The Call To Spiritual Warfare: Part 8

Monday, February 8th, 2021

Our mindset needs to be elevated to the point where we only rely on the Absolute Truth and righteousness revealed to us from FATHER.  Until then, our perception may be wrong.  If this is the case, we are living in deception.  Deception in its purest form is when a person doesn’t know he or she is deceived.  Demons rely on this situation thus we need to pray in The Holy Spirit so we can hear AND understand what is Truth and righteousness.

We are instructed by The Holy Spirit in Psalm 89:

14 Your glorious Throne rests on a foundation

of righteousness and just verdicts.

Grace and Truth are the attendants who go before you.

15 O Lord, how blessed are the people

who experience the shout of worship,

for they walk in the radiance of your presence.

16 We can do nothing but leap for joy all day long,

for we know who You are and what You do,

and you’ve exalted us on high.

FATHER is always speaking what is correct and what is right in an absolute sense.  Why would I start the morning without first praying in The Holy Spirit?  What else is more important than hearing and understanding what is coming from the Throne Room where Truth and Righteousness are at the foundation of FATHER’S Throne?

There is no doubt in Heaven nor is there fear or uncertainty.  There are only answers!  This is why we must be baptized in The Holy Spirit and it is also why that many religions are opposed to this Baptism.  They lose their ability to control and manipulate when believers begin to hear directly from the Throne Room rather than relying on religious leaders who may or may not be speaking the Absolute Truth.  Instead, they may be wolves in sheep’s clothing and promoting their own self-serving agenda.

Jesus is always right and I am not always right thus I need to rely on Him and His Words, not some incomplete doctrine promoted by others.  The plumb line in Heaven is perfect.  When I spend time in the Secret Place (Psalm 91), I receive correction which results in deception being removed.  I then repent and go on.

The adversary wants to keep us blind and deceived so that we will cease maturing as Sons and Daughters of GOD.  We must acknowledge his devices and not allow ourselves to be tossed by every wind of doctrine.  Paul spoke about the true mandate of the five-fold ministry to bring us into full maturity as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 4:

14 And then our immaturity will end! And we will not be easily shaken by trouble, nor led astray by novel teachings or by the false doctrines of deceivers who teach clever lies. 15 But instead we will remain strong and always sincere in our Love as we express the Truth. All our direction and ministries will flow from Christ and lead us deeper into Him, the anointed Head of His Body, the church.

16 For His “Body” has been formed in His image and is closely joined together and constantly connected as one. And every member has been given divine gifts to contribute to the growth of all; and as these gifts operate effectively throughout the whole body, we are built up and made perfect in Love.

In Leviticus chapter 10 we are told FATHER’S Heart concerning Holiness: 10 that you may distinguish between Holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean.  We must not allow ourselves to knowingly fellowship with unholiness and bring unrighteousness into our midst.

Would I knowingly consume something into my body that has harmful effects?  Would I give my child something poisonous?  We are to protect ourselves from impurities in whatever form they take.  We are to Love people but not condone their unholiness or misguided doctrines.  We are to minister life and restoration.

In Ezekiel chapter 44, it is written by The Holy Spirit:

23 “And they shall teach My people the difference between the Holy and the unholy, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.”

We are to discern what is not Holy in our lives and remove it from our midst.  People have a tendency to compromise in this area often because of peer pressure.  However, Jesus never allowed Himself to compromise.  The adversary tried to tempt Him with compromising FATHER’S Word but failed.

It is further written by THE SPIRIT in Psalm 119:

1 You’re only truly happy when you walk in total integrity,

walking in the light of God’s Word.

2 What joy overwhelms everyone who keeps the ways of God,

those who seek HIM as their heart’s passion!

3 They’ll never do what’s wrong

but will always choose the paths of the Lord.

4 God has prescribed the right way to live:

obeying HIS laws with all our hearts.

5 How I long for my life to bring YOU glory

as I follow each and every one of Your Holy precepts!

FATHER has shown us the right way to live and has given us The Holy Spirit to discern between Holy and unholy.  The adversary will use clever lies and cunning deceit to direct us away from Holiness.  We must be on guard to such devices.  The Bride will be without spot or wrinkle and we don’t want to be disqualified due to misperception and lack of discernment concerning our interactions with others.

