Joy

Joy is a spiritual experience whereas happiness is a soulish experience.  We need to discern the difference.

Happiness is being in the enjoyment of agreeable sensations from the possession of good; enjoying pleasure from the gratification of appetites or desires. The pleasurable sensations derived from the gratification of sensual appetites render a person temporarily happy; but he only can be esteemed really and permanently happy who enjoys peace of mind in the favor of God. To be in any degree happy we must be free from pain both of body and of mind; to be very happy we must be in the enjoyment of lively sensations of pleasure, either of body or mind.

Revelation comes through your spirit, not through your mind.  Some have used kinesiology (muscle testing of the body) in an attempt to get revelation.  The Holy Spirit does not need to communicate to us by an external means so we should be careful not to pursue revelation through some methodology focused on the external.  The Holy Spirit will always talk to you through your spirit thus your soul and body should follow your spirit, not the opposite.

When my intent aligns with FATHER’S Divine Intent, joy comes forth.  Joy comes through our relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ.  It does not merely come by us attaining a position in the Kingdom.  Moreover, life is about relationships and not about acquiring things.  Our relationship with FATHER will bring forth joy!

Worship and praise solidifies our relationship with Our Heavenly Father.  Our spirit commands our mind and body to submit to Holy worship and praise thus confirming and reinforcing the preeminence of Our Heavenly Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and The Most Holy Spirit in our life.  As we do this, favor from Above comes forth.  Doors open for us which were previously closed.  I have seen this reality occur countless times over the years.

Peter wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2 Peter chapter 1:

2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Our knowledge of FATHER and of Jesus Our Lord should be ever increasing.  As we immerse ourselves in praise and worship, HE inhabits our praise.  HIS closeness to us moves us to walk fully as partakers of the Divine nature.  Lust no longer has any effect in our lives.  Greed is no longer found among us.  Agape Love flows from our hearts to others.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Zephaniah chapter 3:

13 The remnant of Israel shall do no unrighteousness

And speak no lies,

Nor shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth;

For they shall feed their flocks and lie down,

And no one shall make them afraid.”

14 Sing, O daughter of Zion!

Shout, O Israel!

Be glad and rejoice with all your heart,

O daughter of Jerusalem!

15 The LORD has taken away your judgments,

He has cast out your enemy.

The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst;

You shall see disaster no more.

16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:

“Do not fear;

Zion, let not your hands be weak.

17 The LORD your God in your midst,

The Mighty One, will save;

He will rejoice over you with gladness,

He will quiet you with His love,

He will rejoice over you with singing.”

It looks like there is much singing to come forth!
