Perfect Faith

Perfect faith has no doubt.  James wrote in chapter 1

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;

8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Is FATHER unreliable?  Each of us must overcome the issue of unbelief in our hearts about HIS Word.  Do you really believe FATHER’S Word or can you only believe portions?  I find it interesting that people find it easier to believe in a man or woman wearing a white coat with a medical degree than FATHER’S Word about healing the sick.  Don’t get me wrong, I believe doctors are necessary for those who are unable to walk fully by the Word.  If I find myself in some aspect of unbelief or lack of faith I have no issue of seeking medical attention.

FATHER fully understands our weaknesses but my goal for you and me is to place our full and complete trust in FATHER.  There is no condemnation in utilizing the medical field while maturing into perfect faith.  It is good to relieve the symptoms of the problem but it is best if we can remove the root of the problem and FATHER is ready and willing to restore each and every one of us.  In Psalm 105 we see the healing power of FATHER:

37 He also brought them out with silver and gold,

And there was none feeble among His tribes.

Can you imagine 3 million people anywhere in the world today without at least one person with sickness or disease?  Perfect faith can, doubt can’t.  As we move closer to FATHER and align ourselves with HIM, then our faith will be perfected and mature.  Instead of having “incidents” of faith, we will walk consistently in faith.  None of us expect much from an infant but at some point the child should mature into a productive adult.  If you have doubt and unbelief don’t be dissuaded from moving on to maturity.  It is never too late to mature into perfect faith.

Peter learned a great lesson in Acts chapter 10, FATHER is not a respecter of persons.  Peter assumed that the Jews were set apart from others but found that to be a wrong assumption.  FATHER dealt with Peter in a vision in order to prepare him to minister to Cornelius, a Roman centurion.  The Romans were enemies of the Jewish nation yet FATHER made it quite clear to Peter that Romans were as important to HIM as Jews.  When Peter arrived at Cornelius’ house:

34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.”

None of us are set apart to endure chronic illness or disease.  But why is disease so persistent?  Our faith has been directed to man’s solutions, not FATHER.  Many are now influenced by tradition instead of revelation.  Most are uncertain in their mind about FATHER healing them because of what they see and hear all around them.  FATHER’S Will is described in Scripture and as you search out the Scripture, you become familiar with HIS revealed Will.  Some have forgotten HIS Will and that is why I strongly urge you to reread the Gospels and specifically the words of Jesus.  He specifically expressed the Will of FATHER as He said in John chapter 6:

38  For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

As you read the words of Jesus, consider they are the words directly from FATHER to you.  It is no more difficult for FATHER to heal you than to minister salvation to you.  Jesus Christ’s redemptive work included healing but you must receive it by faith with no doubt.  Let us become perfected in our faith as we walk in perfect Love.

It is time to increase in faith.  You don’t have to be a Biblical scholar in order to have perfect faith.  The disciples were not scholars yet their faith dramatically increased and the anointing came for them to heal the sick.  They doubted not as they were instructed by Jesus to minister to all of mankind.  We are instructed to do the same.  As we move and speak according to HIS SPIRIT, FATHER will give us appropriate words to speak to those in need.

Jesus’ faith was perfect and mature thus great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all (Matthew 12:15).  We must not see ourselves as weak and unable to become something greater than what we are today.  We must begin to see ourselves as FATHER sees us.  Each of us has great potential but unless we remove doubt and unbelief, we will never rise up to the fullness of our calling.  Perfect faith is attainable and FATHER is fully reliable to bring HIS Word to pass.  It is time to remove the double-mindedness.