The Call To Spiritual Warfare: Part 7

Sunday, February 7th, 2021

Our mindset needs to be elevated and no longer tolerate fear in any aspect of our life.  This includes physical death.  Since I have experienced near death five times since 1984, I am not fearful of death anymore.  Neither was Paul as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 15:

51 Listen, and I will tell you a Divine mystery: not all of us will die, but we will all be transformed. 52 It will happen in an instant—in the twinkling of his eye. For when the last trumpet is sounded, the dead will come back to life. We will be indestructible and we will be transformed. 53 For we will discard our mortal “clothes” and slip into a body that is imperishable. What is mortal now will be exchanged for immortality. 54 And when that which is mortal puts on immortality, and what now decays is exchanged for what will never decay, then the Scripture will be fulfilled that says:

Death is swallowed up by a triumphant victory!

55 So death, tell me, where is your victory?

Tell me death, where is your sting?

56 It is sin that gives death its sting and the law that gives sin its power. 57 But we thank God for giving us the victory as conquerors through Our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. 58 So now, Beloved ones,] stand firm and secure. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.

The devil will use fear to cause us to become focused only on personal survival.  He wants us to be totally self-centered and only consider activities that promote a mindset of self-centeredness.  It is a direct attack on Agape Love.  We must not allow those seeds of fear to grow but instead utilize the armor of GOD to deflect those fiery darts.  It is much easier to pull up a weed when it is simply a seedling rather than letting it take root and become a major weed.  The Name of Jesus is our solution to fear.  Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Philippians chapter 2:

6 He (Jesus) existed in the form of God, yet He gave no thought to seizing equality with God as His supreme prize. 7 Instead He emptied himself of his outward glory by reducing Himself to the form of a lowly servant. He became human! 8 He humbled Himself and became vulnerable, choosing to be revealed as a man and was obedient. He was a perfect example, even in his death—a criminal’s death by crucifixion!

9 Because of that obedience, God exalted Him and multiplied His greatness! He has now been given the greatest of all names!

10 The authority of the name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this Name—in the Heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm. 11 And every tongue will proclaim in every language: “Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh,” bringing glory and honor to God, His Father!

Fear must submit to the Name of Jesus.  The demonic realm must submit to the Name of Jesus.  There is power in that Name.  Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 19:

11 God kept releasing a flow of extraordinary miracles through the hands of Paul. 12 Because of this, people took Paul’s handkerchiefs and articles of clothing, even pieces of cloth that had touched his skin, laying them on the bodies of the sick, and diseases and demons left them and they were healed.

13–14 Now, there were seven itinerant Jewish exorcists, sons of Sceva the high priest, who took it upon themselves to use the name and authority of Jesus over those who were demonized. They would say, “We cast you out in the name of the Jesus that Paul preaches!”

15 One day, when they said those words, the demon in the man replied, “I know about Jesus, and I recognize Paul, but who do you think you are?”

16 Then the demonized man jumped on them and threw them to the ground, beating them mercilessly. He overpowered the seven exorcists until they all ran out of the house naked and badly bruised.

It is clear that the seven sons of Sceva had no personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  They only knew Jesus by what Paul preached.  They simply tried to emulate Paul’s ministry and paid a dear price for their error.  We are not to rely on copying what others do.  We must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit.

When we finally get to know THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY by the relational name FATHER, we will truly begin to understand the need to full maturity.  When you hear someone simply call HIM “God”, there may be a relational issue in that person’s life.  FATHER reminds of this every time I hear a prayer with the only term “God” being used.

The sons of Sceva did not have the empowerment given by The Holy Spirit.  When we receive this empowerment, we will know it and there will be no question when confronting demons.  I expect this empowerment and you should too else you would not continue to pursue maturity through these teachings.

As a child of Our Heavenly Father, if you will not accept fear in your life, you cannot be tormented by the demons.  You will deal with fear using the Name of Jesus.  Demons cannot deal with this Name or proclaiming His Blood over your life.  They will back off and go looking for some weak Christian to torment instead.  Frequent communion keeps this Truth at the forefront of our mindset.

