being exposed to others but FATHER knows our thoughts.  FATHER spoke in Isaiah chapter 55:

8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.

9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So are My ways higher than your ways,

And My thoughts than your thoughts.”

If FATHER did not know our thoughts, HE would unable to make the above statement as a comparison.  We can fool the people around but FATHER will not be mocked in any way.  We must take control of our thought life as well as every word we speak.  Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 12:

33 “You must determine if a tree is good or rotten. You can recognize good trees by their delicious fruit. But if you find rotten fruit, you can be certain that the tree is rotten. The fruit defines the tree. 34 But you who are known as the Pharisees are rotten to the core! You’ve been poisoned by the nature of a venomous snake. How can your words be good and trustworthy if you are rotten within? For what has been stored up in your hearts will be heard in the overflow of your words!

35 “When virtue is stored within, the hearts of good and upright people will produce good fruit. But when evil is hidden within, those who are evil will produce evil fruit. 36 You can be sure of this: when the day of judgment comes, everyone will be held accountable for every careless word he has spoken. 37 Your very words will be used as evidence against you, and your words will declare you either innocent or guilty.”

If we decide to walk and be led by The Holy Spirit, our destiny has been established in the book written about each of us in Heaven (Psalm 139:16).  As we pursue FATHER’S specific Divine Intent written in our individual book, its contents will be revealed.  Once revealed, it is up to each of us to yield.  Let the following in Psalm 139 be our prayer today:

23 FATHER, I invite your searching gaze into my heart.

Examine me through and through;

find out everything that may be hidden within me.

Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares.

24 See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on,

and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting ways—

the path that brings me back to YOU.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen!

Without Limitation

What is your full potential?

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 2:

4 But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. 5 Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace! 6 He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!

To be “placed” or “seated” in Heaven means we have been given the perfection and authority to be there.  Do you believe this to be reality for you?  What is keeping us from walking in the fullness of this authority?  Our minds need to be renewed by The Word so that our “perceived” limitations are removed.  We have been conditioned to failure by the world thus our soul tries to protect us from venturing out beyond our perceived limitation.

Paul wrote in Philippians chapter 4:

12–13 I know what it means to lack, and I know what it means to experience overwhelming abundance. For I’m trained in the secret of overcoming all things, whether in fullness or in hunger.  And I find that the strength of Christ’s explosive power infuses me to conquer every difficulty.

We must not restrain Christ’s power in us any longer.

We are to walk without limitation as we fully embrace the Truth that we are Sons and Daughters.  The mature children of GOD are those of us who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. We did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,” leading us back into the fear of never being good enough.  But we have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,” enfolding us into the family of GOD.  As a result, we will never feel orphaned, for as HE rises up within us, our spirits join HIM in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved FATHER!”

For the Holy Spirit makes GOD’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are FATHER’S beloved child!”  And since we are HIS true children, we qualify to share all HIS treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of FATHER HIMSELF.

Since we are joined to Christ, we also inherit all that He is and all that He has.  We will experience being co-glorified with him provided that we accept his sufferings as our own.

The Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to “super-intercede” on our behalf, pleading to FATHER with emotional sighs too deep for words.

FATHER, the Searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet HE also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before FATHER for us, HIS Holy Ones, in perfect harmony with HIS plan and our destiny which is written in our book (Psalm 139:16).

So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into FATHER’S perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are HIS Lovers who have been called to fulfill HIS designed purpose. For He knew all about us before we were born and HE destined us from the beginning to share the likeness of HIS Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like Him.

Having determined our destiny ahead of time, HE called us to HIMSELF and transferred HIS perfect righteousness to everyone HE called. And those who possess HIS perfect righteousness HE co-glorified with his Son!

This is the Absolute Truth and those of us who embrace this Truth and no longer accept the limitations of the flesh but purge anything contradicting the Truth, will walk in the same manner as Our Elder Brother.

As we engage FATHER in everyday life, we know that our next step is supernatural.  As we pray in Tongues, we are reading from our individual “books” in Heaven and are preparing for our next supernatural events.  For we are destined to shed any limitation from preventing our individual callings to come to pass.
