In Isaiah chapter 57 we find:
20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
21 “There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”
The turbulent sea represents the lowest level man resides in. The angel in Revelation reveals this to John in chapter 17:
15 Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.”
There is much turmoil occurring around the world in some form or fashion. People are in a state of unrest whether it be politically, socially, or economically. The seas are troubled and we are beginning to see what the angel told John in the Revelation of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
As we move forward during these turbulent times, we will be tested to reveal what is in our hearts. What will be found? Will it be Love, faith, and hope? In Jeremiah chapter 17 we read:
9 “The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked;
Who can know it?
10 I, the LORD, search the heart,
I test the mind,
Even to give every man according to his ways,
According to the fruit of his doings.
We must be rooted and grounded in Love in the very core of our heart in order to operate in the peace of the Heavenlies as the turmoil in the lower realms increase. Will FATHER find Divine unconditional Love as HE searches our hearts? You can be assured that our hearts will be tested to see where we really are in our walk WITH HIM. Our priorities will be assessed for their relevance to HIS direction and we will be shown exactly where we stand in our progress toward full maturity IN HIM. Time is of the essence and it is important to redirect our focus to those things which are enduring rather than the temporal.
In Matthew chapter 8 the disciples were to be tested to reveal where they were at spiritually:
23 Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.
24 And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep.
25 Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
26 But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
27 So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”
If you are walking in the same manner as Jesus walked, you will not be affected by the troubled sea of humanity. Instead you will take command of the situation and cast down any fear that might attempt to gain a foothold. You will be the calming force as all around you are losing their heads. Your Love and faith will be tested and found to be strong. We should all be focused on strengthening ourselves in this area. The winds may blow but our house will not fall.