David recorded by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 27:

1 The Lord is my revelation-light to guide me along the way;

HE’S the Source of my salvation to defend me every day.

I fear no one!

I’ll never turn back and run from You, Lord;

surround and protect me.

2 When evil ones come to destroy me,

they will be the ones who turn back.

3 My heart will not be afraid even if an army rises to attack.

I know that YOU are there for me, so I will not be shaken.

Fear not!  The adversary will never be victorious in your life if you will trust in The Name of Jesus and maintain a direct, personal relationship with THE FATHER, Son, and Holy Spirit.  You do not need to rely on others to fight your battle with the devil.  You can do it as you become strong in THE LORD!

The Call To Spiritual Warfare: Part 6

Saturday, February 6th, 2021

Our mindset needs to be elevated into full maturity as Sons and Daughters of GOD.  For the most part, believers have become rather lax in the area of Spiritual warfare to the point that they only respond at best in a defensive mode.  Is this what the disciples did in the Book of Acts?  The fruit I have observed was one of boldness when the vessels of dishonor tried to quenched the move of GOD in expanding the Kingdom at that time.  Luke wrote by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 4:

1–2 The teaching and preaching of Peter and John angered the priests, the captain of the temple police, and representatives of the Jewish sect of the Sadducees. They were furious that the people were being taught that in Jesus there is a resurrection from the dead. So while Peter and John were still speaking, the Jewish authorities came to the temple courts to oppose them. 3 They had them arrested, and since it was already evening they kept them in custody until the next day. 4 Yet there were many in the crowd who believed the message, bringing the total number of men who believed to nearly five thousand!

How often do we hear of over five thousand men (plus women) being saved in one service these days?  Both Peter and John angered those in charge of the current religion who rejected the message of the resurrected Christ, the Son of GOD.  Would you be willing to be arrested and placed in jail for preaching the same message as Peter and John?

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and elders of our people, 9 are we being questioned today because we’ve done a good deed for a crippled man? Do you want to know how he was healed? 10 Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful Name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, the man you crucified but whom God raised from the dead. 11 For Jesus is the one referred to in the Scriptures, where it says,

‘The stone that you builders rejected

has now become the cornerstone.’

12 There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under Heaven by which we must be saved.”

13 The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus. 14 But since they could see the man who had been healed standing right there among them, there was nothing the council could say. 15 So they ordered Peter and John out of the council chamber and conferred among themselves.

There is no salvation except through Jesus Christ.  The adversary uses religion to try to convince us otherwise.  One world leader was reported as saying that there are many ways to GOD.  Not so!

What was the undeniable evidence that these men must be let go?  A man crippled from birth being carried and placed at the entrance to the temple everyday was healed in the previous chapter.  Clearly he was well known by the officials of the Temple.  In chapter 3, we get the details of the crippled man’s healing.  Take note, the beggar wanted money but instead he received healing and restoration.

6 Then Peter said, “I don’t have money, but I’ll give you this—by the power of the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, stand up and walk!”

7–8 Peter held out his right hand to the crippled man. As he pulled the man to his feet, suddenly power surged into his crippled feet and ankles. The man jumped up, stood there for a moment stunned, and then began to walk around! As he went into the temple courts with Peter and John, he leapt for joy and shouted praises to God.

9 When all the people saw him jumping up and down and heard him glorifying God, 10 they realized it was the crippled beggar they had passed by in front of the Beautiful Gate. Astonishment swept over the crowd, for they were amazed over what had happened to him.

Notice that the words suddenly, stunned, astonishment, and amazed were all used to describe the event.  This is the result of boldness given by The Holy Spirit.  The adversary has no defense against this Spiritual empowerment.  We need to expect this same boldness as we come into full maturity as Sons and Daughters of GOD.  This miracle brought those five thousand men to Peter and John to find out more.  There was nothing more important for them to do that day but to hear about this miracle.  Peter and John were on the offensive in their boldness to expand the Kingdom of GOD.

Peter directed the crowd to take their eyes off of him and onto Jesus:

16 Faith in Jesus’ name has healed this man standing before you. It is the faith that comes through believing in Jesus’ name that has made the crippled man walk right in front of your eyes!

