Fulfilling FATHER’S Intent

Jesus is the expression of Our Heavenly Father and FATHER has called us also to be HIS expression on earth.  In Matthew 8:

16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:

“He Himself took our infirmities

And bore our sicknesses.”

Were there more demon-possessed people in those times than there are today?  I think not.  It is clear for all to see there are more sick today than ever before so I must expect FATHER will empower those with pure hearts to fulfill the great commission of Mark 16:

15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;

18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Jesus fulfilled Isaiah’s prophecy given in Isaiah 53:4 and we are to fulfill Jesus’ commission given above.  Both commands were give by FATHER to express HIS Love and will for mankind.  Every creature means every thing created by FATHER and nothing is left out.  There are those of us who will embrace this commission, some will focus on certain portions, and the rest will go about their business as usual.  I can attest to you that when you fully embrace FATHER’S Word, you are never disappointed.  On the contrary, your life will become rich with the fruit of THE SPIRIT.

Years ago we had a pesky demon show up in the house we bought.  Our two year-old son would see it down the hall beyond the room to our bedroom where it stopped without coming closer.  He called it a “black man in the hall” and this went on for several nights.  After receiving some wise counsel we prayed through our house including every closet and proclaimed the Blood of Jesus Christ over our entire household.  The demon departed and two angels appeared to our son giving him peace that night and we had no more issues.  That was 38 years ago.

Our mandate has not changed since Jesus spoke it in Mark 16, (Matt. 28:16–20; Luke 24:44–49; Acts 1:6–8 ).  The sick are still out there, the demons are still around, and the lost still need saved.  FATHER’S Love remains steadfast and the whole world will be redeemed.  Let our focus be on HIS priorities and not the world’s.
