The Fear of THE LORD: Part 16

Walking in The Fear of THE LORD keeps us from being adversely affected by the perilous times ahead and their deceptions!

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Timothy chapter 3:

1   But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,

4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than Lovers of God,

5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,

7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth.

8 Now as Jannes (meaning “he vexed”) and Jambres (meaning “foamy healer”) resisted Moses, so do these also resist the Truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith;

9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

When men are lovers of themselves which results in self-centeredness, they become lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, and unholy.  They become legends in their own minds

Jannes and Jannes, were two Egyptian magicians who in the presence of Pharaoh imitated the miracles of Aaron in order to destroy his influence with the king. Paul derived their names from the tradition of the Talmudists and the Rabbins.

Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Exodus chapter 7:

8  Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,

9 “When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, ‘Show a miracle for yourselves,’ then you shall say to Aaron, ‘Take your rod and cast it before Pharaoh, and let it become a serpent.'”

10 So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, just as the LORD commanded. And Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

11 But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt (Jannes and Jannes), they also did in like manner with their enchantments.

12 For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.

Do not be deceived by signs and wonders initiated by the adversary and his followers.  Know that FATHER will ultimately deal with them through you as you walk in The Fear of THE LORD.  Don’t fear their incantations or spells for they have no power over the true believer.

As you proceed down the list describing the end times, you can mark off each for they are all happening now, without exception.  It is vital that we pursue Holiness and the manifestation of The Fear of The Lord in our lives.

We need to be united, stable, and immovable in these times.  I have never seen such division as is happening in these times.  Only those who do walk in Holiness and The Fear of The Lord will be in full unity with FATHER.

How confident are you in your faith?  Jesus will return to judge the world and calls us to be faithful.  In the last days, times of difficulty will come and they have already arrived.  When the pandemic arrived, the church overall, was weak and unprepared.  Fear gripped the hearts of many.  Churches closed their doors rather than being known as a source of health and healing.  Does Jesus fear any virus or its variants?  Leprosy was no issue to Him.

Evil men and sorcerers will progress from bad to worse, deceived and deceiving, as they lead people further from the Truth.  Yet we must continue to advance in strength with the Truth wrapped around our hearts, being assured by God that He’s the One Who has truly taught us all these things.  HE has transmitted His very Substance into every Scripture, for it is God-breathed. It will empower you by Its instruction and correction, giving you the strength to take the right direction and lead you deeper into the path of Godliness.  Then we will be God’s servants, fully mature and perfectly prepared to fulfill any assignment God gives us.