Peter was no longer self-centered but had embraced the Agape Love of Jesus Christ thus he was a willing vessel of Honor no matter what the consequences.  He and John became examples and encouragement to other believers to seek this same boldness.  Back to chapter 4:

24 When the believers heard their report, they raised their voices in unity and prayed, “Lord Yahweh, YOU are the Lord of all! YOU created the universe—the earth, the sky, the sea, and everything that is in them. 25 And YOU spoke by the Holy Spirit through your servant David, our forefather, saying:

‘How dare the nations plan a rebellion,

ranting and raging against the Lord Most High?

    Their foolish plots are futile!

26 Look at how the kings of the earth take their stand,

with the rulers scheming and conspiring together

against God and HIS anointed Messiah!’

Isn’t this same situation happening today?  The devil and his demons are once again attempting to keep the Kingdom of GOD from expanding.  The true remnant will not let that happen!  We are to pray in a similar manner as the believers in Acts chapter 4 when the realized that the opposition was attempting to force their silence:

29 So now, Lord, listen to their threats to harm us. Empower us, as Your servants, to speak the Word of God freely and courageously. 30 Stretch out Your Hand of power through us to heal, and to move in signs and wonders by the Name of Your Holy Son, Jesus!”

31 At that moment the earth shook beneath them, causing the building they were in to tremble. Each one of them was filled with the Holy Spirit, and they proclaimed the Word of God with unrestrained boldness.

32 All the believers were one in mind and heart. Selfishness was not a part of their community, for they shared everything they had with one another. 33 The apostles gave powerful testimonies about the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great measures of grace rested upon them all. 34–35 Some who owned houses or land sold them and brought the proceeds before the apostles to distribute to those without. Not a single person among them was needy.

The adversary and his minions can do nothing when believers are in full unity- one in mind and heart.  Selfishness was not found among them and great measures of grace rested upon them all!  Their mindset was in full alignment with The Holy Spirit and tangible fruit came forth: signs, wonders, and salvation.  Coming into this same maturity and resulting good fruit are what these writings are all about!

The Call To Spiritual Warfare: Part 5

Friday, February 5th, 2021

The adversary’s arsenal includes fear, uncertainty, doubt, worry, anxiety, and torment.  You can categorize every situation by determining whether the situation arises from stealing, killing, and/or destroying something.  Does the situation produce life and restoration?

Jesus gave us this revelation when He spoke in John chapter 10:

9 I am the Gateway. To enter through Me is to experience life, freedom, and satisfaction. 10 A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!

How simple it is to determine the source of our situations we are dealing with on a daily basis.  The demonic arsenal coming against you is trying to manipulate and control you.  When you are manipulated and controlled, you are actually working against Jesus, not with Him.

How many prophecies you have been exposed to have come to pass?  How many of those prophecies caused you to move toward inactivity because you stopped what you were doing for the Kingdom and simply waited for them to come to fruition?

We have been exposed to many false prophets but in many cases, we simply “forgot” their past errors and continued to be mesmerized by their apparent or promoted connection with the spiritual.  Yes, they were connected but with the wrong spirit.  We must be fruit inspectors and rely on The Holy Spirit to reveal a true prophecy versus a false prophecy.

An arsenal is an array of resources available for a certain purpose.  FATHER has provided for our arsenal against the devil and his demons, we need to find out what those resources are and utilize them in an appropriate manner.  Both Agape Love and faith are in our arsenal.  Ephesians chapter 6 lists weapons in our arsenal.  Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit:

11 Put on God’s complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser! 12 Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage. 13 Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.

14 Put on Truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on Holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart. 15 Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.

16 In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One! 17–18 Embrace the power of Salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God.

Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers.

FATHER gave us overflowing provision to walk and fight victoriously in every situation confronting us on a daily basis.  Do you think that the powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits are doing nothing?  The Holy Spirit has warned us of their nefarious activities and we have been given the authority and power to confront them and achieve total victory over them.  We must not allow ourselves to walk without this revelation!

If you take an audit of your daily activities, what will you find?  Are you too busy to focus on Spiritual matters?  Are there too many distractions that pull you in all directions?  Are you in the wrong job?  Are you dealing with health issues that appear to have no solution?  Are you predisposed to national politics and affairs which take your focus away from the Spiritual?

