Walking In Faith

Faith is the steadfast belief in FATHER’S Word above all else no matter what our five physical senses would communicate to the contrary.  By THE SPIRIT it is written in Hebrews chapter 11:

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.

In order to embrace the fullness of the above passage, we must not only read HIS Word but hear HIS Word spoken to us and respond to HIS Word by acting upon It.  This is a major factor in ascending to a higher level of maturity.  Abraham did not have the Old and New Testament to refer to when he responded to FATHER’S Word given to him.  He simply believed what he heard from FATHER.  We tend to believe it is more difficult to hear and believe FATHER’S Voice than to open our Bible and read what HE told someone else resulting in them recording HIS Word and then discerning its appropriateness for our situation.

We need to expect to hear FATHER and walk by HIS SPIRIT.  Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and others did.  The Scriptures should become a reference rather than the sole Source of FATHER’S directives.

Jesus found it necessary to separate Himself on a daily basis to spend time with FATHER.  We should do the same.  If the first Begotten Son established it as a necessity, shouldn’t we?  This is a very simple and straightforward Truth.  If FATHER will talk directly to those who are listed in faith’s hall of fame in the 11th chapter of Hebrews, we should expect HIM to speak to us directly.  HE isn’t the problem, our willingness to hear HIM is the issue at hand.  Press in and don’t give up for the noise of the world is deafening and has impacted our hearing.  Ask FATHER to open your eyes and ears and then set your expectation accordingly.  It is time we are to be led by THE SPIRIT.
