Gather, Not Scatter

In Luke chapter 11, Jesus had cast a demon, it was mute, and then the person began to speak.  Some of them said, “He casts out demons by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.”  Jesus quickly responded to them that a house divided against itself will fall and then He said:

20 But if I cast out demons with the finger of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.

21 When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace.

22 But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armor in which he trusted, and divides his spoils.

23 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.

When faith works by Love, demons will be cast out of those whom they plague for none should be kept in bondage any longer.  We need to rise up to the Great Commission and expect FATHER to fully empower us over all sickness, disease, demons, and any other hindrance to gathering souls for the Kingdom.  We should not focus on just one aspect of gathering but be balanced in our walk according to the needs of those we engage.

Not everybody has a demon so we shouldn’t look for one around every corner.  On the other hand we must not negate that fact that demons are still active and attempting to initiate division among the saints.  FATHER is pleased and willing to show us which situation we are in and how to deal with it as we are able to hear HIS Voice.  By their nature demons are deceptive, manipulative, and persistent yet they are powerless against the Blood of Christ.

As we are led by the Holy Spirit we will be challenged by those who oppose the Kingdom.  We must not be intimidated by them for FATHER will deal with them accordingly.  In Matthew chapter 12 where the above account of the deaf mute being ministered to by Jesus is found, Jesus went on to say:

31 “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.

32 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.”

Blasphemy means:

  1. slander, detraction, speech injurious, to another’s good name

  2. impious and reproachful speech injurious to divine majesty

As we are fully led by HIS SPIRIT, FATHER will deal with those who are in opposition with whatever corrective action is needful.  I have seen several instances of this in the past where those in opposition were removed from the situation.  Let us be mindful of the brevity and Holiness of walking by HIS SPIRIT.  We are called to establish HIS Kingdom by bringing in souls which in turn increases the Kingdom on earth.  Let none of our actions scatter or divide.

There is no demon more powerful than Jesus or those who are walking in the full maturity of Love and are indeed Sons as well.  In John 14 Jesus spoke:

12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.

13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”

Jesus said it so you should expect it.  Jettison that unbelief and allow great faith to prevail in your life operating by Love.  Consider all the great miracles of healing He did and know that He said we should walk out even greater works.  He only spoke what FATHER expressed to Him thus these words come from the Throne Room to us.  Embrace these words and you will be in the gathering business.