Guess what, your mindset needs to change and realign with the priorities of The Holy Spirit.  If you do, The Holy Spirit will move you away from all these issues and your priorities will begin to align with FATHER’S.  You will get back on the road to Spiritual maturity and you must not look back.  Peace will be the result.

We must be discerners in our walk and not allow our time to be stolen by the enemy.  He will paralyze us if possible.  Fear is like a cancer in your spirit that will eat away at you.  This is why we are commanded to “Fear not” but instead walk in faith.

Look at what the current virus has done.  It has instilled fear across the globe and people are now being fully controlled and manipulated by the various powers put in place by the adversary.  Each of us has a responsibility to respond according to The Holy Spirit.

It is clear that this is an all out war against the saints and FATHER’S current move which I call the “Great Awakening”.  Lies and fraud have been revealed at the highest levels by those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.  This battle will be won by Spiritual warfare, not bullets or intimidation.

GOD has made a way for you to take away fear in your life.  You must seek HIM and not the latest counsel from men which happens to change nearly every day.  Their solutions are only temporary in nature whereas FATHER’S directives are based on Absolute Truth.

The devil is a liar and he is limited as is his resources.  On the other hand, FATHER’S resources are unlimited and we have sufficient provision to walk out our calling.  Never forget this Truth.

When you become anxious and worry, you give the devil permission to “imprison”, captivate, or confine you from your purpose.  Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Corinthians chapter 15:

58 So now, Beloved ones, stand firm and secure. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. We know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.

Let us walk in unshakable confidence today knowing that the enemy has no weapon that can affect our walk in we stand firm.  We must control “self”.

Paul also wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Timothy, chapter 1:

7 For God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, Love, and self-control.

The Call To Spiritual Warfare: Part 4

Thursday, February 4th, 2021

To confront means:

1. To stand face to face in full view; to face; to stand in front.

2. To stand in direct opposition; to oppose.

3. To set face to face; to bring into the presence of; as a accused person and a witness, in court, for examination and discovery of the truth; followed by with.

Many Christians talk about the devil and his demons but we are meant to confront them.  In 2020, many of the devil’s devices were exposed for all to see but what did the “church” do about the lies and fraud?  Nothing!

Ezekiel wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 16:

1 Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

2 Son of man, confront Jerusalem, understand, and realize her [idolatrous] abominations [that they] are disgusting, detestable, and shamefully vile.

As Sons and Daughters of GOD, we are not to back down when FATHER tells us to confront what is disgusting, detestable, and shamefully vile before HIS Eyes.  We are not to cower down and hide in a corner allowing the sins of many to go unabated.  We are to confront the enemy as Jesus did.  FATHER had Jesus go across the water and confront the demons who were possessing a man in the region of the Gerasenes  (Luke 8:22-39).

Jesus went, confronted, cast out, and then left the area.  FATHER instructed Him to go across for one purpose- confront and remove the enemy from the man.  This is a perfect example of one facet of spiritual warfare.

In Luke chapter 8, Jesus spoke:

22 One day Jesus said to his disciples, “Let’s cross to the other side of the lake.” So they got into a boat and started out. 23 As they sailed across, Jesus settled down for a nap. But soon a fierce storm came down on the lake. The boat was filling with water, and they were in real danger.

24 The disciples went and woke Him up, shouting, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!”

When Jesus woke up, He rebuked the wind and the raging waves. Suddenly the storm stopped and all was calm. 25 Then He asked them, “Where is your faith?”

The disciples were terrified and amazed. “Who is this man?” they asked each other. “When He gives a command, even the wind and waves obey Him!”

Jesus was instructed by FATHER to cross the lake to another geographic area where demons were having their way with a particular man.  Jesus never went anywhere unless FATHER directed Him so He went by Divine appointment to deal with a legion of demons.

Did FATHER cause the wind and raging waves once they were in the middle of the lake?  No, the prince of the power of air attempted to kill them.

Paul reveals by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 2:

2 It wasn’t that long ago that you lived in the religion, customs, and values of this world, obeying the dark ruler of the earthly realm who fills the atmosphere with his authority, and works diligently in the hearts of those who are disobedient to the Truth of God.

Jesus easily dealt with the demonic prince and commanded the storm to depart and the sea became calm.  Jesus had the authority to override the demonic force and we have the same authority as well if we walk in faith.  Jesus chastised the disciples for failing to deal with this demon on their own.  He did not coddle them and promote their immaturity.  Instead, He gave them the example for them to follow in such circumstances.  It was a training mission for them… and us.

Demonic forces are not in some passive state thus leaving us alone.  They want to keep us subdued and only carry out their intent.  We must no longer accept their directives in any subtle manner.  This is why it is critical for us to be fully led by The Holy Spirit on a daily basis as Jesus was led.

Jesus was confrontational toward demons and religious leaders.  He had no fear and expressed whatever FATHER directed in order to reveal the Truth as well as the lies and deception surrounding their actions.  We must be willing to do the same.

Jesus spoke in Revelation chapter 2:

2 I know all that you’ve done for Me—you have worked hard and persevered. I know that you don’t tolerate evil. You have tested those who claimed to be apostles and proved they are not, for they were imposters. 3 I also know how you have bravely endured trials and persecutions because of My Name, yet you have not become discouraged. 4 But I have this against you: you have abandoned the passionate Love you had for Me at the beginning. 5 Think about how far you have fallen! Repent and do the works of Love you did at first. I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place of influence if you do not repent.

Have you abandoned that passionate Agape Love for Jesus?  Are you actually working against Him as you sit in a religious pew thus promoting one of the 42,000 religions my friend Steve mentioned in a previous post?  We need to be working with Jesus, not against Him.  The power resides with Him, not the religious leaders we focused on in the past.  It is time to confront these issues and change our mindset so that we will become mature vessels of Honor who work with Jesus solely based on His directives given to us by The Holy Spirit.

John 1:11-14

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021

Consider this reconstruction of John chapter 1 verses 11 through 14. My friend Steve provided this rendering.

“He (the Word/YHVH/Jesus) came to His personal and private ones who were uniquely His own. And the personal and private ones who were uniquely His own did not take the strong personal initiative to receive, learn or assume their office from Him.”             “But, whoever among the many took the strong personal initiative to aggressively lay hold of and receive Him, He gave to them the delegated authority, force, liberty and competence to emerge and transition from one realm and condition to another to become children who are willing to live in full dependence on God; to those who persuaded themselves to believe, to affirm and to have confidence in and who entrusted their spiritual well-being to the Name, Authority and Cause of Him. (v 12)              “who were not born out from and to bloodshed; nor out from and to the will, choice or decree of flesh; nor out from and to the will, choice or decree of a man; but instead out from and to God.              “And the Word (YHVH, the Father’s Logos) emerged transitioning from one realm, place and condition to another to become a human being of flesh that dwells and resides in its own physical tent with us. And we intently gazed upon, observed and contemplated to grasp the significance and impact of His infinite, intrinsic worth; a glory that evokes a good opinion of infinite, intrinsic worth; a glory that evokes a good opinion of one in a class who is from, close beside and intimately participating with Father, the One who imparts life and passes on the likeness of grace, kindness, favor and truth.” (John 1:11-14)

After reading the above, I commented to Steve: In my understanding, That reconstruction expresses the Divine Intent behind those words.  It clearly delineates those who are “all in” from the rest.  There aren’t that many who fall into the prior category unless you are seeing something beyond what I see.  It looks to be the classic remnant.

Steve responded:

Jesus hasn’t disclosed or discussed with me the percent of “the many” that are “all in.” I know from my own experience that there are “many” who have taken the “strong personal initiative to aggressively lay hold of and receive” the various religious doctrines, orthodoxy, teachings and belief system of Christianity and its administrative arm called the Church (about 2 billion of them). I think the last count I saw, though, is that there are some 42,000 denominations within Christianity. (1Corinthians 1:13) So, there are more than a few Christians out there, most of whom carry the plague of the serpent’s curse of enmity within them that is then used to divide them from other Christians in the name of Christ — the supposed Anointed One. Hmmm. . .
But, my experience has also been that there are a scant few who are taking the “strong personal initiative to aggressively lay hold of and receive” the Person of Jesus in the way they have the Religious Jesus — the Jesus of the Bible, Christianity and the Church. And so, they are experts at being Christians with all the delusion that comes with it, but have no clue how to be effective residents of the Kingdom. So, while professing to be followers of Jesus, they are actually agents and propagators of darkness. I know this is true because I was chief among them until Jesus personally and privately invited me to make another choice, which meant I had to drop the religious Jesus to “aggressively lay hold of” the Person Jesus ALONE. And, the fact that I have never met a single Christian (including me) who has actually been taught by the Church how to rule WITH Jesus is a testament to that sad reality.

Ponder the above and allow The Holy Spirit to minister Truth and life. You and I need to be in unity with Person of Jesus as a member of His Bride. We don’t need 42,000 denominations to tell us what The Holy Spirit is saying.

The Call To Spiritual Warfare: Part 3

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021

Dedicate your mind to Christ every morning when you get up.  Don’t allow yourself to be preoccupied with the demands of the day.  Quiet the mind so that it can hear what THE SPIRIT is saying.  Soon, the mind will be properly conditioned to hear with a much greater clarity and your fruitfulness will increase.

To be conformed means to take on the same pattern or likeness of someone or something else.  Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 12:

1 Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be His Sacred, living sacrifices. And live in Holiness, experiencing all that delights His heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.

2 Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in His eyes.

What would the adversary want you to do instead?  The opposite… imitate the ideals and opinions of the culture around us and accept those opinions as “truth”.  The result is an unsatisfying life with imperfections everywhere you look.  Your perspective grows darkened and you are unable to discern Spiritual Truths when you hear them.  The subtlety of blindness grows until you wonder why you spend time with spiritual matters when you could be entertained by what the world offers.  That condition is where the adversary wants to keep you.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5:

16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

19 Never restrain or put out the fire of the Holy Spirit. 20 Do not scoff at prophecies, 21 but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good. 22 Stay away from every kind of evil.

I take the opportunity to pray in Tongues throughout the day for we are to “never stop praying” and we must not restrain The Holy Spirit in our daily walk.  We can talk with FATHER as we walk or drive.  It is no different than having someone else physically with us as we conduct the day’s business.  After awhile, it will become “first-nature” with you and you will find yourself praying at every opportunity.

The demons will no longer challenge those who walk in such a close relationship with FATHER.  They will go look for a weaker vessel to harass.

In Jude, it is written by The Holy Spirit:

20 But you, my delightfully loved friends, constantly and progressively build yourselves up on the foundation of your most holy faith by praying every moment in the Spirit.

Spiritual warriors must be strong and prepared for any circumstance that arises.  What is the point of focusing on the armor of GOD if you never plan to use it?  Do you think the devil or his demons are going to leave you alone as you pursue a full, mature relationship with FATHER without challenging you?

How can we be in unity if some of us are unprepared or ill-equipped to go into battle with Our Lord Jesus Christ?  Our inner man must be built up and willing to confront these spiritual powers of darkness who want to steal, kill, and destroy us.

We need to speak life into our individual situations and quit agreeing with the devil who has the ability to promote adverse circumstances in our life.  He only has authority if we give it to him.  We must watch our words in every situation we encounter.  The most dangerous dis-ease in the world is fear and when we agree with the fear set before us, we in effect accept the disease into our body.  If we accept adverse circumstances, we have come into agreement with the adversary and effectively create a “contract”.  Fear will stop you from your purpose and destiny!

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 10:

26 “Don’t be afraid or intimidated by others, for God will bring everything out into the open and every secret will be told. 27 What I say to you in the dark, repeat in broad daylight, and what you hear in a whisper, announce it publicly. 28 Don’t be in fear of those who can kill only the body but not your soul. Fear only God, who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

The adversary will use vessels of dishonor to intimidate you if possible.  They will look for any sign of weakness and exploit it.  We are to be full of courage and not allow ourselves to be dis-couraged.  We must remove the “dis-“ from our vocabulary.  As a man thinks, so is he.  Fear not!

The Call To Spiritual Warfare: Part 2

Monday, February 1st, 2021

Fear causes you to be paralyzed and unable to take appropriation actions when confronted by life’s challenges.  You begin to doubt in every area.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2 Corinthians chapter 2:

11 so that we would not be exploited by the adversary, satan, for we know his clever schemes.

The sad reality is that most believers are not aware of the adversary’s clever schemes and they play into his hands on a continual basis.  The demons will use willing vessels to promote their agenda against us and many unsuspecting believers unknowingly promote their overall agenda against FATHER’S Kingdom coming forth on earth.  In fact, some unknowingly become a second witness to such agendas.

One of the adversary’s primary means of moving the believer into spiritual inactivity is by diversions.  Entertainment is now one of the biggest distractions we deal with in the U.S.  Everyone seeks out distractions through entertainment, sports, social media, etc.  The gaming industry continues to develop entertaining games for people’s smart phones in order to distract them  from dealing with reality.  What is the point?  It is just another clever scheme to distract us from important Spiritual matters.

The devil has a plot, but GOD has a plan for our life.  The devil’s plot is meant to distract us from FATHER’S plan for each of us.  The adversary wants to keep us from producing any fruit for the Kingdom thus he will distract from our calling if we allow it.

Jesus spoke in Mark 11:

12 On the day following, when they had come away from Bethany, He was hungry.

13 And seeing in the distance a fig tree [covered] with leaves, He went to see if He could find any [fruit] on it [for in the fig tree the fruit appears at the same time as the leaves]. But when He came up to it, He found nothing but leaves, for the fig season had not yet come.

14 And He said to it, No one ever again shall eat fruit from you. And His disciples were listening [to what He said].

From a distance, many believers may look fruitful by attending church and supporting men’s ministries but is there any real Spiritual fruit?  Upon inspection, what would Jesus find?  Leaves only?  Our fruitfulness is the real test of whether we are walking according to our individual callings or not.  Are our actions promoting life and restoration?

Who owns your time?  This is to whom you have dedicated your allegiance.  Can any form of entertainment heal you?  Can your smart phone heal you?  As Paul said in Ephesians 4:14 when we become mature and fruitful, “we will not be easily shaken by trouble, nor led astray by novel teachings or by the false doctrines of deceivers who teach clever lies.”  The devil will use deceivers to teach the immature false doctrines which sound good but have no good fruit.  The result of such teachings is simply a waste of time.

Clever deceivers will mimic the Voice of GOD and cause those who are not being led by The Holy Spirit to believe their deceptive teachings.  Their teaching will sound good and they will provide many references which appear “logical” that support their clever deceptions, ever so subtle.  The devil tried this tactic on Jesus in the wilderness, but to no avail.  We too must be vigilant concerning the devices of the adversary.

The purpose of deception is to confuse us, steal from us, and separate us from FATHER.  Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 12:

2 Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in HIS eyes.

It is more critical than ever before for us to discern FATHER’S Will for us as we deal with all the deceptions directed toward us.  We must prepare ourselves daily and not allow outside interference to divert our attention from renewing our minds.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Psalm 91:

5 You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night

nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you.

6 Don’t fear a thing!

Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you,

nor will the powers of evil launched against you.

As we dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High, we will no longer be subject to demonic attacks at night.  Demons have used dreams and other means to attack us while we are sleeping.  Nightmares are such devices meant to instill fear, uncertainty, and doubt in our Spiritual walk.  When we become aware of the source of these devices, we are equipped to cast down those imaginations attempting to exalt themselves above The Word.

Does the enemy have strongholds in your mind?  Such strongholds must be torn down and removed by The Word and its preeminence in your life.  We are to be anxious for nothing but if we are, we must deal with the source of that anxiety.  Don’t allow thoughts contrary to The Word to take root in your mind by dwelling on them.  Cast them down immediately!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2 Corinthians chapter 10:

2 Now I plead with you that when I come, don’t force me to take a hard line with you (which I’m willing to do) by daring to confront those who mistakenly believe that we are living by the standards of the world, not by the Spirit’s wisdom and power. 3–4 For although we live in the natural realm, we don’t wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation to achieve our aims. Instead, our spiritual weapons are energized with Divine power to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide. 5 We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist that it bow in obedience to the Anointed One. 6 Since we are armed with such dynamic weaponry, we stand ready to punish any trace of rebellion, as soon as you choose complete obedience.

It is time to be active in the area of spiritual warfare.
